Welcome to Twickenham, which has become a place

England have gone on a run of 11 successive victories in 2016.

Now they try and make it a dozen against Argentina,

who have lost narrowly against Wales and Scotland in the last week,

but are still one of the most respected sides in the game.

In this penultimate weekend of internationals, England

Eddie Jones has shown his ruthless side, with Semesa Rokoduguni given

the Man of the Match last week and losing out today.

In the pack, a return for George Kruis.

And a change at open-side flanker with Tom Wood back in.

A late change with Tuculet injured and Cordero at full-back.

Some very inexperienced players for England,

For Argentina a rare benching for Facundo Isa.

The referee is from France, Pascal Gauzere takes charge.

Will that unbeaten 2016 continue for England?

A knock on, but it is England's ball and Youngs under the attention

First line-out of the game and first chance for Creevy to hit his mark,

Hernandez with a deft poke over the top, but easy enough watched

list of people who have been sent off playing for England,

and you feel for Senatore, who has gone off injured.

The boos come from the crowd, but this is one thing they're

cracking down on, because he landed on his head and neck.

That is the only option the referee had.

He's only the second Englishman to be sent off at Twickenham.

The other person before was yours truly.

It's hard, but again you would say the right decision.

You would expect Hartley to take the three points.

For England to be six points up, they would see that as a positive

as all the possession has been Argentina's way.

It is a pop at goal for Owen Farrell.

England have reacted quickly to the fact that they're a man

down and only committing one man into the area.

