This is like the King Kong of sing- songs. Last week, Tom and Will's

artists knew their future on The Voice hung on just one performance.

One song between glory and going home. And one singer from each team

was saved by your votes. It's Ruth. Jazz. Leaving their coaches to save

just one more... I must go with Leanne. Tyler. This weekend it's

Team Jessie and Team Danny whose numbers will be halved. This week

I'll be losing two artists. I don't want to say goodbye to anybody.

unique numbers. It's going to be They're prepared to strike. And go

full throttle. But for four of these artists, tonight's

performances will be the last in this arena. It's going to be the

survival of the fittest. Are you in this to win it? The semifinals

going to forget. But who goes on? And who goes home? This is The

from our semifinal. And if Jessie and Danny's artists want to book a

place, they'll have to sing each other out of the competition.

and first up from Team Danny, it's Personally I thought Max's live

performance of Free Falling was flawless.

You came out just on guitar, and you did everything I said for you

to do. I always thought I would be in the bottom two, so it wasn't a

massive surprise for me. Danny, it is time to make your decision.

reason I chose Max is... Max Milner... He's a one-man band. I

just think it would be a shame for the UK to lose someone so talented

so soon. Max could have came back licking his wounds, but he didn't,

and you have to applaud that. I know he has something in store for

us this week. As well as singing, Max wants to use a loop pedal as

part of his performance. A loop pedal a piece of equipment, so when

you play guitar into it, it plays back what you just played, so it

allows you to play and harmonise over yourself.

Then stop that - stop. Stop that. I'm scared. I have never done this

in a gig in front of five people in a bar let alone millions.

anything goes wrong, that's it. We're off in the deep end, and

you've got two-and-a-half minutes of television you're wishing you

didn't do. I know it's going to be a massive challenge doing it on the

night, so I thought I would go and perform it in front of my old

theatre company. I'm a bit more confident now maybe

- at least now I've seen a reaction to it. I'm Max's sister, I came to

watch him tonight. I thought he was phenomenal. If the loop pedal goes

wrong it's going to be a train wreck, but if he gets it right, it

I think you might have just flashed my knickers to the nation! I'll

forgive you because you took a massive risk tonight. That was

amazing. Nobody knew what was going to happen with that pedal. You

always had faith in yourself, but actually, it could have gone

horribly wrong, couldn't it? Absolutely. I haven't done it a lot,

to be honest, but it's something I've always wanted to do, and I

think it's quite me, so I thought "yeah". Well, it paid off. Danny?

Um, you know, the reason why I'm standing is, to get something that

you have never got, you have to do something you have never done

before. You came back. You were in the bottom two last week, and I

just came out, and I felt that you smashed it, Max! That was amazing -

smashed it! That's all I have to say. I want to hear what everyone

else has to say about that. Let's do it. Let's go to Will. Am I

supposed to tell you how I feel? Yeah. # I feel good! No, honest,

honest, I think it was a great performance, but these are, like,

the finals, and the song selection probably wasn't the smartest.

think? Come on, we don't boo here. I applaud to you because you just

saw what can happen on live TV. Sometimes things go wrong. I

applaud you for that because it could so easily have gone wrong,

and it didn't. It was also nice to see you go back to what we saw on

the blind auditions, you, the guitar and you playing the drums.

It's really important now for you to showcase to the world what you

can do. But I do agree that the song choice for me you chose was

too similar to what someone that's already doing this, very well, and

I felt that Danny and yourself could have spun it better. We gave

them the loop pedal and a rap. it was similar to Ed Sheeran what

you did on the blinds, but the song selection you chose on the blinds

was one billion times better than what you did on that one. That's

all I am saying - blinds, not the blinds. Open the blinds... Close

All I know is my home boy Tyler had visuals similar to that last week.

advice off Tom because it's good to take a risk. I'll tell you exactly

what I think - right now. As far as I am concerned, Max entertained me.

I loved it. And you know, as an artist, it's easier to take the

path you know, really, what you're comfortable with, but sometimes you

have to go off-road, if you like, and Max went off-road tonight in a

good way as far as I was concerned. So hey, I loved it. Thank you very

OK, next up from Team Jessie, it's The first live show, and I loved

every moment of it, but I wasn't fully happy with my vocal. I just

sat back and enjoyed you becoming the artist that you really deserve

to be. Jessie gets me. She understands what I'm trying to do,

and she's even got an idea of what I could do.

