COMMENTATOR: He has done it! You have got to be kidding me. I'm stuck

in the slide! I'm not sure how that happened. But

anyway, that was a bit tasty! As we make our way

inside from The Orbit, this is what's coming up

between now and 1pm. Who better to stoke

the flames than Zlatan? It is two clubs from the same city

and two clubs that want to win the title. A lot is happening in both of

the clubs so there is a lot of things to talk about.

Another of the world's greats - Andres Iniesta - opens up.

Michael's Keane to win the battle of the brothers.

And Clem's been to see the Championship leaders,

Huddersfield, who are fishing for promotion.

And a little bird tells me about a trip to Sweden. In the wild with no

mobile phones, no toilet. It wasn't nice to be fair.

We have West Ham past and present with us for the next hour.

Cresswell, Nolan, St Clare. It is a smashing goal.

Trevor Sinclair, former captain Kevin Nolan,

and current left-back Aaron Cresswell, who's out

with a knee injury but fit enough for us today.

How many weeks until we see you back? Four to five weeks and then I

will be back playing hopefully. This is where you will be doing the

business for West Ham. It looks truly amazing. I know it is very

different to Upton Park, but you were the captain at West Ham when

this was in the planning process and now standing here and seeing the

West Ham colours everywhere, it looks amazing? If you want to move

forward with your club and what they're trying to build here, it is

fantastic for where they want to go. As you said, I was here when they

were planning this. We did a lot of promotion work for it and to see the

actual thing today, it is amazing. Trevor, we will be speaking to David

Sullivan later on, the principal owner, they had Champions League

banners on the first drawing, that's the hope, they want to play European

football here? That's the ambition for the club. I feel they're going

the right way about it. Everybody is not happy. All the fans are not

happy. You've got certain fans, the older generation, they have been

doing to the same pub and now they are having crayfish and avocado

sandwiches and it has all changed for them! What a perfect

opportunity. The rest of the country are quite jealous and they have made

a great job of it. Trevor makes a good point, there will be lots of

fans who don't like it and won't like it for a while. Upton Park was

a special place? Yeah, it was a special place and I was only there

for two years, but this is fantastic. I'm looking forward to

playing here. Kevin, you must have special memories of playing at Upton

Park. Yes, this feels sanatised, but it will feel like home after a

while? It just takes time and everything to bed in. I think,

obviously, bowling everyone has got the special memory or little piece

in their heart which they will always go back to, but this place

can be the next level for West Ham and I think just give them time and

let them bed in and I think it will be a special home for West Ham in

the future. One of the things the manager talked about, he doesn't

like the distance from the dug-out to the pitch. It is a long way to

walk to the technical area. We will be down there later. The dressing

room is probably the biggest you have seen in your entire life. We

will be in there later. The Old Firm - Celtic and Rangers -

are already at it. We shall keep you updated on that

throughout the show. The Manchester derby kicks off

in about 25 minutes. Both United and City go into it

with a 100% record so far. Who better to hear from than

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, # I always try to follow in the

steps of the last man. HR I'm just myself and I don't pretend to be

somebody else. I know what I can do and I work hard for it.

COMMENTATOR: He is Zlatan. I have no reason to pretend to be

somebody else because I don't need it. I believe in hard work. You work

hard, you get paid back and you don't work hard, you don't get

anything back. According to my philosophy because you can have

talent, but talent will not reach you to the maximum top. With

everything you have done, do you feel at home on the Premier League

stage and in Manchester at the moment? I think Manchester United,

the club is making me feel at home. They are making it easy for me and

you can see in people's eyes that they're happy. They're feeling like

they have hopes and now, it is up to us to give them back what they

deserve and if you're a supporter of Manchester United, you deserve to

have a lot of things back and that we will do everything to bring them.

COMMENTATOR: Manchester United going for the kill. A wonderful strike

from Zlatan. There were comparisons with Eric Cantona, does that flatter

you? I think every player has his own story. He has a fantastic

history with the club here. That, nobody will take away from him. He

will remain in the supporters' heart for a long time and probably

forever. I take it as a compliment. I see myself as a winner. The new

coach is a winner also. I like to win. I'll do everything to win. He

thinks the same thing and he won and I won. We won when we were young and

we will win when we are a little bit older and not old! A little bit

older. What sets him apart? What makes him such a special coach? In a

short time he is very successful and he is direct at everyone. He is not

a coach that goes behind your back. He will tell you if you're not good

enough, you're not good enough and I prefer that it is like that. You

played for Pe Guardiola. How would you describe Guardiola today? Today,

I don't know him. I knew him from the time in Barcelona and I think a

lot of things happened from that time until now. Everybody knows he

is a good coach. No doubt. I mean wherever he went, he won. He has

been very successful. So how he works today, I don't know. I

wouldn't care a less because he is not my coach.

