Highlights: Arizona Cardinals v Los Angeles Rams American Football

If and it will be time for these two teams to settle it between the white

line. He will fire towards the end zone. Touchdown! Looking downfield,

going deeper. A one-man wrecking crew. Unbelievable! How did he do

that? Cart! To the win. But unstoppable. Welcome to Twickenham

for highlights of the Arizona Cardinals are up against the LA

Rams. The 20th international series game to be held in London.

So many keys, so many memorable moments over those last 20 games,

but this one, it just feels a little bit different, too divisional rivals

matching up here at Twickenham. Let us look at the table, on top of the

NFC West, we find the Rams. They have as many wins as they had last

time out. The Cardinals are third. They had a win over the Tampa Bay

Buccaneers last week. Osi will guide us through it. This one matters.

This one feels relevant. A huge game, divisional match up, both

teams need to win. Very important matchup. The statistics are great

but these are two teams who are so different from what we have seen.

The Rams completely different from the last time they were in London.

These guys are explosive on offense. There are new head coach has got the

best adult Jared Goff. This is an outstanding young offense. Sean

McVay, a young coach, the youngest in the NFL when he took over the

team but you know him? I have known him since he was a baby! He used to

play with us in Atlanta, he was about 18 years old. We had no idea

he would turn out to be this type of person, an outstanding head coach.

The young guy in terms of coaching, what about the Cardinals? Adrian

Peterson, the old hand of the NFL and he has lifted their side. When

you talk about the Cardinals, you talk about a team with three Hall of

Fame players, Palmer, Adrian Peterson, they are guys who can play

at a very high level. It is not just the impact he has made, but it is

the impact in confidence for the rest of the team. The team needed

this boost in confidence, they have been inconsistent with him coming

in, they know they have a running back. I say this is the one that

feels the most relevant, is this the one where you feel that the rest of

America turns around and says we want a piece of that? This is a huge

game and they are playing this in London. London is here to stay. One

of those who was instrumental in the growth of the game here was Kevin

Cadle who sadly passed away this week. Kevin presented Skype as

Michael coverage of the NFL for years and he was a huge part of the

NFL community in the UK and for many of us was the face of the game will

we were growing up. His warmth and personality and dedication to the

game will be greatly missed. A heartfelt tribute was played to

Kevin here at Twickenham. Our commentary team for this game. The

Rams won the coin toss and deferred. Mid win over Jacksonville last week.

Sean McVay in his first season as head coach and the Rams are 4-2 the

first time since 2006. Bruce Arion 's team are 3-3. Gets up to the 20

and down at the 21-yard line. Too tight ends, the running back is

Adrian Peterson, Larry Fitzgerald and John Brown and Carson Palmer to

put it up for the tight end. Quick start for Carson Palmer who had his

first 14 passes last week against Tampa Bay. You do not want to make

this game solely about Adrian Peterson, Carson Palmer had a great

start in that game last week and he will only get better with a guy like

Adrian Peterson in the background. We will see what he is about. As

Bruce Arians says, the old guys are coming through for the Cardinals.

Larry Fitzgerald shifts. The opening play with 18 yards, here is Adrian

Peterson up to the 40-yard line. Let us check out the Arizona Cardinals

on offense. Much was made about the return of DJ Humphries last week. I

think the addition of Adrian Peterson made them look good. They

have great talent on the outside with Larry Fitzgerald. Expect a lot

of him today. You will see him as a receiver but also in the running

game. On 15,000 yards, receiving. The tight end. No gain on that,

Adrian Peterson. John Johnson, the strong safety for the Rams, not to

make the tackle. When you're talking about the Rams, it is all about the

deep tackle of the defense, they have great talent on the backend as

well. Alex Ogletree will be active in this game against Adrian

Peterson. Wide receivers to the right, Williams, the running back

rows to Larry Fitzgerald. A 1st down. One of the great quarterback

receiving combinations, 1st down at the 13th at the 43-yard line of LA.

Very hard to understand how a guy that leaves this team, second in the

NFL receptions gets this wide open, they are playing man-to-man. Across

the middle, big 1st down for Arizona. Three wide receivers in the

game, Carson Palmer throws, Brown, 24-yard line. Palmer was on target

again from the start of the game. A lot of people will question whether

Adrian Peterson can be a full-time guy here for. Alex Ogletree, that

gives Carson Palmer enough times to win his rout up top. Great catch and

throw, another 1st down for Arizona. Gets a couple of yards down to the

20-yard line. We had a great conversation with Adrian on Friday.

