Really, the Patriots only have themselves to blame. Yeah, as I

said, New England are death by a thousand cuts, but it means they

have to be precise. They weren't being precise. They were making a

lot of mistakes, some forced and some unforced. Tom Brady and Wes

Welker happens now and then, they're not able to connect. That

would have been a big play, had it happened. Brady, this is

embarrassing, knocked over by the umpire. I think he just fell down

and didn't want to hurt him. From that point on things seemed to go

the Patriots line backers being slow, trying to get back or add to

the pass rush, it worked perfectly. Torrey Smith, instead of running

down field, New England lost Taleeb in the first quarter. Without him

at corner back they were shorthanded, with guys who could

cover. Whenever they needed something it was Anquan Boldin for

a first down, or for a touchdown. Jo Flacco was the guy who looked

calm under pressure and Tom Brady, even though he was sacked only once

in the game didn't and Brady, the great Tom Brady misses out on a

fourth Super Bowl appearance. Flacco with his first appearance,

with Colin Kaepernick as well, two spectacular quarterbacks in what

should be a fantastic game. test on the Ravens defence to stop

that read option and all is going to be formidable. So is the test

for San Francisco, stopping the deep ball that really is the strong

point of the Baltimore offence. It's harbageddon. You see these two

guys on the side lines. When they were having Christmas dinner as

kids, their father was a football coach, might have brought in a

could watch the game in peace. You can't imagine what it will be like.

close. This could be his only chance to get the big ring. Great
