Here we go again, hold on tight, it's the semifinals. Have we got a

show for you, tonight, our semifinalists will sing solo and

perform with our superstar coaches. Here they are. From a galaxy far,

far away, the Jedi Master of pop, Obi Wan.i.am. The force is strong

with these two, Sophie May and Jermain. Behave, it's Ricky Wilson!

Doing it for Team Ricky, Chris and Christina-Marie! Bigger than the

mountains, deeper than the valleys. He's the king of Wales, Sir Tom

Jones! Let's hear it for his loyal subjects, Bizzi and Sally! She's

supersonic, electronic and iconic, she is Kylie! Make noise for her

boys, and Jamie. It's the semifinals!

Good evening, Great Britain. Let me hear your voices! Yes, they are

ready, we have liftoff on the biggest show of the series. Tonight,

you and only you can choose four acts to sing in next week's final.

The artists will sing solo and, for the first time, they will perform

with their coaches. It's going to be huge. If that wasn't enough, not

one, but two global superstars are going to be joining us on this very

stage. Shakira is here to shake her thing. And we are joined by Enrique

Iglesias! Are you excited about that? Just a little bit, he's a very

handsome man. Ready for this? It's going to be a good night, I can feel

it. Tom, your team are first to perform. What can we expect? Well, I

want to Sally to be Sally. And I want Bizzi to get busy. As long as

we do what we rehearsed, I think we'll be fine. Thank you very much.

It's time for the first semifinalist. Who would have

thought, Jones would be the fairy godmother in our very own Cinderella

story? Lovely to see you again. I think you are looking younger. It's

the show. I need some of that myself! The more I get to know

Sally, the more I like her. I think I have relaxed into the process.

It's not to do with singing, it's to do with everything else that

surrounds The Voice. I'm going to get pampered, the outfit, the hair,

the make-up, blissful. My mum is here, she has had her hair done

specially. I've had my hair done as well. The hair, make-up, costumes. I

think that's been a transformation. My highlight of the evening was

seeing Sally. She looked really gorgeous. It was really exciting,

singing in the quarterfinals. Who is getting your pass through to the

semifinal? Sally! I thought Sally deserved that first pass because she

sang out there. We are very proud of her, and we think she's done very

well. We can't wait for Saturday night. I am one sing away from the

final. That's exciting, as well as a little bit scary. Great to see you,

Slightly nerve-wracking. I've got to say, you are rocking the leather

this evening. Never mind the hair. I won't mess up your hair. I am

channelling Ferne Cotton. You look wonderful, what a great way to start

the show. Can we put our hands together for David Tench, and the

brilliant band? Just exceptional, all of the time. We know you played

arenas in the past. How does that compare to programme aggro stage?

That was the most nerve wracking I've ever felt. Is that the right

way of saying it? I'm still shaking. You feel OK, though? Enjoyably nerve

wracking? I'm speechless. Let's let you rest, you just had one hell of a

performance. A slight change of pace, do you enjoy this? A fantastic

change of pace. I feel for you, you've opened the show, what a job.

I thought she was going to faint. I loved hearing another side to your

performance. The glassy eyes, it looked like she pulled on those

emotions again? Always, she always does that. I must congratulate you

on singing that song the way that you sang it. I didn't want to lose

lovely Sally, but she wanted to do something more up-tempo. We found

this song and I thought, great, the structure of it is like a ballad and

then it is moving. She fell right into it and it was fantastic. I love

that! Are you enjoying the new goddess in leather? I am, totally.

She always manages to transport us somewhere, and tonight was no

different. Another flawless performance, so uplifting, which was

great. First performance of the semifinal, give us your first words

of wisdom for the evening. To have someone like Sally kick it off,

surprised everyone with a powerful, up-tempo, like that, singing so

powerful, it looked great, it sounded great. Only a person like

Sally can do that. I liked the risk that you took tonight. You really

thrilled me. Brilliant comments, great way to start the show.

pitch me. Ouch! Now I'm nervous. He can do up-tempo, he can do ballads,

which I love. Gospel. It's Bizzi! Throughout the competition, I've

been doing that, because I've been giving praise. Bizzi praise. This is

a crucial time now, and it's down to the public. When you get the

semifinal, it's like getting a number two record. Like, oh, my God,

one more step and I would have been number one. We have two strong

people from Leicester. We are from the same place, Leicester. I had to

drum up some support for the Vote Bizzi campaign, but I only had 24

hours to do it. He went out and about in Leicester. They were all

behind him. Very good to see you! You are a real Leicester star, you

really are. Thanks, that deserves another shake. Leicester all the

way. He went up there and tested the waters, he wanted to feel Leicester.

