Looks like a picked the right time to take a break after last week's

Tonight, a blueprint for success, Darren MacAnthony shares his vision

card. I made a few. It is fair to say that Mark McKay was not overly

impressed. It is an incredible decision by the referee. I do not

know anyone who has looked at it and thought anything different

other than an immediate red card. With three own-goals, the referee

said at half-time he just thought the goalkeeper Stoke Gifford out on

the ground and just mistimed it. Well he, he will look at it again

and seek to feet of the ground and see him hitting him at pace. It was

a horrendous tackle. He was not happy. Paul Jewell was expecting

someone would come on. I think so the referee took a while to make

his decision and really thought about it so I think he was getting

prepared. Laika said, because the ball went out wide it might have

been a saving grace for him. Also it happened in about the 9th minute

of the game. A bit of luck there for Ipswich but they took advantage.

Cardiff are going through a blip at the moment. They have lost two out

of three. It was a great challenge from Delaney. He got in behind the

back four. They came at to the left-hand side and Daryl Murphy

crossed. He did really well going to go wind and then pulling away.

How do you explain this improvement? Format wins on the

spinner. Confidence is high and that is a contrast. Yes, there is

plenty going on at training. We have been good at tackling. That is

a great save and a great recovery. What matters is how you react and

how you recover. Michael Chopra seems to be really flying at the

moment. This is a great Borlin. Michael Chopra came in from a half

I think you should celebrate because emotion takes over. Yes,

five games at the beginning of the year because of personal problems.

I do not know if they have been working on it but when you get into

wide areas they just are ripping balls into the box. If you look at

the Stats over the season and all the entries we have put into the

box there have been enough there. The problem has been keeping the

ball out of the other end. This must really be pleasing Paul Jewell.

simple? We have been playing well and just the belief I think. There

have been games where we have goals and we are not doing that now.

That belief and continuity of winning games and the same team

Peterborough United chairman Darren MacAnthony is a charismatic figure

but it is not often that you hear from him. Tonight we can put that

right. In the Football League chairmen

come in all shapes and sizes but few put themselves above the

parapet quite like Darren MacAnthony. I run my businesses to

a certain extent like a dictatorship. He is full of passion,

commitment and money so let us all get behind him and go forward. That

does not matter what has happened in the past. He will have his third

heart attack! You other guys to play is the bills and me to get the

public in to help you pay the bills and the need to hear from you.

a strong character and not the kind of character to underestimate.

There is only one outcome. That is what happened. There was a period

after that season and after Jim Gannon and he was leaving a we did

not have another manager and I was very despondent about the whole

thing and I thought I had handled it badly. He has probably learned

as I have that the grass is not always greener. He had the bottle

to bring me back and a lot of people question that. For whatever

reason it works between us. I never met the same mistake twice. Make

your mistakes, learn from them and never make the same mistake twice.

That is key. I did make mistakes and it will not make them again. I

said to the fans that if I did I would walk. It may be the fans'

club but is not their ground. It is owned by the council and the

redevelopment has already started. Hopefully 19,000 will be packed

into a new stadium here. The problem is they just cannot feel it.

It is not a footballing city. It just is not. When you're in the

Premier League for the championship, you will not fill the place every

other week. You just will not. go to Peterborough station on a

Saturday morning as the the number of Arsenal and Chelsea stops.

People are going down to London. Posh feel as though they are

banging my head against a brick wall because there was not much

more they can do. Fans moan about the crowds but they understand it.

This is tough times out there and there are a lot of people who

support Premier League clubs are we can only try to make a difference

and score goals and triumph drag people in and slowly build it.

got going. He accepts another being in the championship is a success in

itself for the club and the crowd we get on average and all of the

rest of it. We have got no getting the football club. It is solely run

financially by him because of the gates and all the rest of it. I

think we have a lot to be proud of. A bomb in the championship, is that

what I wanted and I took over? Absolutely. I would love to be in

the Premiership but if we stopped tomorrow and I left I would still

be a happy man. It is not like I did not complete all of my

James within the England set-up. A fantastic athlete and a fantastic

goalkeeper. A little bit of a mix up here. But the boy is composed.

He is a typical thing they are trying to do. Grimsby, Peterborough

and now sold on to Norwich. That is another stepping stone. Let's look

has gone brilliantly. All of a sudden, we all died at once because

I was 35. I was 35 and Brian Gibson was 33, and all of us were in our

30s. And then lead started to play. And we didn't get a kick. But is a

corner and one has the feeling that Leeds have accepted they have got a

match on their hands. They are 3-0 down and they are starting to

have... They have pushed nine men after one hour, Paul 1 -- have one

goal back. And another one. Yes! And Leeds are really back in now

with a chance. 3-2. There would be no further goals. Colchester held

on to pull off one of the greatest dry and killings in the history of

the FA Cup. The only player that didn't play was Billy Bremner. I

did a quiz show in London a couple of years ago and they said, Billy

Bremner used to hold that over us. There was a bit of bother in the

dressing room, and he would say, hey, lads, who didn't play at

Surrey, let me wipe a little bit of tears away. 16,000 in the crowd.

the ground in clothes to make Leeds as uncomfortable as possible. It is
