Hello, a second morning to you. Welcome to the stadium, home of

Oxford United, going so well in League Two, the FA Cup weekend

continues. What a magnificent Friday and Saturday we have had. Exeter

City and Bristol City almost knocking out Premier League

opposition. Swansea City are hoping their name is not added to a long

list of famous FA Cup third round giant killers. Thomas takes it. What

a goal Mickey Thomas! And it is in! Cardiff have scored!

This is what the FA Cup is all about.

So, amazing memories there. And there is the man himself, Alan

Curtis, now the Swansea City manager. It is a sellout crowd here.

The Oxford United fans have been here since very early on, looking to

meet some of Swansea City's players. Looking very relaxed today. We'll be

talking to Matty Grimes about the dangers of the FA Cup. Midweek we

were looking for a good cup run to kick-start our season. You signed

from Exeter last year, so I guess you know Oxford well. You played

with them in League Two. What do you know about the side? I know they

like to play passing football. I know they have had a great season so

far. They are in the top of the league, so it will with a tough game

today. Good luck, thank you Matt. Thank you. Matty Grimes starts for

Swansea City. He has picked Alan Curtis a strong side today. Let's

talk to kit Simons, former assistant Wales manager, and Chris Todd, who

almost called a massive giant killing yesterday. Oxford United's

fans really fancy this today. They will do. Doing well in League Two.

All the pressure is heaped on Swansea. It is one of those banana

skins. There were no upsets yesterday and Swansea won't want to

be the first one. The pitch is looking remarkable today. Fair play

to the ground staff today. That's right. Oxford like to play football

as well. We know about Swansea's possession football game, so the

pitch will suit them. There is no excuses today. It will be a tough

game for Swansea. Good to see you almost knocking Bolton Wanderers

yesterday. But Michael Appleton will be dressing intolies players there

is the chance of a real upset here today? Yes, they'll be excited about

today. There's a good chance for them. They are on good league form.

Swansea aren't having a great time at the minute. They'll be wanting to

show how good they are. If you want to know more about Oxford United

Football Club Katherine has been doing her homework. When you think

of Oxford, what comes to mind? Universities and lots of them.

You've got University College Oxford, Keble college Oxford, New

College Oxford, Oriel College, Merton... I could go on. Stephen

Hawking, Tim Henman and entertain ter Timmy Mallet. They were once

owned by Robert Maxwell. Oxford's best run was in the 1963-64 season.

And Tony Jones scores. But their finest moment came when they won the

League Cup in 198, beating QPR 3-0. Oxford meet Swansea for the third

time in the cup but two former Swansea City players have played for

Oxford in the past this. Season Oxford are third in the League Two

and have reached the third round of the FA Cup by beating Braintree in

round 1 and Forest Green in round 2. And that's your rough guide to

Oxford. Oxford United are currently third in League Two. They are going

very well under Michael Appleton in what is a tight lead, but one of the

men Swansea City will have to look out for is Kemar Roofe. 13 goals

this season. Very quick and very strong. That's right. He is a good

strong player. I have known him since I took the FA youth team. He

was one of the stars of the show back then. It is good to see him

getting his career going at Oxford with a coach he knows well, Michael

Appleton. And Roofe is one of the players too look out for. Swansea

City will have to monitor him Chris? Definitely. There is lots of good

talent at the lower levels. Lads out there will want to show how good

they are and can play at a higher level. It will be an interesting day

for sure. It is a really good day for players in the lower league,

people like Kemar Roofe? Massively. The cameras are here, the crowds

will be buzzing. Let's hear from the Oxford United manager, Michael

Appleton. He's been talking to Euan Roberts. Michael, you beat two

National League sides in the first couple of rounds. You've got Swansea

City, a Premier League side, at home. Do you fancy your chances? I

think you've got to look at some of the results yesterday. The third

round can bring a bit of magic, as we all know. The reality is if

Swansea turn up on the day and play well it will be a difficult

afternoon for everyone. If they are slightly behind it and we can play

to our potential, which I know we can, who knows? We are expecting

Swansea to make changes to their normal starting XI. You are third

from League Two, they are fourth from bottom. A lot of people are

looking at this game as a real chance for you to go further? Yes, I

don't know if that makes us more dangerous or more predictable.

People will come here expecting the players, rather than us being the

underdogs, as we should be. The most important thing is the players enjoy

themselves. If they enjoy themselves they will relax. They've got the

crowd behind them, it's a full house today. It could be that day where we

walk away with a special feeling. Brilliant. Through for talking to us

the, Michael. Euan Roberts is part of our commentary team. Oxford

United fans are in fine voice. You may be able to see Swansea City fans

have travelled in their numbers. They've backed their side in what's

within -- been a nightmare over Christmas.

COMMENTATOR: A terrible performance. A shocking display. Where do Swansea

City go next? Swansea City have parted with their manager. Tonight

it has been revealed that Swansea's coach, Alan Curtis, is set to take

charge for Saturday's game against Manchester City. It is really

important that they make a commitment to him at least until the

end of the season for the players to buy into what he is trying to do. No

matter which football team you support the one thing you can agree

on is Alan Curtis is one of the nicest men in football. He's been

talking to Katherine. Alan, Thursday, that announcement that you

are staying with Swansea until the end of the season. Have things felt

different this week? Has it brought stability to the club? Probably some

stability. The players, it is important that they knew that

somebody was going to be in charge until the end of the season rather

than more changes again. The players to be fair, the last five weeks or

so have responded to what we've been trying to tell them. That played a

part in my decision to continue until the end of the season. You've

named your team today. Quite a few changes. Are you confident it is a

strong enough team to beat a side flying high in League Two at the

moment? The majority of players have all played quite a number of games

already this season. Even a couple of weeks ago it was more or less the

same team at the Palace where we ground out a 0-0. So I'm confident

whichever team we put out we'll be competitive. A lot of internationals

and good players on the side. Alan, good luck. Thank you. If you know

Alan Curtis, the right decision of the Swansea board to give the job to

Alan Curtis until the end of the season? I think so. There's been an

upturn in fortunes since Curtis has taken over. It was probably the

right thing to do rather than rush it and make the wrong appointment.

They wanted to make sure they made the right one. Giving Curtis time

until the end of the season is the right one. Is it a sensible idea to

give the job to a relatively inexperienced manager? He is Mr

Swansea City. He knows the ins and outs, the back room Steph,

everything. He will give it his best shot. If there is one person who is

going to give it absolutely everything it is Alan Curtis. Some

of the big name players didn't professional in the FA Cup. What you

want from Swansea City players, like Jonjo Shelvey, it is so step up this

afternoon. They are experienced players in the squad. It is his

service that led to a lot of the goals for other players. They'll be

keep to get that player. Shelvey's mental attitude has been brought

into question a little bit. A lot of the Oxford United fans on the walk

to the stadium were saying we really fancy it today, really fancy it.