COMMENTATOR: For history and for the here and now, the Manchester derby

is hard to beat. The media building up the derby and it is two clubs

from the same city. Two clubs that want to win the title and a lot of

things are happening in both of the clubs. So there is a lot of things

to talk about. Who doesn't like to play the big games? The big games it

is nice to play. It is a fantastic feeling and I try to prepare myself

in the same way like every game because you see the guy who lifts

the trophy, you don't remember one game, you remember the trophy you

lift. Would the Premier League trophy complete everything for you

in your career? It is a big challenge. I won a lot of trophies

and in every country I came, I won. If I could win here, it would be

fantastic. The only thing would be what would they talk about then? It

depends what I want, if I want them to still talk or not! I think they

will always still talk, don't worry. They'll find something new.

Fascinating. Steve with the questions there to Zlatan. We have

moved down pitch-side with these two. We will get their views on the

Manchester derby in a minute. Zlatan plays and Guy Mowbray has the rest

of it. Thanks, Dan. Yes, it has been a build-up of intrigue and sub-plots

that continued through to the team news because a rumour spread that a

player was ruled out. Wide players Juan Mata and Anthony Marshal

replaced. For City, the full-backs changed. Guardiola left out two key

players. That to combat Manchester United's set piece threat. Brava

makes his debut. If you just switched on your TV,

we're Football Focus live from West Ham's new stewed stadium. -- new

stadium. Rashford on the bench. I know you are a fan of him and what

he can do? A huge fan. The way he gets about the pitch. His build up

play. His link up play to the rest of the team. Superb for a young man.

He is fearless and you see him come off the bench and score against

Hull. He got put down to the under 21s for England, you think will he

have a sulk? No, he scored a hat-trick and said, "Don't put me

down here again." He scored the winner last season. I'm surprised

and disappointed for the boy. What about, from your prospective, you

played against him a couple of times last season, he scored the

unbelievable goal in the FA Cup. He is a really raw talent, isn't he? He

is and I remember when he first burst on to the scene and we played

them in the FA Cup and he scored that wonderful goal. I'm sure he

will be giving Jose Mourinho a headache and Sam for England. I'm

really looking forward to him this season. Can we hear him? Kevin, from

your prospective, on the other side of things, many were saying that

Guardiola might not go with any strikers without Sergio Aguero, that

will be interesting to see how that works out? Me and Trev were talking

about him earlier. He is a fabulous player and he has got Sergio Aguero

who is ahead of him. This is his chance. He can prove what he can do

to Guardiola. Guardiola will know his full po continuation and it is

just whether he can do it. It will be interesting to see it today and

I'm looking forward to it. We always build these games up and it is

nil-nil and it is really boring for 90 minutes! But the side angle is

the back story between Guardiola and Jose Mourinho, they are not best of

friends. Guardiola is 7-3 ahead in the head-to-head and the dug-out

tussle will be fascinating throughout the season, Trevor?

Listen, everyone is looking at Manchester in the Premier League,

maybe from the whole of the world as the capital of football. This is a

huge game and for it to come so early in the season, it is a massive

treat for the fans. For either side it is a great way to put a marker

down and say, "Listen, we are the boss of Manchester and we're going

to run the Premier League." So many sub plots and so many different

layers, it is one of them where you don't really need all the sub plots

to a Manchester derby, it is a big enough game as it is, but when you

have these, it adds extra spice and I can't wait. Zlatan is one of the

best players in the world. He made a difference already coming to

Manchester United and they are a big side, aren't they, with pog ba?

Pogba? He Drogba first and he has done the same. He brought Zlatan in

and Pagba and it will be interesting seeing the small lads of Manchester

City against the might today. I'm really looking forward to seeing

what he is about today because he had the needle with Guardiola. So I

think he will be massively up for it. Taking your West Ham hat off for

a minute, Aaron, do you think title wise it will be a straight shoot-out

between those sides, would you throw Chelsea in or Spurs? You have got

Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester United, Arsenal, so I think it will

be exciting and I'm looking forward to playing against them all and it

will be a tough challenge. From a player's point of view, the fact

that two of the top managers are playing in the Premier League, I

know you're not playing for them, it must be something you talk about

before the match? I remember talking to Mark Noble and he was saying it

is going to be tough against Jose Mourinho's side. I'm certainly not

looking forward to playing against them. Trevor, I know it is early to

ask you about the title, do you think it is a Manchester shoot-out?

