left, there are no better singers in the UK. Jessie. Team Jessie has

arrived. And Will. They are left with just two artists each.

We have preparing for this moment. This week weekend, they can only

Team Tom, it's Ruth. Ruth Brown has delivered another outstanding

performance. When she opens her mouth, something original comes out.

She moves me. It's coming across on television, because it seems like

she's getting to a lot of people. Take it in. That's for you. They

throw happy sprinkles at me. It makes you feel stronger and it

gives you more confidence. Music has helped me through a lot of bad

things. Before she took part in the competition she was shy and not

talking to people too much. What do you think of this song, Christina

Aguilera, The Voice Within? I can relate. At school I had a bad time.

I used to go to the music room and be alone. This girl is stronger

than maybe she realises herself. The show has impacted her postively

enough. Someone so show can do a 360 and be completely different.

It's amazing. If you sing like that, you have a good chance of getting

to the final. Keep our fingers crossened and everything will be

you lived it. I can see, from the emotion, how are you feeling?

really happy to be in the semi- finals. And, I think if it wasn't

forth voice, I don't know where I'd be because I really miss my dad.

Danny, let's come to you first, please. Incredibly emotional

performance. You know, I lost my dad as well. I know what it's like

to stand there and sing about that and have that in your heart. That

was an amazing performance. You found the voice within. Your voice

Will. I think your dad is proud of you. I know he is. You sang with so

much fire that I was afraid that this torch was going to catch on

fire. And, you just super, super dope, like, really, really dope.

Thank you. Jessie?. I want to say what a pleasure it has been getting

to know Ruth. I have got to know you in the last few weeks. Watching

your VT and seeing how proud your family are of you. Coming into a

competition like this is so hard and so emotional. There are moments

when you sing, there are moments when your voice fills up every

single bit of the air. Do you know what I mean, so rich. Moments of

genius. I can't wait to be coming to your sell-out shows at Wembley.

I'm going to be there cheering you on. Tom, it's hard to believe that

Ruth once said nobody in thes her until she sings. They will sit up

and pay attention now? Definitely. I would in the Ruth, anyway, she is

a beautiful girl to start with. Easy, now. I mean that in all

incertificatety. When you have a voice like Ruth has. She may think

she was invisible before until she starts to sing. That does change

everything. Your personality comes across so strong that people, they

always look at you in a different way. I mean, I'm not blowing my own

trumpet. When I first started off in Wales I would go into places,

you know, try to talk to people is sometimes difficult. Once you open

up with your voice, all of a sudden people look at you in a different

way because you have, thank God, this amazing talent. That is why

was dancing. It was sick. Vince is the bomb! I was standing up on that

stage and in my head I was saying my name over and over and over,

felt like I was going to cry. I guess I've always been a little

different. It's a really nice feeling. It wasen your best

performance. It was cheesey. Jessie is very honest. If she doesn't like

something, she wants to -- will say it. I don't want her to say that

this week. It's important I pick the right song. What are you going

to sing? I don't know what to sing. I'm getting sleepless nights about

that. It's between Earthquake, Michael jackson, Pretty Young

flying by. Having lost her voice, Jessie spells it out. You need to

away from possibly being in the Final. What goes through your head

when you are performing? A lot. This, obviously, means the world to

me. You are thinking, "have I picked the right song?" And, "am I

wearing the right outfit". It's a dream to sing my idol's song on a

show like this. That is why I did. Song choice is very important?

you have to be brave to take on a song like that and do it your own

way. That is what you did. You know, song choice is very important. It

never goes away. It always, to me, it's the most important thing. The

first song that I ever recorded was called Chills and Fever. Nobody

remembers it because it was, apparently, the wrong song. Once I

did It's Not Unusual, see! There you go. People. It was the right

choice to make. You made a great choice there and you did a great

job. Danny? Vince every week I see you flipping songs and you put on

your own spin. It was nice to see you sing a straight song, a

straight cover. That is what I wanted to do. That is what I love,

the song was Back to Black, I don't think you will be going back

anywhere. Will? I thought it was dope. You are one of my favourite

singers on this whole show. That is since the beginning. I'm being real.

