Hello. We Have A Fabulous Match Of Breathtaking Goals. The Top Four In

Action And Manchester United. This Is A Different Season, Seven Games

Coming Your Way. Joining us in the studio we have

Danny Murphy and the only unbeaten manager left in the division,

Roberto Martinez from Everton. We begin with the champions whose

stuttering start to the season shuddered in the Manchester derby. A

new dawn of Manchester derbies. Sergio Aguero, it has been coming

Old Trafford will be nervous if a West ROM player can emulate two

United job. He has called the Derby Day disaster. The midweek victory

over, excellent. The atmosphere is muted. I bit of

tension after last weekend. Manchester united with two wins in

their opening five games. It was back into the middle by

Ferdinand. Rooney steadied the ship. Looked far Nani. Nani had to wait.

Hernandez wanted it. The channels has gone. My good opportunity for

West Ramage Albion. Scrambled away by West Bromwich

Brilliant ball in. That is an excellent chance the Berahino

arriving. The cross was into Rooney, but he could not keep the

ball down. He is enjoying the limelight again. Carrick is the best

player on the pitch so far. In towards Anderson dash of the bar!

Offside anyway. I don't think it would have counted. Anderson,

unlucky. Robin van Persie is waiting would have counted. Anderson,

to have an impact on this game. This should be a time for them to score.

Amalfitano with the corner kick. Stefan Sessegnon should have done

better with that. Sessegnon has gone beyond Buttner

and into space. Glaring inefficiencies at the back

for Manchester United as he travelled across the field.

Manchester United's left back was way downfield. West Bromwich Albion

lead at Manchester United with 53 minutes gone. United caught out

after attacking down the left-hand side. Buttner, the fullback went

forward and did not get back. There was little cover and didn't he take

the goal well? He carried on going. The finish was exquisite. You just

have to wonder whether or not United would have had more cover in that

left back position. Buttner has won a free kick. Van

Percie poised to come on. Nani and Rooney const buyer. Wayne Rooney the

Manchester united. It is in. Van Percie is watching and waiting to

come on, Rooney took the free kick. It went all the way through and

Manchester United are back in the game, three minutes after West

Bromwich Albion's opener. Nobody got a touch. It is Wayne Rooney's goal.

Much better second half. Rooney, back covering. 202 goals for

Manchester United, he is there fourth highest scorer. Amalfitano

with the corner. Off the woodwork! West Brom were so close. He headed

that so powerfully, but powerfully down.

It did hit Ridgewell on the arm, but his arm was down by his side. That

is a lovely turn by Sessegnon. Another direct run at the heart of

the Manchester United defence. It is a yellow card Phil Jones. The ease

with which Sessegnon turned away and galloped into space was a moment of

concern for Manchester United. Amalfitano with the free kick.

That is a great goal. Berahino. Brilliant goal, West Bromwich. The

new kid on the block strikes again. Five goals in six appearances for

his club. Two for the under 21 side. What a season so far for the

20-year-old. A cracking finish. West Bromwich leading again at Old

Trafford. Perhaps the wrong option, but he

forced a save out of the goalkeeper. Electrifying pace.

Fellaini is on the edge of the box. Fellaini is offside! Simon Long's

flag is raised. Is it correct? He is a yard offside. Good decision.

Nani was blocked as he went for the return. I think there was a bit of

theatre about it. That was a good save by the West

Brom keeper. So close! Such an exciting youngster.