What do you think will happen today? I'm going to stick with Swansea. I'm

a Swansea man myself. I believe they've put enough players out there

to be capable of winning the match. It will be a tough day but I think

they will get through. Too much Premier League experience? I think

so. They should be too good but this FA Cup can turn up all sorts of

problems. Let's join our match commentary team of review wan

Roberts. And a good morning (Inaudible). Thank you. Both sides

have important league matters on their minds. Oxford want to continue

their push. Swansea City know it is vital to ensure Premier League

survival. But look, the FA Cup still has its allure. More than 12,000

packed into the Kassam Stadium on a chilly Sunday lunch time. Most of

them are hoping that Swansea City will be the first Premier League

side to bow out of the FA Cup at the third round stage this weekend. And

a big day for Ross Barkley. He captained Swansea City for the very

first time. Euan Roberts is alongside me. This is the part the

players just want to get on with this don't they? Yes, it is a

strange one for the players. You saw my interview with Michael Atherton.

The players have been here since half 8. The Oxford players eating

their pre-match meal at a quarter to nine. Oxford United are unchanged

from the team which won 4-2 at Notts County. They have late permission to

play striker Maguire mag, who is on line from Rotherham. Permission

Maguire. The Swans give a debut to full-back Liam Shephard. A big day

for him. Cork cork survives from the starting line-up which lost to

Manchester United. But seven of the side started the swans' excellent

draw at Crystal Palace on Boxing Day. An important period for Jonjo

Shelvey with the Euros in the summer. There's been plenty of

speculation about his future, but Alan Curtis has said he doesn't want

the England midfield er to leave. And Gomis was the talk of the town

when he started the season in sensational scoring form. Goals in

his opening four games. He has netted only once since August. And

13 goals in all competition. Including the one over Forest Green

Rovers to end this planned third round tie for Oxford United. And the

referee is Mr Kevin Friender. He is just behind the supporters. Maybe a

good omen for the Swans. He took charge at recommendably when they

won the Capital One Cup three years ago. So the cost of the coin between

Ross Barkley and the Oxford captain Jake Wright. All smiles it would

seem. And what a great atmosphere. We were here at the end of November

for Newport's visit. We both left the game that night very, very

impressed with what we had seen from Oxford. They played the game the

right day, they passed the ball. They keep possession, but they have

got a goal threat. They have got pace on both flanks with Roofe and

MacDonald. As we've said they've got plenty of goals in their side. But

is the FA Cup a priority for Swansea City this season? Probably not. They

want to maintain their Premier League status. I am hoping the

attitude is right, the preparation's been good and they haven't got one

eye on that huge game on Wednesday night at the Liberty against

England. They've got to concentrate on these next 90 minutes. So it is

Oxford United in League Two ready to take on Premier League side Swansea

City. 54 places between these teams. How much will that count today?

There'll be a slight delay because of the balloons on the pitch.

There's a good atmosphere here at the Kassam Stadium. And that's what

studs are for. So Kevin Friend is waiting for the party beer to be

removed. And Swansea City looking to avoid being the first Premier League

side to bite the dust in the FA Cup this season. Oxford get us under way

for the high noon shoot-out here at the Qassam. An immediate touch for

the dangerman Roofe. You can see that there'll be plenty of

commitment. Emnes the Dutchman. The free kick is taken quickly.

Didn't work out too well. Jordi Amat, a cat larges hammers it away

for Swansea City. Emnes sends Montero, but a good challenge by

Lundstram, the former Everton player. That's a decent chance. It

is good play by Emnes. Puts the defender under pressure. He wins the

ball. But his pass wouldn't good or Montero would have been forward.

Barkley keeps close attention to Kamaru.

Roofe on the ball again. He's seen plenty of touches.

Maguire originally denied the chance to play, but they relented today.

Just that one win at home against West Brom and they really need to

start winning games now. You would expect with this starting XI,

especially the front six, that they should be more than capable of

beating this Oxford side today. Gets his first touch in the Oxford goal.

Both sides have to look back to 1964 for their longest runs in the FA

Cup. Oxford got to the quarterfinal. Swansea City made the semifinals. A

great atmosphere. Superb. It's full. Swansea have sold their allocation.

I think a few, many, many fans here today have expected, are expecting a

cup upset here. Oxford flying in League Two. Swansea not having the

best of times in the Premier League. For me it is all about attitude.

Baldock with the throw. He is on loan from MK Dons. Likes to get

forward. Oxford win a corner. Jordi Amat

happy to put that one out. Kemar Roofe has gone from the left-hand

side to the right-hand side. Wins the corner for Oxford. Barkley got

to it. Oxford have it again, with Sercombe. Gomis holds it up for Liam

Shephard. A big day for him. His Swansea City debut. He is the son of

the former Merthyr player and manager, Gary Shephard. Shelvey

sends Grimes forward. Gomis up ahead. Gomis waits in the middle.

Will Emnes deliver? Took a deflection. And again Kemar Roofe

has seen more touches of the ball than most players. That didn't help

him had much then. Every time an Oxford player gets the ball they are

looking for one man, and that is Kemar Roofe. He will go in the

middle, to that right-hand side. Very confident young man.

Grimes again. Emnes is onside. Gomis waits in the middle... And

Montero... What a chance! What a chance for Montero. It is a great

pull-back for Emnes. Was he offside? That's the question. From here he

looks a yard offside but it is a terrific ball he pulls across.

Montero makes good contact but he really should be hitting the target.

A great pull-back by Emnes. Maybe bounced in front of Jefferson

Montero. Couldn't keep his shot low enough. The best opportunity for the

goal so far. Hasn't scored this season, Jefferson Montero. Played in

the World Cup for Ecuador. Another Frenchman, straight to Lundstram.

Skarz... Shephard plays the material ball to

Cork. If Montero gets going he is really quick. Drives forward. Just

bottled from him at the right moment. Good build-up play. Win the

ball halfway in their own half to Swansea. They move it well.

One-touch football. Shelvey finds himself in plenty of room. He has

got the ability to find the back of the net from that distance. A

disappointing shot in the end from the England man, but he'll be

wanting to impress, having found himself out of the side in recent

weeks. Starting to get a grip on the game,

Swansea. Shephard... And slightly overphysical as far as Kevin Friend

is concerned on Maguire. The material signs are we've got a cup

tie on our hands. It is such an open game isn't it, both sides going for

it. We expected a really good start from the home side. Well, they are

at home. But all credit to the understaff here. The surface is

absolutely second class here. First class, I'm sorry, not second class.

Cork picks up the loose ball. Shelvey again. Gomis was on the move

but overhit by the England midfielder. The better option was to

Marvin Emnes. One defeat in 15 league and cup game for Oxford. So

they are full of confidence. MacDonald goes down the right-hand

side, gets help from Baldock. Said he would like to get forward. A

header from Roofe. Plenty of goals this season. Once again he has

drifted from this left-hand side. He is waiting in the penalty box. It is

slightly behind him, that cross from George Baldock, the right-back. I

was impressed with Baldock. Loads of energy down that right-hand side for

Oxford. Here they come again. And that's powerfully on Ryan Taylor.