It just seems like this is a good fit and it just happened at a weird

time in the season. It really dead, but Arizona was looking for someone

like this. You lose a David Johnson and your team is deflated somewhat

because of what he meant to be offense. The ability to find a guy

like Adrian Peterson, who was floundering somewhat in New Orleans

brings much liked to this offense. Palmer starts up, drop set off, off

the hands of Adrian Peterson, incomplete. 3rd 8 for the

Cardinals. The challenge for Arizona will be to contain Aaron Donald.

Whoever he is working on, whether it is the offensive guard on either

side, expect him to get a couple of bodies on him. I will be surprised

if he gets many one-on-one opportunities today. Palmer throws.

Wide open, John Brown. Stopped at the 15th. Short of the 1st down.

Good job of rallying for the ball for the Rams. You get into that

situation and if you are LA, you have to be smart, you do not want to

play man-to-man here. This is what the defense does so well.

Rally and zone coverages, always have sound tacklers and be able to

get off the field and set up the field goal opportunity. This will be

a 32 yard attempt. And the kicking is wide to the left, he missed. He

seems to have sell down in the last couple of weeks. Poots this one to

the left and the game remains scoreless. Disappointment for the

Cardinals, we rejoin the game on the Rams first possession. Todd Gurley.

Nice little cut back and Todd Gurley with a carry up to the 43-yard line.

This is quite a running back matchup. On one side Adrian

Peterson, on the other, Todd Gurley. They are both having redemptive type

performances here, Todd Gurley especially. Jared Goff, the outside

was incomplete, hit the ground. Jared Goff in the middle of first

overall picks. Jared Goff last year, when he under Sean McVay is starting

to grow as a quarterback. The quarterback coach, the offensive

coordinator have all put time into Jared Goff and I had the pleasure of

being at some LA games last year and I did not know if this would be the

guy he would turn out to be but so far this season under this

leadership he has proven pretty well. Jared Goff on 2nd down finds

Robert Woods. They have broadened some new receivers, Robert Woods is

one and Sammy Watkins is another, Robert Woods is a reliable receiver

in Buffalo. He will have to have a big day today, I think he is the guy

that Jared Goff is most comfortable with. Three wide receivers. Jared

Goff throws, completes to Sammy Watkins at the 40-yard line of

Arizona, 1st down. Forward to the 39, Trayvon Martin is who is

starting today at a quarterback with a stop. They have been much better

upfront. The biggest additions to me are Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods

on the outside. Putting the pieces around a Jared Goff and they did not

have what they needed last year. These guys are huge assets for the

young quarterback. On the handoff, slipping and falling at the 40 was

Todd Gurley. Check out the Cardinals on defense. They have lost some

guys, they lost Marcus Goldman, expect a lot from Chandler Jones.

Justin Bethel is on the bench. Could drop, completes the Tyler

Higbee at the 35. Jonny Gray is the youngest NFL head coach in history.

-- John McVeigh. -- Sean. He's got enough for the 1st down at the 27.

Let's check out our first flag. REFEREE: Illegal contact, defense

number 27. Tyvon Branch was called. Watch this rout by number 17, Robert

Woods. Loose coverage on the outside there, despite the short yardage the

game. Todd Gurley try to cut it back, nothing there, a loss of a

couple of yards. Nice play by Robert Nkemdiche. Nkemdiche, for the first

couple of years of his career, he has underachieved. It is good to see

him back healthy. He is big and athletic. His motor is running high

and he could be a very effective interior defensive player. 2nd 12.

Free wide receiver left. The handover is to tie the knot Austen.

-- Tavon Austin. He's holding his hand. Is hurting. Keep an eye on his

left hand. That is the one he's holding here. He goes to the

sideline with a hand injury. Looks like he's heading to the locker room

to be checked out by the medical staff. Goff throws in and completes

it. He is down close to the 10-yard line. It is a 1st down for the Rams.

