show you the best of today's action from Wembley as the Washington

Redskins took on the Cincinnati Bengals in the third and final game

of the Bridgestone International series. It is the tenth year of

regular-season football on this side of the Atlantic, and so far, it has

been worth the trip. The first of three games in the

United Kingdom. The pressure is on! Touchdown to Alan Robinson.

Joining me for this one, Mike Carlson and a man with two Super

Bowl rings to his name, the former New York Giants. This is the first

time that two winners have met on this side of the Atlantic, and it

could prove to be a pivotal game for both. Cincinnati are the home team

and looking to chase down the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC

North. And in a highly competitive NFC East, the Dallas Cowboys are out

in front at the halfway point of the regular season. So it is fair to say

it is all to play for. And it was a sell-out again as the razzmatazz of

the NFL took over Wembley for the final time this year. Let's join our

US commentary team. Bengals won the toss and elected to

defer. This is Chris Thompson on the return for the Redskins, out to the

20-yard line. Kirk Cousins leads the Redskins' offense onto the field.

They do not have their leading rusher. Cousins finds his man on 1st

down. Taking out to the 28-yard line is the leading receiver, he missed

the last two games due to a concussion. Kirk Cousins is a guy

who plays well when he is in with them. You can help him get into

rhythm by moving him a little bit. You also have Jordan Reid, who has

been out, and if you get him involved in the game right away.

Redskins with three tight ends on 2nd down and three. This is Kelly,

and he gets swallowed up by Geno Atkins.

Redskins lost their first two games of the season to the Steelers and

the Cowboys. They have come back to win four of their last five. And

they have been balanced as a team, Kurt cousins has a lot of weapons at

his disposal, alongside Jordan Reed. 3rd down and three, and a 1st down

to the 32-yard line. We rejoin on 3rd 7 for the Washington Redskins.

Cousins on 3rd 7. Reed comes out of the Washington 3rd down, so the

Redskins make it three for three on the 3rd down. They have three red

zone turnovers so far this season. Jamison Crowder is tackled, that is

a gain of seven. You watch Kirk Cousins, and people think he is a

veteran quarterback, but he really hasn't started that well, last year

was his first year really being the full-time starter. Earlier this year

he came back from a hot ending to last season, but came in kind of

skittish, not confident. Now you see a really confident quarterback. 15th

player of the drive for the Redskins on 2nd down, it is Kelly, and he

takes it in for a Redskins touchdown. What a drive, and what

they finish for Robert Kelley. What a cut for Rob Robert Kelley, filling

in for Matt Jones, you can't draw it up any better. First career rushing

touchdown for Kelley, and Hopkins connects on the extra point. First

NFL start, first rushing touchdown. Alex Harris and back deep for the

Bengals. This is Alex Erickson, across midfield, and finally, forced

out of bounds by Bessho Breland. Another college free agent in his

rookie season, and that is tremendously blocked. They take the

edge away from the Redskins, and he does a good job of following Tyler

Kroft for a huge return to get the Bengals going.

The Bengals kept it going and we rejoin them at first and ten.

This is inside the ten, down to the 8-yard line. Makes the tackle for

the Redskins. Dante Whitner playing well for the Redskins, he has come

in and given them a boost, a veteran presence. They have David Bruton,

DeAngelo Hall, couple of injuries back there, and Dante Whitner has

been a nice addition. Seconds down and five, this is

Bernard Insigne the five -- inside the five, and into the end zone!

There is a flag. Personal foul, facemask, number 26, defense.

15-yard penalty will be enforced on the kick-off. Alex Erickson, longest

ever kick-off return in London in 17 games played here. The two guards

get out, and that is one thing these guys do well, they get out and leave

these running backs, and UC Breeland get a fistful of facemask. He looks

like he may have injured his arm on his last run, so it is Bernard

Butcher injures it -- Bernard who changes it in. We are tied seven.

We return at the end of the first quarter, with Washington on the

50-yard line. Cousins fired, and the catch is

made. Pierre Garcon says, take that, to the Bengals defense. Redskins are

on the move. That drive came to nothing, and the

Bengals punted on their possession, so we are back with the Redskins.

