Hello, I'm Ros Atkins, this is Outside Source. | :00:09. | :00:10.
Let's look through some of the main stories here in the BBC Newsroom. | :00:11. | :00:14.
The Nigerian government has said it is shocked and embarrassed | :00:15. | :00:16.
at David Cameron's remarks to Queen Elizabeth. | :00:17. | :00:18.
He described Nigeria as fantastically corrupt. | :00:19. | :00:25.
The leader of the largest Islamist party in Bangladesh | :00:26. | :00:28.
Motiur Rahman Nizami was hanged at Dhaka's central prison. | :00:29. | :00:33.
He was convicted of crimes against humanity during Bangladesh's | :00:34. | :00:35.
war of independence from Pakistan in 1971. | :00:36. | :00:44.
I'll show you this report about a BBC investigation | :00:45. | :00:46.
which discovered that over 1,700 unidentified migrants have been | :00:47. | :00:48.
buried in unmarked graves, after dying while trying to get | :00:49. | :00:51.
We will update you on the football, it is West | :00:52. | :01:08.
And earlier today our correspondent in Moscow was performing | :01:09. | :01:14.
Eurovision hits on the piano - on request - live on Facebook. | :01:15. | :01:17.
All very impressive - I'll show you the best bits. | :01:18. | :01:36.
Now to a special BBC investigation into the unnamed victims | :01:37. | :01:39.
This interactive feature allows you to explore the stories | :01:40. | :01:47.
of some of those who've lost their lives. | :01:48. | :01:50.
Including the 1,700 adults and children who've been buried | :01:51. | :01:52.
in unmarked graves in Turkey, Greece and Italy. | :01:53. | :02:01.
I'm going to play you one of the reports we have. | :02:02. | :02:03.
It's by Rami Ruhayem on the island of Lesbos in Greece. | :02:04. | :02:17.
There are hundreds who have been lost at sea or found but not | :02:18. | :02:23.
identified. And their relatives scattered across | :02:24. | :02:26.
the globe are left with a lingering pain that could haunt them for the | :02:27. | :02:29.
rest of their lives. In the last two years more than | :02:30. | :02:33.
8,000 peel have died trying to reach Europe. On average at least one | :02:34. | :02:38.
person each day has been buried in an unmarked grave. Which you see in | :02:39. | :02:43.
these red dots, scattered across Italy, Greece and Turkey. | :02:44. | :02:48.
More than 70 of the burial sites have been found as part of this BBC | :02:49. | :02:51.
investigation. The cemetery in Lesbos is one of | :02:52. | :02:56.
them, with dozens of bodies. Most of them unidentified. | :02:57. | :03:01.
Some are recovered when the boats they were on capsize. Others wash up | :03:02. | :03:06.
ashore, days or even weeks later. Many relatives of the missing are | :03:07. | :03:09.
desperately trying to find them. Because of the large number of | :03:10. | :03:12.
bodies found by the Greek authorities they have had to bring | :03:13. | :03:16.
in containers like these. Sometimes the bodies of migrants stay here for | :03:17. | :03:22.
days or weeks, or even months. Many of those who brave death to | :03:23. | :03:26.
reach Europe leave relatives behind. With the hope of some day seeing | :03:27. | :03:31.
them again. But those lost along the trail leave a darker kind offing. No | :03:32. | :03:38.
longer for reunion, only for closure. If you want background on | :03:39. | :03:44.
the crisis in Europe and the causes of it which are found further afield | :03:45. | :03:49.
in countries like Iraq and Syria you can do that online threw BBC News. | :03:50. | :03:55.
English football is saying farewell to one its most | :03:56. | :03:57.
West Ham are playing Manchester United at Upton Park. | :03:58. | :04:06.
It's been the club's home since 1904. | :04:07. | :04:10.
But from next season, home will be just a few kilometres away - | :04:11. | :04:16.
in the form of the Olympic Stadium, which you'll all know from 2012. | :04:17. | :04:20.
