We meet a future England goalkeeper and his friend. You can leave him

players, Leicester City. They have a good squad, and you would expect

them to be there or thereabouts. think Matt Mills' Leicester City

career has not taken off. We saw one of his better performances.

settle down, maybe it was the transfer fee or something. Can that

get to that a player? It can affect players in different ways. You

would have to ask Matt, but after tonight's performance, he looks

back to his best. Let us talk about your time at Leicester. Do you feel

slightly harshly treated? We knew that we have to hit the ground

running. There is no doubt about that, given the budget that we had,

and the players that we had brought in. There was this huge amount of

expectation, and obviously, we got away to a good start at Coventry,

but then we sit up in two home games. But I thought we had

recovered. -- we slipped up in two home games. Unfortunately, we had

another couple of poor results, and ultimately, that cost us is in jobs.

Many get your views on Leicester this season. Can you see them being

in the mix at the end? Certainly, yes. You just have to look at the

division over the last two years. You can look at teams like

Blackpool, Burnley and Reading. It is certainly within their reach,

and particularly after tonight's game, it is a tremendous boost for

everyone. It will give them hope going into the next home game that

they can get three more points, and that will push them further forward.

is nothing to drive it on. That is so upsetting to see. Last week, we

were told that there may be positive news. We were told about

possible new investment. But the board say they can't talk to me

because of legal reasons. But all but came was a club statement,

claiming that the protest by the supporters there was -- was

seriously damaging the club's income. It hope to announce

positive news in the near future. The promise of investments is

nothing new. I spoke to one of the director's last August and he

suggested change would happen. Change does not happen overnight. I

hope in a short space of time, we can get some investment. Fans''

frustration is directed at two men, Perry Deakin and Peter Millar. They

were supposed to be behind �8 million of investment that never

materialised. This letter suggests that there was a salary of �100,000

for an unpaid role. We have never had a paid chairman in the history

of the club. We have not had a chief executive pay that kind of

money. It is not a bottomless pit. The boardroom saga has been hitting

the headlines for just over two seasons now. The editor of the

local paper says that any talk of new investment take a lot to

convince the new fans. investment that then -- this

current board brings in will be laughed at by the supporters,

because unless it is �4 million, and they see it in a briefcase,

play will not believe a word these guys say, and anything less than �4

million will be a sticking plaster to a gaping wound. On the pitch,

though, Saturday's win at Rotherham was the boost the club needed. Marc

Richards stepped up to take the penalty and get the three points.

The squad are confident that they can push for a play-off position.

There was a bit of doom and gloom around the club, but a win is a win.

Everyone is fighting for contracts, so they want to do as well as they

can. We need a massive win to get back on track. They also happen

like that. You can also use it as a tool to try and motivate, them

against us situation. Do you employ that siege mentality? I think you

have to in those circumstances. You have to continue to do your job as

best as you possibly can. sympathise with the fans? There is

no doubt about it. They are the people that by the season-ticket

and keep the club going. Season- ticket sales at that level will

certainly out strip any television money or corporate hospitality, so

they are the lifeblood of the football club and the desire to be

treated better than that. You have to feel for Micky Adams, because

his hands are clearly tied in the transfer window. They're still

doing remarkably well, only four points of the play-offs. The it is

tremendous for the players and staff and everybody else. You feel

for the fans. They do not know what is going on. I am sure that Micky

Adams will be using this to the players and the staff, to continue

to do their jobs and to get the success that they can and continue

winning football matches. They have Micky Adams, who has a vast amount

of experience in football and probably has been through this sort

of situation before and knows how to treat it. From League Two to the

Championship. It was an encouraging weekend for

three other clubs. Birmingham and Coventry 1. There was more

disappointment for Nottingham Forest, despite what Steve Coppell

described as a much improved It is a goal for Forest. Any goal

for Forest is welcome at the moment. Coventry City are now only two

points behind Nottingham Forest after a welcome victory over

Matthew Bates put through his own goal. Although Middlesbrough have

managed a consolation, this was Coventry's day. Birmingham moved

into the top six after a convincing 3-0 victory over Watford. Curtis

Davies scored twice before Chris Burke completed the scoring. Later

on in that programme, we will be a meeting the Derby manager. -- the

they were first class to me when I was there. I am sad to see what is

leeway to spend? It was very difficult. We all have a different

remit. My remit was Clear, and that was, or over the three years, to

get my club -- to get the club promoted. If you're working to that

remit, you can only advise, as I have said before, on how to get

over the line, when, at important times of the season, to add to the

squad and change things around and do what you are instructed to do,

which is to get promoted. I do not what Steve's remit was, or what

Steve Cotterell's remit is, it is difficult to common. This is what

Nottingham Forest fans think about # We want our Billy back, we want

our Billy back... # I have great thoughts and feelings

for the club. I really do. I wanted to get into the Premier League. The

job is unfinished. Quite simply, I would love to finish that job, for

the fans and the players that are there and for many good feed people

at Nottingham Forest. There is any part of you feel vindicated? I do

not think there is any doubt about that. It is all about remit. If you

remit is to get promotion, and at times during the season, when

things are needing a left, it is important to you as a manager at to

direct that and to advise on what it takes to get there. You sound as

if there is unfinished business for you? There is. The club deserves to

be in the Premier League and the fans deserve it. The players

deserve it. I am sad to see what has happened. I wish them well and

I have no doubt they will get out of the Troubles. As I said, I wish

them well. Five players out of contract in the summer. That needs

to be sorted out quickly, surely? It is important to sort out long

before and Major the ship stays steady. To make sure the players

minds stay focused. -- make sure they should stay steady.

Which of our teams have not conceded a goal in 2012, and has

only let in four goals since the end of November? The answer is

Derby County, whose goalkeeper Frank Fielding is emerging as a

candidate for England's 2012 squad. He talked about meeting Wayne

Rooney, his friendship with Taylor and why Derby is no home. -- is no

I would not have it any other way. Last August, Frank was called up

Just now, he is concentrating on playing for Derby. Playing for

Derby are something of that I want to do as well as I can at. He is

bubbly and funny. Most of all, he takes his football seriously.

perfect for frying. He lost his father when he was 19. -- for Frank.

Money cannot buy happiness. I am really happy right now. The people

around me a really good and may have been very friendly up until

I know Frank heels from Derek's hometown, is he good enough to be

England's goalkeeper? You never know. He has a hard job at the

moment. Jo Hart has been in fantastic form. He has been

outstanding this season. For Frank, it is going to be difficult. He is

a young goalkeeper and he did well in the Under 21 tournament. If you

get an opportunity in the squad, he has got the chance to show the

staff around him what he's capable of. To get that backing from Nigel

Clough is great, isn't it? It is fantastic for the kid. There are

not too many young English goalkeepers going around. One or

two of the senior ones have elected not to represent their country. It

is a big opportunity for him. He has got to maintain the form he has

shown over the last few months and see what it takes him. Sure.

The Notts County manager Martin Allen despite his players as

magnificent after a late penalty earned them an equaliser against MK

Walsall rescued an equaliser as well, despite falling behind in the
