This is the Olympics of singing. Our fewer superstar coaches started

:00:16.:00:24.

the live shows -- four superstar coaches started the live show with

:00:24.:00:28.

four artists. Now Will, Jessie, Danny and Tom are left with just

:00:28.:00:33.

four. Tonight, Team Will and Tom are performing for your votes.

:00:33.:00:40.

We're stronger than ever. Team Will, champions. This week Tom's team

:00:40.:00:45.

face the biggest challenge yet. Dinosaur mini golf. And have Team

:00:45.:00:49.

Will bitten off more than they can chew. I heard there were hungry

:00:49.:00:52.

singers here. They've hung out together and

:00:52.:00:57.

tonight, for the first time, they'll sing together. As coaches

:00:57.:01:01.

join artists live. It's like a dream come true. It doesn't get

:01:01.:01:05.

better than that You're going to love it. At this crucial stage of

:01:05.:01:11.

the competition, they need to shine like true stars. Pressure. Because

:01:11.:01:16.

this weekend, each team must lose not one, but two artists.

:01:16.:01:22.

Only the very best will survive. You can't all win. As we take one

:01:23.:01:32.
:01:33.:01:41.

step closer to finding... The Voice. Good evening and welcome to The

:01:41.:01:46.

Voice. We're live and the crowd are going wild because Team Will and

:01:46.:01:50.

Team Tom are back singing for glory. Now just a few moments ago, all of

:01:50.:01:54.

our artists were dreaming of performing for millions and now

:01:54.:01:58.

it's happening. Here in TV's biggest arena. If that wasn't

:01:58.:02:02.

enough, tonight for the first time, Tom and Will are singing with their

:02:02.:02:08.

artists live. Yes, now the singers could be just three weeks away from

:02:08.:02:11.

the final. They'll still need your votes and the support of the people

:02:11.:02:14.

who put them here in the first place, our coaches. With opinions

:02:14.:02:19.

as big as his hair, it's Danny O'Donoghue.

:02:19.:02:23.

If he hasn't met you, you're not worth meeting, Sir Tom Jones.

:02:24.:02:30.

truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth from Jessie J.

:02:30.:02:34.

there's some pretty dope trousers on will.i.am.

:02:35.:02:38.

They didn't get where they are today without the support of the

:02:38.:02:43.

public. Yes, this weekend, Tom and Will are losing not one, but two of

:02:43.:02:47.

their artists. You can help save your favourites by voting for them.

:02:47.:02:50.

Only the artists with the most public votes is guaranteed a place

:02:50.:02:54.

in the semi-finals. That will leave Tom and Will with three artists in

:02:54.:02:58.

danger. They can only save one of them. All of those decisions will

:02:58.:03:02.

be revealed on Sunday night's show. Tom, tonight the artists are going

:03:02.:03:06.

to have to dig deep and bring everything to the table. Yes. I

:03:06.:03:12.

think they should think of this as like a World Tour. But they've

:03:12.:03:17.

still got countries to visit yet. So, they have to bring 100%. You

:03:17.:03:22.

can't be tired. You've got to bring 100% every night. If they don't do

:03:22.:03:26.

that, they're in the wrong business. This is where it counts. Yes.

:03:26.:03:31.

Now Will you've played stadiums, toured the world, how are you

:03:31.:03:36.

feeling about performing in The Voice arena? Hmmm... Let's see. No,

:03:36.:03:43.

I'm really, really looking forward to this. I told my team when we

:03:43.:03:48.

were hanging out a couple days ago, let's treat this as our big moment,

:03:48.:03:53.

our big show. Like, let's pretend we're in a group. I know what it

:03:53.:03:56.

feels like to be in a group with four people. Pretend that this is a

:03:56.:04:03.

group of five. And we are about to go out there and stay alive. I just

:04:03.:04:08.

had a rhyme, that was bad. Thank you very much Will. I can't wait

:04:08.:04:13.

for that later on. Team Danny and Team Jessie are there. Have you

:04:13.:04:18.

recovered from last week? Yeah! They're looking good. You need to

:04:18.:04:22.

watch carefully as you'll be back here next week. It's a big night

:04:22.:04:26.

for Team Tom and Team Will, which means we have some very excited but

:04:26.:04:29.

shaky singers back stage in the V Room. Guys, are you ready? How are

:04:29.:04:34.

you feeling? They're looking good. That is where I'll be with the

:04:34.:04:38.

teams before and after their performances. Remember you can

:04:38.:04:42.

advise, comment and critique. Go to our website and comment on the blog.

:04:42.:04:50.

Or say what you think on our official Facebook page. First up

:04:50.:04:58.

from Team Tom it's Leanne. The first live show was incredible.

:04:58.:05:03.

Leanne took on a song that was out of her comfort song. I was thinking

:05:03.:05:09.

like, oh, God I'm going to have to pull it out of the bag for this one.

:05:09.:05:18.

But she did it and ripped it. It was perfect. Yes! This week she's

:05:18.:05:24.

singing Put A Spell On You. Then you do what you do. I sung this

:05:24.:05:28.

probably about nine or ten years ago. My husband, when we were

:05:28.:05:31.

boyfriend and girlfriend, we had split up for a little while. I find

:05:31.:05:35.

it really hard to sing because it choked you up. It's always

:05:35.:05:40.

interesting to hear what the singer feels when she is singing that song.

:05:40.:05:44.

We're married now, so it's fine. I met my husband just over ten years

:05:44.:05:48.

ago at the holiday resort where we both work. I met Leanne when she

:05:48.:05:53.

was in one of the shows. I saw her singing and thought "Wow, who's

:05:53.:05:58.

that?" Every time it gives me goose bumps when I hear her. I know I

:05:58.:06:01.

have a lot of support at the resort. It was great to go back and see

:06:01.:06:05.

everyone. I don't think you realise how much

:06:05.:06:10.

we actually miss you. Stop it. Leanne is so good. You wouldn't

:06:10.:06:14.

believe that someone like her would be working at a holiday resort.

:06:14.:06:19.

Everybody here is making sure that each guest that leaves is in full

:06:19.:06:22.

support of Leanne. She's been singing at this holiday park, she's

:06:22.:06:25.

had a lot of experience there. But now it's time to move into the big

:06:26.:06:29.

time. This weekend two people have to go home, if you sing it like

:06:29.:06:33.

that, I don't think you'll have any trouble. Thank you. Singing Put A

:06:33.:06:43.
:06:43.:06:43.

Apology for the loss of subtitles for 73 seconds

:06:43.:07:57.

# The way you're always # Oh, you better stop

:07:57.:08:07.
:08:07.:08:07.

Apology for the loss of subtitles for 73 seconds

:08:07.:09:03.

# And I don't care Ladies and gentleman, let's hear it

:09:03.:09:11.

for Leanne! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Well done. Wow, I think some of

:09:11.:09:15.

those notes, you've cast a spell on the whole audience. Did you enjoy

:09:15.:09:21.

that? Yeah. Oh, my God, yes, thank you. That was ridiculously good.

:09:22.:09:25.

The coaches are on their feet. That's pressure. She just opened

:09:25.:09:30.

the show. Later she's performing with you. It doesn't affect her.

:09:30.:09:36.

well, it only becomes pressure if you can't handle it. She can

:09:36.:09:42.

definitely handle it. APPLAUSE

:09:42.:09:46.

Leanne opened the show, but she could close the show. She could do

:09:46.:09:49.

anything she wants to because she has such a fantastic voice. When

:09:49.:09:54.

she started she was lacking a little confidence, well, she's got

:09:54.:10:03.

that. Oh, yeah. She's winning right there. Plenty of confidence. Danny?

:10:03.:10:07.

When you first started, I'm sure everybody felt the same, you were

:10:08.:10:12.

looking right at me, I was oh, my God stop looking at me. She was

:10:12.:10:18.

looking at me. She was looking at me! Fisty cuffs at dawn. Genuinely,

:10:18.:10:24.

you cast a spell right over me. I was here the whole performance. I

:10:24.:10:27.

know you had confidence issues but they're all gone now. What a way to

:10:28.:10:37.
:10:38.:10:40.

open the show. Will, let's come to you? Are you Spelbound?

:10:40.:10:46.

# She put a spell on me # Really, you really put a spell on

:10:46.:10:50.

me, I was like, those riffs and runs you were doing - wow. Out of

:10:50.:10:55.

this world. Thank you Will. You know what's so

:10:56.:10:59.

nice, I remember when we saw you in the blind auditions and your

:10:59.:11:05.

control was like, your head voice to your chest belt was really

:11:05.:11:08.

different. Now it's so smooth and that was my favourite performance

:11:09.:11:14.

from you by far so far. Fantastic comments. You've got to

:11:14.:11:18.

be pleased. Yeah, I'm really pleased, thank you. Well done you.

:11:18.:11:26.

It's Leanne! APPLAUSE

:11:26.:11:30.

Next up from Team Will, it's Frances.

:11:30.:11:35.

The first artist saved is... Frances Wood. I genuinely thought I

:11:35.:11:40.

were going to be in the bottom two. It's amazing to know that people

:11:40.:11:46.

cared enough to pick up the phone. It did make me feel a bit like a

:11:46.:11:51.

superstar. Dancing with boys oh, aye. You got a little comfortable

:11:51.:11:56.

with the boys there. I felt like they fancied me. I don't know.

