The Scottish Labour leader, Kezia Dugdale, says her party's

chosen a list of candidates for May's election which combine

But several current members of the Scottish Parliament look

unlikely to be re-elected through the Regional List system.

No wonder she is smiling. Kezia Dugdale has just topped the Lothian

list. Many people sitting around this table are likely to be elected

to. We have got an exciting bunch of faces beer, new blood and

experience, a strong Labour team. Standing on the best platform,

focusing on the value of education to transform people was my claims.

devolution, the party won so many constituencies, it did not qualify

for top up seats. But the rise in the support for the SNP could change

that. The Labour list matters this year because the party is not

A man's been arrested in connection with a shooting

which took place near a school in Bishopbriggs.

A 34-year-old man was injured in the incident in Dornoch Place,

in a two-car crash in the north-east.

It happened last night near Tyrebagger.

And five firefighters have been injured after two fire engines came

off the road on the way to a crash near Inverness.