So there would be few yards to be gained, but Argentina

are picking and going straight through the middle

every point on the board counts. It might have to be one of those

wins - grinding it out, a man down, not necessarily pretty,

down against Argentina, they have their personnel problems

and they're a bit tired, but it would still be an important

victory for England. If they lose, they possibly

drop to tier three in That would make it

a difficult group for them. At the minute, they're causing a lot

against these odds with a man down. England's job now is simple -

catch the ball, set it up in the forwards, get

can counter from deep now. A little chop tackle,

a legal tackle. As Argentina come away now,

they're brought back for that Pascal Gauzere said he thought

it was fine, then I think it was the voice of Tim Hayes saying

it was a no arms tackle. It was the touch judge,

Ian Davies. You see it here, he never

gets an arm around. Hartley goes over the top

and you probably agree Farrell to make it a dozen

points to England. Just enough off the post

and England's chasers are up there and Argentina with Cordero

and Cordero is quick Certainly trying to

play today, Argentina. He goes down, Vunipola now

and Billy Vunipola gives it to Ford And interception you would say,

and a penalty try is given. The crowd realise it now,

and it is going to be The only thing stopping England

scoring was the hand coming in. The man who was sent

off right on the wing, Orlando, who scored last week

at Murrayfield and in trying to prevent a try this week

he is sent to the bin. What a wonderful bit

of play by Farrell. But it is the hand at the end

Cubelli and on for Creevy. Cubelli again for the line,

the scrum half, can't get there. Pascal Gauzere says,

you will have to wait. It is an injury and it doesn't look

good to Billy Vunipola. Not a man to go down

without serious complaint. He is holding the

inside of his knee. Maybe got his knee caught

in an awkward position. Sometimes it is innocuous

when you see the most You wonder how such

giant limbs can fail. But the ligaments are the same size

and that is a worrying sight And the right thing to do,

bring the cart on. We are all big, hard players,

but don't get off the field He has been a wonderful player

and deserving of this applause. The clock is red, Argentina back

to a full complement of players Argentina desperate to take

something from this first half. Isa and England offside,

so another penalty for Argentina. Wide and back they come

for the penalty. I think we might see

a yellow card here. If we don't now, we will see it soon

for the persistent infringements. George Ford had

the straight offside. Argentina can take the gift

of a simple three points. Creevy is looking at the posts

and looking at the score And asking for advice

from his lieutenant. Hernandez saying, I want

to take three points. Creevy has been in the scrum,

"I'm not going to stop It will either prove

a brilliant decision or not. A huge moment at the end

of the first half. England a long way clear,

but don't underestimate what a score here could do for

Argentina's morale. Two minutes of dead time

at the end of the first half. Fourth lost bindings,

said the call from the touch judge. I think England might

have escaped there. Just as Argentina got

a bit of a nudge on. It is not always to say

it is him making the mistake, if you come up first,

often the penalty The pressure coming from both

sets of front rows. Three minutes of dead time

try to keep them at bay. The decision, penalty

definitely scrum again. Not sure Dylan Hartley agrees

they're collapsing the scrum. But he has been told for more

discipline from his side. So the stories you have

for his hand on the floor. It shows how much Hartley has grown

as a leader, taking back Eddie Jones getting his point

across. He is a lawyer and he will be

arguing his case strongly. Penalty and now

what is the decision? Sorry, that is a terrible decision -

if you go back, you can see But some huge decisions

in the first half and Dan Cole Now we will playing until some

time until next Tuesday. Look at Sinclair's position and how

he engages the scrum Young, fresh legs are

on and it is not legal, but he is putting all

the pressure on Creevy. Seven minutes gone at the end

of this first half and deep Argentina with a man

of the decisions wrong. It is a very technical

area of the game. It is hard enough for us as players

to know what is going on, but I feel that England and Dan Cole

in particular were hard done by. But there is a try by Argentina

and they're back in the game. The referee says he doesn't

want to see a TMO for that. Good work in the end by Isa,

and the conversion is successful and this first half of so many

talking points ends with the score The second half has something

to live up to in terms The man who scored the try

for Argentina towards the end of the first, Facundo Isa,

and wide it goes... Endeavour from the very start

and good work, great power. Juan Martin Hernandez

timing his past nicely. He has support in the side

from de la Fuente. Most of the crowd are stunned

into silence, but you must applaud And they close to

within four points. The worst possible

start for England. They will have had that chat,

and to concede that quickly, And Cordero has been

wonderful all game. I have to put my hand out

to Sinclair, to put that tackle in. They have really come out

fighting after that score. Santiago Cordero is a try scorer

extraordinaire. He has scored a dozen

for Argentina in 30 caps. Juan Martin Hernandez brings

Argentina to within two points with just two minutes

gone in the second half. That was a good take

from Santiago Cordero, he has had a good game so far

and tries to make his way around They have started the second

half so well. Dan Cole points to Jonathan Joseph

but he has taken down Quiet games so far

for the full-back. Argentina, in these first five

minutes, the endeavour they have had to play the game, and look