The match kicked off late because of unwanted scenes | :04:21. | :04:22.
It was largely peaceful, but a few fans threw bottles | :04:23. | :04:29.
Man Utd captain Wayne Rooney said "It wasn't nice. | :04:30. | :04:41.
The coach got smashed up, but we're here now, so have | :04:42. | :04:44.
to prepare for the game and go out and do our job". | :04:45. | :04:48.
West Ham's co-chairman David Sullivan told the BBC "I don't | :04:49. | :04:51.
understand why United couldn't get here at 4pm. | :04:52. | :04:53.
So some needle, but the main thing for the fans is take | :04:54. | :05:00.
One of things that has made English football so famous is the atmosphere | :05:01. | :05:18.
inside the ground. It is not always the biggesty the noisiest and maybe | :05:19. | :05:22.
the best. Upton Park, the bowling ground is a great example of that. I | :05:23. | :05:26.
am here with three fans ready for last match here. Tell me what this | :05:27. | :05:31.
ground means to you? Just so much history, so many good memory, a few | :05:32. | :05:35.
bad ones too. That is all part of being a West Ham fan. The rendition | :05:36. | :05:41.
of Bubble, makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. | :05:42. | :05:49.
# I'm forever blowing bubbles. The song Bubbles, which is almost 100 | :05:50. | :05:53.
years old I think. That will be sung at every game. That is part of the | :05:54. | :05:59.
atmosphere. What makes it different. It does, the moment we have 30 toed | :06:00. | :06:04.
toed xxxx,000 fan, hopefully there will be 50 or 60,000 fans singing it | :06:05. | :06:07.
at the new stadium. The noise will be tremendous. West Ham has been | :06:08. | :06:11.
known as a family club, you are here with wife and daughter I think. Here | :06:12. | :06:16.
we are. OK. Right. What do you think about moving grounds, do you think | :06:17. | :06:22.
it will be different. Yes, it will be very sad the leave here, but | :06:23. | :06:26.
yeah, it is all part of the adventure. You are a young | :06:27. | :06:32.
supporter, you only have good memories associated with this club. | :06:33. | :06:36.
My first game was in 97. My dad brought me up here with my uncle and | :06:37. | :06:41.
we, I saw West Ham triumph 4-3 over Spurs that night and I have never | :06:42. | :06:44.
looked back. Doesn't get much better than that. | :06:45. | :06:48.
Never looked back. Thanks for your time. I am sure there will be lots | :06:49. | :06:55.
more memory to come. They have to November a bigger stadium while | :06:56. | :06:58.
maintaining what has made this ground so famous, the intimacy and | :06:59. | :07:05.
the atmosphere. One football journalist has | :07:06. | :07:08.
highlighted the fact this is no dead rubber at the send end of the | :07:09. | :07:16.
season. The bigger story is qualification. Get fourth you get | :07:17. | :07:18.
into the Champions League, come fifth and you go into the Europa | :07:19. | :07:24.
League. Let us find out how the game is going. Jess is live. I was | :07:25. | :07:29.
reading the reports half-time, Jess, it sounded like West Ham were as | :07:30. | :07:32.
good as Manchester United were poor. Yes, I don't think it should have | :07:33. | :07:36.
started much better for West Ham. Really high tempo start. You could | :07:37. | :07:41.
tell how much they wanted it. Sakho put them 1-0 up after ten | :07:42. | :07:45.
minutesful. He has pulled away from his defender. Received the ball in | :07:46. | :07:50.
from Lanzini and slotted it back the goalkeeper. Questions will be | :07:51. | :07:54.
requested of Manchester United's defence, the player meant to be | :07:55. | :07:57.
marking him, daily bulletined, the ball was in the back of the next | :07:58. | :08:01.
before he realised he lost his man. Minutes later an grown had a goal | :08:02. | :08:08.
disallowed. He bundled the ball into the back of the net. Andy Carroll | :08:09. | :08:14.
has had a one-on-one with David De Gea, as has Dimitri Payet, but in | :08:15. | :08:18.
the last few seconds as I have come do you, it looks like it is 1-1. | :08:19. | :08:24.