Cousins with all kinds of time. And the catch is made by the tight end

who takes it all the way, a 44 yard connection. They rediscovered that

Vernon Davis can still play. Challenging the spot as the Redskins

hurry-up the line, Martin Lewis has thrown the challenge flag. The

question is where did Vernon Davis initially step out of bounds.

Challenging the ruling on the field that the receiver remained inbounds

while running his past. We will review the play. You see Vernon

Davis up here, and what the Bengals are challenging is that he stepped

out of bounds not well catching the ball, but prior, and to my eye, you

just can't see. The ruling on the field stands after review.

Cincinnati will be charged with a time-out. 44 yard pass play, and the

Redskins are in Bengals territory once again. From the Cincinnati 35.

Cousins underneath, it is Davis once again, and Vernon Davis picks up

another Washington 1st down, a gain of 15. They fake the go, to Sean

Jackson running the scene, and an outlet for positive yardage. So now

the Redskins back where they were on their last possession.

The red zone woes, they have struggled their earlier in the

season, and it was primarily that they turned over the ball earlier in

the year, and now the last couple of weeks, it has been heating up.

Cousins getting more comfortable, as he is everywhere else, down in this

critical area of the field. Following the last play. This is

Chris Thompson to the Bengals 16. Wrapped up by Vincent Rey. And he

looked like he was grabbing his knee, he remains down after that

last play. 3rd down and six. Vincent Rey is replaced for the Bengals as

cousins throws, and it is complete for another 1st down. It is Jordan

Reed on the Bengals 8-yard line. Jordan Reed is such a smart player,

he finds that window. Kirk Cousins has such trust the Reed, he throws

the ball, another touchdown. Nine straight completions were cousins.

Nine straight completions for Cousins. He has gone to the tight

end seven times. The Redskins, third time in the red zone. Touchdown on

their opening drive and they were stopped on 4th down, now looking to

get back into the end zone. They've got this defense, the Redskins

offense has been on the field almost the entire first half, almost 16

minutes of possession as opposed to four and a half for the Cincinnati

Bengals. Jay Gruden is liking what he is seeing.

2nd goal, from the five. Cousins throws it... To the back of the end

zone. You can talk about all this great offense, but the Redskins's

problems have been in the red zone. Unless you get in, these are just

empty yards. 3rd goal, Cousins throws... It is Thompson but he is

stopped at the two, on 3rd goal. Karlos Dansby, the 13 year vet, make

the tackle. The Redskins are stopped on the 4th down. Well, in a certain

way the Bengals have to feel good. They're doing a nice job with the

4th down stop but they are not stopping them in the red zone.

Hopkins's kick is good. The Bengals hold the Redskins 23 in the red

We pick up the play with the Bengals on the next drive.

COMMENTATOR: From the 48. Off the play fake. Walton able to get rid of

it. There is a flag. It is Bernard. Bernard takes it all the way to the

25 and then he loses the football! Maybe there was a flag. Josh Norman

does punch that out but the initial looks like it's going to be on

Washington. A penalty. REFEREE: The ruling of the field is

a fumble recovered by the defense. Holding, number 26 defense. 5-yard

penalty resulting in an all somatic 1st down. It is Prichard Breland

working in the slot on Brandon LaFell. Enough to draw the defense

for a penalty. It's a 1st down for the Bengals from the Redskins's 47.

47-yard line. -- Dalton on 1st down. You see the inside leveraged. A gain

of ten, picks up a 1st down. This is Gaby Bowhill. Not much, maybe a

yard, for Jeremy Hill. -- this is Hill. Ryan Kerrigan right there told

us the other day it has been some odd growth for the Washington

defense. Earlier in the year the points were too high. Now we're

really bringing down the points, we've just got to get the turnovers

back". An improved group for Washington on the defensive side.

2nd 9 from the Redskins's 36. Down he goes! Back at the 47-yard line.