You made me like that song. It's one thing to have, you know, a good

song choice or a bad song choice. Then there's another thing, were

you sing a song and you convince everybody to take a listen and

stick through it and see what is coming. Every note you hit was

fresh. It was fantastic. Even before you came on, I was on

Twitter, right, you were trending. Your whole Twitter army, they had

you trending. Thanks everyone out there. He may have a Twitter army,

but he is all yours. What do you think? I'm always honest. I will

say, I didn't choose that phone for Vince. We spent days trying to

decide what was right with him. Vince is an artist. There is a big,

big difference between someone who is just fed things and told what to

do and how to dress and somewhere that goes, "this is what I'm going

to wear and this is what I'm going to sing". I'm sitting here as a

fella artist, with an artist saying, thumbs up. I'm proud. It was great.

Max. He had a lot to prove. You came out and you smashed it. It was

amazing. I wouldn't of sung that song. I don't know what Will would

of had him sing. Boom Boom Baa. so grateful! This week I'm sengeing

-- singing Every Breath You Take bythe Police. This week has to be

better. Focusing on yourself is the best way to get that emotion out.

It's getting my head around what I'm thinking about. It has to be

something honest and heart felt. you look from the other side, there

are family in there, lost loves and parts of your sister in there.

Max's biggest fan. Grace is my life. I couldn't be more prouder. I can

refer it on how I'm looking out for my sister and I will always be

there. I thought of her in that sense and I got so emotional.

You don't need to hide behind a guitar, do you? That was incredible.

very proud of you, I think. She's here somewhere. She's up there.

Will, can we come to you first, please? This is hard for me, this

is a hard thing, because I don't want to say anything that

influences anything. OK. So, do you want him to be honest? Yes, I'd

love you to be honest. The song selection was a great song

selection. I love that song. The arrangement was exactly like The

Police. That suggests that you were to sing it like Sting.

Psychologically, my mind heard the music and wanted to hear Stingg

sing it because it was played and put together the way The Police did

it. It was the one note when Sting went into a falsetto. I thought you

were going to do that. You didn't. I saw your body language. Then you

hit a flat note. I looked at Jessie and Jessie looked at me. That is

when I was like, "now, I have to be honest". That was my honesty.

expect me to lie. Everyone has always been honest the whole way

throughout this. The only reason I would say that it was pretty much

the same as The Police is because I have done different arrangements,

changing them throughout the weeks. I felt I'd like come out and sing...

I know other songs aren't... Here, here. It's a singer's song. I love

that arrangement. My personal opinion is that it doesn't need to

be changed. Here, here. Jess ji? The important thing I would like to

point out. Being on this show as artists, that we live every day,

it's not real if we come on this show and every performance we go,

"that's amazing, you are amacing". You will leave this competition

next week or tonight, you don't know yet, and go into the real

world, which is the music industry. It's not nice, nice, it's real. I

wanted to be on this show to be a coach to be honest with you guys. I

think it was safe. It was a great performance. Vocally it was a great

performance. Don't cheer or boo. It was safe for the semi-final. That's

all. You know, I think it's a great thing to learn from this. That's

all it's about. Great. Tom, what did you think? I agree with some of

the things that Will and Jessie said. For me it was a little too

close to what The Police already did with it. No, honestly, I would

of liked myself, personally, to have seen play guitar and do it

like that and try to get away from that arrangement because it's a big

chance to take. This is the semi- final. I know you can do. It I have

heard you play guitar and sing. You should have made it more your own.

You did sing it really, really well. It's not the way you sang it.

week? I'm stunned, to be honest. I thought you sang it amazing. I

would never want to change a Sting arrangement. You are like a young

Sting. That is why this whole thing... You're not Sting. You're

I find myself in times of trouble. This week Jaz is singing Let It Be

by The Beatles. Even though it's a Balad, the same is for it to be the

best Balad. The Battle of the Balads. What do you think of

getting up there with one of your choirs. To be up there with my

choir that would be brilliant. went to the top. We can have

50folks. Before The Voice I was a vocal teacher. As part of a choir,

biggest part of today is having my choir with me. Aren't they amazing?

You are not bad yourself. Now, to Jessie? The second-half of that was

well stronger than the first half. Me and Jaz have spoken backstage.