Manchester United have got the goal back, Antony marshal has got the | :08:25. | :08:29.
goal. So, as it stands, United do need to win this if they are #24iing | :08:30. | :08:32.
about Champions League qualification. Chasing that fourth | :08:33. | :08:37.
spot. West Ham obviously could still qualify for the Europa League, but | :08:38. | :08:41.
at the moment, it is 1-1 and there is 51 minutes on the clock. | :08:42. | :08:46.
All right. Thank you very interesting. West Ham will be | :08:47. | :08:53.
frustrated with that. As we pull up the BBC live page. You can see it | :08:54. | :08:57.
says West Ham 1 Manchester United 1. If you are not able the see the game | :08:58. | :09:01.
but want to follow it on line you can do so through the sport app. | :09:02. | :09:05.
That is what I am doing while I am talking to you. One of the many sub | :09:06. | :09:12.
plots to that game, is the van Gaal manager of Manchester United is | :09:13. | :09:16.
under big pressure, and there is a lot of speculation if he doesn't get | :09:17. | :09:20.
into the Champions League He his job could be up, and if it the, there is | :09:21. | :09:25.
lots of speculation that Jose Mourinho recently sacked at Chelsea | :09:26. | :09:27.
could be in the running. But maybe he has a better option. We sported | :09:28. | :09:30.
this earlier. Indonesia's sports minister says | :09:31. | :09:33.
he want to appoint Jose Mourinho He says he has discussed a deal | :09:34. | :09:35.
with Indonesian President Joko Widodo that would be worth | :09:36. | :09:40.
?13 million per year. Not the obvious | :09:41. | :09:42.
destination for Mourinho. Indonesia's team is ranked 185th | :09:43. | :09:43.
in the world, and has been banned from international competition | :09:44. | :09:46.
since last year, over government Never turn down the chance | :09:47. | :09:48.
to show you Vladimir Putin This is a common sight, | :09:49. | :10:05.
and he normally scores. Here he is playing in | :10:06. | :10:08.
an exhibition match in Sochi. Mr Putin has the Defence Minister | :10:09. | :10:10.
on his team - including some big As is traditional, Mr Putin wore | :10:11. | :10:13.
the number 11 jersey, and would you know it, | :10:14. | :10:17.
after the first period Mr Putin's We will talk about the Eurovision | :10:18. | :10:38.
song on tes. It is happening this week in Stockholm. Russia in the | :10:39. | :10:42.
form of this man is favourite to win. Steve Rosenberg has been not | :10:43. | :10:46.
just speaking to him but accompanying him on the piano as you | :10:47. | :10:48.
can see. Primary school pupils | :10:49. | :11:04.
have been practising for their Standard Assessment Tests, | :11:05. | :11:05.
or SATSs, for more than a year. There is a lot riding on how | :11:06. | :11:08.
well they do in English, maths and science, for them, | :11:09. | :11:11.
and for their schools. But this morning's tests might | :11:12. | :11:13.
never have happened. Some people have been nervous and | :11:14. | :11:33.
some people haven't really been bothered too much. I was quite | :11:34. | :11:37.
nervous though. The more I went through it I caught up and it wasn't | :11:38. | :11:42.
very hard, it was quite easy. The test might never have happened. | :11:43. | :11:46.
Pearson, the company that supplies the exams mistakenly allowed the | :11:47. | :11:50.
paper on the a secure website. Then a marker leaked it to a journalist. | :11:51. | :11:55.
The leak comes three weeks after another primary school test had to | :11:56. | :11:59.
be abandoned, because it had been mistakenly posted on a government | :12:00. | :12:03.
website. Earlier, tests for four-year-olds had to be suspended | :12:04. | :12:07.
because the three versions on offer were found not to be comparable. | :12:08. | :12:12.
