Hello everybody. We have highlights of two games made in the Midlands.

Aston Villa face title-chasing Manchester City, and a passionate

Black Country derby between Wolves and west Brom. Providing expert

analysis, the housewives's He is here, as is Lee Dixon. So

much to get through, good and bad, including all the action from

yesterday, and Goal Of The Month. Let's get straight to Molineux.

Home is not where the heart is for Mick and his Wolves. They have lost

their last three at Molineux, the most recent a 3-0 whipping by

Liverpool. Their last home success was a 2-1 win over Sunderland two

months ago, but a win over QPR last week will put them in confident

mood. For Roy and his boys, Bairbre signifiers heartache. They haven't

won a top-flight match in February since 2006. Last week they lost at

home just one to, but there away form is good, with five wins coming

on their travels. They won this basis of Derby's back in by October,

as Wolves try and dread West Brom into the dogfight at the bottom.

Bassong makes his home debut. West Brom give a debut to Liam Ridgewell.

Paul Scharner is recalled in Jerome Thomas, denied. Point blank.

if it hadn't been for their keeper making some outstanding saves, I

thought we would have gone in with a considerable lead. We played as

well in the second half as we did in the first, and this time, he

Of course, the bonus I get is that this hat-trick will be in the minds

about supporters for a long time. If we are winning away from home it

is good, I don't care where, as long as we're winning. This was

Wolves's had used to beat of the season and their 4th successive

and truly beaten by a magnificent West Brom. As far as Wolves are

concerned, their home record is a big worry. Lost five in all

competitions at home this year. You can't see where their next win is

coming from. When the manager is down like that, that normally means

the players are looking for inspiration. It was chalk and

cheese because West Brom looked up for it from the whistle. Straight

from the first whistle, they passed forward, ran forward and they

forward, ran forward and they created chances straight away.

Jerome Thomas should have scored early on. Roy Hodgson normally

plays 4-4-2, but they went to 4-3-3. Jerome Thomas and Odemwingie cause

them problems. Odemwingie ran at the defence and the key to this

Getting back to Wolves, December fourth since their last home win. A

faction in the crowd gets angry. is important that you keep your

territory. You don't drop too deep, don't drop off in the box and that

is what Wolves did. Every time they got the ball, they passed it, but

when they lost it, they dropped off. When you do that at home,

especially against a team playing like West Brom, they attack. Foley,

In the end they got away with that one. This is unbelievable. Look at

the distance between the centre- back, Bassong, and the left-back.

Yes, you should say the runner should stay with Odemwingie, but

doesn't come over. Unbelievable. You're in big trouble when your

back four is in this position. Bassong has to come to fight over.

That leaves Marc-Antoine Fortune a in the middle. They regrouped, pass

give space in front of the 18 yard box. Odemwingie cuts in on his left

City's last game, Manchester United have played twice. In cities dreams,

United lost at Chelsea and dropped points to Liverpool. City's reality

is they going to this one off the top of the table and with the

pressure on them. The gap between Aston Villa and the bottom three

was cut to seven points yesterday. James Collins and Marc Albrighton

return. Emile Heskey makes his first start since Boxing Day in the

Premier League and Carlos Cuellar plays at left-back for the first

time in his Villa career. City have Vincent Kompany back, Adam Johnson

starts successive Premier League games for the first time since

October. Zabaleta and Nilmar also bells were ringing for Villa. Not a

brilliant clearing header by Collins. Lovely chest control by

his club's poor form. They have not won at home in the Premier League

The Aston Villa fans expect the players to sweat blood. They did

that. They had only one chance, and Joe Hart is there for this, he is

one of the best keepers in Europe, he is young, I think he can improve

the lot, but he did a good job today. You have been talking about

the silent majority and a noisy minority. It is fashionable. But a

bit of a phenomenon, I would rather see them supporting the team, if

they don't fancy me at the moment, or if they ever do, that is not in

my control. What is in my control is to try and get the best out of

these lads. Can ask your point of view about Carlos Tevez? You have

been talking about the possibility about him playing for Manchester

City. He is a Manchester City player, we are here, we are waiting,

he knows the situation. For us, it is not a problem, if Carlos comes

back, we are happy. Psychologically, how important is it possible to

I have learned how to watch their games, now I do not even hope for

anything, I have watched as a neutral. When they lose, I don't

Wigan are still rooted to the bottom of the table, but three

points at Bolton mean they have closed the gap to the Trotters to

Wigan. James McArthur could not capitalise and Victor Moses had

some good work before Bolton hit back. What a strike! What a strike
