At just before 6pm last Saturday evening, it was briefly looking

:00:40.:00:43.

possible that Wales would be playing Italy today needing a win to seal

:00:44.:00:47.

a third Six Nations in Championship in five years.

:00:48.:00:51.

But alas for Warren Gatland's men, they fell just short against

:00:52.:00:54.

Today, after a testing week, the message is clear from the boss. Make

:00:55.:01:05.

up for the disappointment of last week.

:01:06.:01:05.

For Italy, they already know the ignominy of a sixth Wooden Spoon

:01:06.:01:08.

in the last nine seasons is theirs, but they'll be looking for a fitting

:01:09.:01:12.

leaving present for coach Jacques Brunel, in charge

:01:13.:01:14.

Cardiff is not used hosting a match with not much to play for but the

:01:15.:01:25.

roof is closed and the one we can guarantee is another red-hot

:01:26.:01:29.

atmosphere in the principality Stadium.

:01:30.:01:33.

Here is the RBS Six Nations table going into the final

:01:34.:01:35.

England are already the winners for the first time in five years.

:01:36.:01:40.

Tonight in Paris, they go for their first Grand Slam since 2003.

:01:41.:01:44.

And you can see if Eddie Jones can emulate that great

:01:45.:01:46.

Sir Clive Woodward team live here on BBC1.

:01:47.:01:48.

Before that, Scotland will travel to Dublin to take on a rejuvenated

:01:49.:01:53.

Ireland, and we lead things off here in Cardiff.

:01:54.:02:00.

We have a Welshman, and Italian written, and Irishman. We're not

:02:01.:02:06.

quite sure why Keith Wood Mike Rozier but we welcome him -- is here

:02:07.:02:12.

but we welcome him anyway. There's a joke in there, definitely!

:02:13.:02:15.

Let's start with a reminder of last weekend, when the Six Nations really

:02:16.:02:18.

It is drummed into everybody, the Six Nations does not do easy. It may

:02:19.:02:31.

look always brilliant and amazing but it does not do easy. This was

:02:32.:02:39.

brilliant. And this was going to be an amazing try. But it was all a

:02:40.:02:47.

little too easy. Italy just could not stop giving. And Ireland just

:02:48.:02:56.

could not stop taking. Gorging on tries, six of the Rory Best, seven,

:02:57.:03:05.

eight, nine, easy on the Irish eyes. Oh, Italy.

:03:06.:03:10.

What is it like to be new to the Six Nations? A first taste of an ancient

:03:11.:03:21.

rivalry. Easy. If ever a player made light of the strains of the

:03:22.:03:26.

showdown, it was Maro Itoje. England, racking up the points.

:03:27.:03:30.

Whoever would have said it could be this easy? This hard for Wales? But

:03:31.:03:43.

the Six Nations does not do easy. And even when England's numbers went

:03:44.:03:48.

up, they also went down to 14 and Wales came to life. Suddenly, it was

:03:49.:03:57.

anything but easy. And it was growing more difficult with each

:03:58.:04:02.

charge. With every passing minute. And who knows? Being a touch judges

:04:03.:04:13.

never easy. What is it like to be new to the Six Nations? That is

:04:14.:04:14.

easy. It is good. The hardest thing in the Six

:04:15.:04:29.

Nations? Working out France. With the single-handed grace, they can

:04:30.:04:33.

cut the best into tartan ribbons. But they remain a mystery to

:04:34.:04:38.

themselves. And Scotland were never going to make this easy for them.

:04:39.:04:43.

Scotland, bed up with not delivering, hardened themselves. No

:04:44.:04:50.

excuses, deliver. France, stay calm, relaxed, take it easy. Not that

:04:51.:04:57.

easy. Too easy for Duncan Taylor. It was not the end. Win here and France

:04:58.:05:02.

were still in the title chase. The skill of the day would hand the

:05:03.:05:08.

title to England. England, watching in their easy chairs.

:05:09.:05:17.

And the Welsh rugby fans still asked the question, what on earth happened

:05:18.:05:22.

in the opening ten or 15 minutes at Twickenham? It's been a really tough

:05:23.:05:26.

week for the Welsh Rugby union and Warren Gatland after Joe Marler,

:05:27.:05:30.