lonely place at the moment. How important was it to be positive from

the start? We came here not just to sit and

defend, we came to play. We have good players in the squad. Hopefully

the supporters and everybody is starting to see we can have a good

season. We did not attack well at times. We had a lot of the ball in

the first half and did not make the times. We had a lot of the ball in

most of it. We have one or two chances, but not enough to get a

goal. How is this day in your life so far? It is great to come to Old

Trafford and get a goal. I want to stay focused, we have a long

season. It is my first year in the Premier League. I will keep working

hard. You will always get that result in football, it is part of

the job. We will move on and look forward to the next game. It is a

new man in charge with I suppose, a tough act to follow. Similar

circumstances to yourself, Roberto. But you want a good start. How

surprised are you they have started so slowly? Everybody knew in

football that whoever replaced Sir Alex Ferguson, would probably have

an impossible job. It is difficult to find. It took a year for Bobby

Robson to steady his ship. David Moyes has experience and when you

are a new manager, you need to get to know your players, the dressing

room. It is a transitional period. He needs a bit of time, where do you

think it is going wrong at the moment? Credit to West Bromwich

Albion, they were terrific? Defensively, was the problem. They

were all over the place defensively. West Ramage played well. This was a

simple clearance of the pitch. It should easily be dealt with. Jonny

Evans makes a mistake. But as soon as he does, wedge Brom are in. --

West Bromwich. Carrick and Evans are as he does, wedge Brom are in. --

in a straight line. It fizzles out. This is wonderful play from

Sessegnon, who was the best player on the pitch. The gap is huge, 30 to

40 yards. You don't see this away at Old Trafford. Sessegnon again,

lovely bit of play. Buttner is Old Trafford. Sessegnon again,

diving in. Ferdinand gets dragged across. Three of them in a line.

Don't see that very often. Jones has two cover. This was happening all

afternoon. A T no picks the ball. He is in his own half. -- Amalfitano.

It is not a back four, it is a back two. Jones has no desire to get back

in and help. Ferdinand is left. Let's give this boy some credit,

away at Old Trafford, he was very calm. That was a lovely left foot

finish from a young boy. Fantastic technique. Plaudits to West from

four a wonderful performance. But West Brom had a real go, didn't

they? Yes, and at 1-1. After 30 minutes you had an injury and Scott

Sinclair comes on. Steve Clark could have gone a bit more steady, but he

goes for a young, bright, potentially good, fantastic

finisher, but he was not proven. That is a real positive approach, to

score two goals from open play at Old Trafford, I don't think we will

see that for a long time. The United fans are worried. Lots of Manchester

United fans on Twitter not worrying about whether they will qualify for

the Champions League. Is that conceivable? I am not convinced

about that. David Moyes needs a little bit of time, like Roberto

said. Manchester City were looking for their first away victory this

season against Aston Villa side yet to open their account at home. Libor

Kozak is saddled with the responsibility of being the main man

for Aston Villa. Christian Benteke, the man that he replaced before

scoring against Norwich 's Alpha some weeks, but Gabby at one law is

missing with injury, so Paul Lambert goes with 3-5-2. -- Agbonlahor.

Sergio Aguero hopes to be fit for by Unicom Wednesday. Otherwise just one

change from the team that beat Manchester United. James Milner, a

former Aston Villa player, comes into Jesus Navas. -- comes in for.

equalised with five minutes, with the first really dangerous attack

from Aston Villa -- El Ahmady. I have seen that given, but in my

view, if the player is just about level you have got to give the

advantage to the attacker. And Aston Villa in a game that Manchester City

have dominated, are back on terms. Manuel Pellegrini contemplating a

game that Manchester City should have locked up in the first half.

Ron Vlaar has made a couple of interceptions like that today. Sammy

What a match we have got here at Villa Park. It was a long kick by

Manchester City. And it is harmless. Manuel Pellegrini will not be happy

with that. Paul Lambert has put his jacket on the first time. Villa Park

is absolutely heaving. Headed on by Kozak. And the referee blows

full-time. Aston Villa have inflicted upon Manchester City their

second league defeat of the season and they have also won their first

home game this season than cells. -- themselves. And in dramatic

circumstances that you could not have made up. I think we did play

really well, and in five minutes we had a reversal of the hole match. It

was incredible the way that we lost this game. Just every single mistake

we made, we conceded. The first call this game. Just every single mistake

was not even a mistake, it was an offside, and even then you do not

get the good decision. I am not putting blame on anyone but we were

really lucky. Just kick that and I thought if I was going to get the

flick on it, and luckily, it went through, I went round Joe Hart, and

it has just flicked in. It was a good game, up and down the pitch, to

come back from a goal behind, two times, it was great. Very important

as well. It was a fine victory for Aston Villa and after the game I

caught up with Paul Lambert. Congratulations Paul, thank you for

talking to us. It was a fine triumph considering you had both main

strikers out. Playing a Manchester City side that trounced Manchester

United a few days ago. People coming here would have thought that

Manchester City would have won the game comfortably, after their recent

performances, but I thought that we were absolutely fantastic. We had

great desire and work ethic to win the game, and losing Christian

Benteke and Gaby -- Gabriel Agbonlahor has been massive for us,

but that was a great result. He did well to come from behind to win the

game considering that you have not had a great run of form at home.