Mason Foster, along with Chris Baker. Chris Baker is the guy in the

middle, the big man. Starting right there and watch him just continue to

rush. He splits the double team and comes right through to greet Andy

Dalton. Only the Colts have allowed more sacks than the Bengals's

offensive lineman this season. Dalton again in trouble, gets rid of

it. Eiffert, a gain of 12. The Bengals will send out a field goal

unit with just under four minutes remaining here in London. Did well

to get within the range of Mike Nugent. He made a 51 yarder in the

warm-ups. From this exact spot. This will be a 51 yard attempt. His

record is 55. Nugent from 51... Is no good! Wide to the left. Not so

Both teams exchanged punts and we're back with Washington at the end of

the second quarter. COMMENTATOR: 3rd down and four. As

the Redskins pick up the 1st down and more, hit out of bounds by

Kirkpatrick. He picked up the first and then draws a penalty as well.

It's just not smart in any way. Do you want to be physical, do you want

to be tough? Absolutely. But it's out of bounds. Just a foolish

mistake. Down to 41 seconds on the clock. One time-out. First and ten

from the Bengals 47. Cousins, with time. He was looking for the tight

end, Reed. Vontaze Burfict got a hand to it. Vontaze Burfict all over

Jordan Reed. Nearly end interception for Vontaze Burfict. -- nearly any

deception. It's funny, Jordan Reed is such a good player and Kirk

Cousins trusts him so much, I almost think it allowed him to spread the

football a bit more. The Sean Jackson is replaced by the rugged

Morris Paris. -- DeSean Jackson. Now the Redskins will use their final

time-out. 3rd 7. From the Bengals 44. Cousins, to the outside, Reed!

We will see if he picked up the first. The clock continues to move.

No time-outs, as you mentioned, Kenny. Stopping to make a

measurement. That helps the Redskins out. Here come the chains. The

ruling is, just short. You see the knee down, where is that ball? As

Jordan Reed stretches forward. Jay Gruden sends on his kicking unit.

Dustin Hopkins's curry along is 54. This will be a 55 yard attempt.

Hopkins, from 55! And it will not have the distance. So, the first

half comes to an end here at Wembley Stadium, with the Redskins leading

the Bengals 10-7. First and ten, angles from the 25.

It is AJ Green out to the 35-yard line. Here is a match-up we've all

been looking forward to. He is travelling, playing his traditional

left side and also moving over to the right. You can feel AJ Green

starting to get some separation from Josh Norman. Second catch today and

here is Bernard. Bernard able to pick up another 1st down. Two plays,

two first downs for Bernard. You look at this, just a surge up front.

They create a huge hole for Giovani Bernard to burst through, Bodine.

From the 47 on 1st down. Finding Tyler Boyd. 2nd 7 from midfield.

Quickly into the hands of Boyd. And Boyd Gaines a couple, so it will be

3rd 5 for the Bengals. In last week's game against the Detroit

Lions, Detroit and Golden Tate had a bunch of success on those type of

place. I've got news for you, Tyler Boyd is not Golden Tate and it

didn't work so well for the Cincinnati Bengals. I see what they

are looking at, they're just not quite as effective. Not for the

Redskins that time. Dalton on 3rd 5. There is a flag.

Picks up the 1st down. REFEREE: Number 24 defense. Use of

hands. Results of play: 1st down. The first alpha Josh Norman. He's a

fantastic player and one of the great things that make him a

fantastic player is that he uses his hands effectively at the line of

scrimmage. He's using his hands today but not effectively. There

that chaos formation, as the Bengals open up. He gets batted down, Ryan

Kerrigan getting a hand on it. Just a smart play by Ryan Kerrigan. One

of the things the Bengals often do is they like the numbers, they play

these bubbles screens. Dalton to the far side and Josh Norman get his

hands on another one. Josh Norman has had his hands in position to

times and both of them could have been pick sixes if he hangs onto it.

