whirlwind, a fire storm swirling around the deer which freed this

prisoner of war. We investigate who he is, how he was taken, and how

dangerous are the Taliban leaders now living in freedom and luxury.

aeroplane passengers. Tonight, how the airline 's plan to fight back.

this Monday night. We began with the fast moving story of American Bowe

Bergdahl, and the fire storm over his release. People are wondering

about the five released in his stead. The only thing everyone seems

to agree on is that those sent to his rescue were heroic. Our courage

of the release of Bowe Bergdahl begins with our correspondent. Good

evening Diane. Tonight we are hearing stunning new accusations

from the soldiers who served with Bowe Bergdahl. And those who risk

their lives to save him. With even a former senior defence official

tonight calling Bowe Bergdahl a deserter. Tonight, the question: who

really is Bowe Bergdahl? The soldier, hospitalised in condition

in a stable condition, he is now speaking in his native language.

Finding English difficult. It was 7pm Saturday, with US drones and

helicopter tracking, as team of so`called lack operators. `` as a

expressed deep gratitude. Today, the controversy over the deal, releasing

those five members of the Taliban, is only growing. In some of the

soldiers who served with Bowe Bergdahl, described as a skilled

marksman who also like ballet and was homeschooled and is home`town,

are beginning to speak out. His former team leader described him as

a good soldier who wanted to help the Afghan people. But that Bowe

Bergdahl began complaining about the US role in the war. He was

definitely upset and frustrated with the war effort and how we were

handling our business. Than just two months into his deployment, early in

the morning, Bowe Bergdahl disappeared. Leaving his body

armour, weapons, and Helmut kind. And while glad he is alive and free,

he is considered by some as a deserter. He walked away. Walked

right out of the base. A fact of the matter is that he deserted us in the

middle of Afghanistan to go and find the Taliban. Within hours, Bowe

Bergdahl would be in the hands of the Taliban, and the US military

would be launching a massive search. A search which soldiers say

it resulted in the depths of American soldiers. People calling

him a hero and this great soldier, it is a spit in the face to the

soldiers who were there, and more importantly, it is a spit in the

face to the soldiers who died as a direct result of him leaving. The

Pentagon has never on the record said that Bowe Bergdahl walked away

from his post, but the former defence official agreed with the

sergeant. He said that he believes that Bowe Bergdahl was seeking out

the Tao banned. What is needed now, of course, is Bowe Bergdahl's side

of the story `` Taliban. The decision to release major Taliban

prisoners as part of the deal, has triggered a furious wave of

criticism. Five members of the Taliban set free now receiving a

hero 's' welcome, living in a fashionable neighbourhood. Our

correspondent now on how dangerous they are. Tonight, the five freed

detainees are living in the midst of luxury in a Taliban Villa in Qatar,

in the capital city of Doha. Video shows the men receiving a hero 's'

welcome. As they arrived there over the weekend. There was no sign they

were in custody or under guard. The families were flown in to be with

them and the only known condition imposed by the US was that they not

travel outside Qatar by at least a year. I think these are very

seasoned strategic leaders of the Taliban. Today in Washington,

Republicans said the deal was Atwan in a number of ways. We have to be

concerned not only would the printable of negotiating the

terrorists, but the five who were released in exchange for Bowe

Bergdahl. US assessments made six years ago found a high risk to the

US if they were set free. Perhaps greatest concern is the former

Deputy Defence Minister of the Taliban. The US assessment found

that if released, he would likely rejoin the Taliban. They also

accused him of possible war crimes and the murders of thousands of

Shi'ite Muslims in Afghanistan. The White House said the exchange was

the right thing to do. The United States does not leave men and women

in uniform behind. After more than 12 years in captivity away from the

battlefield, it is not clear how much immediate value the five men

would have to the Taliban now. But today, one man emerged from hiding

to call it a great victory. As the debate continues to rage, military

doctors are hard at work trying to help Bowe Bergdahl prepare for a

slow and difficult transition back to American life. So why is it so

difficult? Our correspondent travels to his hometown in Iowa. For Bowe

Bergdahl, freedom is collocated. You Bergdahl, freedom is collocated. You

can imagine what he has endured, but this British filmmaker Ken. `` you

can't imagine. I'm terrified of numerous things. Held by 3.5 months

by the same group, he says it was terrifying. The real struggle is not

in captivity, surviving. It is when you are released. That is when the

real struggle begins, coming home. Is it that when Bowe Bergdahl comes

home to this tiny town in Idaho, it won't be easy to leave behind the

trauma of his time as a prisoner. Even the simplest chores may become

a challenge. The elation of being home and free and pasting my first

salad and cold beer, holding my children in my arms, you are filled

with love. `` pasting. And a few months later, every night for six

months I would see images of death. Bowe Bergdahl was held for five

years, taken in a moat mountains of eastern Afghanistan. Analysts have

pointed out it looks quite similar to his home town. That might help to

make what the military calls a soft landing back home. Video obtained by

the Guardian shows Bowe Bergdahl's father in a tense, where he used a

hike. He says his son could possibly find solitude here. We set this up

for him hoping he can get home. There is no timetable for his

recovery. He may be physically free, but the mental side will take

longer. today for the biggest attack to

climate change in the Obama administration. It is said to reduce

emissions by 30% over 15 years. Environmental groups are calling it

a historic move but others are calling it a job killer that will

decrease the price of energy. The president tried to get climate

change in his first term of legislation but Congress was

deadlocked. Though the one your comment period is expected to be a

political firefight. Now from power plants to an aeroplane that trades

jet fuel for solar power. Today, a Swiss plane running on solar power

to its first flight over Switzerland. It has over 17,000

solar cells and flew over two hours. The ultimate goal is an

around the world flight next year. More turbulence in the air but this

time from passengers. The number of unruly incidents has soared to over

8,000 last year. Now we go to our correspondant who is talking about

the not so friendly people in the sky. There is a bomb on this plane

the air. This flight had to make an emergency landing in Atlanta. This

was on a flight from Iceland to JFK, a wild passenger who drank a

whole bottle of the good stuff at duty free, had to be duct taped to

reported worldwide last year up from 5200 and 2012. For now coming to the

solution is intensive training for airline workers and increased

charges for the cost of these disruptions, up to $200,000 for

divergent flights. International law makes it difficult to collect from

Positives? They are odorless, you can leave them alone all day and you

can pet them if they have been around humans from birth. This one

has not. Negative? They like to run around her cage all night and it

might keep you awake. Their band in some states and they carry