Everywhere he can get up to perform, he did. I'm hoping I've got

Leicester behind me and the UK, because I really don't want to go

home. Are we going to have a Leicester -fest? One thing is for

sure, there will be someone from Leicester in the final. Representing

week, taking it down, as Will said, very smooth. Like honey. Smooth,

yeah. A change, but every change Bizzi makes is a good one. He

delivers week upon week, so good. Tom, again, it looked like you were

getting a little emotional? Yeah. Well I get emotional over my

singers, because they're so great and they touch me. I've got to know

them. They both are beautiful people and great singers. So it means a lot

to me to see somebody come on and do what we worked on. It's tremendous.

I wanted Bizzi to do a ballad this week, because Bizzi can sing

anything he wants to, but I thought this week, and I know he loves that

song, I thought, let Bizzi get busy and do what he wants to do, which is

that song. I think it suited you so well. When you went up for that

falsetto note towards the end, I thought, I hope that you hold it,

you know, strong, and you did. Then you went above that again. Which I

hadn't heard before. But you went for it and you pulled it off.

Wonderful. Did you enjoy it? Of course. Of course I did. Bizzi, he's

always guaranteed to bring a good time. Everyone's got praise for you

Bizzi. We love it. Also, I know you switched it up with a ballad. I'm so

glad you didn't rest on the success of last week. You smash today last

week. You could have carried on with the same thing, but I'm glad to see

quarter finals I was so nervous. I was being physically sick. But I

managed to hold my nerve. I thought if I can just get through this song,

it's fine. When Ricky said my name, it was amazing. Fast pass, I chose

you. Now it's up to the public. How do you feel about that? I'm pretty

scared because I want to know what people think about me. Get the

public vote would mean a lot to Christinament she's always been the

one that's supported everyone else. It's time that she gets looked after

a little bit more. I think I was always a bit of a recluse growing

up. I didn't have that many friends at school. So I found a place for

me, where I could fit in. For me, that was music. Whenever I would

have a tough day, I'd go home and just listen to MariaCarey and

Michael Jackson, those amazing people, just listening and learning.

Miss Lambert was the only teacher I felt I could be myself with. This is

where it all began. Do you remember being on the stage? We always knew

she would go on to pursue her dreams. I'm so proud. This week the

decision is in the hands of the public. It could be I'm the only

person in the country that likes her. All I want to do. Chris is

amazing. You need to push them over the edge and make them vote Faure

them. I know! They're amazing. Sophie and Jermain, you see what

You really sliced it tonight. Thank you Will. It was amazing. Kylie, she

had it all going on. There was a lot going on, but it's really you that's

going on. You are just phenomenal. I tell you, every, every week, you

blow my mind. Is there anything you can't do? Seriously. Probably. Can

you cook? Not really. Sally's been trying to teach me. You are just

incredible. I just sit here in awe of what you're doing. Thank you so

much. Tom did you think? Last week, you made my grandson cry. No! In a

good way, though. I have to talk to him after the show and see what you

did to him this week. If you're doing the same to him as you're

doing to me, wow! Oh, wow Sir Tom, thank you. Ricky, have you seen a

change in her since the beginning of the competition? She was sensational

from the start. Can you see someone that good get better? She's been a

star from the beginning. If she could learn anything, it's just that

she doesn't have to do anything on her own. You have family now. It was

the confidence to be a powerhouse. The first live show was so amazing.

loved every moment of it and it went so fast. The artist with the most

public votes is... Chris. Getting the public vote, it means that the

public actually like you. That's what you want. The transformation in

Chris has been incredible. He believes that he deserves to be

here. You needed not just me being behind you, but now the public

agree. Can you do that? I can't. I'd like to be able to do it. Just to be

at this stage now it's so fonome... I can't say that word. It's amazing.

I've come a long way from my blind audition. There have been tough

times too. I never really spoke about it before, but two days before

my battle, my dad passed away. He was quite ill for a while. Was still

emotional, he was upset. But he gave it his all. I just remember him

looking forward to watching it. That's what is the hardest thing,

you know, that he's not, still here. Being on The Voice has helped me

long. Ricky's been amazing. He's gone from like a coach to a life

coach. I just want to step out on the stage and give it everything. I

just want to say how proud I am. I think we're onto a winner. I hope

like I love jazz and blues and stuff. I was grateful to come on the

stage and be able to perform that for the lovely people. Thank you.

Was it the most nervewracking week this week? It was nervewracking, but

I was excited this week. I can't wait to get on this stage.

Everything was great. I loved every moment of this week. It was cool.

There's always plenty to smile about with Chris, Kylie? I was smiling

from the first note, because you looked amazing, and I could just

feel that, as you were saying, you were in your zone that. Was a place

you wanted to be. You deserved that, at this stage of the competition, to

say what you want and be able to deliver with confidence and passion.

