The Government has not made their

sisters and the impact of initial

the lady for her helpful reply. But

given that at the moment, terrorists

are defined by their religions, does

that not create an atmosphere in

which the label Muslim becomes a

badge of honour for criminals, who

attacked parliament? He converted to

Islam a view mods before attacking

the parliament, he already had a

long track of misdeeds and in fact

he converted in prison and knew

nothing about Islam. Attacking

parliament in the name of Islam made

him a hero and made him feel like a

master, rather than the criminal

that he really was.

We do not have a

policy on announcing the creed of

attackers, just the actual attack

details, and to this end we have

gone to all statements by the Prime

Minister and Home Secretary and

security minister that we found

reference, not one mentions the

attacker's background except

possibly by inference when are

named.

The confusion caused by the

use by the Government of the term

terrorism as it has an intelligible

meaning for radicalism. As in the

Government's Prevent strategy,

should this not be changed?

radicalism has a lot of meaning any

sense of approach towards terrorist

activity beyond counter... Beyond

that which is extremism, so I don't

think the term radicalisation, the

term used all over the world is

going to be changed.
