FA Cup Final Score. Nine first round

ties, and here they are. We will

bring all the goals as they go in

and all the drama and talking

points. Two men with me delighted to

see I have an old relationship with

the oldest cup Championship in the

world, Dion Dublin and Michael

Appleton. And four Premier League

games, at the moment it is 1- 02

Spurs in the Premier League and we

will be live to Wembley shortly. But

today is all about the FA Cup -- it

is 1-0 to Spurs. We have Leatherhead

facing Billericay Town. Eilidh

from a sunny but Chile Stadium were

some well nor names are hoping to

fire Billericay Town into the second

round of the FA Cup for the first

time in their history. Former

finalists both plying their trade

now for the Essex club and both have

experienced some European Cup finals

in their past. We have Premier

League experience from Wolves, and

Jamie O'Hara played for Spurs in the

Premier League. Both of those are

injured today but still a lot of

talent in this town and there man

behind it all is the owner and

manager, Glenn. You have big

ambitions for Billericay Town?

Yes,

people talk about the money that has

been invested but it is the time,

the commitment and the desire which

means so much more than the money,

and we mentioned these Premiership

players and stuff like that but we

have over 20 players always as

committed as anybody else, and

fortunately we seem to be carrying a

bit of expectation on our shoulders,

which also makes it a little bit

harder.

I was going to say, you have

someone of Jermaine pennant on the

bench today, and I'm sure there is

an expectation and you perhaps feel

pressure to get this club into the

history books?

Absolutely. I was

away last week with my family and I

was frustrated, it was possible to

beat a league record of ten wins on

the trot, and they drew, so we

equalled that record. We can go

further in the FA Cup than this club

has gone in 120 years so we can't

lose, pressure on us for a number of

reasons.

I believe you have a

pre-match ritual, can you talk us

through?

Yes, singing my song. The

world was my greatest. R Kelly, The

World's Greatest. And we have some

video footage to really get them

going, Kings of the Jungle stuff on

the screen before we go out there.

We wish you all the best and we hope

it all works. Whatever happens, like

you say, Jason, there will be a team

from the seventh year in the second

round of the FA Cup. Leatherhead

have been there before, they made it

all the way to the fourth round back

in the 70s, but it has been almost

40 years since the last venture that

for. Around 1500 expected in here to

see this match today, the biggest

match the club have had since their

play-off final back in 2011. FA Cup

fever is strong in Surrey.

League. And you have a bit of

history with Sutton, Clem?

I was

just thinking to myself, I almost

had a squad number for them last

season, I spent so much time with

the club, that famous night against

Arsenal, but what has been the

lasting legacy of that cup run?

Their chairman is with me. How does

the club compared to this time last

year?

Very similar, really. We

didn't know what would happen at

this time last year. We got through

one tricky tie, the Rovers, and it

will be a tough game today. We are

immensely looking forward to it, and

it was all a little surreal last

year. We still have not taken a toll

in, although we are busy spending

the money, as we speak. It has all

been good, and obviously whether we

can do it again this season remains

to be seen.

It is those legacy

projects, isn't it? Making sure the

money... And I think I am right in

saying it was in the region of £1

million? Not to be frittered away.

In terms of profit we made about

£750,000 and we have been carefully

improving the ground, the

facilities, which is what we said we

would try to do with the money, and

I think there will be a lasting

legacy of that cup run, certainly.

That is the key, isn't it? You have

always taken these little gradual

steps rather than blowing at all in

one fell swoop on the squad?

Absolutely. We have a slightly

larger squad than last year, because

we were a little worried about her

second season in the National

League, because the second season is

always traditionally a tricky one,

but so far we have got off to a very

decent start, and we are lying

fourth at the moment, so beyond our

expectations at this point in the

season.

Having had a taste of FA Cup

glory, you must be desperate to go

again?

I'm not sure I would say

desperate, but, yes, you're probably

right, desperate! We enjoyed it

immensely. It was hard work, little

stressful at times, but of course we

would love to do it all again, and

I'm sure all my colleagues would be

delighted to put all that hard work

in again if necessary.

we drag you from. Lincoln went out

yesterday, obviously. They were the

other big story in last year's FA

Cup. How will Sutton to? We will

them yesterday. What were the pearls

of wisdom that you passed on.