It was just stunning. Tom, was that the performance of a finalist? Yeah,

I think so. I think he can get into the final with that performance. On

-- honestly, it's one of my favourite songs. Charlie Chaplin

wrote it. It's a wonderful song. You did a great job on that tonight and

to control, it I must tell you this, I must tell the people this, because

the control of that song, the way you controlled it, in and out of

falsetto and you never panicked. You just kept to it. Good on you for

that. It's fantastic. Ricky, the public have a tough choice on their

hands when it comes to your team. Yeah, Chris, I'm glad we chose that

song. I'm glad you chose that song. There's a simplicity to your

brilliance. Your inner ears didn't work, you didn't need them. I had to

take them off, I couldn't hear a thing. I saw. The show must go on.

You still delivered a genuine and gentle performance. All along I was

hoping to find an artist and tonight, we've found one. Will, it's

a song that's been covered many times, but what due think to Chris'

version? Mr Chris, your voice today was like crystallised and boiling

hot. It was like freaking fresh, play on words, play on name. That

you know... Kylie has been aside me the whole way, and I can't thank you

enough. Are you happy with how it went? I think that's the best I've

done it, yeah. What did you think? I think what Lee is its resting now is

what we love about you, you are so passionate, such a perfectionist,

emotion is a big part of your performance. It's OK to not feel

fantastic, but I think you did fantastically. That was absolutely

stunning. I'm so proud of you, really. Tom, do you think he seemed

nervous during the performance? Not to me, I've seen him more nervous

than that. It seemed like you had been more nervous in the past,

especially when you have the microphone, like he wanted to

strangle somebody. I think you are going to go far, but not in that

car. I imagine that's a difficult song to pull off. What have you done

to Jamie's car? I thought the song choice, a current song choice, it

works well with you. It's where I see you go anyway, perfect. What did

you think? It's like a suffix. What I mean by that is, it was

wonderfully powerfully, musically... You can't say dopeily. Honestly that

was surprising-Lee brilliant. I'm so pleased with that. Thanks. I've

never seen anybody strangle the microphone. You are really feeling

love the way you were singing. Great song selection. Great, elegant set

up. You executed today flawlessly. It was a ship. I heard you, thanks

exactly why? Yeah, now I'm finding it hard to speak. I've tried my best

to be strong for my guys, you and Lee, so close and now that you've

both performed, I might just fall to pieces a little, because well, so

fantastic. The fast pass you deserved it. You just deliver every

time. That was so beautiful to hear you sing something so emotional.

Tom, it's a much loved song. What do you think Jamie brought to it? I

think he made it his own. I've heard a couple of versions of it. But that

was really strong. To be 19 years old and sing with that emotion. You

sound, when you sing, that you've lived it. That you've lived that

song. That's great. I must say, I told you last week, and I'm going to

tell you again this week, you remind me of me. Because last week, you

came up with that up-tempo thing. Now this ballad, hopefully I could

sing it as well as you did. Ricky, did you enjoy it? If you want to be

magic. It's lovely to see Ricky doing his

job. We're so used to having him watch us doing ours. Ive Chris and

Kristina along to show them how hard it is being in a band. Stop, blue

Peter! We were in rehearsals and our

manager came in, "Do you want to go to blue Peter? Do we get a badge?

Watching him rocking out was really good. We found out something else

about Ricky, not only is he an indie rock God, but he's actually quite

good at making things out of balloons.

He made a poodle. If he doesn't do well after the

show, he could always be a children's entertainer.

On the train it was nice to spend that down time with Ricky, even

though I did fall asleep. I was hoping for conversation. I love

sleep. I feel comfortable around Ricky. That's why I didn't mind five

dribbled. At the end of the day, we went to

the Brixton Academy to see the NME awards tour. I wanted to show them

that it's hard work but the best fun you can ever have.

voice next year. 20p per download goes to the BBC performing arts

charity. This is how some of the money you raised through the last

series made a difference to this very special charity.

When you download a track from the Voice... You're helping to support

talented people all over the UK. The performing arts fund is a

charity that helps young, creative people. Lastory's votes raised over

?200,000. That's benefitted amazing projects across the UK. Saturday All

sorts is a music group for young people in Manchester. This project

is really important to this area. It's open to all creative young

people. We make music, and record it in the studio. I'm getting the

resources I need to do what I love. No matter what type of music you're

passionate about, the performing arts fund can get the started. Last

year Ailee Roberts received funding. Allowed me to develop as a composer,

to work with new people and without that funding, that wouldn't have

been possible. The Cotton Shed theatre offers a creative outlet for

people, like Cameron. It helps people with disabilities and

able-bodied people be able to do drama.

It means so much to me. It kind of like transforms my life, in a sense.

I'm not being overly dramatic. I'm being honest with you. It brings so

much joy, not only to the participants, but to their families

and just knowing that they're a part of a group that accepts them for who

they are. Thank you for helping these dreamers

keep their dream alive. We don't want to kill no dreams, do we?