There is absolute chaos in assessment. They should scrap these | :12:13. | :12:17.
tests, certainly not use the results of any that will have been done this | :12:18. | :12:22.
year and talk with the profession about what appropriate assessment | :12:23. | :12:24.
for primary school children looks like. The Government said the | :12:25. | :12:28.
leaking of the test had been an attempt to sabotage the exam but | :12:29. | :12:33.
insipsed it hasn't been compromised. It is essential that people in | :12:34. | :12:38.
positions of trust can be relied upon to act appropriately. | :12:39. | :12:43.
Unfortunately in this case, it appears that one person did not. And | :12:44. | :12:49.
they leaked the Key Stage 2 English grammar, punctuate and spelling test | :12:50. | :12:53.
to a journalist. The Government insists that its | :12:54. | :12:56.
tough new curriculum and the rigorous exams used to test it are | :12:57. | :13:00.
essential for raising standards. The parents have cam plained that the | :13:01. | :13:04.
new tests leave children stressed and anxious, and teachers say not | :13:05. | :13:08.
only do they distort the curriculum but the new tests were introduced in | :13:09. | :13:13.
a way that was rushed and chaotic. But its supporters say the more | :13:14. | :13:17.
challenging tests allowed children's progress to be monitored. | :13:18. | :13:34.
Thank you for being with me here. We are live in the news room. | :13:35. | :13:40.
The Nigerian government has said it is shocked and embarrassed | :13:41. | :13:43.
at David Cameron's remarks to Queen Elizabeth. | :13:44. | :13:44.
He described Nigeria as fantastically corrupt. | :13:45. | :13:54.
It will have more on President Obama confirming he'll become the first | :13:55. | :14:02.
serving president to visit Hiroshima in Japan since the Americans dropped | :14:03. | :14:04.
The referendum over Britain's membership of the EU features | :14:05. | :14:12.
heavily on the News at Ten next in the UK. | :14:13. | :14:15.
Former government minister Ian Duncan Smith said today | :14:16. | :14:17.
that the EU is a force for social injustice. | :14:18. | :14:19.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn says the Union strengthens | :14:20. | :14:28.
Donald Trump and the new Mayor of London Sadiq Khan have been | :14:29. | :14:35.
says is he's "Europe's most powerful Muslim politician". | :14:36. | :14:46.
And you'll remember what Mr Trump's plan is if he gets | :14:47. | :14:49.
Donald Trump is calling for a total and complete shut down of Muslims | :14:50. | :15:07.
entering the US, until our country's representatives can figure out what | :15:08. | :15:12.
Well now, Donald Trump has told the New York Times that Mr Khan | :15:13. | :15:16.
But the new Mayor's not keen on that plan. | :15:17. | :15:26.
It's not just about me, I don't want to be the exception | :15:27. | :15:29.
Donald Trump has said should he be elected as President | :15:30. | :15:33.
of the United States of America, he would ban Muslims | :15:34. | :15:36.
That means if you are somebody who wants to go there on holiday, | :15:37. | :15:40.
wants to go Disneyland, if you're a business person | :15:41. | :15:42.
who wants to do business there, if you are somebody who wants to be | :15:43. | :15:46.
a student in America, because you are a Muslim you could | :15:47. | :15:49.
So while it may be great he has made an exception for me, | :15:50. | :15:53.
it is not about me, it is about my friends, | :15:54. | :15:55.
family and others, from all around the world who want to go to America. | :15:56. | :15:59.
My concern is he is playing into the hands of extremists, | :16:00. | :16:01.
who say it is not compatible to be western and mainstream Muslim. | :16:02. | :16:04.
I think London showed last Thursday it is. | :16:05. | :16:08.
Another furore - and more evidence that Mr Trump's proposal | :16:09. | :16:11.
is unpopular across the political spectrum in Europe. | :16:12. | :16:13.
Here's Anthony Zurcher in Washington. | :16:14. | :16:22.