:11:56.:12:05.

so proud. It's the best experience I've had in my life so far.

:12:05.:12:09.

Everyone has been so supportive. If you live in Wakefield, there's a

:12:09.:12:13.

good chance you will have met Rob and Donna, my mum and dad. I'm her

:12:13.:12:18.

number one fan. I like to give her the best support we can. Wouldn't

:12:18.:12:23.

hand a few of these out for us. tell everyone about Frances on The

:12:23.:12:28.

Voice. My mum and dad won't rest those posters are all round the

:12:28.:12:33.

city. You couldn't do us a favour and put these up around college.

:12:33.:12:38.

the dog could give out posters, he'd be doing it too. Thanks to mum

:12:38.:12:42.

and dad this weekend I don't only have to make Will proud, but the

:12:42.:12:48.

whole of Yorkshire proud. Good luck Frances. Boom, check me out, I'm

:12:49.:12:57.

Frances. Frances is having fun. She surprises me. Anything you put her

:12:57.:13:02.

up against, she come was it. You sound great. I wanted to do this

:13:02.:13:05.

performance and people to just enjoy it. Mum and dad will be there.

:13:05.:13:09.

They will be dancing. I don't just want them to be dancing. I'm hoping

:13:09.:13:13.

I can get the whole place dancing. Next up from Team Will, it's

:13:13.:13:23.
:13:23.:13:38.

# Whoa, whoa, whoa # Heartbreaks and promises

:13:38.:13:48.
:13:48.:13:54.

# What I need is somebody who really cares

:13:54.:14:02.

# I really need a lover A lover that wants to be there

:14:02.:14:09.

# So, baby, if you want me

:14:09.:14:13.

# Hey-hey! You've got to show me love

:14:13.:14:18.

# Words are so easy to say

:14:18.:14:21.

# Oh, yeah, yeah You've got to show me love

:14:22.:14:25.

# Show me love

:14:25.:14:27.

# You've got to give it to me Give it to me, Give it to me, yeah

:14:28.:14:31.

# Whoo-ah!

:14:31.:14:35.

# I'm tired of getting caught up in those one-night affairs

:14:35.:14:41.

# What I really need is somebody who will always be there

:14:41.:14:50.

# So, baby, if you want me

:14:50.:14:53.

# Hey-hey! You've got to show me love

:14:53.:14:58.

# Words are so easy to say All right, yeah

:14:58.:15:03.

# You've got to show me love

:15:03.:15:06.

# So, baby, if you want me

:15:06.:15:09.

# Hey-hey You've got to show me love

:15:09.:15:15.

# Words are so easy to say All right, yeah

:15:16.:15:18.

# You've got to show me love

:15:18.:15:21.

# And show me love. #

:15:21.:15:23.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:15:23.:15:32.

Let's

:15:32.:15:32.

Let's hear

:15:32.:15:32.

Let's hear if

:15:32.:15:38.

Let's hear if for Frances! APPLAUSE

:15:38.:15:45.

What a tune. I loved that. Well done you. Thank you. I don't know

:15:45.:15:50.

whether it's hello Wembley, but hello Wakefield! So much support

:15:50.:15:54.

for you. Does that feel good? amazing. The whole of the north has

:15:54.:15:58.

been like so supportive, posters and everywhere really. You don't

:15:58.:16:02.

think people care that much. It's amazing, yeah. One of your biggest

:16:02.:16:08.

supporters is stood up there. Will, let's come to you first.

:16:08.:16:12.

APPLAUSE I thought you did great. You held

:16:12.:16:16.

it down. You were strong. Every note was amazing. It was youthful.

:16:16.:16:23.

It was lots of energy. You did me proud. Awesome. Thank you. Jessie?

:16:23.:16:27.

I think you did a really good job. I think it was, I would have liked

:16:27.:16:32.

to hear it even higher than that. I think your voice can handle that. I

:16:32.:16:36.

would like to have heard it maybe in a higher key. I'd like to see

:16:36.:16:39.

you sing stuff that's more up there. It was very comfortable. It was

:16:39.:16:43.

nice, but I think you can take more risk. You did a really good job of

:16:43.:16:46.

making that song, current now and I'm loving the whole look, thing.

:16:46.:16:54.

It's cool. Can you go up there? I'll give it a try. I want to,

:16:54.:16:59.

that's why I'm here to push myself. Exactly, 100%. Tom, there was a big

:16:59.:17:03.

old light show in the background. Did she have a big voice to match?

:17:03.:17:09.

Oh, yes. But I mean she could get up with just a torch to light it

:17:09.:17:13.

you know. There were parts there that looked a bit like Star Wars.

:17:14.:17:19.

There again, you know, she's the Princess Leia and the force was

:17:19.:17:25.

with you. And Danny, let's come to you

:17:25.:17:32.

finally. OK, you've got Frances, she prances, she dances, she takes

:17:32.:17:40.

some chances (as will.i.am) APPLAUSE

:17:40.:17:45.

I'm not going to lie, I didn't think it was your best performance

:17:45.:17:49.

vokally. I thought the staging was brilliant. Your stage presence as

:17:49.:17:52.

well. You could come out a little bit more. But the growth I've seen

:17:52.:17:56.

so far working with Will has been great. Again, I don't know if that

:17:56.:17:59.

was enough to gept you into the next part, but it was a great

:17:59.:18:04.

performance. Well done you. You look beautiful.

:18:04.:18:07.

Let's hear it one more time for Frances.

:18:07.:18:13.

APPLAUSE From the blind auditions to the

:18:13.:18:17.

battles to the live shows, with each stage of this competition, the

:18:17.:18:20.

teams face new challenges. Luckily they have their coaches and

:18:20.:18:24.

incredible live band to support them. Using only music can you tell

:18:24.:18:31.

me how you're feeling? MUSIC: Ice Ice Baby

:18:31.:18:35.

Under pressure. You should try being our artists tonight. Thank

:18:35.:18:42.

you. Next up from Team Tom it's Matt and Sueleen.

:18:42.:18:45.

Wow. Performing on the live show, it's about as good as it gets.

:18:45.:18:49.

Loved every minute of being up there.

:18:49.:18:54.

Their elation didn't last for long. It was really hard being in the

:18:54.:18:58.

bottom two, standing next to Sam. I was like, man we don't have a

:18:58.:19:02.

chance here. There's that big pause before he says who he's going

:19:02.:19:07.

choose, it's like the world stands still. I think I'm going to take

:19:07.:19:12.

Matt and Sueleen. Then he said our names. It was like being hit by a

:19:12.:19:17.

brick. A nice brick. A Tom-shaped brick. It was lovely. You want to

:19:17.:19:21.

prove to him he's made the right decision. It adds to the pressure.

:19:21.:19:25.

After the trauma of the live show, it was nice going back to

:19:25.:19:35.
:19:35.:19:37.

Canterbury. Before, it would be like, "Gand alf. "Now it's like

:19:37.:19:40.

"All right mate." We have massive support from family and friends.

:19:41.:19:47.

They're so proud. This week they're singing a song called Missing.

:19:47.:19:54.

We've taken a song and put our own slight slant on it. It sounds very

:19:54.:19:57.

different now. I think what's happened now because you've changed

:19:57.:20:02.

the arm niz, that they're clashing against some of the chords. In

:20:02.:20:07.

order to get that song across you can't go too far from the original

:20:07.:20:12.

structure of the song. It still has to be audience friendly. This week

:20:12.:20:16.

they go from four acts to two, we really need to connect more with

:20:16.:20:20.

the audience. If you work on that a little bit more, ufr won't have any

:20:20.:20:24.

problems. Let's hope so. Singing for your votes with Missing, it's

:20:24.:20:34.
:20:34.:20:47.

# It's years since # And now you've disappeared

:20:47.:20:57.
:20:57.:21:35.

# You've found yourself # And now you've disappeared

:21:35.:21:45.
:21:45.:22:12.

# You've found yourself # Yeah

:22:12.:22:22.
:22:22.:22:33.

Let's hear it for Matt and Sueleen. APPLAUSE

:22:33.:22:40.

You go that side. Well done. How was that? Was there more pressure

:22:40.:22:43.

on you? Last time you were in the bottom two. Coming out again

:22:43.:22:47.

tonight, there's a lot riding on this. Yeah, I can feel Sueleen

:22:47.:22:51.

shaking right now. I'm not much better. It must have been odd, for

:22:51.:22:54.

the first time you weren't stood next to each other, in fact you

:22:54.:22:57.

didn't look at each other, did that change things? It's a really good

:22:57.:23:01.

test to see if we can work with each other back-to-back and I think

:23:01.:23:09.

that we can do that. It worked. Let's come to Tom first of all.

:23:09.:23:11.

Everybody talks about their harmonies and how tight they are,

:23:11.:23:17.

did it work tonight? I think so, definitely. They take chances.

:23:17.:23:20.

APPLAUSE You know they flipped it, they

:23:20.:23:25.

flipped the song. They made it their own. Those harmonies are not

:23:25.:23:28.

easy. I've done duets myself with numerous people...