Montero now. He wants to take on Baldock for pace. He's had the run

at his marker. There he goes. And wins the corner. That's where

Swansea will want to get in. That's when he is at his best. Best. Had a

magnificent month in August. Was tearing apart. Just knocking the

ball out of his feet. Down the line, getting to it first. It is a

slightly disappointing cross for Montero in the end but he Wednesday

a corner for Swansea. Shelvey with it. Well read by Lundstram. They

have don their homework, Oxford. Emnes has got it all to do in that

corner. Ran out of room. He's under pressure. Wasn't the best throw-in

in the world. Good pressure by Baldock and MacDonald in the end.

Tabanou... A chance for him to impress for Swansea City today. Good

passing by Ryan Taylor. Picks out Shelvey. Both sides like the pass

the ball. It's going be a really good footballing contest. Cork,

season of Alan. FA Cup winner. Montero wants it wide. Shelvey goes

down the middle. Fancies his chances again. The radar is not quite

switched on yet. That was closer than the first one. Probably a bit

further away by Shelvey. But he works the opening well. Went past

one player easily. Gets hold of that shot but not on target, but he is

getting closer. Shelvey has been told by Alan Curtis that he believes

his future remains with Swansea City. His past has been all about

Swansea City. It is a strange one with Jonjo Shelvey. Had a really

good start to the season. Played for England. Lost his way a little bit

since playing for England. Rushed into the cleanerance. Almost hit the

manager, Michael Appleton, with that. L

Alan Curtis will be happy with that stat. They have had their best

chance of the opening 12 minutes. It fell to Jefferson Montero. There

were plenty of changes from the Manchester United game, but the bulk

of this side, certainly the front six, all played against Crystal

Palace on Boxing Day. The back four probably haven't played together

before. You probably would worry in that instance, but there's plenty of

experience in that midfield. Gomis, if he is at his best, he is more

than capable of getting the goals today. There is enough going forward

for Swansea City to get through. Liam Shephard with the throw-in.

Roofe takes it to Taylor. And Oxford are keen to get on with this.

Good turn by Maguire. Roofe again. Roofe does well to hit the cross in

and Tabanou came in from the left-back position. Picked up by

MacDonald. Baldock... MacDonald overlaps effectively. Good crossing.

Just missed Taylor. Where was Tabanou? That was the question.

They've got plenty of commitment. Maguire sends Skarz down the flank.

Maguire won't be happy with that, into the Cloughs of Tabanou. Loughs

clutches of Tabanou. Had limited opportunities because of Taylor's

consistency. Showed his frustrations at times with his comments. Hasn't

played as much football since his move from Saint-Etienne.

Stadium, Baldock is quick, but he's not quick, I'm afraid. Down the

right-hand side. Not the best of passes from Lundstram. There's Alan

Curtis. Dave Allens, who has been coaching since the departure of his

predecessor. I think a decision needs to be made. Talks of certain

managers joining Swansea. A club legend. He has had a reaction from

the players on the pitch in their performances in the five games. He

could just do with a win to get some confidence, get some momentum into

this side before the next two huge home games they've got. 15 minutes

have gone rapidly. A great tempo to the game. Taylor seizes on a loose

ball from Tabanou. Good interception by Shephard. He's got the confidence

to go forward. He ignores Shelvey. He probably should have passed it to

Jonjo Shelvey, in all honesty. Taylor got the touch. A good save by

Nordfeldt. The first time the suite was called into action. Taylor

showed his prowess there. A great ball in, and a good ball across by

Taylor. A lovely glancing header, and they good save by Nordfeldt. Has

to deal with the corner. Only just dealt with it. It all came from the

Shephard making the forward run, losing the ball. Someone should have

been covering him, that delightful ball in from Maguire. A good header

by Taylor. Maguire goes over to take the

corner. Teasing, but too strong. That was dangerous moments. And he

is at. Ryan Taylor forced a really good save from Kristoffer Nordfeldt.

Yes, a really good run across from Taylor. He didn't put too much power

in the header. He knew what he was doing. Just a little glancing

header, causing problems, but not quite enough dip on it to beat

Nordfeldt in the Swansea goal. He joined in the summer. He has had

limited opportunities. If Swansea go away with the win, he will remember

that. He certainly will. It was a good height for him in the end. Gets

a strong hand to it. Both sides with opportunities. I am sure they will

feel... There's Michael Appleton. So close for his side. Good turn by

Gomez. Tried to find Montero, but miscued it. For the keeper,

Slocombe. Great skill by Gomez, and a good turn. -- by Gomis.

Carl Berkeley, -- Bartley, former Arsenal player. It just bounced in

front of him. Swansea just fell asleep with the throw-in. Oxford

take it quickly. They find space in the middle of the park. He had an

option on the right-hand side. Decided to go straight for the

goalkeeper. That's a poor call. Swansea scrambled it away for

another corner. I think that shot actually came off his own player,

Kemar Roofe. Whether it would have found the corner of the net, we are

not sure. Oxford United piling the pressure on. 12 goals for the

Sercombe this season. Gomis does the job, as big strikers do. It is part

of the job nowadays. You've got to get yourself back. Oxford's two

central defenders will go up for every kick.

A poor touch, but saved by Jack Cork. A great ball in once again

from the right-hand side. Macdonald once again. A teasing cross for the

goalkeeper, who could only get one hand to read. Luckily, Jack Cork

tidied things up. Anywhere will do at the moment!

Swansea really need to get Emnes and Montero into this game. Trying to do

that now. A strong block by Jack Wright, the

Oxford captain. And the pace is relentless. One team attacking, then

turning attack into defence so quickly. Such a high tempo to this

game from both sides. A really entertaining opening 21 minutes

here. No wonder we love the third round of the FA Cup! Some have tried

to degrade it, but it just survives. Among the fans, it's still really

special. It's the best cup competition in the world. Oxford are

hoping to be the first proper giant killers of the weekend.

Really good play by Baldock. He impressed when we saw him earlier in

the season, on loan from MK Dons. He can play a high level. That is going

to be a really interesting contest down that Swansea left hand side,

Montero and Baldock. Lovely touch by Montero! A lovely

goal by the Ecuadorian winger! Jefferson Montero. His first goal of

the season. And how he sweetens the goal up, and a lovely finish two.

Swansea City take the lead at the Kassam Stadium. And magnificent

goal, Montero at his best, running at defenders. And what a touch! Came

in from the right. A lovely little touch. Montero got there first, got

the ball out of his feet, looks where the keeper is. He's got the

awareness, and what a lovely little finish that is for Jefferson

Montero! You will do well to see a smarter build-up and a smarter

finish this weekend. Just so cool. Keeping your head, when you've got

the chance. And such a cheeky little finish with the back of his heel to

beat Sam Slocombe in the Oxford goal. Just what Alan Curtis and

Swansea City need. Oxford had put Swansea under pressure the last five

minutes. Probably should have taken the lead themselves. Those

travelling Swansea fans, you can see in the background there, will be

well happy with that. Jefferson Montero, you said it earlier on,

really hasn't fired since the opening of the season. Been a

peripheral figure. We were at Chelsea earlier in the season, when

they didn't know how to deal with Jefferson Montero. The pace and the

power he shows down that left-hand side... He has frightening pace.