We

have a few new players this year who

don't know the history of the club,

and I wanted to try to impress on

them what the FA Cup means, to us as

players, a club, and you could hear

a pin drop, I think I have never had

a reception like that from players

my life.

We will see what happens if

he manages to win. You have an

interim boss against you, is that

good or bad news for Woking? A new

manager Burns?

It could be. They

will obviously be looking for a

reaction now. Ryan I believe has the

job for three games, so as far as I

am concerned personally it is not

good news for us. We have took up

our game, bring our a game today,

and have to be fully focused,

organisational skills have to be

spot on, good mindset, plenty of

self belief, and just see what

happens.

I mentioned the manager

already, someone who has learned

from Maurizio Pochettino, so just

briefly what you think he can bring

to this team to send them out in a

powerful mind today?

Is a very

manager -- Maurizio Pochettino. They

love him because he gives up his

time at the minute's notice, and

football has changed since my game.

His methods in training, they are we

advanced to what I did, very bright,

probably has a good future in the

game.

Has he got a good future in

the game? A bright Australian as

well, always a can-do attitude, very

positive. Bury have never won and

away cup tie against lowly steam or

have not done so since 1983 and they

are also up against the might of

Woking and Geoff Chapple.

form?

Yes, in recent years they have

lost at sites to the same level as

he bridge. Seven matches to get this

far, and their star man is a waiter

from Barcelona, at the Barcelona

academy, he has 14 goals and six of

them in this cup run. He is one of

the Spaniards in their squad. They

have lost just one match in 20 this

season so they really have plenty of

confidence going into this one.

Athletic. Just wondering in the

studio here, the travelling support,

does it suggest it is the biggest

game in their history?

It is Cornish

quality that is one of their

sporting teams succeeds the whole

county tends to get behind them, so

there are almost 1000 Truro fans who

have made that 600 mile round trip

to the home of a side who are not

too long ago dined at the top table

of English football. Truro, the

White Tigers, to their locals, play

three tiers below Charlton who are

fourth in League 1. I was in the

players are genuinely excited to be

Coventry City are one of the teams

1987 when Coventry won the FA Cup.

Things have changed somewhat since

then with the team residing in

League 2, and 29 places below them

are Maidenhead who have never won in

the FA Cup first round proper. In

fact it was the last century when

they last got a win on the stage,

goes back even further. They were

one of the original 15 teams to play

and allowed me to use that money to

improve the team.

Loved

it. It is the week leading up to the

game, it is incredibly exciting, the

fans and players know they have one

shot, they have to get it right. It

is often down to the manager to say,

if you have been doing well, keep

doing it well. The manager as well

as the players have to change the

thought process.

against Crystal Palace where we lost

Truro City because they are talented

and the likes of Ricky Holmes and

Ben Reeves are dangerous players.

When you play a smaller club in

stature, a non-league side, and you

are the professionals, it is about

patients. Charlton were patient and

played 1- to touch. Difficult for

Truro to move across the pitch as a

unit. The ball went into the box, he

difference.

They will make the pitch

as big as possible, Charlton,

because they like to play through

the birds. Kylie is the philosophy

minutes, we talk about periods in

games where you say to your team, if

is what they will be looking to do.

We have

regrouped well so far, probably

well in it, couple of chances, back

You can't hang

about when are as big a club as

rid of person you need someone ready

If you are playing City it is

a tough afternoon no matter who you

are, it because City more often than

not have the majority of the ball

and when they have it, before City

had the ball in the middle of the

park and kept on playing but now in

the two final third of the pitch,

the middle and the opposing final

third, they are devastating, they

pass an pass and past but go

forward, everything is positive.

When De Bruyne is playing well,

Silver goes under the radar and

Fernandinho plays. They will give

everybody a good game. Arsenal will

have their work cut out. For Arsenal

to get everything today everyone has

to play well, and that goes for any

team playing City.

The difference

from what I have seen this year with

City is they are just as dangerous

when you are in possession, whereas

last season we knew they were good

in possession, we knew they would

have to spend a lot of time without

possession and be organised and make

sure their distances are fantastic,

but this year they also have the

spark, when they win the ball back,

even deep in their own half, in

Friel four seconds you are defending

a shot across and it is constant.