:23:29.:23:34.

LAUGHTER Oh, really? Aretha Franklin...

:23:34.:23:42.

a few. Gladys Knight. Me! And you too! The harmonies are fantastic. I

:23:42.:23:47.

wouldn't have been brave enough to try harmonies like that. You should

:23:47.:23:54.

be applauded for that alone. We can do that. Danny? For me personally,

:23:54.:23:58.

harmony to me is all about connecting. I personally found it a

:23:58.:24:01.

bit strange that you weren't looking at each other considering

:24:01.:24:05.

that is your bond. You're so strong together. I don't know if that took

:24:05.:24:08.

a bit away, because some of the harmonies were a little bit offment

:24:08.:24:11.

it is a difficult song to kind of pick out the third on top. But

:24:11.:24:16.

again, you guys take chances. You came in and made that song your own,

:24:16.:24:19.

it's your own version. I have to commend you on that. Well done.

:24:19.:24:29.
:24:29.:24:30.

Will? You guys just proved that you know, the kind of group that you

:24:31.:24:35.

guys are, it's like I would love to hear more from you guys, if you tok

:24:35.:24:42.

a song and exist and made it sound like it's your own music, that was

:24:42.:24:47.

amazing. Two, it looked amazing. I don't know whose idea it was to sit

:24:47.:24:54.

on a park bench. Whose idea was that? I have no idea. I think back

:24:54.:24:59.

stage. That was amazing. It looked amazing, like straight from, I

:24:59.:25:04.

thought it was like a Harry Potter moment, it was really just, it

:25:04.:25:10.

looked fantastic. Tom said my team, Frances looked like Star Wars. That

:25:10.:25:14.

was... That's old school like Lord of the Rings. I think Tom had a

:25:14.:25:24.

hand as well. I'm still trying to make my mind up on how I feel about

:25:24.:25:28.

that, to be honest. I think it was great. I loved the fact it was such

:25:28.:25:32.

a risk. Buff I don't know if it showed you off to your full

:25:32.:25:36.

potential. I feel like harmonies like that haven't really been done

:25:36.:25:39.

a lot before. It was nice to hear that. It was refreshing. I kind of

:25:39.:25:44.

agree with Danny, it was weird that you weren't. I think it's great for

:25:44.:25:47.

like a music video, but for this, I want to see that connection that

:25:47.:25:52.

you have. I think the reason why that happened was because the

:25:52.:25:55.

lyrical content of the song, about not seeing the person there, so we

:25:55.:26:02.

tried to separate it and give a dream-like quality. I totally saw

:26:02.:26:08.

that. Because the lyrics said "I miss you like a desert misses the

:26:08.:26:13.

rain." The story has an ending. I was expecting an ending. Due want a

:26:13.:26:22.

kiss Danny? No. The last word was "Like the desert misses the rain".

:26:22.:26:28.

They were separated like that, when did you last see the rain in the

:26:28.:26:37.

desert. Thank you so much, off they APPLAUSE

:26:37.:26:45.

Next up from Team Will it's Joelle. When I was up there on that stage,

:26:45.:26:51.

I absolutely felt I belonged there. If she keeps doing performances

:26:52.:26:57.

like this, we're going to pay a lot of money to see this girl. Despite

:26:57.:27:01.

such high praise, Joelle found herself in the bottom two. My heart

:27:01.:27:05.

felt it was breaking. This is the hardest thing. I couldn't believe

:27:05.:27:11.

it could be ending right now. going to take Joelle. She has

:27:11.:27:15.

everything it takes for the public to vote for her. Given the correct

:27:15.:27:18.

opportunity I think the public will be wowed by her. There's a song

:27:18.:27:28.
:27:28.:27:31.

that means so much to me, called I Surrender by Celine Dion. I like

:27:31.:27:35.

that song. You sing is wonderfully. But we're in a battle. Do you that

:27:35.:27:41.

I that's the one to knock people out? My coaching tactics make her

:27:41.:27:44.

realise that song selection is the most important thing. Figure out

:27:44.:27:48.

why you didn't connect and if I sing that, am I going to make the

:27:48.:27:55.

same mistake again? Having taken on board Will's concerns, Joelle

:27:55.:28:00.

returns to rehearsals with a new song. I can't see myself on stage

:28:00.:28:05.

singing a song that you've told me you don't like. I'm singing

:28:05.:28:10.

Stronger. It's up tempo, that's dope. You like it better? Oh, yeah

:28:10.:28:17.

like a billion times. I am so happy that me and Will are on the same

:28:17.:28:24.

page. Now all I need to concentrate on is giving a great performance.

:28:24.:28:34.
:28:34.:28:36.

# You know the bed feels warmer # You know I sleep in colour

:28:36.:28:44.

# Think you got the best of me Think you've had the last laugh

:28:45.:28:50.

# Bet you think that everything good is gone

:28:50.:28:53.

# Think you left me broken down Think that I'd come running back

:28:53.:28:58.

# Baby, you don't know me cos you're dead wrong

:28:58.:29:01.

# What doesn't kill you makes me stronger

:29:01.:29:05.

# Stand a little taller

:29:05.:29:07.

# Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone

:29:07.:29:11.

# What doesn't kill you makes a fighter

:29:11.:29:13.

# Footsteps even lighter

:29:13.:29:16.

# Doesn't mean I'm over cos you're gone

:29:16.:29:19.

# What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, stronger

:29:19.:29:24.

# Just me, myself and I

:29:24.:29:28.

# Thanks to you I got a new thing started

:29:28.:29:33.

# Thanks to you I'm not the broken-hearted

:29:33.:29:37.

# Thanks to you I'm finally thinking 'bout me

:29:37.:29:41.

# You know in the end, the day you left was just my beginning

:29:41.:29:47.

# What doesn't kill you makes you stronger

:29:47.:29:55.

# Fighter

:29:55.:30:01.

# Whoo-hoo-hoo

:30:01.:30:04.

# No, no, no, no

:30:04.:30:06.

# Stronger, stronger

:30:06.:30:10.

# Just me, myself and I

:30:10.:30:13.

# Oh-oh-oh-oh

:30:13.:30:18.

# Oh-oh-oh-oh

:30:18.:30:22.

# What doesn't kill you makes you stronger! #

:30:22.:30:24.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:30:25.:30:34.
:30:35.:30:36.

Let's

:30:36.:30:36.

Let's hear

:30:37.:30:37.

Let's hear it

:30:37.:30:47.
:30:47.:30:47.

Let's hear it for Joelle! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Wow, talk about life

:30:47.:30:50.

imitating art. You were in the bottom two before then you came out

:30:50.:30:57.

like that, well done. Thank you. Thank you guys. You're a great

:30:57.:31:01.

audience. Not just the audience are enjoying it. Will you were pulling

:31:01.:31:06.

some moves. I tell you why. He's loving it. I'm taking this real

:31:06.:31:13.

serious. Like, when we go out and tour and we do a festival, I check

:31:13.:31:17.

to see what the other bands are doing to see what their stage

:31:17.:31:22.

presence is like. Then I go back to tell our crew to amp it up. A lot

:31:22.:31:27.

of times like, your voice is great. There's not much I can do to help

:31:27.:31:31.

you get your voice even better than it is. When it comes to stage

:31:31.:31:35.

designing and lights, that's why I asked did you have anything to do

:31:35.:31:38.

with stage selection. Because I make sure the camera blocking is

:31:38.:31:42.

right, make sure your face is up there, oh, I want her face at the

:31:42.:31:44.

top and the lights and the splashes and explosions.

:31:44.:31:48.

APPLAUSE Like that! I get into it, man. I

:31:48.:31:54.

get into it. I get into it. We can tell. Yes. You know what, after

:31:54.:31:59.

that little thing, what just happened. You going, woo-hoo.

:31:59.:32:03.

you see the explosions she said # Stronger #

:32:03.:32:09.

And it was like, do, do, do, do. APPLAUSE

:32:09.:32:14.

You know what, I'm just excited, that was great, vokally great. I

:32:14.:32:18.

feel like the performance like I just want to see you let go more.

:32:18.:32:24.

Let go, there were explosions! but, all right. But I just want you

:32:24.:32:30.

to look your voice is amazing. It's great. But I can't wait to see what

:32:30.:32:34.

you're going to do later with your team. You don't know. I got

:32:34.:32:38.

explosions coming out of my ears. I'm going to be singing like...

:32:38.:32:45.

can't wait for that. Tom? She was a fighter tonight. Definitely. She

:32:45.:32:50.

reminded me of Mohammed Ali. Mohammed Ali. He sung with Mohammed

:32:50.:32:54.

Ali! LAUGHTER

:32:54.:32:58.

No, you're strong. You might have felt down because you were in the

:32:58.:33:05.

bottom two. But like Ali, you can go down but not out. You came out

:33:05.:33:07.

here tonight... APPLAUSE

:33:07.:33:13.

Thank you Tom. Danny? You know, I kind of agree with Jessie, if you

:33:13.:33:17.

had started as well as you finished, it would have been a flawless

:33:17.:33:20.

performance. It was shaky to start off with. Again, like Will,

:33:20.:33:23.

congratulations you know, it was a great job. He took everything that

:33:23.:33:27.

