Hello everybody. After finding out this evening that I was pipped to

the England job by Roy Hodgson, I'll try to keep my chin up, as we

offer up highlights from Sunday's two Barclays Premier League games

for you, and we'll chuck in all 25 goals from yesterday as well. In

the studio, the management is here. Stoke boss Tony Pulis, ex-player

Dion Dublin, and fashionista Mark Lawrenson. Tottenham against

Blackburn a little later, but first, we strut our stuff down at the

Chelsea looking for their first victory of the season against

Looks like it is going to be a busy afternoon. John Terry with the

difference on the last day. Blackburn, you fear for them, after

today. Roy Hodgson has been approached and there will be an

interview tomorrow in terms of them taking over former England boss. So,

Harry Redknapp seems like he is staying put. This is a statement

from David Bernstein, the FA We knew that there was a short list,

it is hard to believe. I cannot believe that somebody has not

spoken to Harry Redknapp unofficially to see if he would be

interested. He is the best manager in terms of the English men that

are available. Roy Hodgson might turn of the job down and it could

be that he does a good job, but I think we all thought it was going

to be Harry Redknapp. It might be the right time for Roy Hodgson to

take it. I thought it was going to be Harry Redknapp. For a top job,

you speak to different people, you put out that to those, I cannot

believe that, unofficially, they have not spoken to Harry Redknapp.

I thought he was going to get the job. Like most football people, I

don't think there have been an occasion when everyone, the media,

press, people in football, supporters, have unanimously got

together and said Harry Redknapp is the man for the job and everyone

has agreed. But Wilson has a lot of experience. He picks all the boxes

of managing at international level, he has done a good job wherever he

has been, he is a good coach, and I think he will fit the system with

Stuart Pearce. Roy Hodgson looks like he is the right man for what

the FA want. And his contract being up has got to be a factor. A yes,

to get Harry Redknapp from Spurs would cost an absolute fortune.

Willetts and, through his experience and what he has done

with other teams, I think he has achieved a lot. And it is getting

players onside. Get your players playing for you. Harry Redknapp is

the best manager for doing that, religion has got to try and copy

that. England going to the stomach as underdogs. A bit of perspective.