Samson Lee, what was said on the pitch. Does that have any bearing on

:05:31.:05:35.

what happens today? I don't think it has any bearing on today's match for

:05:36.:05:38.

the players. That's on the periphery and they've got a job to do and they

:05:39.:05:42.

want to put things right. After a poor performance at Twickenham, yes,

:05:43.:05:45.

they played well in the last 20 but generally it was a poor performance.

:05:46.:05:49.

I agree with you, it's not been a great week for the game. Warren

:05:50.:05:57.

Gatland will probably regret what he said in the middle of the week but

:05:58.:06:00.

hopefully we can draw a line under it and move on. He described the

:06:01.:06:02.

comments as, " banter", but the trouble is, the Welsh Rugby union

:06:03.:06:06.

and Warren Gatland found themselves the story. Nobly covered themselves

:06:07.:06:09.

in glory this week. Everyone seemed to get it wrong and the only person

:06:10.:06:12.

came out with any credit with Samson Lee. I think all the Welsh players

:06:13.:06:17.

will gather around him and make certain he has a good day today.

:06:18.:06:21.

Carlo, yet another trip to Cardiff for Italy where they don't have a

:06:22.:06:25.

happy hunting ground. It's been an awful tournament. On the back of

:06:26.:06:31.

what happened in London last week as well, they are under a massive

:06:32.:06:34.

amount of pressure to perform, get a bit of pride and take something with

:06:35.:06:38.

the tournament. -- what happened in Ireland. They do give Jacques Brunel

:06:39.:06:42.

good sendoff. The worry for Italy is they are facing a wounded Wales, the

:06:43.:06:46.

player still hurting after last week. It's going to be difficult,

:06:47.:06:51.

losing 17 players with injuries and a pumped up Welsh side who want to

:06:52.:06:54.

put things right and I think they will come out of the blocks firing.

:06:55.:06:58.

Very poor starts against Ireland and England but at home they want to

:06:59.:07:01.

finish with a bang. They did a similar thing to years ago to

:07:02.:07:04.

Scotland and put 50 points on them so it could be a long day for Italy.

:07:05.:07:09.

Keith Summey you are in Dublin, our bad were Italy? Dreadful, ten metres

:07:10.:07:14.

to go to their own line and they waved people through and Ireland

:07:15.:07:17.

scored with ease. The forwards stopped making those big, heavy

:07:18.:07:21.

tackles. Playing against Italy other forward is always horribly hard,

:07:22.:07:24.

very difficult but it was not for Ireland last week. Jacques Brunel's

:07:25.:07:30.

final Six Nations match in charge today. Conor O'Shea is likely to

:07:31.:07:33.

take charge. Whoever it is, it will be quite

:07:34.:07:35.

a task after a dispiriting month Try for the French winger. That is a

:07:36.:07:54.

monster kick. He has missed. An heroic performance by the whole

:07:55.:07:57.

Italian side but France have come through.

:07:58.:08:06.

It is a simple gift the Jonathan Joseph. Italy, simply giving England

:08:07.:08:12.

too much possession. This is more like it, England's cutting loose.

:08:13.:08:25.

And in goes Seymour, that should clinch it. Scotland storming away to

:08:26.:08:32.

victory in Rome. And for Italy, trips to Dublin and Cardiff make the

:08:33.:08:36.

Wooden Spoon a grave likelihood. You wonder what might have been for

:08:37.:08:39.

Italy if they'd won the opening match against France in Paris?

:08:40.:08:43.

Interception and they tried for Ireland! Italy just want to get

:08:44.:08:49.

home. Dreadful play from Italy. When you lose matches like that, you say

:08:50.:08:54.

you deserve it but when you see what we have done in the past, I think

:08:55.:08:57.

Italy have started to play in this tournament.

:08:58.:09:00.

Even if they win today, Italy cannot avoid the Wooden Spoon,

:09:01.:09:03.

and that means they've finished bottom of the table 11 times

:09:04.:09:05.

in the 17 years since they joined the competition.

:09:06.:09:07.

It can't have been an easy week in the Italian camp.

:09:08.:09:10.

Ross Harries has been speaking to their team manager Carlo

:09:11.:09:12.

Tomato Alan starting at ten today, your fourth fly half in the

:09:13.:09:22.

tournament so far. How difficult is it to get consistency when your

:09:23.:09:26.

playmaker and your general is different in virtually every game?

:09:27.:09:30.

