a tremendous servant to the club and he is an all-round great figure

has put aside for Leyton Orient, but the West Ham fans have the

worry is the distance between the pitch and the supporters. From your

experience of your playing days, does it make that much of a

difference? I don't think anybody likes playing in an arena with a

running track around it because it loses some of the atmosphere. We

understand about the legacy of the Olympic Park and the stadium that

moving to a new stadium will be fantastic and they have a good fan-

base, more supporters, more revenue, better players, but it does not

create a really good atmosphere in a stadium with a running track

around it. I don't think the players would embrace that.

Arsenal in the 5th round. Was that genuinely a positive experience? No

negatives other than going out? whole journey was great. In terms

of the league form it enhanced it. The League form was very good and

there was a buzz around the place in the middle of January or

February, and sometimes in a club there is a bit of Bilal until you

stop picking up towards the end of the season but there was a real

buzz around the season at that point and it nearly got has

promoted. I am sure Crystal Palace fans were hoping goes better than

the weekend. You can talk us changes for the game against

Blackpool away. Gardens caused the penalty and I thought, well done,

and then it seemed like they were holding out. And the inevitable

came. They made the changes. Ian Holloway made three changes after

ideas into the club. You have been his team-mate, his coach and now

his manager. It is all down to! not quite sure of that. He used to

cover me all the time. He has learned from a number of different

people he has played with and worked with. We have to mention the

one goal! Not a free scoring a person, clearly! It was a great

goal and I do not know if he will get another one. But it was well

worth the wait. There is a reason why we are stood here. This is the

spot, QPR at home, 1-0 down. I was not expecting it. I threw myself at

He has seen a few managers off. it a mindset, that it is only a

certain type of player? It is rare. Players move so often now. They

have freedom of contract and they can move around. But loyalty should

be rewarded. It is great that he has got his testimonial. 350 games

with one goal, the law of averages says that one must go in! If you

you need to move to improve that goal tally! Let us have a look at

made sure of the points when Adam Dugdale headed home and Nick Powell

got the fourth. Only a point, but with defeats to Southend and