I don't think it matters to him that much. He has been very came vague | :16:23. | :16:28.
about his plan, he is talking about a ban as you quoted him earlier, but | :16:29. | :16:33.
he doesn't really say how it is going to be implemented. Now he is | :16:34. | :16:36.
talking about an exception, who makes a determine of that? It is | :16:37. | :16:40.
Donald Trump, someone else? He is throwing this out here because his | :16:41. | :16:45.
base likes that rhetoric, they are afraid of so-called Islamic State, | :16:46. | :16:49.
they are afraid of Muslim terrorism as they see it, and so anything he | :16:50. | :16:55.
says is going to appeal to that kind of base fear and he won't say what | :16:56. | :17:01.
it means. I guess what we have seeing here, is the mayor and | :17:02. | :17:06.
questioning it, but do the practicalities matter in heck troll | :17:07. | :17:08.
terms. I don't think it does, I don't think it matters for Donald | :17:09. | :17:14.
Trump's voters, where it might matter is this puts a western face | :17:15. | :17:20.
on the challenge that this ban he has called for presents, when the | :17:21. | :17:25.
more genius US electorate looks at it and sees someone who is the Mayor | :17:26. | :17:30.
of London. We are not talking about a Middle Eastern ally, hee is the | :17:31. | :17:34.
head of a European capital. Can't come into the country or can't bring | :17:35. | :17:39.
his refugees into the country. As far as Donald Trump's base go, it | :17:40. | :17:43.
has proven they are going to stand by him, through thick and thin. He | :17:44. | :17:49.
had a spat with the Pope and that didn't affect his vote totals at | :17:50. | :17:52.
all. They with Donald Trump to the end. You you have had a few days to | :17:53. | :18:00.
digest Ted Cruz, Jon Kay sick dropping out, what is your take on | :18:01. | :18:04.
how Donald Trump is approaching the challenges ahead? He is trying to | :18:05. | :18:12.
make a pivot towards the general election, he is trying to smooth | :18:13. | :18:16.
over some of the rough edge, but there are is fierce resistance to | :18:17. | :18:20.
Donald Trump among Republicans, their office holders who say they | :18:21. | :18:24.
are not the nominee, no matter what. There are a few that are coming | :18:25. | :18:30.
round, but it is going to be a very long-drawn-out effort to try to | :18:31. | :18:33.
unite the party before this Republican convention in July. He | :18:34. | :18:37.
hasn't done it yet. He has to sit down tomorrow with Paul eyian, the | :18:38. | :18:41.
Speaker who has with held his endorsement. We will have to see how | :18:42. | :18:44.
that go, there is nothing set in stone as far as his potential to | :18:45. | :18:50.
present a united face to the party. Let me bring up some copy that has | :18:51. | :18:56.
come in from Reuters. Telling us that Donald Trump says he has | :18:57. | :19:00.
narrowed potential Vice-Presidential picks to five or six and he has not | :19:01. | :19:06.
ruled out Christie. He is talking about governor Chris Christie from | :19:07. | :19:10.
New Jersey. Someone who has been vocal in his support of Donald | :19:11. | :19:14.
Trump. All we know he is saying we don't need another business person, | :19:15. | :19:17.
and there are five or six people in the running. Beyond that, we shall | :19:18. | :19:24.
have to wait and see. OK. From Dunfermline -- Donald Trump to | :19:25. | :19:24.
China. Bizarre story from China next, | :19:25. | :19:26.
about fake jellyfish Police in two eastern provinces | :19:27. | :19:28.
found that two workshops had distributed up to ten tonnes of fake | :19:29. | :19:32.
jellyfish into food markets. The police also produced | :19:33. | :19:34.
this blog post. Jellyfish is very popular - often | :19:35. | :19:36.
sliced and served with a salad. Fake jellyfish is made by mixing | :19:37. | :19:39.
chemicals and contains dangerously These can cause bone and nerve | :19:40. | :19:41.