Not really. I think Chelsea put good performances, they look solid. They

have brought quality in as well. And I think with all the expectancy and

the spotlight on the Manchester clubs I think it might be a good

thing for Chelsea to just sneak under the radar and keep tapping

away with the wins and hopefully they can have a good charge for the

title as well. Listen, you get the kudos of having three or four of the

best managers in the world, it is superb.

Jack Wilshere should make his Bournemouth debut

He's joined his close friend Benik Afobe on the south coast

after moving from Arsenal on Deadline Day.

Jack Wilshere is a world-class player, has a great football brain

and understand everything that is going on on a football pitch. We had

a chat together and he himself was concerned that he would not get

enough competition early enough. The thinking behind this is that he gets

regular football, to come back to what he is, a world-class football

player. For him to go to a club like Bournemouth, coming from Arsenal,

where he has been his grip having the majority of the boring games, it

is going to be a bit of a shock at times. I'm pleased for him that

first he is staying in a Premier League. We hope for him that he

stays fit because we know about his talent. This might just be the

platform he needs. I think it is a really clever move by Eddie Howe.

We are very excited to welcome Jack to the football club. I think a

high-profile name, someone who is regarded as the very best in his

position, can only, I'm sure, help the players that we have to raise

their game to new levels. That is in our thinking. He's friends with

Benik Afobe and had some nice words about us and decided this was the

place to come. It's going to be really interesting

to see if he stays fit, what sort of player he could be for Bournemouth

this season? If he gets regular games come he's going to be one to

watch, isn't he? Yes, we have seen over the years and I think

Bournemouth is the best thing for him. He had options like Roma but he

needs gametime and he certainly going to get it at Bournemouth.

There's no reason he can't go and play every game and I'm sure he will

perform to the level he can. Kevin, we know he is fragile and Eddie Howe

has said this week is not taken part in full training and they need to

manage carefully. That is what is going to be great for Jack Wilshere,

is that Eddie Howe understands what he needs and he is going to be one

of the main men at Bournemouth. No tears or graces about it. He could

not get going at Arsenal because they have so many quality players,

and even when he did get back to full fitness, he was not getting the

gametime he needed whereas as Eddie Howe said, he's not doing all the

training but he is doing what is right for Jack Wilshere and what

will hopefully be right for Bournemouth. That is sensible, he's

a powerful athlete anyway, quite short and powerful and he would

imagine that if he is going into training every week, every day, of

course he will pick up knocks. The best thing if you want to get him

out on a Saturday, which is what matters, keep him wrapped up in

cotton wool of it and keep him fit and ticking over. Then you will get

him on Saturday. Let's get it right. We know what quality he has got when

he is fit and has half a dozen games under his belt, he is one of the

best midfielders, especially in a final third, who is English. Eddie

Howe is one of the most forward-thinking managers and can

get him fit and on the pitch and then Jack can show what he's got. He

was left out of the first England squad under Sam Allardyce, do you

know very well, you played with him at Bolton, Newcastle and I was going

to say here at West Ham but it was Upton Park. It's very confusing, we

keep on moving stadiums! What have you made of England under big Sam,

one game and a fortunate result but is he the right man to make changes,

Kevin? You know him so well. He's the right man at the time. Hopefully

we are going to start winning games, after such a disappointing European

Championships. I think he is the perfect man to go in and make the

changes he needs and I don't think he is scared to drop the big names

or to make the big decisions will stop I think we got a lot of stuff

wrong in the Euros but hopefully now we will start moving forward and you

will see the likes of error and, hopefully, getting called up. We

have a couple of lads who will be playing today here who are going to

be in and around the squad, too. Exciting times and I'm looking

forward to seeing how he handles it. No pressure, Erin, you need to

perform now! He's got to get back in the team first. Four or five weeks

away. Sam Allardyce broadsheet West Ham and did he make an impact on

your career? How did he affect you? He brought me to the club and I

can't thank him enough for it but for me, it was a big step up. Coming

to the perennially, I did not know what to expect and fair play to him,

he took the gamble. Hopefully I've paid him back. In all seriousness,

it must be a name of yours, international football, many people

will say you should have been in the squad for the Euros are now when you

are back fit and playing regularly, surely that is something that is

your aim for the season? Yes, but I've got to get back in the squad

burst! I was one of the people that was saying I thought Erin did so

well last season at left-back. I thought he definitely had

opportunities to be in the squad. -- I thought Aaron. When he is get fit,

it is definitely a carrot for him. There's a lot of love for Cresswell

here. You need to get on the selection board!

