But what's good is it's going to be a great show.

You've made four albums in quite a relatively short period of time.

Do you just make them when they're ready?

-When they're ready to go?

-Yeah.

Yeah, I seem to...

It doesn't seem like a short amount of time to me,

because that's what I do for my job.

So...

There are times which I'm not writing,

and that can be very frustrating, but, you know...

then it always comes back.

So I'm always writing because that's what I do.

That's what I do with my day,

so it's not a huge surprise to me

that, from that, there has been four records.

I hope it continues...

..that I have interesting-ish things to write about,

which may not always be the case.

What can we expect from you tonight?

we had a new album out in May

What about Other Voices coming to Derry,

what do you think about that?

It's fantastic, I just wish it was here every weekend,

and I think what it's done is, you know, I always believe in Derry

because, obviously, the city has been through so much,

every community has been through so much and, you know,

the passion and the love of music in the city,

I feel, now, with what Other Voices has done

and it now being the City of Culture,

the scenery has almost gone...

And that's all the young people and all the people

that have their own bands who are making their own records

in and around their houses and the clubs and the studios in Derry,

they've all come out.

There's a great quote now, I've said it so many times -

"The great songs are out there, hiding in the hills

"and have escaped the vile medical procedure of recording."

It's a Tom Waits quote, and I believe that's like Derry now.

You know in Star Wars,

when all the little Ewoks come out of the mountains,

that's how I feel about it,

so I think they're all just coming out and it's giving Derry,

the Music Trail this weekend, has given the city an opportunity

to actually see the amount of talent

and the amount of originality that's in the city.

It's fantastic.