I am singing Adele, Turning Tables. If I do this well, it can be a big

moment for me. I just think you have to believe in it more. You've

just got to let go, Cassius. That's it. You're just like a little

Michelin man. Cassius has a tendency to get tense. He needs to

relax. Just let go. If it doesn't come out, don't worry. Jessie can

see something in me. She reads me. She knows there is something

Yeah, I had to. Jessie said it's a big night for me. She just wanted

me to let go. Sometimes I'm a bit tense, but I followed her advice,

and I hope I knocked it out. I hope I did well tonight. I can tell you,

Jessie, I saw the look on your face as he was doing that. You enjoyed

it, right? You've worked so hard, and I'm so honest with my team

about constructive criticism and being honest. Cassius's vocal is

sometimes trapped because he sometimes gets very tense. You just

of me tonight. Tom, Cassius is building up his vocal stamina this

week. It looks like it pays off. Definitely. For the first time I

heard him sing, I thought he was strong anyway. Thank you. Whatever

he has been doing, it has paid off because he seems stronger and

stronger. To take a well-known song like that and do it your own way I

think it's more power to you. And Jessie saying with the walking - he

looked like - when I walk around these steps, I'm always looking

down and seeing what's going on. You might fall. Exactly. It's

better to not fall and concentrate on the voice as far as I am

concerned, and you did that. Thank you, Tom. Danny, let's come to you.

I know you're going to watch it back, and there was a couple of

pitch - tuning issues. I would have liked you to get down off it

earlier in the performance so you had that connection with the crowd

and with us as well. Are you dizzy, by the way? A little, Danny. I have

seen you come on week by week. Was that a strong enough performance to

get you into the next one? I don't know. I don't know, in fairness.

You think so? I might be right. I might be wrong. I think they might

disagree with you in here. Let's come to Will. Out of all of the

singers on Team Jessie, I'm - you - you're one of my favourites out of

all the singers on her team. Thank you. And you - it's your first -

because, you know, music - you didn't really have that sensibility

today. I think you coming out or releasing music is what the music

industry needs, someone with your sensibility and capability, and I

hate to use the word "swag" because it's overplayed, but you're like,

"yo" the way you roll. I feel you. Yeah, it's dope. It is dope. Your

performance today was spectacular. I don't know if you was spinning

too much. I wasn't even tripping on the spinning. We did have a

discussion about the spinning. cool. I would have threw up right

there - Urgh! But you pulled it off. It's Cassius! Next up from Team

Danny, it's Bo. # Make a deal with God.# The one thing that sums up

her performance was Kate Bush on her website had a letter to Bo

saying, "Watched the show, congratulations. I wish you the

best of luck." Kate Bush saw what I did and liked it and liked it

enough to say that she was proud of me - it's amazing. I didn't really

expect to get through that song. So I feel really kind of shocked

and proud that I managed to do it and not wobble. Got the first live

show out of the way. On her first performance, it was very fragile.

We've seen her being blown around the stage like a feather. This one

she has to stand there, be like a brick wall. We have to go bigger

than this one definitely. I am singing Rihanna, Love The Way You

Lie. I think it's such an emotionally charged song, but it's

strong. "Stand there and watch me burn!" I'm doing this, I can do

life on my own. I need to show my feist. Bo was great in rehearsals.

The one thing that always surprises me is her lack of confidence. How

are you feeling? I feel pressure. About the performance, or this

song? Both. It's so important to me. I feel the pressure to really nail

it. Only two people can survive, and this performance has got to be

the one. I need to stand on that stage and be brave and be a warrior.