Hopefully, that. People talking about it. -- that. People. The

performance today and the result I thought was fantastic. And it was a

great atmosphere against Manchester city side that many people are

tipping for the title. The fans are vital to this club. And the players

respond from that. You might get one or two little things if things are

not going your way, but I think that we thrive on that atmosphere, and

the team are loving it here. You have played against a lot of the big

clubs. We have had a hard start, nine points from those games has

been a terrific return. There was no respite for us. We have had a few

injuries since last week. We are doing fine at the minute. We have

enjoyed watching you, thank you very much. You were at the game,

Roberto. Some statistics for you. Aston Villa had fewer touches on the

opponents half than any other side that played today. And somehow, they

came out on top. Was it down to spirit or determination? Paul

Lambert deserves big credit for coping with the players who are out,

Christian Benteke and Gabriel Agbonlahor. They were energetic.

They worked very hard. As you can see, hear, allowing that shape, the

wingbacks to get forward, they put a lot of bodies forward. And that was

a great pass from Bacuna. The linesman does well to allow that to

play on. He's probably offside if linesman does well to allow that to

you look at the replay, but it is one of those decisions, it was not

certain, you can allow it to play. They have an incredible belief. Joe

Hart cannot see the ball. That is a great execution. That shape with a

talking about, two strikers, they had a good threat. Andreas Weimann

and Kozak. To get into that, to identify that, you're going to be

under the cosh and you have to defend but as soon as they got the

ball, they had that counterattacking ability.

Aston Villa played with a back five or a back three a few times last

season. It depends on the players you have got under way you are

going to play the game. Manchester only scored two goals from set

pieces. Aston Villa were very solid and at very good distances. They

allowed each other to defend it really well. Up front they always

had two strikers and they carried a threat. They got into good

positions and they used everything they had going for what really well.

City are a bit Jekyll and Hyde. You could say it is perhaps a bit

freakish, this. What happened? They struggled and they have got a big

game coming up against Bayern Munich in the week. There will be a

slight concern at how easily they conceded the goals on the way.

Defeat for both Manchester clubs, but could use they will finish

higher this season? The early kick-off was the London

derby between two of the Barclays Premier League's top four. They

were watched at White Hart Lane by Steve Olsen.

Is this town big enough for the birth of them? The sorcerer and the

apprentice meet on equal terms for the first time. Maybe a battle of

one-upmanship for the special two. Oscar's magic is key for Jose

Mourinho you. Fernando Torres gets a vote of confidence. It is a

fixture which in recent years Chelsea have normally dominated.

1-0 to Tottenham. Tottenham with the breakthrough. Sigurdsson scored

both goals against Norwich City. He has scored against Chelsea. But the

goal owes a lot to Christian Eriksen. That was a great touch

from Christian Eriksen. John Terry might not have been strong enough

in the challenge. It was a very accomplished finish as he was

falling to the ground. White Hart Lane is on its feet. Fair play to

Sigurdsson. Many people might have expected him to lose his place in

this team. That was brilliant Tottenham football with Chelsea at

full stretch. Andre Villas Boas is guest of honour at Porter's

anniversary dinner tonight. Jose Mourinho deal is not going. I

wonder if he said, I am not going if he is.

That was probably the first shot that Hugo Lloris has had to deal

with. Paulinho hit the woodwork. What an

end to the first half is nearly was. It all started with a majestic back

heel. That took Ashley Cole out of it and left Chelsea in bothered.