Yes, it is difficult but it is like that. Tommaso Allan has been out

:09:31.:09:34.

with the previous injuries he had but then he recovered with his club

:09:35.:09:36.

and started to play and now he's here and has the chance and the

:09:37.:09:40.

quality. I hope that he will give his contribution to the team, to a

:09:41.:09:46.

great performance today. This is a dead rubber, Italy can't finish

:09:47.:09:49.

anything other than bottom of the pile which has reignited the debate

:09:50.:09:53.

about promotion and relegation from the Six Nations. Sergio Parisse made

:09:54.:09:56.

his views clear, he's dead against it. What are your thoughts? Why, I

:09:57.:10:02.

don't understand the reason why, every year, we get out at that point

:10:03.:10:08.

from 2011, to 2015, in 25 matches in the Six Nations, Italy won five out

:10:09.:10:15.

of 25 and Scotland won four. So why every year do you have to get out of

:10:16.:10:20.

this point? I think Italy is one of the six and definitely Italy

:10:21.:10:24.

deserves to be there. The most important thing is how we can work

:10:25.:10:31.

better to make a much more competitive side and the possibility

:10:32.:10:36.

we have our very big. I think the Pro12 is starting, with the new

:10:37.:10:38.

agreement that we achieved, it is starting to produce better results.

:10:39.:10:45.

The new coaching course that will start I think is more concentrated

:10:46.:10:50.

on that. I don't see any reason and I really would like not to hear that

:10:51.:10:55.

any more because there is no sense. Best of luck today. Thank you.

:10:56.:11:01.

Songs ringing around the stadium and do you think that under Jacques

:11:02.:11:06.

Brunel, Italian rugby has regressed? The amount of Plessey as I do select

:11:07.:11:11.

because of injury most of the time, is expanded the pool and the depth

:11:12.:11:16.

as well. -- amount of players he has had. Behind the scenes, he's got

:11:17.:11:20.

academies in place to choose players and he's gripped feeding that

:11:21.:11:23.

information and he can call on players that three or four years

:11:24.:11:26.

ago, he could not call upon because they were playing the majority of

:11:27.:11:33.

the time in amateur rugby. I remember being with you under the

:11:34.:11:36.

Nick Mallett regime in Ireland came close to losing and they were a

:11:37.:11:37.

match for everyone and they even close to losing and they were a

:11:38.:11:40.

beat France on a final Saturday. Do you think they've gone backwards? I

:11:41.:11:44.

think they really struggled this year, as I limited, with a bit of a

:11:45.:11:48.

World Cup hangover. It takes a huge amount out of the team. If you have

:11:49.:11:52.

injuries and you don't have strength in depth, you become incredibly

:11:53.:11:58.

exposed. But the last two or three Six Nations, as it has gone on,

:11:59.:12:01.

Italy have got worse towards the end. That is definitely to do with

:12:02.:12:05.

strength in depth. They need to build on it. They have put the

:12:06.:12:08.

structures in place but they need to start delivering the players into

:12:09.:12:12.

the first-team very quickly. There's a great debate raging right now,

:12:13.:12:15.

Sergio Parisse did not like it when it came up in a news conference

:12:16.:12:19.

yesterday about whether there should be relegation from the Six Nations,

:12:20.:12:23.

like Georgia, who play in Romania today, they are ranked higher than

:12:24.:12:25.

Italy and if today, they are ranked higher than

:12:26.:12:29.

team finishing bottom of the Six Nations taking on the team at the

:12:30.:12:33.

top of the European Nations cup for a place in the Six Nations in a

:12:34.:12:37.

play-off, that makes it a really exciting finale. It's a valid

:12:38.:12:40.

argument we're not talking about just Italy, if Wales finished

:12:41.:12:44.

bottom, they played off against Georgia, 55000 and we saw in the

:12:45.:12:47.

World Cup how dangerous they are and how much they are improving,

:12:48.:12:53.

Georgia. The only problem is there's another two Test matches and players

:12:54.:12:55.

I have already played too many games. It's something that could

:12:56.:12:59.

I have already played too many early. We should give Italy more

:13:00.:13:01.

