The family of the Scottish victim of a helicopter crash in Norway has

said they are devastated by his death.

Iain Stuart from Laurencekirk in Aberdeenshire was one of 13

people on board the Super Puma when it crashed on the

involved had returned to base three days earlier because of a warning

Commercial flights in the UK by this type of helicopter have since been

granted by the civilian aviation authority, but an online petition is

calling on them to go further and remove this type of Super Puma from

servers permanently. It has gathered thousands of signatures, some from

relatives of those killed in other incidents.

The investigation into the cause of the crash continues.

Leaders of Scotland's political parties will meet

in the final TV debate before the Holyrood election tonight.

The leaders of the SNP, Labour, the Conservatives,

the Liberal Democrats and the Greens will all make their final

pitch to the electorate at the event at Hopetoun House.

The last TV debates were held over a month ago.

Brian? Thanks very much. The setting here

may be redolent of history, redolent of the past, that this will become,

in just over an hour, the setting for a very modern, contemporary

political battle. It is the last chance for the five leaders of the

parliamentary parties in Scotland to confront each other. Of course, they

will campaign right until the very close pole on Thursday, the less

will be the last opportunity to confront each other over

independents, and issue dear to the cause of the SNP. To confront each

other over public services like education and health, above all,

perhaps, to confront each other over the question of tax related to

public spending. That is still emerging as the dominant factor in

these elections. For the very first time, the Scottish Parliament has

full control of income tax, rates and bands in Scotland, meaning these

elections matter more than ever before. All the parties will be

trying to gain the votes of the electorate. One little tiny thing,