That goal will do him the world of good, it really well. A terrific

finish. A magnificent partner in Marvin Emnes. That should calm the

Swansea City nerves. I suspect it will not put out the Oxford United

fire. We mentioned that Montero has been a peripheral figure. So has the

man who set him up, Marvin Emnes. Jonjo Shelvey is just trying to

force things a bit too much. It was a simple pass from Marvin Emnes. Had

Maguire's pass had less pays for Sercombe, might have profited. Fair

play to the referee, I'm sure there was an advantage to be had for the

home side, and he played it. Sercombe would have timed his run to

perfection, because that is his strength - timing runs from

midfield. Emnes was in. Couldn't control it,

though. Just stretching. Similar to the Maguire pass for Sercombe. Maybe

slightly too much on the pass from Grimes. He's not on -- offside. He

timed his run to perfection. Just couldn't get the first touch he

needed to take the ball under control. Swansea do look good going

forward. They pass the ball quickly. They are finding the gaps. Clearly,

the focus has been on a lot of changes. Ten from Old Trafford last

week. It's really interesting, Alan Curtis has stayed with the front six

who played at Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

I thought Shelvey was going to drive it again. Third time lucky. On the

volley. He disguised that again. People thought was going to pull the

trigger, but he spotted Gomis on the right-hand side. Just inside the

penalty area. Once again, too much on the pass. The sun is shining. It

is a beautiful they here in Oxford. -- beautiful day.

Oxford had some really bright, forward-thinking players. Chris

Maguire, who we have spoken about, you can see how important he is to

the side. They are happy he had permission to play in this game.

They have strength on the bench in Callum O'Dowda. There's so much room

down that left-hand side for Swansea. Just put the ball into an

area... Strong by Tabanou there. Lundstram immediately fired it out

to Maguire. He's been a good outlook for Oxford, Maguire. Him and Roofe.

They rotates very, very well. There's Alan Curtis. He says, they

can't get rid of me. I'm the only one who knows where the kettle is!

He probably would still make tea. Apparently, he's still one of the

best players in training! That doesn't surprise me. I think he was

second best when Michael Laudrup was there, though!

Shephard slightly hesitated. He thought Grimes was going to play

back to him. It should have gone earlier from Grimes. Because it

didn't, Shephard delayed his run. Michael Appleton's side are not

afraid to pass the ball against one of the best passing sides in the

Premier League. Nordfeldt shows good hands, but

Maguire is really justifying Oxford 's decision to play him again. He

twists, he turns. Wesley Shephard? I think he went too far into the

penalty box. Bit of a gap there for Swansea at the minute. Needs to be

looked at. Shephard is covering the two central defenders a bit too

much. If you are Liam Shephard, you are watching Angel Rangel and Carl

Naughton. Both need to get there from right back. It is the Swansea

way. Jefferson Montero's goal separating

these two sides. Real cut and thrust about this cup tie. It has been a

proper cup tie. You used the word relentless. A great tempo. Not far

away again! Lundstram catches that absolutely superbly. Get his body

over the ball on the half volley. A terrific strike with the outside of

the right foot. Just can't keep it quite low enough to find the back of

the net. Very, very close. Of course, that is the open end of the

Kassam Stadium, so there are hundreds of cars parked behind it.

Taylor, lovely touch. Sercombe looking for a penalty. You can see

why he gets so many goals, Sercombe, from midfield. He runs into the box

superbly. It is a definite header from Taylor that nearly finds him.

No penalty. He has got three in the last four, has Liam Sercombe.

Bartley had to intervene. Nordfeldt is having to be solid.

The land of my Fathers, hymns and arias, ringing up from the Swansea

contingent. A good number of travelling fans.

There's Michael Appleton. The last man to inspire an FA Cup win over

Arsene Wenger's Arsenal. He had a temporary spell at Blackburn. Who

knows, he might still be the last man this season. They won yesterday.

A really good goal by Aaron Ramsey. His side have done him proud in the

first half. A really good attacking threat down both flanks, created

chances. Plenty of attempts from both sides. But just one goal,

Montero from Swansea. Lundstram looks a strong, powerful midfield

player. Montero, you have to do that these

days as a winger. You have to get yourself forward and get service

into the box, but you have two track your full-back. You can't let him

have free roam down the right-hand side. Played in the World Cup for

Ecuador, and on the ball again now. A good site for Swansea City when

Montero makes his way forward. It wasn't third time lucky, for

Shelvey, but he is getting closer and closer. I fancied him there. He

is more than capable of putting that one in the top corner. Oxford don't

really clear their lines properly. He watches it, gets his body over

it. He will be disappointed. Great technique that... He will be

disappointed that he didn't test the goalkeeper.

They referee took his time to decide whether that was a foul on Gomis. It

was Lundstram who made the challenge. He was probably giving it

a couple of seconds to see whether there was an advantage to be had,

whether Jonjo Shelvey was going to pick that ball up. So Sam Slocum

organises his wall. The wall is being lined up about a

yard inside the penalty area. Side netting! I am not surprised. He

glances to the bench, Jonjo Shelvey. He knew that one was close. I do

think that Sam Slocum had got across his goal, the six yard box. Had that

been on target, I think the keeper would have got his hand to it. Make

a note - six inches to the left! He is a manager now. He has a pen and

paper! Jefferson Montero's goal is the only one so far. Lundstram, I

have been really impressed with him in the opening 30 minutes.

Swansea City. Grimes is going to be booked. There is no contact. The

referee is in a great position to see that. Matt Grimes can have no

complaints. Whether he went to ground to easily... It is hard to

say that there was any contact. He's looking for that, in all honesty.

year ago from Exeter City, where he was a team-mate of his opponent

today, Liam Sercombe. I don't think he needed to go down. Whether he

anticipated contacts, I'm not too sure. He's been shown the yellow

card. I think Swansea have looked good

going forward. Really good. A big five minutes for both of these

sides remaining in the first half. It has been a cracking ties so far.

Oxford are by no means out of this. That's more like it. It is a big

debut for him. 12,000 here. He found the wrong number eight. He

made the wrong decision in the end. He gets past Tabanou far too easily,

in my opinion. The Frenchman looked far too slow. There's Amat, who

played in the Copa del Rey for Espanol. His best win was against

Atletico Madrid away. That's not too barred. Jordi Amat is a forgotten

man for Swansea this season. He was recalled for the Crystal Palace

game. I think you mean -- he views Alan Curtis' promotion as a chance

for him. A sweeping move forward for Oxford

United. Characteristic of their play so far. Liam Shephard did well in

the end. I thought Maguire had just done enough to go past him and cross

the ball in, but somehow Shephard got himself back. I really fancy

this. Oxford United, just before half-time.

It's a penalty! Oxford United have a penalty kick. It was an MacDonald.

Carl Bartley has given it away. Is this a goal-scoring opportunity?

There's defenders who would have got back there. I can only think it's

going to be a yellow card from Kevin Friend. From our position here, I

think it is a penalty. Bartley goes to ground, goes in with a challenge,

but much Donald goes past him. For me, Carl Bartley brings him down.