Another man who was thought unlucky to miss out on the England squad

He could come up against his twin brother today, Will,

Juliette Ferrington has been to see the Burnley brother.

Michael Keane... Michael Keane, a very good tackle. Can we go back to

where it all began for the memories of playing against Will? It started

off playing on my local field at home with one of my friends who

lives close and Will and he took us to his local team, I think we were

eight and it turned out we were the best two players there and we ended

up winning the league twice and my dad became manager and then we left

and they got relegated! People talk about the band of Brothers. We see

it with other teams but Burnley seem to have something really special. It

is basically down to the manager and the staff, the players he brings in,

the team spirit is bullied, we do quite a lot together off the pitch,

quite often the same back four plays and we know each other and you saw

that against Liverpool. The manager said it's probably the best easy.

Andre Gray looking to turn inside! -- best he has seen. Are you more

comfortable in the Premier League this time? Yeah, I think with the

early win, it takes the weight off the shoulders and we can relax. We

are confident after last season, 23 games unbeaten and we brought back

into the start of the year, unlucky against Swansea but we take a lot

from the few games already this year and hopefully we can build on it.

Burnley had to battle hard to keep Michael Keane at the club over the

summer with Leicester making three bids but Keane starts in a claret

jersey. He must have pulled off a masterstroke to bring you here, ?2

million or so, a couple of years ago and now you were rated ?17 million

in the summer. Yeah, it's one of those things that at the time, I was

disappointed to leave Manchester United and I thought maybe given a

few more chances I could have done well there but I came here and got

on with it and the manager has helped me in abundance. The bids

coming in the summer were flattering. You don't mind the price

tag then? The higher, the better, it shows you are doing well and if

someone is willing to pay that for you, you must be doing well. There

was a contract on the table as well. Are you a contract rebel? Not at

all, it is one of those things, it is a tough decision and you have to

think about it properly, your future. At the minute, I'm really

happy at Burnley and a massive season for me, my first full season

in the Premier League. I want to get as many games under my belt as

possible and take it from there. You're getting rave reviews, Rio

being one of them. He was my idol like United and he always used to

help me and we keep in contact now. -- at United. Do have someone like

that, such a big player at a big club giving advice, you can't ask

for more. To have people like that on your side is brilliant. What

about the England situation? People think you might have got a call up

under the new manager. Does it present new opportunities for you?

Yes, playing in the Premier League gives you a chance to prove you are

good enough and may be the one just gone was a bit too soon, only three

games played but hopefully in the near future, I can prove to the

manager I'm good enough to be in the squad. It is difficult in the

Championship and it's not going to happen but now I'm in the

perennially, it's got to be the aim. -- Premier League.

Let's break through into the tunnel area with pictures of the great

players and West Ham's current team on the walls. Now this place is

huge. I know we have showed you quite a few dressing rooms over the

years on Football Focus but look at the manager 's office, it is as big

as some dressing rooms. It is picked a sofa, any server! About a million

shares and that is where Slaven Bilic will be in a few hours' time.