Paulinho has been so good in front of goal this season. You almost

expect him to score here. Juan Mata is getting 45 minutes to show his

worth. Fernando Torres could not quite

reach Oscar. That was great stuff from him. If Tottenham keep up

their defensive record this season, Chelsea have a problem. Goals

against Tottenham Hotspur do not come easy. He is furious with

Fernando Torres. The referee's assistant had the best view of

anybody and it is a yellow card. Fernando Torres says, why? I am

sorry, that is not very civilised from Fernando Torres. It was a

scratch into Jan Vertonghen. It was very nearly a gouge.

He seems to have found his rhythm, Fernando Torres. Suddenly he is a

threat. But he could not get the better of Hugo Lloris. Fernando

Torres is proving a thorn in the side for Tottenham. There is no

love lost between Jan Vertonghen and Fernando Torres. That was a

foul, there is no arguing with that. A yellow card for Jan Vertonghen.

Chelsea are saying Ramirez would have been through on goal. I think

Tottenham did have retreating defenders. It is a free kick. That

was a chance for Juan Mata or to deliver a. John Terry's caused the

equaliser. Huge celebrations amongst the Chelsea fans. Not a

amongst the Chelsea management. Just a nod of the head, no more of.

John Terry was onside. Hugo Lloris was completely exposed by the

quality of the delivery from Juan Mata. Chelsea will say that has

been coming. Well played Fernando Torres again.

That was good goalkeeping. Chelsea have looked so much more

threatening in the second half. They are both down and they are

both hurt. Fernando Torres launched himself and crunched into Jan

Vertonghen. If the referee deems that to be dangerous from Fernando

Torres, he could be off. He has sent off Fernando Torres. That is

contentious. He has been fired up throughout the second half. The

referee saw it as dangerous play. He is dismissed with 10 minutes to

go. Chelsea are down to ten men. It would only be three points, but it

would mean a lot for Andre Villas Boas to put one over Jose Mourinho.

That was a good drive from Sigurdsson. His face says it all.

That was a good drive from The key moment for the game was

hitting the post before half-time. It could have forced Chelsea into

doing changes in the second half. They still always looked a threat

in set plays. It was a pity our second half was not as good as the

first. I think Chelsea looked strong in the second half. It is a

fair result. It is big for Juan Mata to come on and provide the

answers for the goal, he is such a talented man. He is and he has been

doing well because he has been working hard to make sure the

manager is happy with his performance. All credit to him, he

reacted in the right way. We could resolve at half-time the problems

we had in the first half. We changed the game, but there was a

bad decision from the referee and that change to the last minutes of

the game. You need to support them and not make life difficult. When

nobody touches you and you pretend your opponent has touched you, had

a violent contact and he heard you, you are putting the referee in a

very difficult situation. Especially falling players when

they come to England, they still keep their culture. It is a

disgrace that you do that to a person doing the same job. It is a

disgrace. It is a good job he is Portuguese,

but very strong words from him. Very critical of Jan Vertonghen. I

understand his anger at the incident where he got sent off, but

he was fortunate to be on the pitch in the first place. The first

booking is for a deliberate trip. He kicks out at him. You could

argue that is nothing. Where he scratches and across the face, it

is a credit to Jan Vertonghen that he does not go on the floor. If you

handle someone's says, it is a sending off. He had a terrific

second half, but with that when he is a bit unlucky. When you slow it

down, there is no contact. Jan Vertonghen for me has been out of

order in trying to stitch him up a little bit, but he has to be more

clever when he is on a yellow card. You cannot jump into challenges

like that. You saw Tottenham clearly dominant in the first half

and Chelsea dominate in the second half. One thing changed at half-

time, Juan Mata. It was a brilliant move for him to bring him on. And

he put Ramirez back into the middle. In the first half it was a bit

narrow from Chelsea. What you notice is that there are a

four Chelsea players against format Tottenham players and it is very

easy for a Tottenham to defend because they are in the same area

of the pits. When Juan Mata came on, the players decided they would

rotate position mark out it was perfect were just able stock they

stretched the back of four. The men in the box are looking more

dangerous. start tackling. That is what he is

on the pitch for. That bit of quality in the second half changed

the game. Are you surprised, Roberto?

It is finding partnerships. The manager is trying to find a way of

playing. It is a terrific way to come back, I think when Spurs scored

the first goal was against the run of play and Chelsea had a good run.