I did last week in our team and applied it to his own. Thank you

:33:27.:33:34.

Danny. I'm glad he went with staging and couraging. It was a

:33:34.:33:37.

brilliant effort. Cracked on a couple of the high notes, all in

:33:37.:33:42.

all it was great. You didn't crack. Give it up for Joelle!

:33:42.:33:47.

APPLAUSE The lines open later in the show,

:33:47.:33:50.

remember only the artists with the most public votes in each team will

:33:50.:33:54.

be guaranteed a place in the semi- finals. Let's get some of your

:33:54.:33:59.

thoughts and theirs in the V Room. Now apart from our amazing artists,

:33:59.:34:04.

the most talked about topic online is our own Holly Willoguhby. You Go

:34:04.:34:09.

Girl. I won't say that again. Team Tom and Will have got the evening

:34:09.:34:13.

started. You can't relax too much because you're performing with your

:34:13.:34:17.

coaches soon. Leanne, you opened the show. What did it feel like on

:34:17.:34:22.

what is the biggest night of your singing career so far? Yeah, it is!

:34:22.:34:25.

I was really worried about going first. Because you just like,

:34:25.:34:29.

you're not sure what to expect, like let it build up a bit. It was

:34:29.:34:32.

all right. It's the first time they've all stood up. That's cool.

:34:32.:34:37.

In the a bad reaction. A few weeks ago you were a girl from Wakefield.

:34:37.:34:41.

Today, you're kind of still a girl from Wakefield, but one who's going

:34:41.:34:45.

to sing with will.i.am later on. Did you ever imagine something that

:34:45.:34:50.

amazing would happen to you? the time! No, I'm joking. No, it's

:34:50.:34:52.

amazing, like, you never think something like that's going to

:34:52.:34:57.

happen. The fact it is, he tells us enjoy it. It makes you feel really

:34:58.:35:03.

fun. You get to see us in these numbers as well. Green looks good.

:35:03.:35:06.

Brings out of cheekbones. I don't know what I'm talking about! Now

:35:06.:35:10.

the pressure must be definitely on. Obviously, you are One Show away

:35:10.:35:14.

from getting to the semi-finals, how do you feel about it? I try not

:35:14.:35:19.

to think about. It I try to focus on getting the job done. It's just

:35:19.:35:22.

such high pressure. There's a million things going through your

:35:22.:35:26.

head. You have to blank it out and just give it everything you've got.

:35:26.:35:30.

Then if you do your best, that's all you can do. You're fantastic.

:35:30.:35:35.

And it's Joelle! Give me a cuddle. It happened in rehearsal, just

:35:35.:35:39.

caught myself on your shoulder blade. It's a weapon. You've been

:35:39.:35:43.

in the bottom two before, but you got amazing feet back that time.

:35:43.:35:46.

How do you feel? Great. I feel happy with that performance. I've

:35:46.:35:50.

got everything crossed. Nice. Thank you very much. And good luck to

:35:50.:35:55.

everyone. You can connect directly to The Voice. Keep the comments

:35:55.:36:00.

coming in. Sorry, thank you very much! We all know that artists can

:36:00.:36:05.

sing live to millions, but can they do it with an established star?

:36:05.:36:09.

This is what I'm talking about. This week away from the arena Tom

:36:09.:36:14.

and Will have been giving a new meaning to hands-on coaching.

:36:14.:36:18.

Because tonight, Will, Tom and their teams are giving us unique

:36:18.:36:23.

performances. Those global superstars will sing side by side

:36:23.:36:28.

with artists hoping to follow in their footsteps. Can the teams hold

:36:28.:36:33.

their own with two legends? The coaches, the teams - together,

:36:34.:36:39.

tonight! Yeah, you heard, later in the show Tom and Will are joining

:36:39.:36:45.

their teams for two amazing group performances. I cannot wait. Right

:36:45.:36:48.

now singing slowlyo from Team Tom it's Ruth.

:36:48.:36:57.

-- solo. Ruth Brown has an incredible voice. The live

:36:57.:37:03.

performance I thought she did a hell of a job. I was expecting the

:37:03.:37:12.

audience just to like it. I didn't realise they'd like it that much.

:37:12.:37:19.

If you were being judged on applause, you would win. Ruth, how

:37:19.:37:24.

are you darling? Feeling good? This week I'm singing Next To Me by

:37:24.:37:30.

Emeli Sande. After her performance on the show, Ruth took the

:37:30.:37:35.

opportunity to catch up back stage. How are you? Fine. It was good

:37:35.:37:38.

speaking to Emeli Sande. Remember why you're singing it and what the

:37:38.:37:44.

lyrics mean. She gave me good advice. Nice to meet you. How are

:37:44.:37:49.

you feeling about the song? Excited. I've got a few ideas. I've noticed

:37:49.:37:56.

a change in Ruth. She has more confidence. I wanted to have three

:37:56.:38:00.

backing singers. He'll go bang, bang, bang and it builds to the

:38:01.:38:08.

chorus. The show's given me confidence to try new things.

:38:08.:38:16.

feel fantastic for Ruth because she's getting stronger every day. I

:38:16.:38:19.

thought that was great. Are you happy? Yeah, I feel lick a musician

:38:19.:38:25.

now. I don't feel like a singer any more. -- I feel like a musician now.

:38:25.:38:30.

I don't feel like a singer any more. Singing for your votes with Next To

:38:30.:38:37.

# You won't find him # Rolling dice

:38:37.:38:47.

# You won't ever find him being unfaithful

:38:47.:38:51.

# You will find him You'll find him next to me

:38:51.:38:57.

# You won't find him trying to chase the devil

:38:57.:39:01.

# For money, fame, for power Out of grief

:39:01.:39:06.

# You won't ever find him where the rest go

:39:06.:39:11.

# You will find him You'll find him next to me

:39:11.:39:16.

# Next to me, oo-ooh Next to me, oo-ooh

:39:16.:39:25.

# Next to me, oo-ooh

:39:25.:39:31.

# Yes, you'll find him You'll find him next to me

:39:31.:39:36.

# When the money's gone and all my friends have vanished

:39:36.:39:41.

# And I can't seem to find no love or help for free

:39:41.:39:45.

# And you'll find him next to me

:40:10.:40:15.

# Next to me, oo-ooh Next to me

:40:15.:40:25.

# Oh, baby, yeah Next to me Baby, o-oh

:40:25.:40:30.

# Oh you'll find him You'll find him next to me. #

:40:30.:40:36.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:40:36.:40:46.
:40:46.:40:48.

Ladies

:40:48.:40:48.

Ladies and

:40:48.:40:48.

Ladies and gentleman,

:40:48.:40:58.
:40:58.:41:02.

Ladies and gentleman, Ruth Brown! Listen to that. CHEERING AND

:41:02.:41:09.

APPLAUSE Wow! Wow, wow, wow. Something happened to you this week,

:41:09.:41:12.

didn't it? You were in control. You were saying I want this, I want

:41:12.:41:18.

that. Are you feeling more comfortable and more confident?

:41:18.:41:24.

Well, I'm just embracing what I love doing and just sharing my

:41:24.:41:29.

ideas with Tom and he just happens to like them, so we worked together.

:41:29.:41:36.

It's just a joy to hear you sing. Tom, are you all right? Yeah.

:41:36.:41:44.

CHEERING When I hear Ruth sing, I get choked

:41:44.:41:49.

up. So we're going to be singing later today and I hope that I don't

:41:49.:41:55.

get choked up too much so I'll be able to do it. I've sung with a lot

:41:55.:41:56.

of people and... LAUGHTER

:41:56.:42:03.

I have! And I've heard some amazing voices throughout my career, but

:42:03.:42:07.

this girl has got something that I have never, ever heard before in my

:42:07.:42:16.

life! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Danny? Take it in.

:42:16.:42:26.
:42:26.:42:30.

That's for you. I didn't even hear. As Tom said, we know, he's sung

:42:30.:42:33.

with legends. I believe you're going to go down on one. All the

:42:33.:42:37.

hair on my hands, even my hair up here is standing on end. Every time

:42:37.:42:40.

you sing I'm the same. You're the reason why, again, I got involved

:42:41.:42:47.

in this show to find people just like you. Give it up!

:42:47.:42:56.

CHEERING . Amazing. Will? So...

:42:56.:42:59.

LAUGHTER You sing incredible, right, we all

:42:59.:43:05.

know that, like wow. And each time you sing, each time you perform

:43:05.:43:11.

again it gets better and better, to the point where the stage seems so

:43:11.:43:15.

boring, because you sing, you don't need explosions right. You don't.

:43:16.:43:23.

But when you was like... If you put some missiles and stuff coming out,

:43:23.:43:26.

I would like to design that for you, you know what I'm saying. Don't you

:43:27.:43:34.

start. A whole power ranger theme. I was like missiles. That would be

:43:34.:43:44.
:43:44.:43:44.

out of this world. Does she need that? No, you don't. I don't know

:43:44.:43:48.

if everyone heard, you said "I'm embracing what I love. That's what

:43:48.:43:55.

I'm seeing. That's a joy. How old are you, like 17, 18? 20. Oh, well!

:43:55.:44:02.