I believe you're probably one of the most marketable people in this

whole thing. You have an amazing voice, a great ethos, and you sing

know you have had a hard time as well, so - and again, she had a bad

Tom, in the week, I was talking about her nerves, but sometimes

nerves can be a great thing, clearly. Well, yeah, nerves is part

of being a human being. You know, I mean, we all have nerves, and

people come up to me sometimes because I have been around so long,

and they say, "I get nervous before I go on stage. Does that ever leave

you?" Well, it shouldn't leave you, because if you're nervous, that

means you want to do a good job. You're concerned about getting on

there and doing the best you can, so being nervous is not bad. Fear

is bad. So a little bit of nervousness - yeah. And it didn't

Vince is putting Vince on it. taking on a song by one of the best

voices - ever. Her range was crazy. It's a little bit of a risk. Vince

needs to stop being scared of his voice and not be like, "Oh, the big

note is coming. Oh, no. Am I going to get there?" Go, go, go. You need

to have more confidence because you can sing it. I am hoping with this

performance I'm going to hit the high notes and bring a little

sunshine and just - I want to put a little smile on people's faces.

like, brings the sunshine into the studio. That was amazing. That's

what I was hoping for. It's been really cold, and you want to try

bopping a vest in this weather. you hit that note - no problems

love about Vince - honestly, you don't know how hard he works. Vince

came to me with the idea of that, the visuals, how he wants to dress,

how he wants to sing, how he wants to set the song out. It's a

Vince just puts a smile on your face. You just sing your heart out

and - yeah. Tom, it's not an easy job taking a song by a female, a

very well-known song - and putting your own stamp on it. No, no, it's

not, but it's hard taking anybody else's song when they have done it

a certain way, but Vince, when he did the Elvis Presley song, he did

it his own way, and that's the talent he has. He doesn't sound

like anybody else. He sounds like himself. And he's got such - and

he's got such a great vocal range that he can do that. I mean, he can

sing in the same key - girls sing in different keys to men. I don't

know whether you know that or not, but they do. They sing high. For a

man to do a duet with a woman, for instance, you have to compromise

with the key, but with Vince, he wouldn't have to do that because he

can sing that high. He can do a duet himself. Yeah, you can do a

duet with yourself, yes. # Hey! # Hiii!

# And the lower edges too. He's got a great range. You're very

individual, and that's fantastic. Let's get a quick word from Danny.

Vince, I love your vocal. You could literally sing the phone book, and

It went well this time, I was shocked doing it, but I felt

because I was in the bottom two, it needs to take as many boxes as I

Michael Buble who? Exactly. He's growing into a really accomplished

artist. It's the first time I've been able to listen to my voice

when I am singing, and go, "Yeah, this is good". I've just got to see

my fans, OK? Aleks, we love you! He's had lots of marriage proposals

and other proposals. All of these girls going, "Can you sign this?"

It's weird - it's cool, though. Aleks's session was interesting. I

suggested doing a big band session of Jet's Are You Gonna Be My Girl?

I thought it was interesting, but my gut wasn't in it. $CYAN So we

came with a compromise. I just think my target audience would

prefer me to sing Jack Johnson. I chose the song because it brings a

smile to my face. Jack Johnson is really down his alley. This

competition is a balance between what you think is right to do and

what you want to do. I don't want to be the one picked out of the

bottom three. I really need that viewers' vote. Aleks Josh knows

exactly who he is. Now it's time for the rest of the UK to realise.

love about you is you know what you're good at, and you know, we

fought over this song during the week about, you know, how

passionate you were about your own music, your own fan base, all the

research you have done online has been incredible because we've now

come up with this song and the sound. I just - I'm so proud of you.

You know, I'm really proud of you. That was a great performance. It

You know what I'm talking about. Not like that though. I think it's

cool. Your whole thing is fresh. Just - one times, two times, three

times, four times - the fifth time, I want to see you come out a little

more. I want to see different variations. The first time was

fresh. The second time was dope. The third time was that cool - the

fifth time was, "Dang, that again". I want Danny to push you. It's hard

to push someone. He's 17 years old. He's the youngest person in the

that she sings because I am frightened you might hurt your

voice. Me too. Just speaking technically as a singer. You have

to watch you don't blow it. You're a young girl, so please, try and

respect, you know, your voice. I know how you feel inside. You know,

you want to rip it apart, and I know that feeling, but always

remember that you only have one voice and... Yeah. Try and save it.

Danny? By the way, just before I forget because last week I compared

you to Janis Joplin, and I think you didn't know who she was. She

Personally for me, I definitely have been in that situation. It has

can for this person, and then there is nothing that you can do to try
