Good afternoon. Relatives of the two girls who

survived the shooting of a British family have arrived in France to be

with them. The couple are expected to visit the children in hospital

this afternoon. Three days on from a crime that has

stunned France, prosecutors continued their investigations

behind closed doors, desperate for a substantial lead. Over 40

officers are now on the case, working with their British

counterparts. Teams from both sides of the Channel are coming together.

Do local prosecutor said close members of the family, a man and a

woman, have arrived in France, with a social worker. Later, they hoped

to visit the daughters who remain in hospital. The older it is still

in an artificial coma. At the murder scene, small traces of the

probing questions. The press have laid out several scenarios, a

witnesses, presumably to narrow the search. The main hope rests with

the seven-year order. If her condition improves, comforted by

the family members, she may provide the key as to what hovers took

place here. At the family home in Claygate, French and British teams

French police have arrived in Surrey, and are expected to search

their home later. This is the first time this family has been searched

since the shootings on Wednesday. It is indeed an. Now that the

tents outside the house, they have always guarded the property, but

France, the news that two members of the family and a British social

worker are heading over to be with the young girls has been welcomed

by local people. I was speaking to one resident, they said it is right

they are with their family. No sign of the French investigators yet,

but they are on their way. Two newly appointed health

ministers have said piddles on assisted suicide should be examined.

The conservative Anna Soubry said it was appalling people had to go

abroad to get help to die. Her Liberal Democrat colleague Norman

Lamb agreed the issue needed to be looked.

She has been a minister for only a few days, but Anna Soubry's remarks

says he agrees that the law should be looked at again. The Department

of Justice says there are no plans to change the law, but with at

least two government ministers at odds, public pressure may begin to

mount. The Archbishop of Canterbury has

said he believes the Anglican Church should draw up plans to

appoint a presidential figure to share some of the burden of running

the Anglican Communion. Rowan Williams admitted he had done too

little to prevent Anglicans from splitting over homosexuality.

A suicide bomber in Afghanistan has killed at least six people in the

centre of the capital Kabul. Some of the dead are children. It

happened close to the headquarters of the international forces in the

diplomatic quarter. ParalympicsGB have added another

gold medal to their tally, with a win for David Stone in the cycling

road race. Ellie Simmonds could win another medal tonight in the final

of the 100 metres freestyle. She won her heat comfortably this

morning. Hopes are riding on Ellie Simmonds, but a lot of competition

from an American swimmer as well. It will be tough, her final is at

5:50pm, her last event of these games. This is how she qualified in

style for the final. She won her heat, and she said a Paralympic

record. It was all looking very good. She has had such a good

Paralympics. Personal bests. She will find it tough tonight, because

after she competed, her big rival, Victoria Arlen, she went, and she

said a new world record, she recalled her own world record, two

seconds quicker than Ellie Simmonds. It appears that Ellie Simmonds is

probably realistically demand for a silver medal this evening, but

there has already been a gold medal today, David Stone in the road race.