Sorry. She just turned 20. Missiles! Stop it. I know, I'm here

:44:02.:44:10.

as well. Come on Will. Go on Jessie. You know what it's so nice to see

:44:10.:44:14.

you exploring your voice, like the way you're using it and you're a

:44:14.:44:18.

soul singer. Like you go to church and you see people sing like you

:44:18.:44:24.

and it's from within. Honestly, as Will said... I'm just going to stop,

:44:24.:44:30.

because I've had a moment. You just make me so like... Tremendous. Irk

:44:30.:44:40.
:44:40.:44:42.

I hope that Emili Sunday, Sunday? Yes. Emeli Sande. Sunday,

:44:42.:44:49.

Saturday... She was on and a great singer herself. Ruth takes it

:44:49.:44:53.

somewhere else. I hope she was watching tonight. She is a special

:44:53.:44:56.

girl. They're going to raze this roof when I say this, Ruth, off you

:44:56.:45:06.
:45:06.:45:09.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE This weekend, Tom and will.i.am must say goodbye

:45:09.:45:12.

to two artists. It's up to you to get behind your favourites from

:45:12.:45:16.

each team. You'll find out who stays and who goes on Sunday's

:45:16.:45:24.

Results Show. Next up from Team Will, it's Tyler.

:45:24.:45:29.

Tyler proved that he's a headliner. The first live show was so

:45:29.:45:32.

nervewracking, at the same time, you realise just how lucky you are

:45:32.:45:38.

to be there. I do believe you're an artist. You're really strong.

:45:38.:45:45.

was relly, really special moment for me. I am singing Sign Your Name

:45:45.:45:49.

by Terence Trent D'Arby. It's probably one of my favourite songs

:45:49.:45:54.

ever. How are you feeling? Nervous as always, but... What are you

:45:54.:45:58.

nervous about? I feel the pressure and I get nervous. I just do.

:45:58.:46:02.

fear your nerves. It's cool to be nervous, that just means you're

:46:02.:46:05.

alive. It's because it means so much to me that I don't want to

:46:05.:46:10.

mess it up. Fergie was starting her solo project. She was really

:46:10.:46:15.

nervous. I was like, well, pretend everybody is your best friend.

:46:15.:46:19.

horrible to go through nerves every time before I go on. If I could

:46:19.:46:22.

skip them all together, then I would. The worst that's going to

:46:22.:46:26.

happen is you mess up. You're singing and snot comes down your

:46:26.:46:29.

nose. We know that's not going to happen. My friends are really

:46:29.:46:33.

important to me. They're very good at keeping me calm. So, I just try

:46:33.:46:38.

to spend as much time with them as possible. This experience, so far,

:46:38.:46:41.

it's already starting to change my life. It's the first time in ages

:46:41.:46:45.

that I can genuinely say that I feel happy. I don't know what Tyler

:46:45.:46:49.

was like before the competition, but something tells me that Tyler

:46:49.:46:55.

is Tyler again. When I go out on stage, I'll take all of Will's

:46:55.:46:58.

advice and I will imagine that everyone's my friend and everyone's

:46:58.:47:06.

there to support me. Hopefully people will feel that too.

:47:06.:47:16.
:47:16.:47:28.

Apology for the loss of subtitles for 73 seconds

:48:29.:49:25.

Ladies and gentleman, let's hear it for Tyler! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:49:25.:49:31.

Well done. I love the choir of Tyler behind you. Did you enjoy

:49:31.:49:37.

that? Yeah, I was really nervous. You just do not show it. Are you

:49:37.:49:46.

feeling better now? Yes. Let's come to Will. You're a true, like,

:49:46.:49:50.

you're an artist man. Like working with you in rehearsal and hanging

:49:50.:49:54.

with you and the way you work out your nerves, if you were nervous I

:49:54.:49:59.

couldn't tell. The stage looked like art, right. Sign Your Name

:49:59.:50:04.

across my heart with the flag, representing your country. Your

:50:04.:50:10.

country should be honoured to have a soulful, smooth, fashion singer

:50:10.:50:16.

like you, for real. Amazing. So amazing, so cool.

:50:16.:50:25.

very cool. Very cool. I want to like chill with you. Yeah, I do.

:50:25.:50:31.

Wow. That's a turn up for the book. I'm getting picked on tonight. No,

:50:31.:50:36.

I think your voice is smooth. From last week to this week and I've

:50:36.:50:40.

enjoyed every time you've sung. I would happily buy an album of your

:50:40.:50:45.

voice. It's that. Can you feel those nerves drift ago

:50:45.:50:51.

way now? Yeah. A bit. And let's go out for dinner. Definitely. Jessie,

:50:51.:50:55.

get to the back of the queue! Tom, let's come to you, when you sing a

:50:55.:50:59.

song like that, that everybody knows, you have a tough job to make

:50:59.:51:07.

it your own. Yeah. I've said this before, your falsetto is as strong

:51:07.:51:10.

as your full voice, which is incredible. I have to...

:51:10.:51:20.
:51:20.:51:20.

APPLAUSE After doing a song so well known as

:51:20.:51:24.

that, you didn't do a Terence Trent D'Arby, you did it yourself. Like

:51:24.:51:31.

for instance, when I did Kiss, you know, I heard Prince wrote the song

:51:31.:51:35.

but I didn't try to copy him. Prince did Prince and I did me. You

:51:35.:51:40.

do the same thing when you sing. Thank you, Tom. Doesn't get much

:51:40.:51:46.

better than that. When you're singing in false eto, it's such a

:51:46.:51:50.

pin point sound it's very easy to tell if you go off pitch. It's

:51:50.:51:53.

brave to sing up that high for a whole song. I didn't hear any

:51:54.:51:59.

pitching issues at all. Staging was perfect. The violins, I thought

:51:59.:52:04.

movement attracts attention, a-- attention will attract votes. You

:52:04.:52:10.

have a strong artist there, man. Very strong. All those faces, was

:52:10.:52:15.

that me or you? I think both of us. I can't tell, it's the same hair.

:52:15.:52:18.

Thank you coaches. Tyler, well done you. Off you go.

:52:18.:52:28.

APPLAUSE Next up from Team Tom, it's Adam.

:52:28.:52:33.

The first live show, for me, was crazy, because I was doing a

:52:33.:52:37.

controversial song. It was a risk. He pulled it off. To me, you know,

:52:37.:52:44.

mission accomplished. I was rocking out going yeah boy, yeah. You're so

:52:44.:52:49.

adorable the way you're leaning over to the mic. I blush very

:52:50.:52:58.

easily. So I don't know what to say about that really. Adam's got the

:52:58.:53:02.

whole thing. The girls like the way he looks and sings. The fellas

:53:02.:53:07.

would like to look like that and sing like that. Have you been

:53:07.:53:11.

getting any reaction from the ladies? I had marriage proposals.

:53:11.:53:17.

It goes with the territory. It's very nice that I've had so many

:53:17.:53:24.

great messages from the ladies. I am taken. Sorry about that. He's

:53:24.:53:28.

started getting a lot of female attention. I can understand why. If

:53:28.:53:33.

I wasn't with him, I'd probably have a massive crush on him as well.

:53:33.:53:38.

He's a lovely guy. And he's handsome. I'm lucky to have her

:53:38.:53:42.

there supporting me I'm very proud of Adam. Everybody wants to see him

:53:42.:53:46.

when he come back to Exeter. When I walked in it was like a surprise

:53:46.:53:50.

party. I was worried that I would cry actually. Thanks for coming

:53:50.:53:55.

down everyone. Hopefully they'll like my performance on Saturday

:53:55.:54:02.

night. If the lovely ladies like it too, that would be great.

:54:03.:54:12.
:54:13.:54:25.

# I bet you think that's # Watching all the

:54:25.:54:35.
:54:35.:54:46.

# You'd kill yourself # You're turning into

:54:46.:54:56.
:54:56.:55:03.

# Don't leave me high # Don't leave me high

:55:03.:55:13.
:55:13.:55:18.

# It's the best thing # The best thing that you've

:55:18.:55:25.

# It's the best thing that you've ever had

:55:25.:55:29.

# The best thing you have ever, ever had

:55:29.:55:34.

# Don't leave me high Don't leave me dry

:55:34.:55:44.

# Don't leave me high Don't leave me dry

:55:44.:55:54.
:55:54.:55:54.

# Don't leave me high Don't leave me dry. #

:55:55.:56:04.
:56:05.:56:06.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:56:06.:56:14.

Let's

:56:14.:56:15.

Let's hear

:56:15.:56:15.

Let's hear it

:56:15.:56:22.

Let's hear it for Adam! APPLAUSE

:56:22.:56:28.

Well done. Thank you. How was that? It was cool. Yeah, I enjoyed the

:56:28.:56:34.

song. You enjoyed the song. I think everybody enjoyed you. How many

:56:34.:56:38.

marriage proposals have you had? haven't been counting, but there's

:56:38.:56:43.

been a few. It's very flattering. It seems the ladies-a bit of Adam.

:56:43.:56:45.

Am I right? CHEERING

:56:45.:56:49.

Tom, it seems like you've got competition for the ladies? Yeah,

:56:49.:56:54.

but that's OK. He's a younger version of me. No, but with Adam,

:56:54.:57:02.

he's got a very honest voice. Again, the false eto is as strong as his

:57:02.:57:07.

full voice. I think the girls, some woman would like to mother him.

