Hello there and welcome to the BBC Sport Centre. Coming up, world title | :00:18. | :00:25.
boxing and two very different paths to Rio. But first, the headlines. | :00:26. | :00:30.
Gianni Infantino has his first day at work as Fifa president, voted in | :00:31. | :00:34.
yesterday. He has vowed to implement reform at the organisation. Wales | :00:35. | :00:38.
are top of the Six Nations table after beating France 19-10 in | :00:39. | :00:42.
Cardiff and England can return to the top if they avoid defeat to | :00:43. | :00:46.
Ireland later. Scotland are initially looking for their first | :00:47. | :00:49.
win of the championship. Rory McIlroy has missed the cut in | :00:50. | :00:52.
Florida for the second year running. He is a former champion at the PGA | :00:53. | :00:56.
Tour event. He said that mental errors and sloppy mistakes that | :00:57. | :01:04.
cost. He's going to be supporting Carl Frampton tonight as he takes on | :01:05. | :01:08.
Scott Quigg. Both men are putting their world titles on the line. The | :01:09. | :01:12.
build-up has been really properly with the unbeaten champions fighting | :01:13. | :01:17.
on who has got of the best dressing room. Scott Quigg is going to have | :01:18. | :01:22.
mass of local support. We have spent time with him ahead of the biggest | :01:23. | :01:28.
fight of his career. You decide when the final bell goes. People train | :01:29. | :01:34.
hard. Other people push themselves to the limit but my limit is a lot | :01:35. | :01:39.
further than anybody's else. Scott Quigg is the World Champion boxer | :01:40. | :01:42.
you probably have not heard of. He lives away from the limelight. His | :01:43. | :01:47.
weekends are spent training in Saddleworth, where everything is | :01:48. | :01:52.
hard and intense. These early morning runs have long been part of | :01:53. | :01:56.
his life. And it all stems from a decision he and his parents made ten | :01:57. | :02:02.
years ago. School was not for the sports obsessed teenager and he took | :02:03. | :02:04.
extraordinary lengths to dedicate his life to boxing. We went in one | :02:05. | :02:11.
day and sat there and he asked them to expel him. I thought, well, if | :02:12. | :02:15.
that is what he wants, you will not learn at school. I was not getting | :02:16. | :02:19.
anything out of it and neither was the school. I would not be here now | :02:20. | :02:25.
if it was not for that decision. His dad made him work in a factory in | :02:26. | :02:29.
order to experience what life would be like if he did not succeed. Not | :02:30. | :02:32.
that Scots needed that lesson. Training took over as life and soon, | :02:33. | :02:37.
the whole family's. We went to Florida once for a family holiday. | :02:38. | :02:42.
All the time we were there, all he was concerned about was going home. | :02:43. | :02:48.
He has not lived a life, the last ten years, but it is what he wanted | :02:49. | :02:52.
to do. He has been fully focused and nothing can get in the way. All the | :02:53. | :02:58.
hard work has paid off and Scott is now a World Champion but so is his | :02:59. | :03:02.
opponent, Carl Frampton, who brings his world title to Manchester this | :03:03. | :03:05.
evening for an all British unification fight that has grabbed | :03:06. | :03:10.
the attention of the world's media. I feel like a kid at Christmas. I am | :03:11. | :03:16.
super excited. I cannot wait to get going. There has been a lot of back | :03:17. | :03:20.
and forth for a long time and the fight is just around the corner. To | :03:21. | :03:25.
be involved in a fight where we are both unbeaten, both world champions, | :03:26. | :03:30.
both lucky to have each other, and be as good as we are, that is what | :03:31. | :03:34.
makes this fight so big. Belfast and Manchester will be represented in | :03:35. | :03:38.
their thousands. The fight sold out in a matter of minutes and the | :03:39. | :03:41.
bookmakers cannot split them. The stakes are high for both fighters | :03:42. | :03:46.
and there is no room for self-doubt. People can say that they are | :03:47. | :03:49.
dedicated and focused, and they might be. But they do not come close | :03:50. | :03:55.
to the way I live. But that will not win me the fight. What will win me | :03:56. | :03:58.
the fight will be that I am the better fighter and I will prove that | :03:59. | :04:03.
on the night. And that site is live on Radio Five Live from ten o'clock | :04:04. | :04:08.
tonight. The world title, the pinnacle of their careers. This | :04:09. | :04:12.
summer it is all about Olympic and Paralympic gold for thousands of | :04:13. | :04:14.
athletes. The real games are less than six months away. John drain has | :04:15. | :04:21.
secured a place in the barrel of the judo squad. He is visually impaired | :04:22. | :04:27.
and suffers from an attention deficit disorder which throws up | :04:28. | :04:29.
further challenges. We went to meet him. Particularly with this sort of | :04:30. | :04:42.
thing, ADHD is not a great partner. I was not willing to accept the | :04:43. | :04:46.
problems with my eyesight. This is how John sees the world and the judo | :04:47. | :04:51.