Cooper Kupp, to me, is one of the great young guys in this bleak. As a

rookie, he comes in, so Smart, understands the offense, is able to

get involved in the fence without having the same learning curve as

some of the Rockies. -- rookies. This is exactly what Todd Gurley

does best - direct runs. He is not a shifty back like Adrian Peterson,

who can cut between different lanes. Todd Gurley likes to hit it down

Hill and go fast. We've seen a lot of that from him this year. --

downhill. Goff, rolling, buying some time, and throws it away. Takes a

hit, and it is shoved out of bounds by Kareem Martin. There is

absolutely nowhere for him to go with this football. Tyrann

Mathieu. Todd Gurley out to the right. Throws, and it is incomplete.

Derek Carrier, the tight end, knows Cooper Kupp is the intended

receiver. Broken up by Josh Bynes. He comes in. You can't play

man-to-man, but that gets a linebacker on a wide receiver. I

mentioned earlier how adept Cooper Kupp is inside working in the slot,

but that is a fantastic play on the ball. Now it is Greg Zuerlein.

Straight through. So, the Rams get on the board first. It's 3-0.

STUDIO: We rejoin play with Los Angeles driving again. COMMENTATOR:

Todd Gurley punched through the hole on the 35. Gets about nine. Tavon

Austin turns the corner, he's got great speed. He's such a dangerous

runner with the ball. Tavon Austin down to... You like to me, he is a

running back. -- to me, he is a running back. He has become a very

reliable receiver. They drafted Gerald Everett out of South Alabama

in this second round. They have a good collection of tight ends. There

is a reason they are so high on that position. REFEREE: 5-yard penalty.

2nd down. He was three years old when he left

England and hasn't been back until now, but all his team-mates were

asking him about London. I'm sure he has zero idea. He said, I don't

know, I left when I was three years old! On the 25... Dumped after

Gurley. Down at 20. He came into the game as the leading receiver. The

most receptions on the team. He is the safety valve guide for Todd

girlie. You see why he has the number of receptions he does. He has

learned that not pushing the ball down the field all the time can be

beneficial. He's not the Marshall Faulk style of all-purpose runner,

but he is unavailable capture, catching the checkdown. Gurley takes

the hand, breakthrough, gets six on the play. 1st down run, Rams. After

a gain of six, the up-tempo offense continues. A lot of this is about

getting Gerald Goff to the line of scrimmage. Rushed by Chandler Jones,

he overthrows everybody. Pressure from Chandler Jones, who leaves the

team with seven bag-macs. A nice job by Chandler Jones redirecting. The

one the Gerald Goff doesn't do as well as some of the other young

quarterbacks I have seen is when he's scrambling to his left, being

able to square himself up. Third and short here. We will see of this

Arizona defense can rise up and stop them. Goff throws, and it is

incomplete, a little behind Cooper Kupp. In that situation, you would

love Gerald Goff to be decisive and get the ball out of his hands

quickly, but good coverage on the back end by Arizona. Wets a 33 yard

try on the whole of Hekker. He leads the league in points. Pistons, but

his accuracy has been on point this year. This one from 33 yards. And

the Rams have a 6-0 lead. Here in London England, Gerald Goff leading

two field goal scores. STUDIO: LA couldn't move the ball, so Arizona

have another chance to get things going. COMMENTATOR: Froze, and it is

intercepted. Join up on the return for the 20, and down to the 17-yard

line. -- throws, and it is intercepted. The big kick-off by

Marcus Joyner. He gets his second interception of the year. This is

about what happened up front. Carson Palmer gets absolutely clobbered

trying to make this pass down the field. I can't even see who that

was, it was so quick in getting into the backfield. He lays up a duck for

Lamarcus Joyner. 30 yard return, great return to the line-up for

Lamarcus Joyner. His first interception of the season. Todd

Gurley, outside, fights off one man, and he goes for the end zone. He is

in for the touchdown. This is a great run by Todd girlie, fantastic

run, actually. This is just a bounce play.

Making Josh Malraux Miss there was the impetus to get him in space. He

is a powerful runner this year. -- Mauro. Todd Gurley's eight touchdown

overall. The Rams add to the lead. It is 13-0. STUDIO: Drew Stanton

replaced Carson Palmer on the next Cardinals drive, but again, they

have stalled. We pick it up with the Rams on the move once again.

COMMENTATOR: They are playing like a first-place team. They really are.

