Two patient representatives have quit the independent review group

looking at the safety of mesh implants.

campaigners took their fight to the Scottish parliament, the government

set up a review into mesh implant safety. The final report is due to

be published soon. Campaigners claim an entire chapter has been removed.

Correspondence seen by the BBC has shown one member of the group has

raised concerns. The devil is in the detail. I think the ball is in their

court to save this review, but save it truthfully. The Health Secretary

said she will need the women -- meet the women to discuss their concerns.
