her Lakeside debut this year, so she is unbeaten up on that stage.

Lisa, having reached the quarterfinals in 2009 and 2012 and

lost both tiles is also in unchartered waters having won her

first match. 131 then, can't be done! You hit 5 first dart. Yeah,

Lisa coming back on 125. So Sharon Prince with a chance on 101. Double

real preach real preach win and she seems to have lost none of

her confidence when she is facing a double, great stuff. I think the

men should be watching this. I like style. Very tall girl stands solid,

in the same way, getting scores. Shannon on 161 with a on the, 140,

food, walking and swimming but not necessarily in that order. You have

to travel - look at the way she lost the first leg in the first set

was on the verge of his first a appearance in the Lakeside semis

for four years but standing in his way is a tall and confident

here every year since reaching semifinals in 205 when he lost to

Raymond van Barnevelle and when he lost to his best mate Tony O'Shea.

They hate playing each other up on that stage but both love the Honey

Talking of match play, you mentioned it, Jim, during

commentary. Just to reiterate. 180 from Darryl Fitton towards the end

of the last set shook Wesley Harms. It was not the right thing to do as

far as Darryl Fitton and the dartboard, but as far as the match

and the stage it was the right thing to do. You saw what happened,

to nick the initiative. Here is number 5. It is. Might have gone

the same way looking for the third dart going in from 180. This is

double 16, 2-0. A great leg from Wesley Harms. He's had a fantastic

fifth set so far since he came back off the break. Heavy scoring.

Perfect finishing. If he was frustrated that he didn't take a 3-

set. If he goes with the throw - but a 3-0 - that is something of

Lakeside stage. It was against Tony O'Shea in an extraordinarily

other, they are feeding off the crowd and they are producing what

is, for the rest of the field, six daunting darts. You can spit on the

final. Darryl Fitton has hit them so far. They are just coming back

up again. Great, great darts from Harms. All three trebles. And

leaving himself on a decent finish as well. 180 - still 171 in this

leg. Bull's eye. Every time he's pulled one into the one, when

looking at 161. 13 for Harms leaves double 16 then for 11 in the sixth

set. Double Dutch delight for Wesley Harms. A touch of the Dutch

around the doubles has been excellent for Wesley. For all the

heavy scoring that we have been constantly referring to - the

percentages check out very tidy as well. Wesley says he's practised an

awful lot, unless the adrenalin is there. He doesn't really get an

awful lot out of it. A little there, not too much more than that, before

he came over here. The adrenalin pumping there, forcing through the

veins of both players, driving each other on. For all the fact that no

doubt he has the sport, and I'm sure that Sparky has plenty of

support from the Netherlands as well. They come every year. Every

year they are wearing their best orange. Darryl Fitton cannot afford.

He's 3-2 down in sets. And a 5- minute wobble will see him on the

brink. So far the pair of them traded blows - punch for punch.

Darryl. Single 19. It's not what the doctor ordered at that moment

in time. That means that Harms will be back - looking at double top.

in this match. Those in the orange think he's on his way. It's a

second-strict semifinal. Darryl Fitton has been in two semifinals,

and twice failed to go the one step beyond. Must win two legs here. The

way Wesley Harms is playing it will be tough to win three sets in a row.

Needs a big score. He has come behind in both of his matches. He

The lights are going out on Darryl Fitton's Lakeside campaign at the

moment. He needs to start with a break and he has a chance of doing

it as well here. Double 16 - he has done it. Darryl Fitton fired up.

Has to win three successive sets. That's the perfect start. He has

broken the throw. He has the crowd on his side. He has fire in his

belly. Or is that another flash? It seemed to come from the same place

as well. Doesn't seem to affect Darryl Fitton's throwing much. He's

not happy at all. He's looking over his shoulder here. Exactly the same

place as last time - or very nearly. Not at all happy, Darryl Fitton.

Talk about that little bit of fire in the belly that can do him good.