Efficient on offense. We haven't seen any mistakes by this young

quarterback. A short pick-up to Todd Gurley. We are at the two-minute

warning. At Twickenham Stadium in London, England. Two minutes to go

in the first half. Rams do not have any time ISremaining. Goff with

plenty of time. Rolls it, throws, and actually threw it away, Todd

Gurley the closest receiver Tippett. Cardinals, whose -- to it. Cardinals

have had trouble scoring here. Picking up a bunch of points but

can't get in the end zone, it's a recipe for losing. They have had

another procedural penalty from defense. Now the third encroachment

penalty on Arizona today. Robert Nkemdiche. REFEREE: 5-yard penalty,

still 3rd down. For penalty of the game for the Arizona Cardinals. --

fourth penalty. Bruce Arians said it has to be about focus., but for me,

Arizona is not focus now. Goff throws and completes it. Well held

onto by Robert Woods, a 1st down after 33, Woods with his first catch

of the game. Two steps in and the ball is. Todd Gurley breaks away. He

stays inbounds and is wrestled down by Tyrann Matthew. This -- Tyrann

Mathieu. He just misses him here. I wonder if his wrist is bothering

him. He is showing his value as a receiver in the backfield. 35 on the

play, and the Rams in scoring position with that strong leg of

Greg Zuerlein. Fires, and it is broken up. The pass intended for

Sammy Watkins, he never saw it coming. Pantomimes Bethea -- onto

one Bethea of, and is one Bethea... What what should he have done on

that play? He should have got to hands on it and got the ball down.

He thought the ball was out of his reach so he went up with one. Credit

to Gerald Goff, he was looking down the field, trying to make a play,

but smartly learning to take these checkdowns and using throws.

3rd 3 for the Rams. Jared Goff. Throws and completes it. Cooper Kupp

again. Jared Goff has also long to throw this football. If he gets that

much time, he will find a receiver and that is what happens. Touchdown!

That is the model of efficiency for Los Angeles. This is the last guy in

football I think who would run this football play. When he crashes down,

he pulls it. He will never be mistaken for an option quarterback

but in the red zone, all quarterbacks are runners. He takes

it in. This LA Rams team are playing better than Arizona at the moment.

Second rushing touchdown of Jared Goff's career, first of the season,

the extra point by Greg Zuerlein is good.

Greg Zuerlein. The kick-off is through the end zone, 41 seconds

remaining in the first half. Carson Palmer in the locker room being

checked out. The passes intercepted. On the interception. He gets it

right in the face. Mark Barron does not have to do anything. He is

looking for John Brown behind him. That is the wrong time to make this

interception. You put them right in the range for Greg Zuerlein for a

field goal. Here is Jared Goff, throwing an 3rd down and the passes

complete. Down to the 18-yard line, looks like he is just short of the

1st down. Great catch by Cooper Kupp. The replay official has

instituted a review of the previous play. Review the play. Tyrann

Mathieu makes a play missed the ball. All the replays come from the

booth upstairs. In the last two minutes of the half. Great pictures

right there, to see exactly that Cooper Kupp did lose that football

going to the ground. Now here is Brad Allen, the official. That is an

incomplete pass. Second and then, the 28-yard line. Please put 30

Higbee to the left. Todd Gurley comes out of the backfield, the

passes incomplete. He is covered on the play by Corey Peters. The nose

tackle went outside with Todd Gurley. Good awareness by Corey

Peters. Arizona was playing man-to-man, everyone's backwards to

the quarterback and who does not go with the runner he will have a tonne

of space going down that sideline. Third and then for their Rams. The

Rams in possession, to widen their lead. Jared Goff. Being pressured

and he is pulled down. Sacked back at the 35 by Chandler Jones. His a

sack of the season. Here comes the field goal. Time winding down, this

will be a 53 yard Drive for Greg Zuerlein. Johnny Hekker. Can they

get it off in time? The cake is through. The leg of Greg Zuerlein.

