-We call them the Little Ninjas.

-We teach with a passion

-because we love what we do.

-We have fun and I teach them to bow.

-and do some warm-ups.

-I teach them how to punch and kick.

-They are ninjas

-up to the age of six...

-as blue and orange sashes.

-From the age of five or six up

-to thirteen is the junior class.

-That involves more discipline

-and more specialized martial arts.

-The adult classes are for

-everyone from thirteen upwards.

-We've had a 75-year-old

-in this class in the past.

-It's Chinese kick-boxing and

-it's health-orientated as well.

-I've been into kick-boxing

-from a very young age.

-I liked punching stuff when

-I was little. I have no idea why.

-My grandfather

-was a Welsh boxing champion.

-That was an influence on me.

-I'm an advanced brown belt

-at the moment.

-I hope to be earning

-my black belt in February.

-In the summer of 2013, I was lucky

-enough to be picked for the GB team.

-I went with

-Richard Hopkins' team to Geneva.

-That was fantastic.

-I really enjoyed it.

-I was lucky enough to finish first

-in the competition.

-I have that medal framed at home.

-Next year, we're going to Italy.

-I'll be taking a big Welsh squad.

-be taking 50 to sixty competitors.

-Championships today in Eirias Park.

-It's happening

-It's been raining a lot.

-There's not a lot of firm ground.

-It's very muddy.

-I'm glad I'm not doing it!

-The children were first to go.

-The boys and girls had under-8,

-under-10 and under-12 races.

-The heavy rain made the track

-heavy, slippery and challenging.

-It was a tough course.

-I've done but quite hard.

-cycling course but I enjoyed it.

-Next, the under-18, over-40 and

-women's races all started together.

-I'm going to ride round,

-I'm not sure I'm going to race.

-It'll be a general pootle but having

-gone to the effort to turning up...

-..I'm looking forward

-to a bit of a ride.

-If I fall off

-at least it's muddy and soft.

-I'm looking forward to crossing

-the line in about 40 minutes.

-On the slopes they

-get off the bikes and run up.

-It's slippery, the bikes get muddy

-and they change them every lap.

-They're very busy cleaning

-in the Pits over there.

-When you do it you ask yourself why.

-After, you feel good

-that you've done it.

-It's hard work

-but it's fun in a strange way.

-Parry, winner of the veterans' race.

-Very happy to win today.

-It's my first win as a vet.

-I'm extremely pleased with that.

-It was drying as the race went on.

-It started off a bit sloppy but by

-It was a really tough race.

-She had a problem with her bike

-so I got her right at the end.

-before I rode the race.

-The chain just kept coming off.

-It was really hard.

-The mud was horrible. I can't even

-describe what it was like.

-It was knee deep. You probably

-could have run it faster.

-It was good fun, it's a great

-course. Really enjoyable.

-It's a really good course though.

-The last race was the men's race.

-because it's my old school.

-so I thought I had to do it.

-I've ridden against him last season.

-He probably got the better of me.

-I think that went pretty well.

-We've had nearly a 100 riders out

-from under-8s up to the veterans.

-lots of women riding as well.

-I think everyone's enjoyed it.

-It's a bit muddy but the course

-stood up quite well.
