Good evening and welcome, are final one of the season. After 18 races

and 19 months, the Formula 1 circus has come to Abu Dhabi for the season

finale. That may give you some background. We understand Mercedes

have reported Ferrari to the FIA. Mercedes say Ferrari have been

gaining an unfair advantage by using a new team to develop the current

cap. I can understand the arguments, but there are two sides to every

story. If I was a team fighting against Ferrari, I'd have the same

complaint. There's no doubt about it, Ferrari have been using wind

tunnel statistics and winning it for themselves. We will have to see what

the steward opinion is on it. There's still a lot to be decided.

It will take a long time to get the decision, but that's the way it is.

I suppose it all comes to, when does the team you're helping actually

become a rival? In an interview we had earlier today, they said they

are soon going to set up their own wind tunnel facility, so somebody

has been doing it for them. Has it been Ferrari? My guess is that so

the insinuating. When we see the proof of that, if there is proof of

that, that will throw some extra light on the subject. I would not

think Mercedes would go full heartedly into the stewards and try

get a situation they hadn't got some proof about. Other news today was

that Ron Dennis, team boss at McLaren, cast some doubt over

whether his driver Fernando Alonso would even be on the grid next year,

that he might take a sabbatical, which was used to us. It was used to

Fernando Alonso when I asked him if he was going to be on the grid next

year. I have been answering the same question to all your colleagues. As

Daniel Riccardo completed the top six. Mercedes once again annexed the

front row with Rosberg claiming front row in Abu Dhabi. It's going

well, and also further reasons to be starting in front. I'm just pleased

with that. At the moment, I'm faster than Lewis Hamilton and managed to

turn it around. At the beginning of the season, it was costing me a lot

always to lose out to him. But he was found a bit extra and now it's

me that I had a bit extra. So I'm really happy about that. Today was

ecstatic about that that because it felt also met there and I haven't

often managed a lot like that. Usually on Saturday, the point still

count for anything, but today was cool. Nico Rosberg gets his sixth

consecutive pole position. Eddie, where has this performance come from

and where was it when we needed it? Yes, where was it in the beginning

Lewis Hamilton unbelievably has not had a poor position since the

Italian Grand Prix. But he didn't seem too down about it today. Yes,

the first two weren't actually that rates. They weren't particularly

comfortable laps, so I wasn't really surprised. It's not been the best

run of qualifying, but still had three wins out of those, so I'll be

working as hard as I can to improve. He's already in looking ahead to

next year, but he also said it wasn't really comfortable in the

Caribbean. He doesn't seem too worried, he has the World

Championship under his belt. Do you think is take this route off

or do you think the card isn't sitting him? Psychologically, I

think he has what he wanted to achieve. He's jumped over the bar he

said, he's the world champion, and that's really matters in a season of

water racing. He is now in a mindset, he's talking about next

year. Even if Nico Rosberg wins this race, of course it will dent his

bride, but only for the evening and then the next day he will

will see how it plans out tomorrow. I have no idea what were going to

do. If it comes to that, there's always a chance. We haven't seen it

very often, but he's been strongest weekend. He's been very strong. One

has to ask the question then, where could Sebastian Vettel be? Could he

have taken Mercedes? But I do feel that Kimi Raikkonen is so strong

here that I'm not surprised he's up there. Ferrari got it wrong with

Sebastian Vettel today. It was a shocker. I have no idea why he

didn't complete the lap, seem to use. You have to blame the

team and you have to blame Sebastien. Something just didn't

gel. I think they thought they'd is done enough, but they got it wrong.

I think we can expect plenty more tomorrow and you don't want to miss