-- the kick is through. The personal leg, Greg Zuerlein puts three on the

board, LA Rams taking charge in London. Greg Zuerlein is 3-3 on

field goals. I promise you that this is not a stitch up and we would have

made this hall of fame, Eric Dickenson, peer regardless of the

scorer. The LA Rams, what happened out there? It hurts. That is one of

the things we wanted to stay away from was turnovers. I know you're

pretty special but even knew could not have seen this score. I thought

it would have been 28-7, it still has a chance to be there. You want

to play well. The Rams only came here last night, I thought that

might have been too short. I know you have been here a week, you would

have heard all the noise around Adrian Peterson this week. We all

thought he would be the one to stand up and be counted in your old

position as well, why do think he has been missing tonight? We have a

great defense. Arizona against Tampa last week. We did very well. Carson

Palmer seem that injury to him to change things, initially Stanton

comes on and you think there is more left. The offensive line is that

good for Arizona. I said this earlier, I said we would get to

Carson. That is football. Don't worry, when you talk, I do listen

and I seem to remember last season that you said that the Rams needed

to change things up, they did that with a young coach, they did with

the team too, can you believe the change in the side? Yes and no. I

did not see this coming this year. People were excited. This year when

they were 3-1, it was a new team, a new head coach, he was a young guy,

very excited about football. I think there is another win on the way but

that's my will still be there come the end of the game. Let us go back

to it. -- but that smile will still be there. Todd Gurley is having a

nice game up until this point, up to the 24-yard line, picks up a couple

on the play. Todd Gurley with 11 carries, 58 yards, averaging better

than five yards per carry. Plus he has also caught three passes for 40

yards. This has been the theme all day, coming up to the line of

scrimmage, Noel huddling, let Jared Goff make the call at the line of

scrimmage. They have connected very well in this game, ball up to the

41-yard line. This is a well delivered ball even though it is a

touch behind him, makes a great catch and the connection there is

very evident, who his most comfortable receiver is today. 59

yards for Robert Woods on 1st down, slept, regains his footing, rolling

and then decides to run for a couple of yards, takes a head and gets up

to the 45-yard line. Let us check in with Christine on the sidelines. I

am still awaiting word on Carson Palmer, did not see him emerge from

the locker room at half-time. I asked Bruce Arians what would change

and he said nothing. We need him to play the way he has played for us in

the past, we have to run the football better, just 15 rushing

yards in that first half defensively. Thank you. We will keep

an eye on that. 2nd down and six for the Rams. Todd Gurley. Battling for

yardage, gets up to the 47-yard line. Josh Mauro on the stop. It is

interesting that Christine mentioned that there are down, the Rams are

one of the best third-down teams. They have got a third and four here.

We have not seen much pressure at all on Jared Goff when he is dropped

back to pass. I would expect that he will trying get his defense off the

football field. Tyler Higbee, the tide end, all receivers out. He

completes to Sammy Watkins. At the 38-yard line of Arizona, it is the

1st down. I improving myself wrong, a guys at the line of scrimmage and

they play a soft zone. You see the frustration from Patrick Peterson.

Zero pressure on Jared Goff. They pick up another 1st down. Frostee

Rucker went to the sideline under his own power, was jogging a little

bit. Here is Jared Goff, putting it up. Tyrann Mathieu covering Cooper

Kupp. This looks like it will be against Arizona. 5-yard penalty,

automatic, 1st down. It is on Tyrann Mathieu and the fifth penalty

against Arizona in the game. Right there, top of the rout, I could have

gone without seeing that being called, Cooper Kupp had his arm

extended. Trying to push off Tyrann Mathieu. The flags fly. Each team

pointing out the others. Saying this one moved, this one came across. In

fraction, number 95, the fans, 5-yard penalty. It is on Rodney

Gunter. That is at least three neutral zone infractions against

Arizona. It is four. A quarter bag under center, you know he will try

an hard count, it is still a home game for LA. On 1st 5, the past

complete to Todd Gurley, he has got a 1st down, out of bounds at the

20-yard line. Todd Gurley has run for 58 yards. Now four catches. Four

of 45 yards, making 48 yards. Good day for Todd Gurley. Three wide

receivers for the Rams. Tied onto the right side. Todd Gurley, tripped

up, falls forward to the 16-yard line. I just feel like this is a

fantastic plan against an Arizona Cardinals defense that wants to play

fast and physical through the middle. They do not have time to get

into what they want to. They are at the line of scrimmage within 12

seconds of the last play call. Jared Goff is doing an outstanding job

picking out the right play call every time. Jared Goff with time,

waiting, no one open and he was hit as he went through. That time he got

hit. Rodney Gunter got there for it then it hit on Jared Goff. No

pressure again on Jared Goff, he is looking for Cooper Kupp but he gets

doubled. You see Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu. He has got

coverage right there, Sammy Watkins. His primary target, a team is not

available and he has to throw the football away. Here is the 3rd 6.