Three penalties and he's got his hands on a couple. Now at four and

ten, it is Green, and Green with a terrific effort picking up the

Bengals's 1st down. I like what Kenny Zambesi did because Josh

Norman is travelling except when he goes to the slot, so what does Kenny

Zambezi do? He puts him in the slot. That is we'll going alongside the

skill that AJ Green has. Tremendous effort by AJ Green. So, a new set of

downs for the Bengals. This is Hill on 1st down and he weaves his way

inside the 24 another angles 1st down for the Washington 19, as hill

picks up 12. None 19, this is Hill. Jeremy Hill

down to the 15 the Redskins. Jeep Iheanacho made the tackle. -- Duke

Ihenacho. Is a terrific function at the home

of the US ambassador last night. A bunch of our soldiers were treated

to a nice party at the Ambassador's house. A good time had by all. Mike

Brown of the Bengals... And the catch is made for a touchdown by

Tyler Eifert! Tyler Eifert, Martin Lewis told as he is back to full

speed and Andy Dalton is hanging in there knowing the blitz is coming,

knowing he's going to take a shot. Hanging in there and finding his pro

bowl tight end for a touchdown. Despite the Redskins's dominance

with the yardage came in the first half, the Bengals find themselves on

top early in the second. Mike Nugent... Extra point is no good!

Wide, to the left. Mike Nugent missing. He missed a field goal

earlier. Hopkins missed one for the Redskins. You see how close it is

but just a bit to the left and the kicker is struggling. The Redskins

punted on their next possession, so we're back with the Bengals.

COMMENTATOR: Going deep and it is broken up. Norman getting a piece of

it. Josh Norman doing a nice job covering. Norman has pulled himself

off the field. He called for a replacement, so Clinton Dunbar has

come on to replace Josh Norman, who is shaken up. Here is Eifert. We

mentioned him, a pro bowl player last year. He got an injury during

the pro bowl and then injured his back and made his return last week

against the Browns. Six catches and a touchdown. Today in London for the

Bengals. That position, when you have a tight end like Tyler Eifert,

too big for DBs, too fast for others, really tough to cover

especially in these situations. There you see Eifert working on his

opponent. Dunbar matched up with AJ Green and AJ Green makes the catch

with Norman on the sideline. Going up against the second-year corner

and the catch is made right in front of Josh Norman on the sideline.

It looks as if the trainers are robbing the calves of Josh Norman.

You have to wonder if he has cramped, the travel, dehydration? At

the bottom of the screen it is Dunbar, and it is green once again.

The Bengals are aware of the situation with Norman out, and they

will bring an back-to-back plays. Here comes Josh Norman back onto the

field. Andy Dalton, a smart guy, realises with Norman out, I will

attack Dunbar, and he did that. 15 yards on that fast play, and there

is a flag as Jeremy Hill takes it down to the Washington six. Holding,

Norman number 90, defense. This is a play that the judge calls. You can

see him hang on with that right hand so he can't get up to the second

level. He has pulled the jersey of Zeitler.

Jeremy Hill, stopped just shy of the goal-line. It is 13-10 in the

Bengals' favour, we could have a ten point spread after complete

domination by the Redskins in the first half. But it is dangerous when

you allow a team to hang around, you don't punch it in, and the Bengals

are looking to capitalise. 2nd goal, Bolton will walk it in for a

Bengals score. That is just great ball-handling by Andy Dalton. He

hides the football, all of a sudden cyclo- pops out. He slips, but it

doesn't matter, as Andy Dalton fooled the entire defense, uses his

body to hide the ball, and then he is out the door. His second rushing

touchdown of the season. And Nugent gets the last one.

With Cincinnati scoring two consecutive touchdowns, Washington

needed a reply. 2nd down and 2, it is lit Sean

Jackson who makes the connection, and Jackson is shaken up once again.

What they throw and catch by DeShawn Jackson. A subtle push, but he pays

for it at the end, and what a throw by Kirk Cousins, just dropping it

right over Pacman Jones into the arms of DeShawn Jackson.

Bengals had some time to look at it. And they will not throw the

challenge flag. This is Kelley. Again, as you have a look at

Jackson, the story in the first half for the Redskins, missed

opportunities, and now a late flight is thrown, a yellow one, not a red

one. After the play was over, unnecessary

roughness. 15-yard penalty, automatic.