You know what? I've seen it on the monitor in front of us, I'm not sure

if there's too much contact. Well, Liam Sercombe against Kristoffer

Nordfeldt. Kevin Friend gets everybody out of

the area. This game is set to take a decisive twist just before

half-time. Sercombe... Buries it! Oxford United are level! Liam

Sercombe scores a famous goal at the Kassam Stadium. If in doubt put your

foot through the ball, straight through the middle. Goalkeeper

normally dives to his left or right. If Nordfeldt had stood still he

would probably have caught that one. My initial thoughts are that it was

a penalty, but having seen it again, yes Ross Barkley does slide in to

tackle Alex MacDonald. The ball goes past him but I don't think there's

contact between Barkley... Goes to ground a bit too easy for me. I

think they deserve to probably go in on level terms with their first half

performance, but I think they are slightly fortuitous in the way

they've scored that goal. That's one for them to mull over at half-time.

I don't think he was booked, was he? No. So a big decision from the

referee, Kevin Friend. And this game is right in the balance again. This

stadium has come alive once more. Oxford United of League Two, full of

confidence. Can they increase the pressure on

Swansea before half-time? Just want to make sure, Swansea, see

the half-hour, go in, regroup. Have a chance to get the team organised

once again. Get their heads up. They can't dwell on the penalty decision

can they? No, there's nothing they can do about that now. They've shown

in the first half they are more than capable of scoring goals this

What a fantastic time to get that goal. We've had some good play in

the first half. Looked like we weren't going to be rewarded for it,

but at the end of the half we got a penalty and made it one apace. All

to play for. And what an atmosphere. The crowd went bonkers when that

goal went in. Yes, fantastic. Great to see a full stadium. An even game,

in fairness. Both sides are everything to play for. 45 minutes

to get that second goal. Do you think you've got it within you? If

they blow the whistle now we'll take the 1-1. Hopefully in the second

Swansea City earlier. Ryan Taylor's header almost put Oxford United in

front before one of the FA Cup goals of the weekend. Fantastic work

between Jefferson Montero and Marvin Emnes, as Swansea City take the

lead, sending their fans wild. But Oxford United have got straight back

into this with what is a very clumsy tackle. Obvious penalty. And Oxford

United are level. And you have to say? Kit, that the Oxford United

fans in front of us right now are really fancying this. They certainly

are. It's been a really good cup tie, to be honest. Both teams have

tried to play football. Swansea played their normal passing game.

Oxford played the ball wide, plenty of crosses in. A real threat. It is

on a knife edge. Jefferson Montero is causing real problems for Oxford

United. He's on top form. He is coming inside, going outside. He is

causing a lot of problems. But the flip side they've caused Swansea

City problems down the right-hand side down the their left-back. It's

been' entertaining, the first half. Oxford United are back because of a

rash tackle. I think so. He certainly committed himself, David

in. If you do that, you give the referee, Kevin Friend, a very

experienced referee, the experience to do it. He's probably made the

right call. Diving like that and you give the referee a decision to make.

Swansea have been a bit unorganised at times at the back. That's

probably because they haven't played as a unit. They didn't start off

great. They settled down a bit and they were shaky at times. Jefferson

Montero, first start of the season, terrifying Premier League defences.

Doing the same here today. Is the that because Oxford United cannot

control his movement? He is very bright, a clever player. In August

he was exceptional for Swansea. He was looking at being one of the real

buys of the season. But early part of the game him and Emnes linked up.

Emnes pulls it back. Should do better with the finish but he's

getting in there. That was the threat early doors. It sort of like,

those Television Centre two that linked up for the goal later on as

well. Thank you for the Oxford United substitute who belted a ball

near us. I was expecting a Kit header there. I was going to

challenge it! Oxford United are hanging on in there. Ryan Taylor had

a great header. He is a player I like. The more Oxford get the ball

into the box to him, he is a real handful, causing them lots of

problems. If they can do that, there could be a few more for them. Taylor

gets across the front of his marker. It needed to be a good save. Oxford

United were starting to get on top a little bit. We talked about Swansea

City's experience of playing in the Premier League. And Marvin Emnes and

Jefferson Montero, for you is this one of the FA Cup goals of the

weekend so far? It is outstanding. Some of that play was breathtaking

at times. The finish at the end was special. Sometimes you have to hold

your hands up as defenders and say fir play, that was unbelievable.

Kit, it was an excellent goal? Very well worked. Again those two

players, Emnes linked up with Montero. Tabanou plays the ball in

and makes the run. Takes two Oxford defenders with him. It drives inside

for the space. That is an absolutely unbelievable touch to Emnes. The

quality of it, the weight of it as well, that's brilliant. This finish

as well is sublime. Chris, what do you think has happened to Jefferson

Montero? At the start of the season Premier League managers were

scratching their heads in the opening fixtures thinking, how on

earth are we going to contend his pace? Sometimes that happens with

players. You go through blips and you have highs and lows. It is a

matter of just sticking with him, because he's a good player. A flair

player. They have those moments throughout the season. But if they

can get him back on top form it will be really good for the rest of the

season. There were so many players in the Premier League and the

championship looking for area Euro 2016 places. One of those has to be

Jonjo Shelvey. Today he's got control of the midfield. I've been

very impressed with him. Even when he hasn't got the ball, the

positions he picks up in the little spaces, had at the very clever. And

he has had lots of shots. He isn't frightened to have a goal. If Oxford

United aren't careful he will stick one in the back of the net. He keeps

staying in the game. Keeps looking for opportunities. That's a great

chance. He has the free kick now, which is a really good opportunity.

He is getting closer. If Oxford back off him he will end up getting a

goal today. There has been speculation as to whether Jonjo

Shelvey might move on. That can play a factor. It is difficult when

people are saying you're going to good here, you're going to go there.

I think he want to concentrate on the field. He has done that today.

He's done very well. He is an asset to Swansea. It will a

incident. Yes, not so much the incident, but the finish. It is a

Cup weekend. What do you think Michael Appleton is saying right

now? He's going to be ecstatic. They have done so well in the first half.

Don't change the game plan. Be careful of the times when obviously

Montero's going down the left-hand side, they have to double up on him

at times. They have to be pleased with that first-half performance. A

bill test of his experience half-time? It will be. Both teams

going forward have looked a threat. Fazakerley saying if it ends up a

draw I don't think either team will be too disappointed. Oxford are a

o'clock on BBC One. Let's turn our attention to this

wonderful FA Cup weekend. Plenty of Welsh stories. It didn't just rain,

it poured on Newport's Rodney Parade yesterday. Their match against

Blackburn called off do to an unplayable waterlogged pitch. Plenty

of interest in the ties that went ahead. Wickham Wanderers played

Aston Villa. Cup holders Arsenal were drawing one all with Premier

League struggling Sunderland. Well crafted passing from the Gunners.

Aaron Ramsay applying the finishing touch to the second of their three

goals. Reading will have to play again

after Huddersfield penalty in the dying moments.