Jared Goff. It set up for the end zone, too far, Sammy Watkins was

down by the end zone, by the goal-line with Patrick Peterson on

him. That is the matchup of the day, Patrick Peterson is an eraser on

your defense. He normally picks out the alpha dog on the other side of

the offense and tried to run a double move but the miscommunication

between quarterback and receivers is apparent there. Greg Zuerlein. He

will attempt at 34 yard field goal. Greg Zuerlein puts it through. The

Rams head into the lead, another possession, three points on the

board. The Rams 26, the Cardinals nothing. The LA Rams were in total

control, again May force the Cardinals to punt and we join the

Rams on their next drive. The Rams have watched from their own 15. The

Cardinals 21, empty backfield, throws, intercepted. Tyrann Mathieu

on the return, big return and he is brought down. With Carson Palmer

sidelined with his injury, Drew Stanton continued in the center and

failed to spot the Cardinals offense as the third quarter came to a

close. We rejoin the action with the Rams

driving again. COMMENTATOR: Across the 40 to the 42. First time in 20

games that the Cardinals have had an opposing runner go for over 100

yards against them. Todd Gurley, his fourth 100 yard rushing game of the

season, came into the game. His scrimmage yards, over 400 yards,

second in the league. He's having a terrific year. And you pointed out,

a lot of that is because the quarterback is much improved. Tavon

Austin with a catch off the pass from Goff. Gets a 1st down at the

Cardinals 45. Get out in front of Tavon Austin. You're not getting

around that guy. Austin was my job getting that 1st down was made much

easier. You can see why the curtain -- by Todd Gurley is having the kind

of season he's having. -- why Todd Gurley. We will be in New York next

week when the G8 stick on the Falcons. -- when the Jets. Take on

the Falcons. It is the first time that Jared Goff has really seen any

pressure today, not able to complete this throw on the run. Brown with a

1st down, down to the 33-yard line as the Rams continue to grind it out

now. That typifies what the day is for Arizona on defense. Got spread

out on defense, and they turn round and hand the football over on a

draw, and it goes for ten yards and picks up the 1st down. 37 passes,

now 31 runs. No gain on the play. The biggest concern now for the

Cardinals is the quarterback, Carson Palmer, going out with a left arm

injury. We'll find out how serious that is. This is Robert Woods. I was

looking for Tavon Austin. It's Robert Woods on the end of it this

time. He gets involved in these plays. This fence uses a lot of

formations, as short splits by the receivers, stacks, and it allows you

to do these things without giving away what you are trying to do. Look

at the two receivers on either side of the football, close proximity.

Again, this is yet another encroachment. REFEREE: 5-yard

penalty, still 3rd down. How many I stopped counting. Under eight

minutes to go, and the clock moving. It is all Rams. Sometimes you have

days like this. You can't be perfect every Sunday, as well as they played

in the first. This time, they mix it up a little bit. They stopped the

play before it got started. REFEREE: False start. 5-yard penalty. You

feel like they were refining their identity last week with Adrian

Peterson and the energy he brought. Since the second half of last week,

they have been flat. We were talking earlier about their record this

year. They lose, Win, lose, win, it's hard to say what they are as a

team in 2017. He was heading for the sideline and some open space,

Antoine Bethea with the tackle. He has the ability to make moves and

space, shiftiness. It is nice to see him get some yardage here at the end

of this football game. LA Rams are trying to secure their hold on first

place in the NFC West and go five and two for the first time since

2003. A good hold and a good run. He has done a good job. Backing up Todd

Gurley. These guys have had a fantastic day,

and it is because of these guys up front dominating the defensive line

of Arizona. 1st goal for the Rams. Up to the

11-yard line. Rams have had five possessions in the red zone and

scored all five times. Two touchdowns. Good numbers. On first,

Arizona had the first long drive, they get in the end zone and miss a

field goal. Get the bad start and haven't recovered. The defense has

not relented at all. The crosses to Tavon Austin going the other way.

