Police Scotland has created a network of over 90 police officers

to work with the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender

The specially trained officers are being introduced as one

It comes at the start of a week long campaign to highlight

prejudice against disability, race, religion and

support our front line officers and encounter heat crime issues and also

demonstrates our commitment to trying to support tolerance in

society. The move comes after an independent review said everybody in

society had to play a part in eradicating heat crime.

is from one of our weather watchers. A largely dry evening. The exception

is the far east corner here. The risk of more cloud and cherries in

the morning. But it was the night temperatures could turn chilly as

around, which could be stubborn to clear first thing tomorrow morning.

Plenty of sunshine, the best of which towards the west. Towards the