No big third round upset for Chris Todd. A replay was secured. Sitting

in the final score studio yesterday evening we worked out there were

since minutes before Chris Todd almost recorded one of the FA Cup

giant killings. I'm delighted. The lads put in a performance that was

special for the club. The pitch wasn't great on the day. The pitch

wasn't great! LAUGHTER It really wasn't. But we

put in a performance which was great for the club. It was a special day

all round. To get to where we've got in the third round was amazing.

Amazing. To professional like we did on the day and get into the fourth

round draw, which we are now, we've got that replay. It is going to be

an entertaining game. Your ground staff worked hard. We were looking

at pictures of them carrying buckets of sand. Don't you miss the FA Cup,

kids? Fantastic. It has got a magic about it still. Brilliant

competition. Bolton Wanderers in trouble on and off the pitch. At the

bottom of the championship. You must fancy another upset. We've got to go

there full of confidence. We done ourselves proud yesterday. We really

have. And we showed the capability of trying the beat them. We should

have won. We'll have a right go and see how it plays out. Well done,

putting Wales on the map. And you looked very sharp, by the way. The

they are supporting but what about you, are you sat on that fence? Very

much so at the moment. It is a good result at half-time. One each. So

I'm quite happy at the moment for both sides. You know what it is like

get away with the league and you can relax and enjoy it a bit. If you can

cup of coffee. I tried to get the team out of him but he wouldn't let

me know. Was he in good spirits now he knows he will be in charge until

the end of the season? Yes, his heart's at the club. He knows what's

best for it. He started off doing well and I'm sure he'll go on to do

a good job for them. The main aim is to keep them up this season. This

game will be an interesting 45 minutes won't it? Yes, Oxford took

the game to Swansea. Won fantastic with Montero and Emnes. Great play

interlinking and a super finish. And the penalty at the end. It is a

close game and it could go either way. Jeremy, thank you for the chat.

Diolch. We were digging into the archives for FA Cup moments with Kit

but he didn't reach the final. We got through, Portsmouth lost to

Liverpool after a replay on penalties. I scored mine though.

There's been discussion in the last couple of weeks, Premier League

managers not happy with the timing of this FA Cup third round. The game

is so demanding now. You see all the injuries that teams are picking up,

so you do need that rest in between. It gives the lower league clubs more

of an opportunity. The it is a dilemma for people putting the

fixtures together. Massively. That doesn't come into effect with the

managers of the Premiership teams, as they would rather play the FA Cup

on a Saturday and play the following week in the Premier League. Of

course, it is difficult for them and I can understand where they come

from with that one. When you look around this Kassam Stadium today, it

is a sellout crowd. Oxford United are going to make a lot of money

from today's FA Cup match. This is what the cup is all about.

Absolutely. It's the first time they have had Premier League opposition.

It is a full house. A fantastic atmosphere. This is what the F. F.

-- this is what the FA Cup is all about. It is going to be an

interesting second half. Back to our commentary team. This is worth

delaying the roast beef, I would say. Really good first half. And

still all to play for here at the Assam stadium. No changes after

half-time. -- Montero has made his mark on the FA Cup here today. A

little kick out by Amat on Taylor. That has given Kevin Friend

something to think about. It is silly by Amat. As a defender

sometimes, Rob, you can't always win the ball. But when the ball is

played out to Taylor he has his body in front of him. But Amat tries to

nick it off him. It is a foul. And he does kick out at Ryan Taylor.

He's going to be on best behaviour for the rest of this half having

picked up that yellow card early. Here we are and there you see the

two little kicks from Jordi Amat. Trying for the ball, which was

between Ryan Taylor's legs. And Tabanou has put Swansea under

pressure in the opening minute-and-a-half of the second

half. Header back to his gear. Under no pressure. They must do better

than that, from Tabanou. This is MacDonald, who leaves it. To

Christopher Maguire. Six yellow shirts in the middle and he picks

out a white shirt in Bafetimbi Gomis. And Emnes, a touch too strong

on George Baldock. Saw his chance. What will Alan Curtis have said at

half-time? He will have said keep it defensive, especially down the

Oxford right-hand side where MacDonald and Baldock have caused

quite a few problems. But attacking-wise he will have said if

we pass the ball better, we'll win this game. Baldock to Montero, and

he is still going. Very impressive, Baldock. Breaks into the penalty

area... And it is still not clear. It is driven over the top by

Maguire. A little bit like Montero's chance in the first half. It is a

carbon copy. Baldock once again causing havoc down that right-hand

side. Slightly behind Maguire but he should be keeping that down. It is a

horrendous effort by the left-winger. Should have done

better. A warning sign at the start of the second half for Swansea City.

I can't help thinking that with George Baldock MK dopes must have a

brilliant right-back. And it is a beauty! Kemar Roofe with a

sensational strike. Minutes into the second half an unstoppable shot from

the dangerman Kemar Roofe. MacDonald didn't score a minute-and-a-half ago

but Roofe has scored. This young man cuts in from that left-hand side. No

pressure. It is a great touch by Taylor. Good awareness, brings the

ball out to Kemar Roofe. He goes inside. They don't get tight enough

and it is a terrific goal. A terrific shot. No chance whatsoever

for the keeper in the Swansea goal. The roof just fell in on Swansea

City. An exquisite strike. That was right in the corner. You don't get

them, I'm afraid. Maybe Shephard could have got tighter and stopped

that goal, but it was a terrific finish from the man in fine form.

Hull City is looking at Kemar Roofe. This is the sort of stage that makes

other managers sit up and watch. He's got involved in everything. He

goes wandering, doesn't stay on the left-hand side. He will play as a

second centre forward. We talk about character, Rob. We'll see what

Swansea are made of. Two goals in, four minutes. Has turned this game

on its head. Michael Appleton talked about his

side having to show courage and he'll be happy, because he gets 50%

of gate receipts for transfers, building, recruitment.

That period that Alan spent with the players at half-time, we were

talking about how they were going to get that second half started.

Started slowly. Tabanou once again has been caught. A free kick away. A

poor first touch. Looks a bit heavy for me from Tabanou. Tabanou is

going to get booked. You can probably hear the applause around

the stadium. That's for Andrew Grafton, who died in the summer of

2001 and would have been 50 last Thursday. And that is Franck

Tabanou. Maybe trying to extract a little revenge on Kemar Roofe. The

third Swansea City yellow card. They are having it all to do now, Swansea

City. Trailing 2-1 to a really confident League Two outfit.

Sercombe tries again. He scored against Braintree in round 1 with

Liam Sercombe. He has a much more important goal today from the

penalty spot just before the break. Back to that penalty. It is Ross

Barkley. He dives in. MacDonald jumps over it. I don't think there

was too much contact but it was a tough one to call, to be fair. I

would like to know if the assistant signalled. He held his flag across

the chest, and that is a sign of a penalty. Read the paper tomorrow you

will see it is a penalty and Liam Sercombe scored it. Jonjo Shelvey

taking an age on that ball. Not too much time in possession against this

Oxford side. They are going to put you under pressure. Something to

hold on to as Gomis holds off his defend we are and the shot is wide.

Bafetimbi Gomis, a good sense of forward play. Nice first touch. Get

the ball out of his feet. Turns and hits it on the first occasion. And

at the moment Liam Sercombe and Kemar Roofe are heroes for that man,

Michael Appleton. And his Oxford United side.