at this off-loading. Tom Wood will come back

on in the back row. England back to a full

pack at least. Free kick to Argentina,

barely brushing by England. There is going to be

trouble because that is one of the infringements that

World Rugby has cracked down on. Orlando, who was yellow-carded

in the first-half, they will not Neck rolling is something

that is more than frowned upon now. They have taken a very

dim view of that. You can clearly see his

hand around the neck and World Rugby are clamping down

on any contact on the With that twisting motion,

it is not look pretty. Argentina lucky to get away

without a yellow card. The coach reasonably

unhappy about something. Perhaps he was cross for giving

away a silly penalty. You can see Courtney Lawes, England

beginning to make some ground. And this will be, I'm sure,

a pop at goal for Owen Farrell. Just to congratulate his forward

pack on winning that penalty. It is about building the score,

one man down, you must keep that scoreboard ticking over and another

easy kick for Owen Farrell. Jamie George getting ready

to come on. This is how England built

the lead in the first-half. Through the middle and England

have a 5-point lead and all of those penalties, those cheap and easy

points, so gratefully received England, having lost the winger,

Elliot Daly, early in the match. Argentina trying the secondary

shove, they are told to use that Juan Martin Hernandez,

the pass is scooped up by Pablo Trying to play a lot

of rugby. Argentina had the ball and they have

gone back 15 metres. The only man under it,

could not catch it. Mike Brown could not quite get

there in time. All of that possession and it

ends in England's scrum. They are not playing clever

rugby at the minute, Argentina, and all that time

in the championship, you would think they would be

slightly more astute at the minute. The Argentine captain is coming off,

which is a shame, I have loved He has been powerful, physical,

strong at the breakdown but it looked like he picked

up a knock early on. That is his international

rugby over for the year. Into the front row comes

the hooker Julian Montoya. He had a couple of great

scrums against Wales. You can see the reaction

from England players, how much that means after so much

stalemate in that scrum, simple change in the front row

for Argentina and England and the credit comes out

to the England front row. A lot of time to go to make this

an 8-point lead. Difficult with the personnel

changes in the front row. It shouldn't, with England

you bring on the new bunch and actually the scrum

is as solid as it was before. For whatever reason,

Argentina have gone backwards, whether it is the tiredness

of the legs behind the front three, I don't know, but this

is a great position This one is good from Owen Farrell

and England have that 8-point lead. They might be one man

down but they continue to lead the Pumas

at Twickenham. Lovely driving maul,

they'll look to keep that as long as they can and take it as far

as they can to draw that penalty and keep edging that

scoreboard ever forward. England really have the upper hand

up front, Courtney Lawes holding it and Argentina will do well

to avoid a penalty. The free attack coming,

little chip over George Ford, little spill

as he takes it down. Wonderful little chip and chase,

lovely gather by Jonathan Joseph, in deft hands, getting

the ball out of the tackle. Argentina, for 10 of the remaining

15 minutes, are down to 14 men. England have made 116 tackles to

Argentina's 33. It tells you that England have really upped their game

since the last two matches where defence has been questioned. But

Argentina clearly not playing in the right area of the pitch and giving

away too many penalties. And may have won this

game for England! Suddenly, England spring

to life and they have their And so well finished

but the work was done before that Making sure they could

create that overlap For the finishing ability

of Jonny May, that is How many times and on how many

matches have we said that for 50, 60 minutes Argentina have played

strongly and good rugby, physical, and then in

the last five minutes with the changes made,

England have been England averaging

3.5 tries every game. I cannot tell you how long it has

been since they got that tally. Wonderful for the English team,

under Eddie Jones, to score. The other side, the defence,

is as important to get right. England shoving through

the Argentinian scrum. Courtney Lawes and England have

real pace about them. Penalty advantage is gone

for England but they still have the ball and the attack

and the opportunity. Was it a second movement

from Mike Brown? Pascal Gauzere is going

to have a look at the grounding. It does look like Mike Brown

has picked up a little Stumbling and fighting

for every yard. That is just a dead leg,

hopefully, but that is clearly double movement

and he has knocked it. Henry Slade is on and Mike Brown

is off. That is good work

from Kyle Sinckler. Courtney Lawes and England looking

to finish this game with a flourish. The tackle comes in

heart on George Ford. Courtney Lawes was measured up

but he escaped largely unscathed. Sleight of hand from Jonny May

to Jamie George. And Kyle Sinckler is through and is

looking for support, and he hasn't. The interception and they will come

back because the touch judge has seen a potential

infringement by Argentina. REFEREE: The blue player is clearly

holding the white player Number 18 white has clearly

stamped on the chest being held on the floor

and perhaps stamped on It's been a game of

controversy and stoppages and the referee has had a lot

to do. In the white headband,

Enrique Pieretto is being held. It is the stamp that I think

he will be in trouble for. In real time, let us

see that in real time. It will be clearly

obvious. This game started with

a red card for England. Yes, a red card

for Enrique Pieretto. The crowd bay, "Off, off!"