Allowing Mata to have a big role will be beneficial to this Chelsea

side. It is an exciting squad to look forward to see how far they can

go. Tottenham could have killed the game off in the first half. They

started brilliantly. We have already seen three cracking matches and we

still have four more to come. With the results going the way they

did, Arsenal had an opportunity with the late kick-off to go two points

clear at the top. They had to gain all three points at Swansea and that

is not an easy task. Guy Mowbray was at the Liberty Stadium.

Ramsey! It looked a decent strike. Always wide.

Both Swansea fullbacks are flying forward. What a gamble that was. It

you Swansea fans have not realised and bought the move was still going.

I think Jonathan de Guzman new. Should have been the last attack of

the half. That is the best chance Arsenal have

had. The rude just rolled across it. His control was better than his

finish. Anything in Gibbs's claim? It

certainly strikes by hand but it was in close quarters. The Gnabry has

scored his very first Premier League goal. He has got better and better

with every minute of this game. All involved here. It is the 18-year-old

German. What a confident finish it was. Arsene Wenger, with a huge

smile on his face. Giroud is livid that Ozil could not

put it across to him. Arsenal have walked it in. Ramsey

with another goal. His eighth of the season already. He scores for the

fourth game in a row. Arsenal on the break. I just wondered who was going

to take it on. To back heels. Another flick. A great change of

direction from Ramsey and then a thumping finish from the player who

is in the form of his life will stop the Welshman scores in Wales.

Arsenal's second goal came just after this at the other end of the

field when Swansea were claiming a corner. What an important stop this

looks now. The whole of the ball has got to be over the whole of the line

will . If Swansea do get a goal back in the

next few minutes, it becomes a very different game. Michael Laudrup must

be pleased with the way his team is rallying.

Red sky at night, The Gunners delight. That is how it is in South

Wales this evening. He has got it in. It sets off a

grandstand finish. A little bit of adventure shown by Ben Davies. It

worked just as he wanted it to. It is a good run. It did come off his

that makes a big difference. We probably lost because of the first

15 minutes. That is what happens when you play the big boys, you

cannot give them anything. You copped a bit from the Swansea fans?

Yes, it was nice to give some banter back to them, being an ex-Cardiff

player. They all love you when you play for Wales? Yes. Six weeks ago,

that defeat against Aston Villa lead to a lot of moaning, and it seems

another world away at the moment? We were tested in the first game. We

had a crisis. But after the first day in the press conference, the

only way to respond is on the pitch. Was it ever a crisis? Any defeat is

a crisis. Arsenal top. For all the talk of

Ozil's arrival, one man who has made a big difference is Ramsey who has

suffered from that fickle nature of football. He has bounced back

brilliantly? Sensational game today. Ramsey has every aspect for a

midfielder. He is showing his creativity, getting the ball and not

stopping. Looking for spaces. This little reverse pass, the awareness

of where his team-mate is. It is an assist. As a midfielder you have two

assists and score goals. This is a brilliant run. It looks easy, but

his timing of the past. But sit on a plate for Ozil, and he should score.

This is the icing on the cake. Lovely awareness again. Wilshere,

great determination to win the ball. This is typical Arsenal. Look

at this for composure! That is a man with confidence. He is 22! He is

back trying to win the ball back, switching play and defending for his

team. We did not include Everton, this

season is so unpredictable, anything could happen? It is opened. We have

not even reached the first stage of the competition. So many changes in

terms of new managers, new dressing rooms and squads, that is why the

Premier League is the best in the league. Anyone can beat anyone.

Until you get the first third of the season, it can be difficult to see

who can do what. It is fascinating. Now to find out what is coming up in

The Football League Show. We will be reflecting on the first major

managerial casualty after Nigel Clough was sacked by Derby tonight.

It came hours after their defeat by Nottingham Forest. We will see

Millwall looking for a win against Leeds United. Burnley will see if

Millwall looking for a win against they can maintain their winning

dressing room and the continuity was vital. We were able to add players

early in the window, which is always important. You can start gelling

together. And then in the final of the transfer window we lost two

players. But in the way we brought other players in, I do feel this

squad has different options and Di mentions. We are excited to see how