:57:07.:57:12.

Other women would like to do other things. You know, I think maybe men

:57:12.:57:14.

might envy him for that. But I know the feeling.

:57:14.:57:18.

LAUGHTER More power to you.

:57:18.:57:25.

I love that. Danny? Personally I don't think it was your best

:57:25.:57:32.

performance. When you come into the chorus, that chorus, you need a

:57:32.:57:36.

fearless falsetto. You needed to go higher. It lacked a bit of even

:57:36.:57:39.

emotion or projection. Even if you move closer on the mic it could

:57:39.:57:43.

have stuck out more. I enjoyed it, but I was hoping for a bit more.

:57:44.:57:47.

You know again, I commend you on doing a great choice in song.

:57:47.:57:57.
:57:57.:58:00.

Really good. Will? I thought it was dope. Thanks Will. I don't just say

:58:00.:58:05.

it's dope when I don't mean it. I really take that word seriously.

:58:05.:58:10.

appreciate that very much. Thank you. Yes, siry, let's finish with

:58:10.:58:16.

you. You have a gorgeous tone. Rarely are you pitchy or off tune.

:58:16.:58:20.

That's really nice to hear. I kind of agree with Danny. I felt like

:58:20.:58:24.

you could have given more. You know it's a real big part of the

:58:24.:58:29.

competition now. You have to bring it. We've got to see growth. For me

:58:29.:58:33.

personally, last week you really kind of came forward and this week,

:58:33.:58:38.

I'm just hoping that was enough to keep you here. Did you notice that

:58:38.:58:43.

he took the advice. Yeah I did and how's your arm? It feels better.

:58:43.:58:47.

His voice seems more open. Definitely, up there, much better.

:58:48.:58:51.

I've been experimenting this week. The last song was so weird, so I

:58:51.:58:55.

thought I'd like to come out and sing a nice song. It was really

:58:55.:59:01.

nice. We all love today in here. Coaches, thank you for your

:59:01.:59:07.

comments. Off he goes. It's Adam! APPLAUSE

:59:07.:59:16.

Next up from Team Will it's Jaz. The first live show, if I have to

:59:16.:59:25.

sum up it up -- sum it up in a word it would be unreal. There was this

:59:25.:59:30.

hickory Dickery trictery dock. Sometimes it's a bit middle of the

:59:30.:59:35.

road. His name is Jaz ladies and gentleman. I think I did it well.

:59:35.:59:38.

Definitely the proudest moment of my life so far. It's recently been

:59:38.:59:43.

me and my wife's first anniversary. To add to that, we're having a baby.

:59:43.:59:48.

We're here to hopefully find out the sex of our baby. Let's listen

:59:48.:59:54.

to the heart beating. There you go. That is nuts. There you go, a baby

:59:54.:59:58.

boy. Very happy. That baby scan has put a lot of things in perspective.

:59:59.:00:04.

I'm doing it for little man, I can say that now I know what I'm having.

:00:04.:00:09.

This week I'm doing a mash up of billow Joel's Just The Way You Are

:00:09.:00:16.

the way you are and Bruno Mars too. When you got crazy Jaz skills ain't

:00:16.:00:21.

no such thing as safe. You're a stunt man. Imagine a stunt man

:00:21.:00:24.

playing it safe on the set of Mission Impossible. Ain't going to

:00:24.:00:29.

happen. There's a lot going on in his life. He's getting ready to be

:00:29.:00:33.

a daddy. Singing a song like this, I think he should dedicate it to

:00:33.:00:38.

his wife and new baby coming. That's going to be fresh. When I

:00:38.:00:44.

sing this song, it's going to be sang to her and her alone. I have

:00:44.:00:48.

to step on the stage and give it what I've got. Singing just the way

:00:48.:00:58.
:00:58.:01:00.

# Don't go changing # You never let me down before

:01:00.:01:06.

# I'll take the good times, I'll take the bad times

:01:06.:01:13.

# I'll take you just the way you are

:01:13.:01:23.
:01:23.:01:24.

# When I see your face

:01:24.:01:27.

# There's not a thing that I would change

:01:27.:01:32.

# Cos you're amazing just the way you are

:01:32.:01:39.

# Yeah, yeah

:01:39.:01:41.

# Her eyes, her eyes make the stars look like they're not shining

:01:41.:01:46.

# Her hair, her hair falls perfectly without her trying

:01:46.:01:50.

# She's so beautiful, and I tell her every day, oo-oh

:01:50.:01:57.

# I know, I know when I compliment her she won't believe me

:01:57.:02:03.

# And it's so, it's so sad to think that she don't see

:02:03.:02:06.

# What I see every time she asks, me do I look OK?

:02:06.:02:11.

# I say oh oh

:02:11.:02:14.

# When I see your face

:02:14.:02:17.

# There's not a thing that I would change

:02:17.:02:22.

# Cos you're amazing just the way you are

:02:22.:02:30.

# The way you are The way you are

:02:30.:02:40.
:02:40.:02:43.

# Cos you're amazing Just the way you are. #

:02:43.:02:50.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:02:50.:03:00.
:03:00.:03:01.

Ladies

:03:01.:03:01.

Ladies and

:03:01.:03:01.

Ladies and gentleman,

:03:01.:03:11.
:03:11.:03:12.

Ladies and gentleman, it's Jaz! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Oh, Jaz.

:03:12.:03:18.

First of all, I mean, everybody back stage is crying. That was so

:03:18.:03:22.

beautiful. That was for your wife. I can't imagine how she is feeling

:03:22.:03:26.

at this moment. What do you want to say to her? Happy anniversary. Love

:03:26.:03:33.

you. She's all hormonal and you come out

:03:33.:03:37.

here being cute and lovey-dovey, what are you trying to do. So

:03:37.:03:40.

amazing. Did you enjoy that? Helped having that inspiration? Definitely.

:03:40.:03:44.

I mean, I said to Will this is a hard song, man, this song's going

:03:45.:03:49.

to be a challenge. But you know, when I focused on thinking of her,

:03:49.:03:57.

it just came out. Will, let's come to you.

:03:57.:04:05.

So, I'm going to speak from my heart, so my mum's a single mum.

:04:05.:04:10.

That song by Billy Joel just the way you are, I wish that my mum had

:04:10.:04:14.

someone in her life that she could share life with, that could sing

:04:15.:04:18.

that song to her like you just did her wife, amazing.

:04:18.:04:26.

APPLAUSE Thank you. Jessie? First of all,

:04:26.:04:35.

congratulations. Congratulations. Thank you. The most amazing thing

:04:35.:04:38.

about music is that when someone writes a song, it's mostly personal

:04:38.:04:42.

for them. Then they give it to the world an the world can take it and

:04:42.:04:45.

adapt it to their own lives. That was what was beautiful about that.

:04:45.:04:49.

It was so personal to you and you made it your own about your own

:04:49.:04:53.

life and situation. You know, that was just lovely. That was a lovely

:04:53.:05:00.

way to end the show. It was lovely. Tom? It helps when

:05:00.:05:05.

you have someone in the back of your mind? Yeah, it all depends

:05:05.:05:10.

what kind of song you're singing. If you're singing an up tempo song

:05:10.:05:16.

or a crowd pleasing song, then you work the crowd. When you are

:05:16.:05:20.

singing like Jaz is tonight, I mean, he's thinking about somebody and

:05:20.:05:24.

it's plain, it's his wife, of course. It's plain to see that he

:05:24.:05:29.

has somebody in mind. But he didn't only do that to one person. He did

:05:29.:05:36.

it to the whole audience as well. Specially when he went into the

:05:36.:05:40.

second song. You've got two love songs and you've got two crowd

:05:40.:05:46.

pleasers. So the whole thing is wrapped up into one. You did a won

:05:46.:05:53.

-- wonderful job. Who did you have in the back of your mind when you

:05:53.:05:58.

wrote Sex Bomb? Maybe leave that for later. Honestly, I'm glad you

:05:58.:06:04.

took my advice from last week and that was a fantastic performance. I

:06:04.:06:09.

was here with my book to critique and I left it. I shut my eyes and

:06:10.:06:13.

sat back. You're special, really special. Are you special. More of

:06:13.:06:17.

you with the group performances later on, when all of our teams are

:06:17.:06:20.

singing with their coaches. Jaz, will you go and give your wife a

:06:20.:06:28.

big old kiss for me. Off he goes! APPLAUSE

:06:28.:06:35.

All eight have performed their solo numbers. They're back soon with

:06:35.:06:39.

their coaches for that special group performance. Not to be missed.

:06:39.:06:43.

The job's half done and their night isn't over by a long way.

:06:43.:06:48.

Everyone online is talking about Tyler and Jessie J's dinner date.

:06:48.:06:53.

Both you and the coaches have had plenty to say about performances.

:06:53.:06:57.

Now Ruth you came out of your shell this week, but that reaction was

:06:57.:07:02.

phenomenal. Was it overwhelming on stage hearing such huge applause?