There's a secret door somewhere. It is this one, it is always a lot,

don't know what is in there. Maybe we will find out later! These are

the West Ham coloured showers. You can't have a football dressing room

without tiles of the team's colours. This is always a big one. Would you

like to see the baths? Yes, if the answer. Have a look, one hot, one

cold, I have reliably been told and one more interesting fact for you is

that when they were designing these dressing rooms, got to close the

door, we were told about that, when they were designing the dressing

rooms, Sam Allardyce was the manager at the time. So he designed a huge

expanse of a dressing room, massive. If you come around here, it is not

quite as big as you might expect it to be because when Slaven Bilic took

over, he redesigned things and made it a bit smaller and cosier so you

could get the atmosphere of a dressing room, where we have the

guys at the moment. When you walk around the stadium, Trevor, you come

in and you think it should be enormous but you can understand why

Slaven Bilic wouldn't want it like that, but so they were in each

other's faces of it. Yes, you want to be together and see each other

and he probably wants to speak to the lads at half-time before the

game, does not want to be shouting over vast distances. It serves its

purpose, you have your own space but it is nice and cosy as well. Kevin,

this is proper, all mod cons. More pressure on Aaron Cresswell but

there are no excuses because the club take care of everything. Yes,

when they designed it, they left no stone unturned. It is top-notch what

they have got now, the facilities and everything. I think they have

the players and this year, they will have a good season. They are going

to find it tough because people will enjoy coming to this fantastic

stadium. You want to walk out on the pitch and produce the best. I think

they will find it tough but I still think they will do well. They will

have to turn the hot water off in the away dressing room to make it

uncomfortable! All the old tricks! Have you got a seat yet? There's a

spare peg here, I'll have to take this one. The facilities are

fantastic, the showers and the hot and cold plunges, all the

facilities. We had a meeting with the gaffer earlier in the season and

he said, "Just because we have a new training ground and new stadium, it

does not mean points on the board". We have to work harder and as Kevin

said, players are going to enjoy coming here where's Upton Park on a

Tuesday night is a different story. Who are the characters question

might give us an insight. Kevin, for me, but he's left now. That the

reason they got rid of him. He was in charge of the music? James

Collins, but his choices are not the best. We'll have to get you back!

There we go, we will re-sign you. Watford will be in the away team

Thursday's The Premier League Show, going behind the scenes

with Troy Deeney and world The old punching machine! Do you

was like, no. The thing is, once you start, you can't stop. Oh, my. I

Trevor has done his hamstring. If we had the GPS on, you would have

covered some distance already but we will keep you moving for the rest of

the programme. This is the running track you might recognise from the

Olympics, running right the way around the stadium underneath the

temporary seating. This is where West Ham can prepare for the game,

they have put some stress balls, hurdles and bikes out here, getting

things ready. This is next-generation preparation, Trevor.

It is superb facilities and I think it is where Usain Bolt was doing his

warm up during the Olympics 2012. They were all down here. A bit of

history. Todd thank you for that, Trevor. From a Watford point of

view, they had a difficult start to the season, one point from their

three games. Where do you think they will go after surprising many people

last time around? Last year, they were the surprise package of the

League. They did really well. I think they've recruited well and

changed manager which I couldn't quite understand, but it will be

interesting. I think they are all bedding in. They will be a tough

team again to beat today for West Ham. But yeah, I think they will be

OK. I think it will be, you know, a bit tough getting to know their

manager and where they go from there. They have started games well.

They have thrown away five points from leading positions. So they

start well, but they don't seem to be able to keep hold of it. West Ham

have to be on their toes today. I was keeping my eye on the West Ham

Twitter feed. What's going on here? They struck together. I don't know

what's going on there. LAUGHTER

He is getting his nose in all the time! When you have been playing

with him last season and hopefully looking forward to doing it again

this season, having somebody like that on the same side of the pitch

as you, what difference does that make? I know what he is capable of

and what he can do. It makes my job easier especially going forward, but

obviously, he has done well last season for West Ham and I'm sure he

will take it into this season, we have seen what he did in the Euros

and he was fantastic and from a West Ham point of view, hopefully he can

continue that on. I was asking the lads what he is like in training.

They are saying he is up there. We have not seen the best of him yet.

It will be interesting to see if he can bring that out this season. If

we had a sprint down here, who would do it? Aaron is injured. Aaron

still. It is probably the correct answer.

Five miles away at the Emirates, over there, five miles is where

Arsenal play Southampton at 3pm and John Motson is commentating on that

one, we can say hello. A new season. We have not seen you so far. If

Arsenal are going to challenge for the title, they have to win games

like this? Absolutely, Dan, it is Arsene Wenger's 20th anniversary as

Arsenal manager on 1st October. Quite a landmark there and of

course, in those 20 years they have never finished outside the top four,

but here he is, only three games into the season, chasing the top

three because they are actually five points behind Chelsea and the two

Manchester clubs at the start of play today. Now the talk among

Arsenal fans this morning is are we going to see our two new players?