M80. Five years ago, during a routine eye check, he was told he | :04:52. | :04:59.
was losing his sight. -- judo M80. His life then changed for ever. For | :05:00. | :05:02.
me, I thought this could not be real. I was very reluctant, I | :05:03. | :05:11.
thought it could not be right. It seemed unfair. Despite his | :05:12. | :05:21.
reservations, he became a world bronze medallist in 2014. However, | :05:22. | :05:27.
nine months ago, he suffered a serious knee injury that threatened | :05:28. | :05:32.
his chances of qualifying for real. Personally, I don't think I dealt | :05:33. | :05:41.
with it well. It was more about the rehabilitation of my mind than my | :05:42. | :05:46.
knee. I was in a sad place. Just before the injury, I was suffering | :05:47. | :05:50.
from depression and with the injury and everything, it went as far as | :05:51. | :05:58.
depression can go. From the darkest of days, he turned it around. In | :05:59. | :06:05.
real, he will be battling for gold but now, he is focused on the | :06:06. | :06:12.
battles closer to home. You always look back at something through the | :06:13. | :06:16.
last emotional experience. I only wish to think back to the last five | :06:17. | :06:21.
months when I have had the support. That is why I am hesitant about | :06:22. | :06:23.
looking too far ahead. So he is Rio bound - | :06:24. | :06:27.
hurdler Andrew Pozzi will hope He was flying in the build up | :06:28. | :06:29.
to the 2012 Games but an injury The 23 year old is racing | :06:30. | :06:35.
at the British Indoor Championships He's Olympic dreaming once again, | :06:36. | :06:43.
but as he told Joe Lynskey, Andrew Pozzi has not had the best | :06:44. | :06:59.
preparations. His legacy wrapped. Pozzi out of the blocks but not | :07:00. | :07:03.
running well. And that is it. It must be a huge disappointment? Yes, | :07:04. | :07:08.
to lead like that is heartbreaking. There was no happy home Olympics for | :07:09. | :07:12.
Andrew Pozzi. It is three and a half years since the heartbreak at the | :07:13. | :07:15.
first hurdle but the memories do not get any easier. It was incredibly | :07:16. | :07:20.
difficult because it was in London on my friends and family were in | :07:21. | :07:25.
London to see me. For me, I needed a couple of days to be by myself. It | :07:26. | :07:33.
was not enjoyable at all. I have only watched it once and it was a | :07:34. | :07:38.
very formative experience. 2012 proved just the start of Pozzi's | :07:39. | :07:42.
injury problems. After the handspring ended his Olympic dream, | :07:43. | :07:46.
the next few years were hampered by foot injuries, meaning no chance of | :07:47. | :07:50.
making the Commonwealth Games or the World Championships in Beijing. | :07:51. | :07:55.
There have been more troughs than peaks and my motivation has fallen | :07:56. | :08:00.
drastically. It has been very difficult to keep going, especially | :08:01. | :08:04.
when I feel like I have all this potential that I am unable to get | :08:05. | :08:12.
out. This weekend, Pozzi returns to competition looking to reclaim his | :08:13. | :08:16.
spot as Britain's number one. And with real on the horizon, the next | :08:17. | :08:21.
target is a place on the podium. -- and with Rio on the horizon. It is | :08:22. | :08:26.
difficult to recover from injury because it does not only Sky you | :08:27. | :08:30.
physically, but mentally. It is a tough challenge but he has to be | :08:31. | :08:33.
confident that he can do it. It has been a joy to get training again. I | :08:34. | :08:38.
want to be in a state where I can do myself justice and the level we can | :08:39. | :08:44.
achieve, the only standard is to be challenging for a medal in the | :08:45. | :08:52.
final. And fingers crossed he stays injury free. A quick update on the | :08:53. | :08:56.
Premier League match at Upton Park. 0-0. From all of us on Saturday | :08:57. | :08:59.
Sportsday, goodbye. 'I think he was being | :09:00. | :09:18.
nudged there by Moreno. | :09:19. | :09:22. |
