Of course, Darts had three records that made Number 2 in 1978,

a very successful band.

If you ever bother to think about the number of records which are released in one year,

obviously the Tops Of The Pops office is full of records, but have you thought about it?

On average, some 70 records are released every week which makes, what, 3,500 a year.

But can you guess, a Christmas game for you,

how many records were actually bought in 1978?

If you're good, I'll give you the answer at the end of the programme.

If you're not good, I won't. But I can tell you that Boney M sold over 4 million copies of their records.