:07:02.:07:06.

enjoyed it. I wanted everyone else to enjoy it too. You did that. You

:07:06.:07:09.

should be proud. Now Tyler, you were talking about feeling happier

:07:09.:07:14.

in the lead up to tonight's performance. On stage, due feel

:07:14.:07:17.

that way? Yeah, this is such an amazing experience. It's changing

:07:17.:07:22.

my life, so yeah, it's making me really happy. Are you taking Jessie

:07:22.:07:25.

on a date any time soon? I don't know. This is suddenly getting very

:07:25.:07:32.

weird isn't it? Yes. Let's move on. Quickly over to Adam. You are

:07:32.:07:35.

moments away from taking the stage with your coach. How are you

:07:35.:07:38.

feeling about that, is that pressure? Yeah, it is. But it's a

:07:38.:07:43.

wonderful thing. If I think about it too much, maybe no sound will

:07:43.:07:47.

come out of my mouth at all. It's Sir Tom Jones! But I'm looking

:07:47.:07:53.

forward it. Me asking you this question is making you more nervous

:07:53.:08:00.

is that what's happen sning That's right, yes. Here's Jaz everyone!

:08:00.:08:05.

Man, you made everyone cry. You made your wife cry. You're a bad

:08:05.:08:09.

person. I'd like to think I'm a good guy, come on man. You made her

:08:09.:08:13.

cry for the right reasons. It was beautiful. Congratulations. You're

:08:13.:08:18.

going to be a daddy and a boy. very excited to have a boy. He will

:08:18.:08:24.

sing better than me. Any chance of calling him Reginald? Erm... That's

:08:24.:08:29.

a no. One more time for Jaz. Good luck to everyone with all of your

:08:30.:08:32.

performances. Tomorrow only four artists will remain in the

:08:32.:08:35.

competition. Remember your questions and comments come direct

:08:35.:08:38.

to us. All the contact details you need are on the screen now. What

:08:38.:08:41.

started off as a big night is about to get bigger. We can't wait any

:08:42.:08:47.

longer. Back to you. I'm so excited too. This weekend

:08:47.:08:51.

two artists from each team must leave. The person with the highest

:08:51.:08:54.

public vote on each team will automatically go through to the

:08:54.:08:58.

semi-finals. It's over to you. The phone lines are now open.

:08:58.:09:08.
:09:08.:09:08.

They will close tonight at 8.15pm. For each vote a min up of 10p goes

:09:08.:09:15.

to the BBC performing arts fund. Don't forget, we're minutes away

:09:15.:09:18.

from seeing will.i.am and Tom Jones singing with their artists on this

:09:18.:09:23.

very stage. Before that, to help you decide here's a reminder of

:09:23.:09:29.

tonight's performances. # Because I love you

:09:29.:09:35.

# I love you # I love you any how

:09:35.:09:40.

# And I don't care if you don't want me

:09:40.:09:50.
:09:50.:09:55.

# I'm yours right now # I put a spell on you

:09:55.:10:05.
:10:05.:10:09.

# Because you're mine # # What I really need is somebody

:10:09.:10:17.

who will always be there # So, baby, if you want me

:10:18.:10:25.

# You've got to show me love # And words are so easy to say

:10:25.:10:32.

# You've got to show me love # So baby, if you want me

:10:32.:10:42.
:10:42.:10:44.

# Hey, your words are so easy to # You've got to show me love

:10:44.:10:51.

# And show me love # # Step off the train

:10:51.:10:58.

# Walking down your street again # Past your door

:10:58.:11:07.

# But you don't live there any more # It's years since you've been

:11:07.:11:09.

there # And now you've disappeared

:11:09.:11:14.

somewhere # Like outer space

:11:14.:11:19.

# Find yourself some better place # And I miss you

:11:19.:11:23.

# Yeah, like the deserts miss the rain

:11:23.:11:33.
:11:33.:11:34.

# And I miss you, yeah # Like the deserts miss the rain #

:11:34.:11:44.
:11:44.:11:46.

# What doesn't kill you makes you stronger

:11:46.:11:53.

# Hoo -hoo, # No, no, no, no

:11:53.:12:01.

# Stronger, stronger # Just me myself and I

:12:01.:12:07.

# Oohhh, oh, oh, oh, # Yeeaahh

:12:07.:12:10.

# What doesn't kill you makes you stronger! #

:12:11.:12:18.

# What the money's gone and all my friends have ened it

:12:18.:12:26.

# And I can see the final there # I know there's no need for me to

:12:26.:12:29.

panic # Because I'll find him, I'll find

:12:29.:12:34.

him next to me # When the skies are grey and all

:12:34.:12:44.
:12:44.:12:45.

the doors are closing in # All I need is stop things from

:12:45.:12:49.

falling # You'll find him, you'll find him

:12:49.:12:57.

next to me # # Never look into the sun before

:12:57.:13:02.

the day is done # Always spend our days showering

:13:03.:13:12.
:13:13.:13:14.

in the room that makes the rain # Sign your name across my heart

:13:14.:13:23.

# I want you to be my baby # Sign your name across my heart

:13:23.:13:33.
:13:33.:13:35.

# I want you to be my lady # # Don't leave me high

:13:35.:13:45.
:13:45.:13:45.

# Don't leave me dry # Don't leave me high

:13:45.:13:55.
:13:55.:13:56.

# Don't leave me dry # Don't leave me high

:13:56.:14:06.
:14:06.:14:07.

# Don't leave me dry # # When I see your face, yeah, yeah

:14:07.:14:11.

# There's not a thing that I would change

:14:11.:14:19.

# Because you're amazing, just the way you are

:14:19.:14:29.
:14:29.:14:33.

# The way you are # Kuz you're amazing, just the way

:14:33.:14:43.
:14:43.:14:45.

It's up to you. So this is it. You've seen them all perform solo.

:14:45.:14:51.

Now they're about to work as a team. Take one legendary artist, in a

:14:51.:14:54.

career lasting over six decades, add four new comers who dream of

:14:54.:14:58.

doing exactly the same. To get them working as one, he took them for a

:14:58.:15:02.

spot of team bonding. This week my team is performing all

:15:02.:15:06.

together for the first time. I want this performance to be first class.

:15:06.:15:11.

So today, I'm taking my team to a place where they're going to learn

:15:11.:15:16.

the biggest lesson of their lives. Dinosaur mini golf!

:15:16.:15:23.

MUSIC: Theme to Jurassic Park. we're going to nail this group

:15:23.:15:26.

number, we have to spend some quality time together as a team.

:15:26.:15:31.

The first one that gets a hole in one buys the bear.

:15:31.:15:35.

# Everybody walk the dinosaur... # It's important to get to know Tom

:15:35.:15:39.

but also for him to get to know us more. I'll show you how to do it.

:15:39.:15:46.

I've never played golf before. We were on an even keel. I would give

:15:46.:15:53.

myself two out of continue. Tom was about a one. I'm a lot better than

:15:53.:15:59.

him. That's not fair. Look what you made me do. Tom is probably the

:15:59.:16:02.

worst golfer I've ever seen, apart from you. I think there was a bit

:16:02.:16:12.
:16:12.:16:13.

of cheating going on. A team effort. Individually we are nothing. I was

:16:13.:16:18.

the only one that got a hole in one. I think it was a lucky shot. We can

:16:19.:16:23.

go and have a pint now, right? I'm pleased my team are better at

:16:23.:16:27.

singing than playing golf. I'm looking forward to getting back to

:16:27.:16:30.

doing what we can do, that's sing on Saturday night. It's good to

:16:30.:16:40.

show you're rubbish at something Correct me if I'm wrong, is that

:16:40.:16:45.

not the best thing you've ever seen. That has made my life. The silver

:16:45.:16:50.

bear playing golf. For the first time on screen his team get to sing

:16:50.:17:00.
:17:00.:17:04.

with the man himself. Now with Hit # And don't you come back

:17:04.:17:14.
:17:14.:17:16.

# Hit the road, Jack, and don't you # And don't you come back

:17:16.:17:23.

# Whoa woman, oh woman Don't you treat me so mean

:17:24.:17:27.

# You're the meanest old woman I have ever seen

:17:27.:17:29.

# I guess if you say so I've got to pack my things and go

:17:29.:17:34.

# That's right

:17:34.:17:35.

# Hit the road, Jack

:17:35.:17:37.

# And don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more

:17:37.:17:39.

# Hit the road Jack and don't you come back no more

:17:39.:17:44.

# What you say?

:17:44.:17:46.

# Hit the road, Jack

:17:46.:17:47.

# And don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more

:17:47.:17:51.

# Hit the road, Jack, and don't you come back no more

:17:51.:17:56.

# Well, baby, oh baby Don't ya treat me this way

:17:56.:17:59.

# Got to get back on my feet some day

:17:59.:18:02.

# I don't care if you do cos it's understood

:18:02.:18:05.

# You ain't got no money You just no good

:18:05.:18:07.

# I guess if you say so I'll have to pack my things and go

:18:07.:18:12.

# That's right

:18:12.:18:13.

# Hit the road, Jack

:18:13.:18:15.

# And don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more

:18:15.:18:18.

# Hit the road, Jack, and don't you come back no more

:18:18.:18:23.

# Whoa woman, oh woman Don't you treat me so mean

:18:23.:18:27.

