-everything about cycling.

-Ems, what can we expect today?

-Lots of people going round

-in circles very quickly!

-There will be crashes and

-really good competition.

-Gruff, you were competing yesterday.

-What is cyclo-cross?

-These bikes are like road bikes

-but they can take some mud.

-The course takes seven minutes to

-complete. They race for one hour.

-A bell is rung for the final lap

-and the first past the line wins.

-I did a lap of the course yesterday.

-The course is quite dry

-at the moment.

-It's very quick and not

-too technical.

-You have to come off the

-bike at some corners.

-It's all about clipping

-in very quickly.

-The camera doesn't

-show how steep it is.

-It's all about being in

-the correct gear.

-There's a lot to think

-about on this course.

-There are some obstacles as well.

-Half the field will not come

-off their bikes.

-It's all about confidence to get

-over those obstacles.

-I would definitely stay on my bike.

-I'd really like to have

-a go at this.

-This goes on for an hour. I

-don't fancy that at all.

-I only do competitions that

-are 3 minutes long.

-Let's take a look at your

-downhill racing.

-I compete in the forests.

-This Was a really slippery course.

-It's all about technique

-in my sport.

-You have to pick the right line

-and be very confidence.

-I also Do Some Mountain Biking.

-If we could combine our

-skills, we'd be brilliant.

-I really enjoyed myself.

-get used to the Course.

-I beat one of the Belgians. They

-are full-time sportsmen.

-There wasn't any pressure on me this

-weekend. It's a real Family Affair.

-It's going to be dry again today.

-We've had quite a dry month so far.

-The course is running quite fast.

-It won't be just about

-technique this weekend.

-Emyr Davies will be in the

-There was a lot of Racing Yesterday.

-On the first day of the event,

-the youngsters were on show.

-Hundreds of children took part.

-The first race of the weekend

-was for the Under 8s.

-With plenty of enthusiasm on show...

-..and an inviting flat course

-there was plenty of excitement.

-The early lead was taken by

-Finlay Storrie from Maindy Flyers.

-The rest of the competitors fought

-hard for the whole nine minutes.

-Evana Lewis won the girls' event.

-Tomos Jones won the boys' event.

-They both represented

-Ystwyth Cycling.

-Congratulations to them all.

-The Under 10 category came next.

-There was plenty of camaraderie

-before the race...

-..but it soon vanished.

-The dry weather meant

-they could fly around the track.

-I hate being at the back in a race.

-I didn't know whether to go with the

-Dutch girl in one of the races.

-I told myself not to panic.

-It didn't feel as if there was a

-right moment to go.

-I was still at the back

-with a lap to go.

-The Ukrainian girl was

-on the blue line.

-I suddenly found a burst of energy.

-I think I might have won the gold

-with a few more metres.

-I was delighted to get

-the silver medal.

-Having a family there

-supporting Me Was Special.

-It is great to bring them

-Down Onto the track.

-I Have worked and trained with

-Chris a lot during my career.

-I missed having him

-around when he retired.

-He was very kind saying that my

-medals were his highlight.

-I got two bronzes in the world

-Championships in 2014.

-I went right back to

-training immediately.

-I Was Pushing It really hard. I

-picked up a knee injury.

-I was out for over a year.

-I thought I wasn't getting

-anywhere with the rehab.

-My friend said that

-..if I didn't have my health.

-There were so many tears and so many

-times when I was giving up.

-It was great to have somebody to

-hug me and say it was fine.