The Cardinals have been strong on the road, especially against the

Rams. They have won the last three road games. You could call this a

road game for both teams, but the designated home team in the game are

the LA Rams. They are making the most of it right here. The Rams will

be in New York to take on the Giants. The Arizona Cardinals will

come back at San Francisco. How about the miles LA have to log?

Across country to Jacksonville, stayed all week, come to London,

5000 miles or whatever, go back home to be home for a week and then get

on a plane across the country again. Who made that schedule? It's

ridiculous. Not kind. The head coach can use that adversity, the

situation that we have no control over, to his advantage. It is

definitely something he is telling his football team - if we do our

job, none of that matters. He has got away. It is in - touchdown,

Rams. Cooper Kupp is a guy, when you look at him, you are saying, he is

not the type of player that he actually is. He is reliable, Smart.

I was talking to his wide receiver coach before the game, and he said,

you can plug him in and he knows exactly what to do. He has a will to

be good at his job. Professional as a young player, and he deserves this

touchdown here. Gate run after the catch by Cooper Kupp, put another

nail on the coffin of this football game. Third touchdown for the rookie

out of eastern Washington. How about this drive - 16 place, 80 yards over

winning 33-0. Congratulations. What is it like being at the top? God. I

haven't been on this site for about format years. I also know how it

feels how to lose. I am level-headed. I will come in, week

in, week out, with the same mentality. Feels good to be on top

right now, but I know how it feels to be on the bottom, so I never

forget that. As it helps having a young, new coach who has change the

attitude of the team? It is always a good change. Everybody has got to be

on their toes. That is what I like about him. So much has been made

about these young guns around the team. Seeing that performance from

them, for you, what does that mean? It gives me the energy to go out and

play. Being one of the oldest guys in the league, I know it is rare to

be playing like I am, but these guys are my energy. I get a chance during

the week to get my body right and get out with these guys. The way

they have worked from day one, they have continued that.

Do you see a team that can go all the way? I see a team with a lot of

ability, but they are young, so it will take focus. The message will

be, the more you win, the more you are putting yourself in these

positions, the expectation will rise and the pressure will rise. It is

about whether we can focus on finish. That is what the end of the

season is like - the guys I beat up, bruised and tired. In the end of the

season, you see the guys who can step up and win. How different do

you feel from this time last year? I'm good. Last year, we gave the

game away. We had about five or six turnovers and still had a chance to

win the game. I'm just proud of the guys on this team. The way we work,

just bringing it, each game. We have got to bring it, game by game, and

get better every week. Is not having Carson in there was different. We

have to figure out a way to pick up the slack. You have seen that change

in confidence and momentum this season, is it easy to going back

that I go back and regain that? We have to know the talent we have in

the room and what we can do when it's all going. We just got to

figure out a way to stay up. You can't miss the signs everywhere

saying Rams win. They dominated, came out in emphatic fashion and

destroyed the Cardinals. We can't get a good game here to save our

lives, Caroline! Lets forget the first part of the show where we said

this would be the one. Scrap that, it didn't happen. The Cardinals

probably stayed in Arizona. I don't know what the situation was. The

quarterback got hurt, so they couldn't get into a rhythm, Adrian

Peterson couldn't get into a rhythm, and they couldn't slow down Rams.

This was a crucial game for the Cardinals to win and they lost. I

think I heard an excuse there. You said Carson Palmer and the injury,

whereas the coach said it would not affect you. That is coach tour, he

will always say that. Of course it affected them. He was coming along a

little bit late over these last couple of games. Although he didn't

start well in this game, if he was in there, he could have got things

going. At Jarod Goff, his stats for last season are a world apart when

you look at how he has performed. Here is phenomenal, displayed

everything. Making all the checks, getting his offense in the right

position. He is having a fantastic season. We could talk about Todd

Gurley, but he is mentioned every time you went to the commentary, he

was that influential. What about the defense for the Rams? One of the

biggest acquisitions was not only the new head coach, but Wayne

Phillips, the coordinator, one of the best we have had for a long

period. He has this defense humming. They were playing fast, furious and

physical. An outstanding job by them today. Who comes out the other end

the better? Who knows? No more predictions? I'm just going to be

quiet! A first time forever thing! Stunned into silence by the Rams.