The centre-back who cost a lot of money from Valencia, the German

international and another player not as expensive, but nevertheless, an

option in attack. Now, they're both in the squad and I think one or both

might start because knowing Arsene Wenger he will have one eye on

Tuesday's match in Paris against PSG in the European Champions League and

that often encourages him to rest a player or two on the Saturday before

and I'm thinking of Sanchez because I have been told he played both

games for Chile last week, 90 minutes each and has come back very

late. So we might just see a change in the Arsenal team there. As for

Southampton, well their new manager Dan has got quite an act to follow

because it takes some believing that the Saints finished sixth, seventh

and eighth in the last three years in the Premier League. Obviously

under cue man and pot chen owe, but the only bad news for the new

manager and Arsene Wenger as he completes his 20 years is

Southampton have not won on Arsenal territory for 29 years! A beautiful

to Wembley for the FA Cup Final and it is almost as big as the national

stadium. It is gigantic. It is nothing like Everton, Kevin, you

can't even go side by side at Everton, can you? You are going

single file, but as you say, there is plenty of room here. I remember

walking out o play a final for West Ham at Wembley, I mean, this is just

quite as impressive, you know, walking down here now. What are you

like pre-match? Are you quiet? Do you like to get in people's faces? I

think I'm pretty quiet. I like to stay as chilled as I can and focus

on what the job is going to be. As Kev said it is not like Everton

where you stand shoulder-to-shoulder. That's rare

for a Scouser! I'm just saying. I remember Martin key own talking

about the tunnel. He said it was an excuse to get an elbow in. It is the

longest tunnel I walked down. As you come out into the sunshine, you get

that feeling, the smell, the atmosphere, it feels like a proper

serious football ground, doesn't it, Kevin? Yeah, looking at it now, it

looks amazing. Walking out here, I mean, I'm just hoping that West Ham

can hit the ground running here and produce what they did last season

because they have got the players, the squad and the manager and

everyone in place and the facilities here now. So hopefully it will be a

great season for them, but it will be tough because, you know, I'm

enjoying it, I've got a buzz standing here, I imagine what these

Watford lads are when they first walk out in a couple of hours time.

We must reflect on some sad news this week with the passing

of Sylvia Gore, who has died aged 71 after suffering from cancer.

She was an icon of the women's game and scored the first ever official

England international goal, against Scotland in 1972,

after the FA had lifted their 50-year ban on women

I had the pleasure of meeting her on a number of occasions and she was a

wonderful lady and she will be sadly missed.

Cup, Euros, Champions League finals, he has done the lot. Great respect

to him and certainly the Barcelona players respect him and so does

Guardiola. So I think ten years down the line he will be one of the

bring in the principal owner of West Ham. Champions League is exactly

where this club want to be, isn't it? You want to be talking about

realise how good the top four or six teams are in England and we start

the season in four competitions, we are out of one and we would still

like to win the other three. It is unlikely but possible. We have got

Accrington here a week on Wednesday. That is a game which we have made

affordable, we have a board who support affordable family football,

tickets are ?10 for adults and ?5 for children, starting prices. If we

beat Accrington, we are two matches from the semifinal, three matches

from being in Europe again. If you get a decent draw, that is a cup you

can win. Very good plug for your ticket sales! I'll just repeat that,

?10 for adults, ?5 for Jordan! We will have 40,000-50,000 here a week

on Wednesday which is phenomenal for the club and the floating

supporters. Today, we could have sold 30,000 more tickets but we

don't have the capacity at the moment. It will level off over time.

The guys were talking about what Upton Park had and the magic that

was there. Do you miss the ground? No, I think you have to look

forward. The atmosphere is very, very good here, much better than

anyone anticipated. It is the West Ham stadium, much better than anyone

ever anticipated. It is different but you can't live your life in the

past. You have to look forward. This is an unbelievable move for the

club. It puts us at another level as a football team. All we have to do

now is deliver on the pitch and bring in the players and the players

have to perform and the manager has to gel them as a team and hopefully

we will have a good season. David, you say you are very unlikely to win

the league. But Leicester did! That is what I was going to say. The

bookmakers believed it was impossible, made Leicester 5000-1.

No one is 5000-1 this season, even Burnley are only about 750-1 and

Hull, so the impossible has happened. For years, the bookies

have been giving you 5000-1 knowing you have no chance of ever

collecting, taking it every year but by God, they had to pay out last

year and we are all shocked! It is possible but I would say even now,

from where we are, we have given good teams a 6-point start and you

can't pull it back. But it is not impossible to finish fourth. Last

year, there was just a little moment where we had a real chance of

finishing fourth. We conceded too many goals late in the season. You

expect a lot of players back today? Reds we have a lot back today. A

much better team and we expect a much better performance today. I

said, drive, go away, I'm it go away with the questions. You can stay

around for the moment. What about the expectation? Huge stadium,

fantastic facilities, beautiful ground, what about the pressure on

the players, will it be different? I think it is the same of last year.