Good to see Jeremy Charles at half-time. An Oxford cup winner

synonymous with Swansea City, scored in the opening game of the top

flight against Leeds United. The best goal that day was by one Alan

Curtis. How will Swansea react? Grimes...

Still full of confidence. Can't get past Lundstram. Just needs an option

down the left-hand side. Tabanou tried to drill it in. And Lundstram

made Slocombe react quickly. Just got enough on that header back to

his goalkeeper. Sensibly led with his right foot. Gomis read what he

intended to do. Swansea win it back. Cork is dwelling on it and he is

robbed by Maguire. Roofe... Takes on Barkley again. I don't think he's

going to get anything there. No penalty for me. I think he is

looking for it and if you are talking about consistency, Kevin

Friend booked Matty Grimes in the first half for diving, he has to

show Roofe a yellow card there. There is nothing in that for me. He

is trying to buy a penalty. But no yellow card. That was a challenge by

Shelvey. On Maguire. Swansea really have to keep their heads now. They

are losing their discipline. A yellow card for petulance. The same

for Tabanou. Now Jonjo Shelvey is going to find his way into the

referee's book. A yellow card for Swansea City. You can see Maguire

turns on halfway and in comes Shelvey. Felt that one. That was a

bit high. I think the ball's there to be won. He just mistimes it. A

fantastic atmosphere. You look at the Swansea City bench though, I

suppose Eder is the one attacking threat that they could bring on. Or

Barrow for his pace down the wing. He's been decent as a substitute,

has Modou Barrow. Good football by Swansea. Playing themselves out of

trouble. Haven't really seen anything of them

in an attacking sense in the second half. It's been all Oxford.

Baldock took no chances. Swansea City corner.

Bartley and Amat come up from the back.

It was Cork who got up there. Jack Cork jumped nice and early, and made

good contact. Hands in the air. A decent save in the end by Slocombe.

Grimes goes across to take the corner from the right. Again, down

the middle. Cork was bundled over and the break is on with Maguire.

Roofe allowed to go. And he scores! Kemar Roofe with his second of the

second half. And Swansea City are really on the brink. Counter

attacking foot wall at its best. They defended the corner ever so

well. At one stage, they had a four versus two situation. They kept

their cool and kept their nerve. Defended the corner ever so well.

They thought it was a foul on Jack Cork. That was debatable. And then

it was all about the pace. A terrific pass. Couldn't touch him.

Had to let him go. Could he have stayed on his feet, the keeper, for

a second longer? Into the back of the net. Now Swansea have a mountain

to climb. Tabanou has made way for Stephen Kingsley. I'm not surprised.

Tabanou looks too heavy for me in that left-back. Stephen Kingsley

getting an opportunity now. He will show energy down this left-hand

side. Swansea City have far more important things on their minds. The

last thing they need is to be the subject of FA Cup headlines tomorrow

morning. But that's the way it's looking at the moment.

Montero always going towards the goalkeeper. The big question is, was

it a push on Jack Cork in that Swansea penalty box before Oxford

had the opportunity to counterattack? After the goal was

scored and Oxford were celebrating, Carl Bartley was in deep

conversation with the referee, Kevin Friend. But nothing they can do

about it now. Oxford really have the bit between their teeth now. And

Roofe is on fire. A lot of people have described Oxford as the best

side in League 2. I know they are third, but on this performance

against Swansea today, they are right up there. Michael Appleton's

men, their appetite, desire, work rate and the quality they have shown

in attacking areas... It is quite simple. Swansea have to get a next

goal. Still time for the Swans, but this place is bouncing now. You

wouldn't think only three sides were there, the noise that is being made

in the Kassam Stadium. They just can't get it forward now. Shephard

and Bartley just cannot find their attacking me builders. -- attacking

midfielders. Swansea City need something special now.

Gomis hasn't had much of a sniff on goal all afternoon.

But you are looking at the likes of Gomis, Montero and Shelvey. You need

more from them now. They've got experience. They are international

players. The captain, Wright, has had a

relatively quiet afternoon. Mullins and. That has to change for Swansea

City. They have a free kick. Probably best for a left footed

player to take this one, try and score at the back post, and if you

don't do that, hope that one of the players who have made their way up

to the Oxford penalty area can get the final touch. Everyone bar

Jefferson Montero is in the penalty area.

Bartley and Amat have moved forwards from defensive duties. Grimes leaves

it to Shelvey to join the wall. Taylor concedes the corner. A good

ball in by Shelvey. Well defended in the end by Ryan Taylor. It wasn't a

corner. Was it offside? No, it was Amat who got the touch. Ryan Taylor

just did enough to stop Matt from getting that effort on goal. We need

some special effort from Jonjo Shelvey now. He likes to be at the

heart of the action. But of course, they have to keep out Oxford at the

other end. And the more Swansea push forward, the more that man's team

will fancy their chances on the break. The first half, Oxford going

forward, throwing men forward, making great runs down both flanks

into the penalty box, they looked Ainger is every time they attacked.

action against Bristol Rovers in a week's time. Kingsley, FA Cup debut

Cork. Was he offside? He gets the benefit of the doubt. A lovely first

touch, and a terrific finish. A lovely pass by Jack Cork to release

Gomis on this left side of the penalty box. Game on! How often have

we said that this afternoon? This is a cup cracker. When Michael Appleton

sees that goal, I do not think he will be best pleased with the

linesman at the far side. Half a yard offside, Bafetimbi Gomis, but

he carried on and took his chance superbly. Simon Beck on that side.

Gomis back in the scoring stakes. Scored in his first four games this

season in the Premier League. Then he went an awful long time, just one

in the last 16 before today. But he has put Swansea City back in this.

That is the first opportunity he's had in front of goal. Clear-cut

opportunity. Montero wins the free kick. What do they say? Goals change

Grimes fancies this one. Shelvey has had a few opportunities. He's got

to beat the goalkeeper. Had it not taken that deflection even, I don't

think it will have caused Slocombe too many problems. A comfortable

Swansea ahead in the first half will stop Sercombe with a penalty just

before the break, and then two goals in 14 minutes gave Oxford control.

But Swansea are back in this, thanks to Gomis. It could go anyway now.

Grimes almost caught in possession, but did well. The header had to be

certain, and it was, from captain Wright. I just think that Emnes

should have played that ball on the floor. When he lifted it up, there

was the chance to head it back to the keeper.

Swansea are trying to pick their way through.

Montero should look interested. He's got to be on the move. It wasn't the

best of walls in from Shelvey. -- the best of balls. Roofe is on a

hat-trick, of course. The cross was from Maguire.

Kingsley had to concede the corner. Kingsley has done well since coming

on. Oxford haven't found it quite as easy down the right-hand side as

they did in the first half and the start of the second with Tabanou.

Barrow is waiting for his opportunity to come on for Swansea.

Emnes couldn't get past Skarz. Just outnumbered in the end.

Saved by Slocombe! They are knocking on the door. It was almost the

second for Jefferson Montero. A great pass by Jonjo Shelvey. Montero

got in front of Baldock. All credit to Slocombe, who made himself big,

and thwarted Montero with that good opportunity to bring Swansea level.