Sometimes you play counterattacking

sides and they may take one or two

opportunities of five or six that

create something. Man City, it is

every time you lose the ball, you

are defending a shot or across.

Do a

team talk, as an assistant manager

of the Premier League club, what do

you say to the players? So many

dangers.

Initially you get your

organisation and setup and you are

aware of areas of field where City

are dangerous, they have key

players, fantastic players but also

key players and for me as a coach, I

would say to the players, get to

periods of the game, if you can get

to periods of the game, the first 20

minutes, the 60 minute mark, and you

are still in it or a goal behind, if

those things happen and you are only

goalless or one down with 60 minutes

various belief in the players.

Actually, we are OK, we are where we

thought all hoped we would be. That

gives you believe.

Do you feel as a

coach that they are a little bit

suspect at the back?

You could argue

that but I think there is a

difference between this season and

last. On the transition I think

there is a hunger for them to win

parts of last season I thought Pep

brought the philosophy from

You know, with

Arsenal, they are fantastic on the

ball, they have had it in fits and

starts in this game, kept it, looked

incredibly pretty, then when you get

to the final third -- when they get,

they seem to choose the wrong parcel

decision or go to wrong, they just

aren't getting it right. When City

have it, they just go bang, bang,

bang, chance. When you keep doing

that it won't work. Arsenal need to

be more resilient and think more,

concentrate more. They are allowing

City to have the ball.

It is

interesting, or when you do concede,

we spoke about reaction, getting

through the next five minutes, when

you somehow have to do it against

the likes of Man City with the

players they have at their disposal,

is find a way of playing in their

half of the field. If your

philosophy or the way you play isn't

particular to go forward or early,

to do so by playing through the

birds and getting a centre halves on

splitting a full-backs...

Which is

what Arsenal do.

Exactly, but with

Man City the way they had these

days, pressing as high as they do,

all of a sudden whether you are in

possession or not the games being

played in your half so it is exactly

what Man City want. They have to

find a way of getting up the field a

little bit because when they do pass

the ball and allow it to them if the

opposition half they will cause Man

City problems.

You sort of game over the

bar when you strike like that. It

The keeper has got nowhere near

that. You don't understand how

difficult that is, waiting for it to

come down and it is over your

shoulder, very difficult technique,

and Jabo Ibehre, I think he was at

Carlisle last year and did ever so

well for them, and at Colchester

before that. Certainly someone who

at the League 1 and League 2 levels

does really well.

Especially when

you have gone down to ten men,

Cambridge United, just getting your

nose in front is so important.

It

is, and obviously, I was going to

say before the key thing from

Sutton's point of view, because

Cambridge added to ten men as well,

obviously they are playing on the

synthetic turf, and Cambridge will

not want to go to Sutton and have to

play on that. The fact they have

their noses in front now will

probably open up the game even more.

Absolutely. Let's go to Jonathan

watching Woking against Bury.

We

have reached half-time and it is

1-1, a really good game, not what

you would have expected, shall we

say, after the goal after 42 seconds

when Woking went behind due to an

error really. It eventually fell to

Michael Smith but he didn't need all

his height, just had to tap it into

an empty net. Bury at that point

were very in charge, bossing the

game. Looking bigger, stronger and

faster. Then Woking seemed to

regroup, came back and they deserve

their equaliser, a lovely left when

Closs met by Jamie Philpott, and

that really seemed to lift them

after 24 minutes and they finished

the stronger team -- left-wing

cross. The interim coach has a lot

of talking to do at half-time, 1-1

and St-mac looking a little uneasy.

And remember Bury sacked their

manager last week. We could possibly

have an upset there. Robyn is

watching Solihull Moors and Wycombe

Wanderers.

worth that he lost against

Peterborough and I am sure there are

happy with the media attention they

are getting at the moment but our

focus is on Truro, or to be fair or

just trailing by 1-0 and this match

was threatening to run away from

them early on, but they are more

than holding their own against the

League 1 side unbeaten in eight,

fourth in the table. The goal scored

ten minutes in by Ben Reeves, cut

back for him by the young Chelsea

Loughney, had too much time really

from our Truro perspective and into

the bottom corner just might -- the

young Chelsea loanee. Taylor

game and win it, it will stand them