# You're the meanest old woman I have ever seen

:18:27.:18:30.

# I guess if you say so, you'd better pack your things and go

:18:30.:18:34.

# That's right

:18:34.:18:35.

# Hit the road, Jack

:18:36.:18:37.

# And don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more

:18:37.:18:39.

# Hit the road, Jack, and don't you come back no more

:18:39.:18:43.

# What you say?

:18:43.:18:46.

# Hit the road, Jack

:18:46.:18:48.

# And don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more

:18:48.:18:51.

# Hit the road, Jack, and don't you come back no more

:18:51.:18:54.

# Ohh

:18:54.:18:56.

# Don't you come back no more

:18:56.:18:57.

# Don't be so mean

:18:57.:18:59.

# Don't you come back no more

:18:59.:19:00.

# That's cold love

:19:00.:19:02.

# Don't you come back no more

:19:02.:19:03.

# Are you sure about that?

:19:03.:19:04.

# Don't you come back no more

:19:04.:19:06.

# I'm not getting this

:19:06.:19:07.

# Don't you come back no more

:19:07.:19:08.

# Hey!

:19:09.:19:10.

# Don't you come back no more

:19:10.:19:11.

# Well, well, well

:19:11.:19:12.

# Don't you come back no more

:19:12.:19:16.

# Huh, I'm all out... #

:19:16.:19:19.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:19:19.:19:24.

# Well, I got a woman way over town

:19:24.:19:32.

One

:19:32.:19:32.

One word,

:19:32.:19:32.

One word, three

:19:32.:19:41.

One word, three letters - -W-O-W! The phone lines are open to vote

:19:41.:19:45.

for your favourites from each team. Next Team Will. He's a producer,

:19:45.:19:50.

arranger, writer, engineer, rapper, designer, side parting lover. Now

:19:50.:19:54.

he's added coach to those talents. What did Mr Do it all have planned

:19:54.:19:59.

for his team? He rustled up a couple of 12 inches.

:19:59.:20:03.

When I was thinking where we should get together, the first and only

:20:03.:20:08.

thing that came to my mind was my house. At my house just happens to

:20:08.:20:15.

be my studio. You want to record a track? Yeah man. Dope. Just

:20:15.:20:17.

casually record with will.i.am nothing big. I want them to be

:20:17.:20:25.

rocking it. Oh, Lord. I don't actually know what he's doing. It's

:20:25.:20:29.

incredible watching him. The same place where the vocals was, give me

:20:29.:20:34.

a variation on the melody. I feel like we're getting to know him

:20:34.:20:38.

better seeing him in his natural environment. This is what we want

:20:38.:20:41.

to be doing: While Will mixes the vocals, he's arranged a treat for

:20:41.:20:49.

his team. I heard there were hungry singers here. Come in, I didn't

:20:49.:20:53.

know it was Jamie Oliver. I'm a fan of the show. When I heard Team Will

:20:53.:20:57.

was here, I thought I had to come down and feed them some food.

:20:57.:21:02.

What's the score tonight? Recording with Will. Also Jamie Oliver has

:21:02.:21:06.

just brought me pizza. I don't think I can handle any more

:21:06.:21:10.

surprises in one day. Back to work and it's the boys' turn to lay down

:21:10.:21:14.

some vocals. Hanging out with Will is amazing. I think we're all a bit

:21:14.:21:20.

overwhelmed, but loving it. That's dope Tyler. Now it's Jaz's

:21:20.:21:24.

turn. Never did I think I would work with him on this level any way.

:21:24.:21:30.

He's a genius. Put the Jaz on the tail and whip it out with the

:21:30.:21:34.

chorus. I thought the session was phenomenal. Let's go out and

:21:34.:21:37.

perform so that the rest of the UK know what's team is on top right

:21:37.:21:45.

now. Now for the first and only time, the four remaining members of

:21:45.:21:49.

Team Will are taking to the stage with their coach. I give you five

:21:49.:21:58.

times dope - Jaz, Frances, Joelle # Well, I got a woman

:21:58.:22:08.
:22:08.:22:17.

# Said I got a woman # She gives me money

:22:17.:22:27.
:22:27.:22:39.

# Yeah, she's a kind of friend # She saves her lovin'

:22:39.:22:49.
:22:49.:22:57.

# Oh yeah, she saves her lovin' just for me

:22:57.:23:03.

# Ah she loves me, so tenderly

:23:03.:23:09.

# I got a woman, way over town

:23:09.:23:14.

# She's good to me Oh yeah-eh-eh

:23:14.:23:19.

# Get down

:23:19.:23:22.

# Get down, girl Go head get down

:23:22.:23:23.

# Get down

:23:23.:23:25.

# Get down, girl Go head get down

:23:25.:23:26.

# Get down

:23:27.:23:28.

# Get down, girl Go head get down

:23:28.:23:29.

# Get down

:23:29.:23:31.

# Get down, girl Go head get down

:23:31.:23:34.

# Honey got her sexy on steamin' She give the hotness a new meanin'

:23:34.:23:36.

# Perfection, mami, you gleamin'

:23:36.:23:39.

# Inception, you got a brother dreamin', dreamin'

:23:39.:23:42.

# Damn, baby, I'm fiendin' I'm tryin to holler at you

:23:42.:23:46.

# I'm screamin'

:23:46.:23:48.

# Let me love you down this evenin'

:23:48.:23:50.

# Lovey, lovey, yeah You know you are my demon

:23:50.:23:52.

# Girl, we could form a team

:23:52.:23:55.

# And I could be the king You could be queen

:23:55.:23:57.

# And my mind's dirty and it don't need cleanin'

:23:57.:24:00.

# I love you long time so you know the meanin'

:24:00.:24:02.

# Oh, baby, I can't come down so please come help me out

:24:02.:24:07.

# You got me feelin' high and I can't step off the cloud

:24:07.:24:11.

# And I just can't get enough

:24:11.:24:15.

# Boy, I think about it every night and day

:24:15.:24:18.

# I'm addicted Want to jump inside your love

:24:18.:24:22.

# I wouldn't want to have it any other way

:24:22.:24:28.

# I'm addicted

:24:28.:24:30.

# And I just can't get enough

:24:30.:24:33.

# I just can't get enough

:24:33.:24:35.

# Boy, I think about it every night and day

:24:35.:24:39.

# I'm addicted Want to jump inside your love

:24:39.:24:44.

# I wouldn't want to have it any other way

:24:44.:24:49.

# I'm addicted and I just can't get enough

:24:49.:24:54.

# I just can't get enough I just can't get enough

:24:54.:24:58.

# I just can't get enough I just can't get enough

:24:59.:25:03.

# I just can't get enough I just can't get enough. #

:25:03.:25:08.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:25:09.:25:18.
:25:19.:25:22.

That's

:25:22.:25:22.

That's how

:25:22.:25:22.

That's how we

:25:22.:25:26.

That's how we do it. Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang!

:25:26.:25:32.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE They've done all they can, now it's over to you.

:25:32.:25:35.

Remember lines close tonight. The public are voting to put their

:25:35.:25:39.

favourite from each team into the semi-final. Tom, that is not going

:25:39.:25:43.

to be easy, is it? No, it's going to be very, very difficult. Such a

:25:43.:25:47.

high standard tonight. LAUGHTER

:25:47.:25:51.

Yeah... He says it like it is, you know. We all feel the same way.

:25:51.:25:55.

This is the hardest part of the show for me, since we started this

:25:55.:25:59.

thing. It's getting harder. You have to let more people go. I

:25:59.:26:04.

thought everybody did a really strong performance tonight. It's

:26:04.:26:07.

going to be hard. Will, how do you think your team did tonight?

:26:07.:26:13.

think each one of my team members, Tyler, little Miss Frances, Joelle

:26:13.:26:16.

and Jaz I'm so proud of them and I'm so happy that we were able to

:26:17.:26:21.

share a fun moment, you know, this is what it's all about, just having

:26:21.:26:26.

fun. You did. Thank you. Thank you again to all our coaches. We'll see

:26:26.:26:30.

you back here for the Results Show, straight after this programme.

:26:30.:26:34.

Where we'll have very special performances.

:26:35.:26:38.

She's helped coach Jessie's artists... Bring what it is that he

:26:38.:26:43.

can't do, because you want to beat him. And vice versa. And now

:26:43.:26:47.

Anamantronic is back in the voice aVienna with the kings of the dance

:26:47.:26:52.

floor, -- voice arena with the kings of the dance floor, Scissor

:26:52.:26:59.

Sisters. It's your chance to see team Jezy and Team Danny as teams

:26:59.:27:03.

of four with two special group performances.

:27:03.:27:07.

That is all to come tomorrow. Most importantly, we'll find out which

:27:07.:27:11.

of Will and Tom's artists have won your support. Remember your votes

:27:11.:27:15.

can only save one artist from each team. You have to get behind your

:27:15.:27:18.

favourites, or there's a chance they won't be in the semi-final.

:27:18.:27:23.

You have until 8.15pm to make that call. Two artists from each team

:27:23.:27:27.

must leave. Make sure you have your say. Thanks to the hardest working

:27:27.:27:30.

band on TV, our incredible artists and of course, our four superstar

:27:30.:27:37.