Robert Giles because they've been hit with injuries but it's something

:13:02.:13:05.

to look at in the future. One bright light has been Palazzani. He has

:13:06.:13:10.

been, last week, there were not many things that went well

:13:11.:13:14.

been, last week, there were not many his work and his sheer commitment to

:13:15.:13:17.

everything he was doing on the field last weekend was something really

:13:18.:13:18.

positive to take away from it. Here, last weekend was something really

:13:19.:13:28.

absolutely blazing behind him and he runs the clear, blocking line, he's

:13:29.:13:31.

outpaced but he manages to stop a certain try. Here, he's looking for

:13:32.:13:34.

instinct and territory and certain try. Here, he's looking for

:13:35.:13:38.

keep the pack moving forward and then he had a little chip over the

:13:39.:13:42.

top of the ruck and find space into touch. They have gained a lot of

:13:43.:13:47.

territory. He is doing what every number nine should do. He's in the

:13:48.:13:51.

second line of defence, managing the boys upright and clearing those

:13:52.:13:52.

sweeping kicks, adding something. boys upright and clearing those

:13:53.:13:59.

Who is there to clear it up, but Palazzani? To some up his afternoon,

:14:00.:14:02.

this pass from the base of the ruck floating over the top of the Irish

:14:03.:14:08.

defence and it is the vision, getting your head stuck in the ruck,

:14:09.:14:11.

ball over the top, beautiful, floated pass. But the problem is,

:14:12.:14:16.

consistently when it comes to Italy, we're only singling out one or two

:14:17.:14:16.

players in the Test match. we're only singling out one or two

:14:17.:14:23.

the difficulty. Sergio Parisse is talked about in every game Andy

:14:24.:14:24.

Goode get their discipline as well, they give

:14:25.:14:31.

away so many silly penalties, it their discipline as well, they give

:14:32.:14:39.

puts them under pressure. I'm fascinated to see how they will come

:14:40.:14:39.

out and approach today, fascinated to see how they will come

:14:40.:14:41.

take it back to fascinated to see how they will come

:14:42.:14:44.

try to give it a go against fascinated to see how they will come

:14:45.:14:48.

team which could be difficult for them. It's been a testing week for

:14:49.:14:50.

the Welsh Rugby union and for Warren Gatland.

:14:51.:14:52.

For changes today, three of them injury enforced. Where you tempted

:14:53.:14:59.

to make more? -- four changes. We discussed it but we felt that the

:15:00.:15:02.

injuries were enough and there's an opportunity for the players that

:15:03.:15:06.

played last week and for whatever reason, we did not turn up for the

:15:07.:15:09.

first 16 minutes and then we were fantastic of the last 20. -- but the

:15:10.:15:14.

first 60 minutes. Sometimes there's a chance for players to go out there

:15:15.:15:17.

and redeem themselves, though. The one change is Webb in an scrum-half.

:15:18.:15:23.

What has he done in your rise to warrant regaining the shirt from

:15:24.:15:27.

Gareth Davies? Garris is pretty unlucky but Webb has not had a lot

:15:28.:15:31.

of rugby. He was potentially fit a couple of weeks ago. But getting

:15:32.:15:40.

back to play action between the Test matches and union, I thought he

:15:41.:15:43.

looked pretty sharp last week and that brings experience and be

:15:44.:15:46.

communication and torque is what sets them apart sometimes from the

:15:47.:15:49.

other scrum-half, he's very vocal. It's been a difficult week on and

:15:50.:15:54.

off the pitch. As it difficult to focus minds ahead of this week? Not

:15:55.:15:58.

really, we have put issues behind us, have not spoke about anything

:15:59.:16:02.

during the week. In fairness to the players, they were brilliant during

:16:03.:16:06.

the week. The coaches said to the players, what could we have done

:16:07.:16:09.

differently in terms of preparation in the way that we started the first

:16:10.:16:12.

half against England? They were pretty honest with themselves and

:16:13.:16:18.

made a pretty honest assessment and said it was not a good enough start

:16:19.:16:21.

to last week and we showed what we could do in the end, in the last 20

:16:22.:16:26.

minutes. We outscored England three tries to one but still lost the game

:16:27.:16:29.

which is Prydie disappointing. We need to start well. That has been

:16:30.:16:33.

the Hulk Hogan is in terms of preparing and starting well. -- the

:16:34.:16:37.

whole focus. The Welsh rugby fans are pretty well voice today but if

:16:38.:16:44.

they had their way, all of the starting 15 last week would not have

:16:45.:16:49.

played. We take it pretty seriously! That's a bit harsh but it was an

:16:50.:16:52.

incredibly poor start, everyone is scratching their heads, how did

:16:53.:16:55.

