In 20 minutes, the rest of the day's news. Time now for a look at

the news as seen across the United States a couple of hours ago, in ABC

World News with David Muir. Welcome to world news. Tonight, the

twin tornadoes caught on tape. All parts of the major outbreak of

twisters at this hour worked with meteorologists warning to take this

seriously. The wildfire evacuations, our teams on both

fronts. And the US Marines movie and to protect the US embassy. US

warships now on the move. Extreme heat on the way this week. A

tip that could save your family hundreds of dollars.

That evening. We begin with those enormous twisters hitting this hour.

A rare moments caught on tape. Twin tornadoes bearing down. This driver

catching it all on camera. One of the twisters is nearly a mile wide.

Officials are telling residents to be cautious. Let us take you look

where it is headed. All of this unfolding as firefighters battle

fires out west. That is where we start tonight.

Tornadoes across the great Plains tonight. This one in Nebraska is

massive, nearly a mile wide. Tearing across the landscape. Storm chasers

tracking at all. When suddenly a second Tornado forms out of the

first and touches down. Rereleasing by the human eye, caught on video.

`` rarely seen. The house was ripping apart. The National Weather

Service is calling it a particularly dangerous situation. While this

outbreak hammer as the planes out west, fires are raging. Flying even

at night. You can see it is surrounded by all of this incredibly

dry brush. It has not burned in well over a century. The cost of the

blaze is ballooning to over $4 million, adding to an already

expensive season, twice as many echoes pruned as this time last

year. `` acres burned. In the middle part of the country there is still

great danger. Serious and destructive tornadoes continue until

late tonight. To the other major story. The White

House is considering sending special forces into Iraq to help advise

Iraqi troops. President Obama talking with his national security

team tonight. They want to protect the US embassy. The embassy has 5000

US citizens living and working there. At this hour, another

American warship is heading towards Iraq. Iraq is soldiers and civilian

clothes being trained by American forces, being targeted by Islamic

militants. These marines are now in place to

protect America's embassy. It is $700 million fortress. AT football

fields in size, but tonight we have learnt a significant number of the

5000 who live and work here have been evacuated. This as the

ferocious terror group ISIS took down another city. They are Sunni

Muslims, wanting to crush the sheer element of the government. They are

getting help from Sunnis across the country. That's why it America today

added to its list of options. The warship on the move today as five

aircraft, which can help in an evacuation. But if the US choose to

strike the militants, there is now in place a US carrier, able to

launch 40 fighter jets to bomb the militants and two ships that can

fire cruise missiles. President Obama is also considering sending

100 special operations forces to Iraq, to supply in Iraqi troops.

But, in Baghdad, there was no waiting. This morning we watched

thousands of young men flood through the gates of an army recruiting

centre. These men have shown up spontaneously and are anywhere from

about 12, some who have already lost family members to be jihadi

fighters. Young and old, none given any training. But today, in Baghdad,

we also found this. A celebration amidst the fear. A wedding. A new

family, that somehow, through it all, looks to the future. But the

threat to the city tonight is real. There are Iraqi security forces

throughout the city, checkpoints everywhere. Of course the USS it

will work with Iran to try to stop the militants. `` the US says. But

the people we have spoken to believe it is up to them to defend the city.

instability will lead to rising gas prices around the world and at home.

One of the biggest oil producers in the world has meant markets have

been rattled already. Good evening. We have seen the

prices. Higher than $4 a gallon. When news broke last week about the

prices in Iraq, oil prices spiked to levels higher than what we have seen

this year. Gas prices, the national average is now: experts say

Americans getting ready to hit the roads for their summer vacations

could soon be paying even more, as much as 10 cents per gallon.

All of this game because of the fears in Iraq. There have been ``

big predictions we would see a drop in gas prices. Not any more.

Thank you. We are now going to turn to an earthquake, striking in

Oklahoma. The number of quakes in that part of the country spiking.

Tonight we ask why and what that meteorologist said on the air that

proved spot on. We are going to be feeling that...

This morning's forecast came with a jolt and not from the first cup of

coffee. Oh my gosh! I am sorry.

In a city known for its tornadoes, meteorologists suddenly got very

good at measuring earthquakes. That was A the jute 4.2. That was well

over 4.0. They have had a lot of practice. Since beginning of this

year, Oklahoma has had 200 earthquakes of over Back Beach or

three. That's more than a 50% in Greece 50% increase and more than

Vegas woke up and started fighting with his family. It escalated with

him climbing over seats, swinging at flight attendants. He was subbed