I'm honest with these guys. I step off stage and want people to be

honest with me. There was pitchy issues in the beginning. The one

thing of advice I will give you, when you are a soul singer, when

you want to do thrills that come from the voice you have to warm up

your mouth. Again, great. I would love to see you not in a suit.

trying to say? You can keep your hat on, Jaz. Tom, how hard is it to

stand out in front of a choir like that? Jaz does sing with a choir.

He blends in so well with them. Or they blend in with him. So, it

entertained me. I really, really enjoyed it. I have heard a lot of

people... I've heard a lot of people sing that song. I mean, a

lot of people, Aretha Franklin did a great job of it. We love you Tom!

Jaz made it his own. I loved it. Danny? An inspirational performance.

It must feel great to be content. You teach children how to sing.

It's a really nice life. You have a baby on the way. I hope Will

doesn't go middle of the road with you. I'm fearing that might be the

-- ago. She has had knock backs in the past. This is her second chance.

When I was 15 I had the start of a recording contract. It just didn't

work out. I lost a lot of confidence from it, I think. I

wanted to take a break from it for a bit to find my feet again. Which

turned into about ten years. Coming this far, I just want to keep going

now. Like, I remembered why I wanted to be a singer in the first

place. I think this probably is the biggest chance I'll ever have to

actually make something of myself. It slipped through my fingers

before. This time I want to grab hold of it and not let go. Singing

I'd forgotten lines and stuff. Purely because the pressure got too

much. When I got to the end of the performance, Jessie kind of gave me

a well needed hug. Calm down. Amazing. Everything just became too

overwhelming. I think she kind of recognised that. The person I'm

going to be taking through to the semi-finals is... Becky Hill.

feel totally lucky. I really miss my parents. It's great they come

down every week and support me. whole town has really backed Becky.

Not having her around, we've really missed her. I know they are really

proud of me. I'm lucky to have parents like them. It's been an

amazing experience for her. It's been amazing for us to see her grow

as a person as well. We are really proud of her. We believe she can go

My other songs have been shouty and taken voice effort and strength.

This voice requires emotion and feeling. I think this will be your

Who is this young lady up on stage? What have you done with Becky?

think this is the ferst time I've spoken to you when I haven't been...

I normally have to peel you off the ceiling. Tom, what do you think?

said show all sides of your self-. You have a wonderful tone to your

voice. Which I hear when you sing up tempo songs. I loved it. Danny?

Your voice is amazing. Lovely to see that other side of you. My only

critique would be on song choice. It's semi-final time. I would of

picked, not a bigger song, a song that maybe knows. I don't know that

song. I do appreciate you and take - I genuinely don't know that song.

Maybe there is people out there, especially in semi-final time that

may be calling in that don't know the song. It was a flawless

performance vocally. Well done. Jessie? I was like, what, what,

what! That scared me a little bit. I think it's really important to do

songs that maybe people don't know. They do now it's important to

showcase different sides of your voice. Every week Becky and I

discuss that you showing you up there and singing, power, power,

power, I wanted her to chill out and show a tone that no-one has in

this competition which nobody else has. She is up against Vince.

final you are up against Vince. I'm saying for his own good. He's right.

singers off. They should have similar tools. Not similar tools,

We all feel it. Standing there on that stage and waiting for Holly to

say who has gone through, it's horrific. Saved by the viewers is...

Bo! Bo has been saved by the public. It means everything to her. I hid

singing for a long time much I didn'ted a noit wanting to be a

singer. I felt like I wasn't good enough and I wouldn't get accepted.

Acceptance is something she struggled with her all her life

coming from what they classed as a privileged background. That is why

I came on The Voice. The fact that they voted means they have accepted

it. I felt for the last few years that I was on the edge of something

and the doors get slammed on your face. This time I feel like the

door is opened and I might have a chance. Bo is singing Charlie Brown

by Coldplay. I have to let go. I have been holding on to all this

stuff. I want to explode. She has set the ground and lit the fuse.

really stepped it up. The last couple of performances were real

like, Mel owe. You made her the superstar that she is. I don't know

whose idea it was, but every single moment was thought out. I really

like when people think about every inch of the way. I go to the truck,

I do camera blocking I really get into the show. I make sure the

lighting is right. I will come up with ideas for people on my team.

Danny, I don't know what you guys were doing over the week, but it

looks like you guys were really putting in work. Thank you. Jessie,

Like, your voice is just like... I think you could sing anything and
