Good evening. Hibernian football supporters staged a large-scale

protest after their club was relegated from the Premiership. They

lost on penalties to the championship side Hamilton in the

playoff at Easter Road. After the match, around 500 angry fans massed

outside the ground, calling for changes to the board of the Leith

side. They'd just seen Hibs' stay in Scotland's top tier ended after 15

years. The problems lie within the club. It is a lack of investment.

The team just bottled it. It is what this club means to them. We want our

club back. Hamilton were losing 2-0 after the playoff first leg last

week, but scored in the first half. Then, in the third minute of injury

time, they levelled the scores on aggregate. With no more scoring in

extra time, Hibs mist their first penalty. And Accies goalkeeper Kevin

Cuthbert saved Jason Cummings spotkick, meaning Hamilton are

promoted to Scottish football's top tier.

Scotland's political parties are awaiting the results of elections to

the European Parliament. Scotland will elect six MEPs. Our political

Thank you. We have 17 of the local authorities in Scotland already

declared their results photo 32 but as things stand, the SNP had in the

league, Labour second, Conservatives and UKIP fourth. It looks like two

each for SNP and Labour, wanted the Conservatives and the last place to

UKIP. It could be a SNP edging out UKIP but as things stand it looks as

if UKIP could take their first elected politician of any strike in

Scotland. Recovery specialists have spent the

day salvaging art works and documents from Glasgow Art School's

fire damaged Mackintosh building. Firefighters have been talking about

the struggle to save the building from Friday's fire. Julie Peacock

Work is underway to recreate what has been lost. The art school's all

laser scanning team are recording every detail to make sure they can

restore it perfectly. Firefighters have spent the day limiting the

damage. Glasgow School of Art says it is tragically ironic that a new

fire suppression system was due to be fitted over the summer. They said

they'd is no way of knowing whether it would have made a difference.

Firefighters say it is one of the most difficult places they have ever

had to deal with. It is a very complex fire and it was very hot and

developing very quickly and that makes it difficult for everyone

inside. The intense heat and the smoke. The campus will remain cloud

next week saw the Mackintosh building can be cleared and precious

works stored in other places but the art school will be reopened to