It is 94, not letting go of his leg. So, the Redskins now on first and

ten. Down to the 24-yard line. All the coaches in this league, Mike

Shanahan and all the others, always preaching composure and poise. Sam

Wykes, my first coach, he is recovering from a surgery, and we

wish you and your family well, we are thrilled that you are doing

well. Absolutely. Cousins on 2nd down, and diving into

the end zone is Jordan Reed for a Redskins touchdown. Jordan Reid

macro is a tight end, but he doesn't run like a tight end. He turns on

the Jets, you see him right here, Chris Thompson, cousins has it, but

then he puts on the brakes, and whom, he separates from this

Cincinnati defense. 23 yards, cousins to Reed. 21 yards, matching

their longest driver of the season, Jordan Reed celebrates, Redskins

pulled to within three. Into the fourth quarter, Cincinnati

have the ball on Washington's 30-yard line.

2nd down and six, this is hill, and it gets knocked out of bounds I Will

Compton, so the Bengals now facing 3rd down and three. He worked his

way onto the roster, his third year now as a defensive captain. Rex

Burkhead out for the first time, number 33. As Dalton throws, and

there is a flag. Two flags have been thrown, and now a third. Going to

get a hold on Quinton Dunbar and Tyler Eifert.

Pass interference, number 47 defense, automatic.

New set of downs for the Bengals from the 20-yard line. This is Hill.

The Redskins defensive coordinator, Joe Barry. And Dalton throws, it is

picked off by Compton. Will Compton with the interception, the first

Cincinnati turnover. Folder coming off the edge with the pressure, and

Andy Dalton hangs in as long as he can, kind of wishes it out there,

and easy interception for him. That is the play that this Redskins

defense needed. Eifert stops, Dalton thinks he is going to keep going,

but Joe Barry dials up the nickel corner blitz, and it forces Dalton

into a big mistake. Dalston had gone 165 attempts without an

interception, including the last four games. Now Cousins throws, and

it finds Davis, all the way out to the 44-yard line.

Cousins on 1st down, complete to Davis, and Vernon Davis games seven

to the Cincinnati 33. 2nd down and eight, Cousins fires,

and it is Crowder! Jamison Crowder goes for the end zone, he is it!

Tremendous job formation only by Sean McVeigh to run the quarter

route, but that runs traffic for him. Cincinnati clearly drops

coverage. Jamison Crowder with a great job fighting through a face

grabbed that wasn't call. He gets into the end zone. After the extra

point, Cincinnati start their response from the 25-yard line.

On 1st down, it is Bernard Compton to wrap them up.

It is Bernard once again, Dante with the tackle. 3rd down and three.

Dalton throws, and it is on, into Redskins territory. He is going to

run a little stick. He turns up, he really sells it with great patience.

Great action on 1st down, Dalston looking for AJ Green, what a

spectacular catch! Al Davis used to say speed kills, and that was pure

speed. Was it pass interference, could it have been a hold? But that

is how good AJ Green, the leading receiver, is.

Green off to the sideline. 1st goal from the seven. Quinton Dunbar

along with Bashaud Breeland. This offensive line of the Cincinnati

Bengals needs to oppose there will. Dalton to the end zone, he was

looking for Brandon LaFell. Dunbar on the coverage. Dunbar, does he

grab him? He does have him around the waist. Number 47, defense. The

ball will be replaced, automatic, 1st down.

On 1st down, walking it in is Jeremy Hill for a Bengals touchdown.

You watch the left guard, he is going to come out and seal the edge

for Jeremy Hill. Look at him turn inside, and now it is an easy walk

in for Jeremy Hill. After a possession each, we rejoin

the action with Washington driving, still down by three.

Looking for a field goal, need about eight yards to getting Hopkins'

range. Cousins on 3rd down, and the catches made by Jamison Crowder. He

made the catch, stayed inbounds, takes it all the way to the Bengals'

22. What a throw by Kirk Cousins. Cousins on first and ten from the

22. Andy Dalton can only watch. One

minute 21 remaining, 2nd 10. It is nearly intercepted.

This is exactly what Kirk Cousins is looking at. Seven passes knocked

down by Dunlap the season. Cousins on 3rd down, throws it away.

He was under pressure. Here comes Dustin Hopkins to try to

tie this ball game. 40 yard attempt. This from 55 earlier today. We have

had three missed kicks, two field goals and an extra point. Hopkins

kick from 40 yards out is good, and we are tied at 27.