Football supporters are not stupid. The ground does not give you a

better team. We did very well last year and we would love to do as well

or a little bit better last year and we would love to win a cup or have a

cup final. I'm sure what the players want is what the supporters want.

Last year, Liverpool underperformed and so did Chelsea. They have both

started well. If the old order going to be re-established this season? Is

it the same old top five or six or is somebody like us or Leicester

again, or Southampton or Everton, who have started the season very

well, going to get back in and smashed them to bits? Only time will

tell. That is the most exciting thing in the Premier League. Nobody

knows. Leicester smashed the old order. Southampton got into the top

six. We were seventh, and Chelsea and Liverpool were below us. It is

whether that can continue or is the old order re-established this

Huddersfield, birthplace of rugby league and just over a century ago,

home to a football powerhouse that won the FA Cup and three consecutive

league titles. It is now 45 years since Huddersfield Town were last in

the top flight. Are they on the road back there?

Now, I wanted to be honest with me. Did you know anything at all about

Huddersfield when came here ten weeks ago? One I got the first phone

call, I'd never heard of this city before but it took me five hours on

the Internet and then I got all the information I needed. Did you

encounter a lot of resistance from the players when you brought in the

new regime? Changes in training times, double sessions? The

experienced players like Dean Whitehead and Mark Hudson are very

open-minded, they followed from the first second and I think after four

or five weeks, if they have the feeling, "OK, I get stronger and

better", it is easy because then they followed. It was tough to get

used to. Anyone who says it wasn't is lying because it was tough

especially for someone of my age. It has changed the way we do things.

That is showing in the results. A trip to Sweden and you took it right

back to basics. One idea was if we are able to bring our new signings

very early together, bring them into the wildness, without electricity or

mobile phones, no toilet, it wasn't nice, to be fair... Very low food,

if we are very hungry, you will have to go and catch a fish. I'd heard

rumours about what was going to go on so I started to tell a couple of

the lads, no mobile phones, you are going to be camping every day. They

were like "Seriously, what is going on?" I said I thought with the

camping. They got off the bus, heads and hands, "What are we doing here?"

That was it, there's your canoe and boat, that's it, four days. In these

situations, you have to come together, bond together, and engage

with each other and the more you know, the more you are able to work

through each other. I know it's only five games but you have had a

fantastic start, great victory at Newcastle, a point at Aston Villa.

What is the key for Huddersfield Town staying in the upper echelons

of the Championship? The key is to stay in the present, don't look

forward, be prepared for every single game. Try to be competitive

and make everything as good as we can and make the details right and

try everything to get a result. We are Terriers. We are a small dog. We

are competitive with the big dogs. But we are aggressive, fearless, we

like to be competitive and we always try to our best. I think it was the

American humour as Mark Twain who said it is not the size of the dog

in the fight, it is the size of the fight in the dog. That is true. Very

good! This is exactly what we are. We will not win every game but what

we can promise is we will work as hard as we can and we always like to

be very competitive. That is how to do it, properties and

preparation, working for Huddersfield Town ever done anything

like that in your time? I don't think so and it's not something I'd

be interested in but it has worked in, top of the league with four wins

and a draw, I think so fair play, it is working for them. Next season, we

will prepare for Football Focus by going on a forage pre-season. New

Yes, West Ham have got Simone Zaza on loan from Juventus. They have

been chasing him for a year, and Slaven Bilic was saying how hungry

he is, he's a technical player who wants to score goals and get back

into the Italian team by starring at West Ham as Dimitri Payet did with

the French team after his spectacular season last season for

the Hammers. But I watched Zadar last season at Juventus and he did

not start many games and only got eight goals but I wonder if he will

hit the ground running? In Watford's summer signings, Stefano Okaka, who

did score for Anderlecht la season, 17 goals, he's played a couple of

times in the Italian side and I think he's a good player to bring in

because he will push Troy Deeney and Ighalo a lot harder. Ighalo has hit

a drab spell, a drought in front of goal but now they have real

condition, that will help Watford Drive and their new manager has the

team he wanted brought in so Watford could pick up after what has been a

fairly dismal start. -- will help Watford fried. Stop giggling