You wonder if that may spur him on. Both these players do a good line

in scouls, don't they. -- scowls. They are both, the gentlest people

you could meet. Thinking, thinking, thinking. Wesley Harms. 18 and two

double 20s left him on a finish. He started on the 18. Just out of the

bullseye. He's now not on the finish. Brilliant start. A chance

to break straight back with Darryl Fitton. He's on 165, which he can't

check out, however good his darts are. At least he pressures the

double top. Harms has been in superb bows form so far. Friends

and Wesley's girlfriend watching, cheering. That was a good start.

Again, it's the psychological impact of what he will do for

Darryl. He won the first leg of the set with double 16. Nervous against

the darts. He's broken back straightaway. Two legs away. It's a

little opening here for Darryl Fitton. Harms has found a treble.

away. In his first semifinal appearance. Darryl Fitton - really

up against it now. He's in big trouble. The Lakeside stage has not

always been a happy hunting ground. A first victory since a win against

Scott Waite in the 2009 quarterfinal. A brilliant display

against Stephen Bunting in the last round. After breathtaking darts

from both men, then the opening four sets here - he's Harms that

has been able to take control and run towards the finishing line.

That shake of the head and the shoulders drooping. I wonder if he

thinks it's all over. You can never give up. Sensing glory. She's

portraying what she thought would be a 60 there, with a slight

opening. Finds himself 10 behind. He may have been more behind. He

gets himself to the finish. 25 here. Just has a look at the score board

again. This is -- this will help. This is for the semifinal. Not this

time. Darryl has not thrown his final dart at Lakeside 2013. Which

way is he going - nine or one? It's nine. For double 16. To level the

set. Yes. Well done. Well done. There was a moment in that leg

where we wondered. A shake of the head. It didn't look good. Things

are looking brighter. He's still alive. Sharp exhalation of breath

from Darryl Fitton. Massive double 16 keeps him alive. Yes, it's

against the darts in this leg. All of a sudden it looked as though he

was going home. Could be back to 4- in at the wrong time. It all looks

as though it's going west for Darryl Fitton. Holland's glory not

too far away now. 180 for Darryl. He needs to hit a treble here.

Matched darts for Harms - albeit from 154. Darryl will have another

chance. Watch the Lakeside roof come off if he takes out 156.

Another one of those. Unlucky - unlucky Darryl. This could be his

final dart of the World Championships. He's put Harms under

pressure. The Dutchman is looking at treble 19 and double 6. 18 for

double 16. This is for the match. Nerveless. Brilliant. Darryl Fitton,

the former undertaker has been buried under a barrage of brilliant

Darryl from the number 8 seed. Harms, calm, calculating, clinical.

Talk about a battle of big personalities and reputations.

Robbie Green, AKA Kong, has been a tour de force at darts.

Surprisingsly this is his first appearance at a Lakeside

quarterfinal. He'd have to draw on all the experience and expertise,

he was up against the silver back Tony O'Shea, closing in on a fifth

appearance, and the elusive title that he desperately wants. Both

times he ended up losing the match. In the World Masters in 2009, and

the following year - perhaps, just perhaps he was susceptible to a

little self doubt on occasion, and having 8-set darts to have a 2-0

lead here. He could probably have done with the break. What will he

be like after it. That's one he could have done without. Twice a

losing finalist. He's come close in both of those matches. Much, much

better. There's been 12 180s in this match, and Rob joy has hadate.

A chabs here, -- Robbie has had eight. A chance against the darts.

A chance that has temporarily gone. No possible out for Tony. Great

pressure applied. Three leads double 4, and now double 2. First

leg to Robbie Green. It was against the darts, and you feel that it was

important. First to five sets, through to the semifinal. 4-1 down.

Four for Robbie Green. When he gets into the treble 20, there's a few

who score heavier. Both avid football supporters, Robbie a

football fan, and Tony pitching down at the county when he can. He

always plays in the colours blue and white. Here comes Robbie again.

Treble 19. Knowing that a 20 would have left himself. That's no finish.

170 is a grand-dady. Three 140s for Tony to get to this point. Leads

for a 12-dart finish. Pressure on Robbie here. Treble 18 leaves

double 18. Great dart. Double 18. We really, really needed a whole.