Into overtime after both sides failed to score again. Cincinnati

punt the ball back to Washington. Jamison Crowder comes for the field

catch. There is the flag. Those gunners are the guys that rundown,

often double-team on the outside, tough position, but again, smart

football. Number 21, kicking team, for contacting an unfair catch. 50

yards will be added to the play. 1st down. You can't do it, 15 yards are

so valuable. The catch had already been called, he tries to get out of

the way, but it is not about trying, you have to clearly stay away once

it has been called a fair catch. So now the Redskins takeover. 6.53

remaining. Second Redskins possession, this is Kelley. Works is

way out for a gain of six. We've been playing football for a

long time and there is the chess match, on your left, defensive

coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals and Sean Maguire eight,

offensive coordinator for the Washington Redskins. -- Sean McVay.

He throws and there is a flag but Jordan Reed makes the catch for a

Redskins 1st down. It will be a hold on the defense.

What a job by Kirk Cousins. REFEREE: Holding. Number 24 defense.

1st down. In an right tackle for Moses, he gets beat right over here.

Watch Cousins step up in this pocket, avoid Carlos Dunlap and then

step down field. Tremendous job. First and ten from the 42. Completed

Pierre Garcon with a step. He enters Bengals territory. Redskins wanting

another 15 yards on the sideline. You see that right arm, he grabbed

that and then Josh Shaw pushes him. They've played to the 42-yard line

and it is Garcon again for a gain of five. Redskins doing it without

DeSean Jackson. There is Dustin Hopkins, as the Redskins now look to

get into field goal range. Three receivers set, 2nd 5. This is

Thomson. Chris Thomson takes it down to the Bengals 36.

STUDIO With 3.33 to go, Washington looked

well-placed to kick eight game-winning field goal.

COMMENTATOR: Pass to the outside to Jordan Reed. And Jordan Reed takes

it to the Bengals 20-yard line. Now it's a matter for Jay Gruden, do you

want to try to get this thing in the end zone or do you wanted run the

ball up the middle to set up Hopkins for the game winner? Phil Robert

Kelley whatever he does and everybody out there, ball security

is at a premium. Two hands on the football at all times. First and ten

from the Cincinnati 19-yard line. Cousins hands it off to Kelley and

there is a flag. REFEREE: Two fouls by the offense on

the play. Illegal shift, two players in motion. That penalty is declined,

motion holding. And 95 1st down. You see the right guard here and the

hold, now the 14th penalty, 14 penalty! For Washington. Aside from

two hands on the ball, no penalties. You're in field goal position commit

you just can't go backwards. Two penalties now for the Redskins. From

the 29-yard line, it is Kelley and Robert Kelley stays on his feet

inside the 15! Down at the 13-yard line! So, Kelley gains 16 on the

play for the Redskins. How about Robert Kelley? We talked about him

earlier, always keeping his legs churning. Trent Williams just

blowing Michael Johnson off the ball. And then finishing. We talked

about finishing earlier and what a run by Robert Kelley. Now Cousins

will set up a field goal attempt from the middle of the field. That's

right. He tries to position it in the middle of the field and now you

go to kick it on the 3rd down in case there is a miss handle on the

snap, you can go over and do it on 4th down.

So, Dustin Hopkins out to attempt the potential game-winning field

goal, from 34 yards out. First ever overtime game in London. And a

time-out was taken by the Bengals prior to the snap. Marvin Lewis

right by the official there. He had that one time-out left in his pocket

and used it trying to ice Hopkins. From 34 yards out. Tress Way is the

holder. Dustin Hopkins, from 34... It is no good! Wide, to the left.

CHEERING Wow! Hopkins, I guess he was iced

effectively by Marvin Lewis! He just pulls it, right off the bat. Good

snap, good hold. There is too much draw right from the start, for

Hopkins. Hopkins had missed only two all season, coming into this game.

STUDIO The Bengals then took their turn to

win the game. We joined with one minute and 33 of overtime to go.

COMMENTATOR: The past is caught by Boyd. Next score wins. That next

score might be in the Tottenham game on Wednesday!