and they will get their wish. It will be a yellow

card for Joe Marler. And this game has

seen so many cards. Joe Marler, for his infringement

of hanging on to Enrique Pieretto, into the sin bin, and Pieretto has

the red card. REFEREE: Yellow card

against you and red The crowd initially just see

Joe Marler with the yellow card. A howl of disbelief,

then they see the red card So, the final act of this

extraordinary match, There might be a counter

for Argentina, and the charge is on. Argentina deep into the England

half. Martin Landajo gives it

to Juan Martin Hernandez. It is given out by Orlando

to Ramiro Herrera. There will be no scrum but victory

for the home side and an extraordinary

victory it has been. What a win for England

against all the odds, one man down for so much of the game

but another win, one dozen under Eddie Jones in 2016 and this

was as hard earned as any of them. What was said by the players and

the management after that red card? The players at half-time regrouped

and we knew we had a great chance to make history and when you get

a chance to win a game with 14 men, and they understood what they needed

to do, effort and courage is important, tactically we were good

and the players were terrific. We cannot predict these things

but we can prepare for them. We brought a lot of tactical

meetings and things to life today, It was a gutsy display,

I am proud of the guys. Do you think the referee got the

right decisions? Losing a player like Elliot Daly

was disappointing but the rules are the rails so off he goes

and we adapted well, spending lots of time on scenarios

and we spoke about what if rather than the past so we could adapt

quickly and I thought The game of rugby is

getting more like that. We have just seen the new edict

from World Rugby saying you must be He was very calm, you have

an opportunity to win with 14 men He gave us that motivation

and we were able to do that. Obviously we started the second half

Burley and we were disappointed. They broke us down easily

but we regrouped under the sticks and we got ourselves back

in the game and we controlled What they did very well

was they kept on getting together and thinking

about what we had to do. We needed to work this game

in short spurts of energy, it was a bit like running 100 metres

15 times and we kept doing that, we kept getting that energy up,

we kept defending very well, When they attacked, we lost patience

and we gave them some penalties at key moments so I think

that was the mistake. Confidence naturally grows

through winning and the camaraderie The boys working very well

as individuals and as a team, we have the clarity and detail

for everyone to see and the environment allows us to get

better as a side and we are doing that and next week will be one

of the hardest challenges After this, the summer,

they will be coming here looking to do something so we are excited

already about next week. It is finished but we will

enjoy this location. There are some sore bodies

and we will enjoy their company tonight and will start

preparing on Monday morning. Expecting to be favourites

against the Wallabies? We are looking forward to playing

Australia. We have obviously had some success

against them but they have They have done really well

and we expect a lot of rubbish They were disrespectful during

the summer tours and we expect more England's women taking on Canada

but we can reflect on that match between England and Argentina,

which was a match of The first major incident,

the sending-off of Elliot Daly. The right decision

by Pascal Gauzere? Enthusiastic young man chasing

the ball hard but as he goes up you can see he makes eye contact

with the man in the air and then gets his arms wrapped around

and there is only one out, when the man lands so badly

on his head and neck. That changes the approach

to the game for England, they will have to work harder

but Argentina could not England spent a lot of time

defending, the ratio was 140 tackles to only 30 which shows just how much

possession Argentina had. They played lots of beautiful rugby,

the handling of times was sublime but it was between their own 22

and the England ten, never close enough and they conceded

easy penalties at either side of the pitch which kept

England in the game comfortably, scoring at will,

which was disappointing When England were able

to attack and move out wide, they had to play more conservatively

in the first-half but after but after the break when they could

cut loose, they showed they can score tries

and they showed some adventure? Argentina in every game

over the last few years, for around 60 minutes they fight

hard and they tend to fall apart and Eddie Jones used the bench well,

Kyle Sinckler was good, England were able to walk

away with it. Argentina did come back into this,

with the sin-binning One word for Billy Vunipola,

that was one of the real downsides to the game for England,

that looked like a bad injury? It is very rare that you see a rugby

player clearly in distress. I know what it is like to be injured

and the feeling of disappointment when you're playing so well

but the bigger issue for England is losing Billy Vunipola,

such a wonderful player, Nathan Hughes is the next natural

progression from Billy Vunipola but off the bench he has not been

mesmerising so it is a really tough Eddie Jones was quite perky

afterwards, quite pleased It was in the face of

adversity today for England? Going 13 men down, England were very

happy to come away winning. It was always good to be the banana

skin and they needed to get past it and they did in the end -

it was not pretty, they had to absorb a lot of pressure,

they took the penalties on offer and for me it was great to see

George Kruis in the side as well. One more game for England

in the Autumn Internationals, England take on their final

opponent, Australia, here at Twickenham on Saturday,

highlights at six o'clock on BBC Two and that is repeated

at 11:13am on Sunday morning. After that, rugby on Thursday

at Twickenham, the women's game live

in the morning, followed by the men's match at 2:15pm

in 2016 for England, Eddie Jones would love to get

one over on Australia. He is already starting

to play mind games? He said something like Australia

will be talking rubbish And England are building to the end

of a 2016 season possibly with an unbeaten run,

which is fantastic. 12 games under Eddie Jones,

13 if you count the last game from Stuart Lancaster at the tail

end of the World Cup and that is getting close

to Lewis Moody's greatest run? They could end up equalling that

team, the team I was involved in in 2003 with that fantastic run

of 14 games unbeaten. This group of players have so much

more building to do, so much more to come,

they will beat Australia next week, so confident, they will take a lot

out of this game against Argentina and will come out of that

with four from the autumn season which is wonderful

going into the Six Nations. They are building all the time,

thank you to Lewis Moody, 12 under Eddie Jones,

13 in total, victory over Argentina but the Wallabies

are waiting for next week. Jonny May might have

won this for England!
