-he wields a lot of influence.

-It's been a bit of a strange road.

-I came over here in '99

-for a season of footy.

-I was involved with Neath

-at the time.

-As soon as I'd been here

-for a couple of days...

-..I realised I loved the country

-and the people.

-I settled down. My wife is here,

-my kids were born here. This is me.

-A lot of people mistake me

-for being South African.

-Mum takes a few seconds

-to switch in that it's me.

-With everybody else,

-I get a lot of stick for it