LAUGHTER 3rd down and one. One minute and ten

remaining. It is Dalton... Red -- Redskins say they have it! The

officials are attempting to get to the pile.

CHEERING It is Redskins's football! Wow.

Mike, we had a tight Game seven days ago -- a tied game and you don't see

it often in the NFL. Chaos in the final period. I think really the

thing here is that the pressure just grows and grows in overtime. You

come down to Marvin Lewis having to resort to icing the kicker. This is

how I know there's going to be a franchise here pretty soon, they're

just preparing with all these draws and ties, preparing the London fans

for something there used to! We like a draw, don't we? Icing the kicker

is very divisive in the NFL. It's when the head coach calls a time-out

just before the kicker is about to take the kick, which is exactly what

Marvin Lewis did here. Exactly, and it worked out well for him because

he made the play here and then he missed it. But I've also seen the

same thing backwards, where they miss it and then make it the second

time. Not a great snap. But you're effectively doing is giving the

kicker a free practice shot. I really dislike the idea that the

coach can call time-out on the sideline and the play still

continues because the referees can't get it in before the ball is

snapped. Very much a narrative in the NFL this season, a lot of missed

kicks, kicker is very much under pressure. Speaking of under

pressure, the Bengals offense was in the second-half but it was like a

completely different team out there? They doubled it basically in that

third quarter, over 160 yards that third quarter. One of the big things

they did is start using Tyler Eifert the way they used him last year. He

made a big difference for them especially on their first score of

the half. Andy Dalton did a great job of standing in. What's the rush

is coming in, he gets level just as he releases the ball to Tyler

Eifert. -- watch the rush. He went with the hand faked to the running

back. He is a very athletic quarterback and you see him just

strolling to the end zone. There is Jeremy Hill rushing in. A great

rushing talent the Bengals have. One guy with a lot of power, one guy

quick to the outside, but Hill was quick enough to the outside there.

When you go in untouched, that's fantastic. Touchdowns aplenty in the

second half. The Redskins struggled to begin with but bounced right back

into it. Jordan Reed is a player we anticipated would have a big game at

Wembley Stadium and he lived up to that hype. He did not disappoint.

Outstanding catches. Catch the ball, make people miss and then run,

showing his speed and athleticism in getting into the end zone. That's an

outstanding football player. Kirk Cousins, 450 yards and two

touchdowns. You saw it plays like that all the Bengals. Jamison

Crowder is such an exciting little player and he makes a great play

here. For all the domination they had in the first half, to only lead

10-7 at half-time was really one of the keys to this game. The missed

extra point of course is another key because otherwise it would have been

a win. Seven receivers Kirk Cousins targeted and Andy Dalton matched

that as well, spraying the ball to seven targets. You saw very good

quarterback play on this particular day. All the quarterbacks finding

multiple targets, the way the quarterback position is supposed to

be played. The difference is, when Andy Dalton spread it around, it was

mostly for show. He was going either to Tyler Eifert or AJ Green when

they needed it. I'm glad you mentioned AJ Green. One of the big

match-ups going into this game was AJ Green against Josh Norman, one of

the best cornerbacks in the NFL right now. Is it fair to say that AJ

Green won the battle? No question about it. Along with the four or

five penalties he drew on Josh Norman. This is why you can't pay

cornerbacks that type of money because there is no way they can

shut down the type of receivers, it's not possible! You dropped two

interceptions and one of them might have been a big six if he had got

it. Norman is all over him and had a flag for interference and AJ Green

still made the catch. Cornerbacks and wide receivers, it's like a

spotlight position. The cornerback is there and he literally had to

make them stop on every play or else everyone sees that he didn't do it.

It's the closest thing you come to boxers in the NFL or football

goalkeepers. The third of three international series games to be

played this season. Was it the most exciting? Did they saved the best

last? No question about it. I'm very happy that people got to enjoy a

fantastic game of football from start to finish. It had all the

highs and lows and ebbs and flows, outstanding game. Next season the

Miami Dolphins and the New Orleans Saints are coming to town. That's a

Derby but they play in different conferences so they don't play each

other that often. I have to agree with Osi, much as it pains me! That