Taking out 110. He's given himself ab outstanding chance of halving

the deficit of -- an outstanding chance of halving the deficit of

checks. Tony O'Shea in 140 mode. That's his fourth in a row. Robbie

Green has been leading a different approach this year. He's been

swimming in jacuzzis on non-game days. He would do it on match day,

but it does something to his fingers. Outstanding scoring from

both players now. 143 in this leg is needed. Disappointing 60, but he

will be back. 10 for Tony O'Shea. Treble 19 leads double 12. That's

what he'll go for. This is for the set. It's half finished now. Double

16 is the target. He's troubled around the double 16s, 14 attempts.

Not the ultimate on that occasion, as he gets the leg back. Another

fun-plus score for Tony O'Shea. A 30 second score of 100 or more.

Look at that. 20 times 40. Robbie will hope to win the set here with

the throw. Otherwise, he's under pressure in the next leg, under

real pressure in the next leg. Every time Tony misses a treble,

Robbie breathes a little easier. He has manoeuvred himself into a

fantastic position to take the fifth set. It's a crucial set for

him, coming back off the break. Couldn't afford to go 4-1 down. 3-2

- he's given himself a fighting chance. -- chance. There's the

maximum. A double top here for Robbie Green. He's one behind. He

really needed to pull one out of the bag. How good was that dart at

double top? The maximum from Tony O'Shea has put him under pressure.

Right in the middle of the bed. Is the momentum heading Kong's way.

Perhaps I should rephrase that, it's not a passive thing. He's

wrestling the momentum back off Tony O'Shea. Treble 19 for the set.

This is the treble 20s, that can't finish. 106 for Robbie Green. 14,

double 16. He requires 16. A strong finish. It looks as though it had

all gone wrong for the Kong, but he sorted it out with four legs. A

sneaky break here for Robbie, and the game will be right back in the

balance. The third little mini session going his way. Plenty of

fantastic displays of character. Here is another from the big man.

140, 180. That's a statement of intent. Nine darts at 46. 11 darts

- yes. Robbie still with the darts in set number 6. I'm starting to

think Robbie in the Masters made it four wins out of four in

significant matches between the two. Also in the first round here three

years ago in Robbie's first ever match on the Lakeside stage. At

this stage, at the England open, he reached this stage, 18 months ago.

All of a sudden - just a little bit of hush over the assembled

thousands here at the Lakeside country club. You sense that they

feel that this is, in fact, Robbie's way at the moment. Needs

to be a big score. It is big. It's not just big. It's the biggest.

Didn't need that, 7.15. 46 - against the darts. Double 16.

Imposes himself after a reaction from the crowd. Yes, he has it.

Steals the darts back, and now he is throwing to take a 4-2 lead. How

quickly things change. We were just talking about Tony Green. 11 darts

and a 15-dart leg. Later - it's all with a silver back again. Back with

a silver back. Robbie at the Belgium open recently, where he

beat Christian Kist in the final. 161. Tony O'Shea looking at double

18. Robbie needs this. Robbie needs this. He knows it. Treble 19 -

would have left double 12. A shake of the heads. More darts for Tony

O'Shea. Two 18s again for Tony O'Shea. Further set. That is the

marker. He's through to the last four. Robbie - what do you have?

This is what he's got. Big support for Tony around the auditorium.

Jill has teaching duties, but will be back for the semifinal on

Saturday. One more day. Back down the motorway to Frenley Green and

roaring support. Look at that. That's how nervous she gets. He

says he could complete the job, not should, but could have completed 12

the better. If you were watching earlier, there was there was the

pro-am at Lakeside. Teaming up with Jimmy Hendriks. They weren't

blaming the tools, but they even swapped darts at one stage in an

attempt to arrest their fortunes. They were whitewashed. The youngest

player and the youngest ref. They'll be back for another go each,

next year. Martin was the pro half of the winner of the pro-am today.

Their first leg with a 12-dart. I think it was with Chris Sargent, a

photographer. Chris thought of little else. Yes, I'll bet. Two

Ronies are in. It's goodnight from me - is it goodnight from Robbie

unlucky. He failed to find a treble in the last three visits to the

ochie. Six darts from 78. What's happening? Robbie will be grateful