Matt Grimes makes his way for the Gambian Modou Barrow. Barrow is

really quick. He will increase the pace down that Swansea right.

In the heat of an FA Cup tie, Maguire was playing keep ERP!

A slight change of shape for Swansea. Will they go for 42 for the

remainder of this game? Every player bar Nordfeldt is in the

Oxford half. Just looking at Sercombe in the

middle. Not really getting himself forward now. Happy to hold what

they've got. They take a replay, they would take a replay, but they

would love a win. At the moment, Swansea would definitely take a

replay. Good positional sense by Jordi Amat.

Getting himself on that front post. There's no letup in the tempo. I'm

getting tired watching! Good ball by Cork. I don't think Emnes was

expecting it. Maybe Gomis was. I think Gomis was in a better

position. I can't remember too many backpasses

today! Don't go anywhere with this one! And

upset on the cards, but still cards to play. Can Swansea muster one

chance in the remaining 12 minutes of this game? Jonjo Shelvey and Jack

caught in the middle do have the opportunity to open things up. They

could leave Montero wide. They have options. Danny Hylton replaces Ryan

Taylor. Gets a huge ovation from the Kassam faithful. He has been a

handful. In the first half, he played a really important part in

Oxford's third goal. Not a bad sub to have for Oxford. He has six goals

this season, has Danny Hylton. And intelligent footballer. Loves the

ball to his feet. Matt was a little bit impetuous. --

Amat. No need to do that. If you don't get involved, you don't get a

yellow card. Keep yourself back. So it's Maguire with the free kick.

They miscued that. Gomis pounced on it. Even barrow will struggle to get

there. But he has won a throw-in. He has done exceptionally well to put

Skarz under pressure to win that throw-in.

Cool defending by the young Welshman, Liam Shephard. Did ever so

well there. Kept his head. I keep saying it, these two teams have both

got more important things on their agenda this season. It isn't a

priority for either side, I don't think. Oxford are looking to win

promotion into League 1. In a good position at the moment. Obviously,

the finances will benefit very much from that.

What a good battle that has been with Montero and old Mac pro. -- and

Baldock. Bartley was sure that his partner

was in trouble. Got himself across that 18-yard box. Had to concede the

throw-in. Didn't want to take any risks on the ball. No one is leaving

here early! You're right there! If the score stays like this, I think

the Swansea fans will have an easy exit away, because the celebrations

could go on for a while. Sercombe fancied a shot, but just

over the bar. To turn and get a shot of in the same movement is not an

easy skill. Can't really control your shot.

Kingsley recovered well. Did well in the end.

O'Dowda. That would have been game over. That is a good save. A good

save by Kristoffer Nordfeldt. A good run by O'Dowda. A terrific save with

his right hand. He scored in their league to win against Notts County,

did Callum O'Dowda. Irish U21 international. Taking an age to take

the corner, which is frustrating the Swansea players. Easy for Nordfeldt

there. Shows a bit of frustration. He could have thrown it to Marvin

Emnes. Sometimes you have to give it to a player. He did well, collected

right-hand side. Everything he is about, pace and power. Picked his

Nobody forward for Oxford. Emnes on the outside. A throw-in. Swansea

City haven't given up. Marvin Emnes did well there. Still time for Alan

Curtis' men. Once they get the ball into the middle... The big centre

forward warming up. Virtually every player in the last third.

Maguire has been full of running all afternoon, full of industry. He is a

centre forward, and is right back in his own final third, picking

Kingsley up. Nail-biting stuff for Swansea a. And Oxford fans... Wright

says, we have had enough of this! Time is running out for Swansea.

Into the last four minutes. There'll be a bit of added time to go on to

the four that we've got. But have Oxford settled for what they've got?

Are they going to try to defend for the reremainder of this match?

faithful. None of them have left either. They still feel there's

but it was tame. He didn't have the confidence to put his foot through

the ball. Does well to make the opening for himself. Just needed to

try to work it to his left foot so he could get more power into that

It's been from the first minute Gomis's offside that time. You don't

need to go that early. He's been spotted by Jonjo Shelvey. The weight

on the pass is perfect. When the ball was actually played, I think he

is level. But it is a tough one for the linesman in the blink of an eye.

And Kemar Roofe. Well, he's a hot property in League Two. He just

burned it up for Swansea City today. Two goals for him. Two goals which

may have taken his side into the fourth round of the FA Cup. If the

score stays the same he will grab the headlines tomorrow, Kemar Roofe.

With his performance and two goals, it looks like they've put Oxford

into the fourth round. He has definitely caught the eye here this

afternoon. This is the FA Cup, there's still time.

I would think there's a good few minute of injury time. The fourth

Oxford are where they want to be, deep in Swansea City territory.

We saw Exeter come close, Wycombe come close yesterday to knocking out

Premier League sides in this third round. Will Oxford go a step

further? Hylton picks it up. Amat has to concede the throw. And the

clock ticks on Swansea City's FA Cup campaign for 2015-16 season.

Fabianski just over a week ago nearly win a point with a header at

Old Trafford. He is looking at Alan Curtis. He isn't going. They're vous

Didn't get there. A challenge by Shephard, but Oxford are keen to go

forward. But a deflection. Shelvey, plenty of white shirts to aim for.

Can he pick one out. He can't immediately. Jordi Amat... What a

block by Wright inside the last minute of injury time. Barrow back

into the area. Emnes, Amat. Tries to square it to Barrow. And it's four

against two going forward now. Oxford can sort this one out if they

can find Hylton! Hylton on the ball... It will be more than happy

to run into the corner. Shephard into the corner but it is a corner

to Oxford United. He had the pace didn't he to beat Shephard and

decided to do the intelligent thing. Run it into the corner. Run the

clock down. Can Oxford United put this into the penalty box? No, they

are not going to. What can Shephard do? Nordfeldt... It is simple. It

has to go... But there's no time. Swansea City are out of the FA Cup.

It is a famous win for Oxford United and their manager, Michael Appleton.

The Swans have been the centre of some awful headline this is season

and there's going to be one moratorium. Michael Appleton's men,

Liam Sercombe put them on their way. An ecstatic Kassam Stadium.

has got much, much bigger battles and more important battles ahead,

one was a counterattack. Luckily it went in. Are you surprised by your

players before kick-off today. Did you fancy this today? I think a lot

of people did as well. The one thing I really wanted to do, if we are

going to have a go at the game, do it the way we've been doing it all

season and not play with fear and expect the opposition to have ten

times more possession than us. We did it in the right way. The object

of this season is to get promotion. You can have a terrific 100 but how

worried are you after Kemar Roofe's performance today, there are many

scalps over the stadium. We've got three or four good players who can

play a higher level. But the reality is, I know as an ex-player myself,

sometimes you can be at a Football Club that's playing to your

potential. The way we play and hopefully over the period of time we

can get the success that we want here. And these fans have played

their part here. Magnificent. We need more days like this at the

place. We've got a big game on Thursday at mill wall. And hopefully