Wales start so poorly? It was something they don't do normally,

:16:56.:16:59.

missing tackles, a poor kick from Gareth Davies giving Mike Brown a

:17:00.:17:02.

chance to run back and Dan Lydiate misses the tackle and England on the

:17:03.:17:06.

front foot. Weak ball from Ben Youngs, who I thought was brilliant

:17:07.:17:10.

in the first 20-30 minutes. England were smart, went down the blindside

:17:11.:17:14.

and took the Welsh split defence out of play. Good yards by Robshaw, over

:17:15.:17:18.

the gain line and this is where they were really good, Dylan Hartley is

:17:19.:17:21.

carrying right into the strength of the Welsh defence. Look at the dam

:17:22.:17:25.

between Jonathan Davies and the others, so disorganised, if you get

:17:26.:17:29.

an off-load like Dylan Hartley does there, George Ford get him on the

:17:30.:17:32.

front foot and that is the first minute of the game but without the

:17:33.:17:35.

ball as well, they were so poor and disjointed. No one is taking

:17:36.:17:41.

control. Dan Biggar goes to nobody. Robert cleans up but they are on the

:17:42.:17:44.

back foot. They are all looking at each other, Gareth Davies is not

:17:45.:17:48.

sure what to do and in the end it's just desperation, five Welsh

:17:49.:17:52.

forwards who are used to going around the corner and carrying.

:17:53.:17:56.

Leaving it to Dan Biggar to put it up and Mike Brown, no challenge and

:17:57.:17:59.

he's on the front that again. That was the first few yards and again,

:18:00.:18:03.

Ben Youngs and George Ford, they should have finished this off and it

:18:04.:18:06.

could have been 30 points up, England in the first. And given your

:18:07.:18:11.

experience working under Warren Gatland, Rob Howley and Shaun

:18:12.:18:15.

Edwards, you know how Shaun Edwards prides himself on defence and

:18:16.:18:20.

missing tackles for Wales is under a Jurisic. It's not a mindset and you

:18:21.:18:25.

have to give England credit, their footwork of the back three and the

:18:26.:18:28.

centres and the back row carried really well. But I'm pretty sure

:18:29.:18:30.

that the first 20 minutes, you're not going to see many missed tackles

:18:31.:18:35.

from the Welsh. The defensive line was not as quick as normal for Wales

:18:36.:18:39.

and actually, the kick chase in the first 15 or 20 minutes was

:18:40.:18:44.

nonexistent from the forwards. You know you are going to get hard words

:18:45.:18:47.

from the changing room during the week. We are not used to that from

:18:48.:18:53.

Wales. We are used to huge energy and a huge amount of noise in their

:18:54.:18:57.

defensive line or their forwards delivering for the team. They seemed

:18:58.:19:01.

a bit flat. It is amazing, it was a big game for them, really big game

:19:02.:19:05.

and they did not quite get into the match. George North have had a

:19:06.:19:08.

couple of big bangs to the head and there have been concerned about his

:19:09.:19:11.

health and welfare but this Six Nations, he's been absolutely

:19:12.:19:15.

terrific. Yes and we forget that he is still only 23. Most players win

:19:16.:19:20.

their first cap at 23 and this is his 60th. He came on the scene with

:19:21.:19:24.

such a bang and he is such a prolific try scorer. In an open game

:19:25.:19:28.

like today, and full of confidence from he's going to be a very

:19:29.:19:31.

dangerous weapon for Wales. I think he's lost a bit of weight. He seems

:19:32.:19:37.

to have trimmed down a bit. Particularly in the top. His legs

:19:38.:19:40.

are still like tree trunks! He's a big and physical man but he seems to

:19:41.:19:44.

have shed a few pounds and he's back to being light on his feet again.

:19:45.:19:48.

He's such a dangerous weapon for Wales. It is one thing to see him,

:19:49.:19:54.

looking for work, coming off the wing, attacking the forwards and

:19:55.:19:57.

close to the breakdown, not just standing, waiting for the ball to be

:19:58.:19:59.

delivered but looking for work. As a tight forward, when you see this

:20:00.:20:02.

mutant of a man in front of you, it changes the way the defensive

:20:03.:20:03.

structure works. This afternoon will be a memorable

:20:04.:20:05.

occasion for two Welsh Rhys Webb will make his first start

:20:06.:20:08.

since rupturing ankle ligaments against Italy in September

:20:09.:20:11.

and missing the World Cup, whilst Dan Lydiate captains

:20:12.:20:13.

his country in a Test Warren Gatland asked me yesterday

:20:14.:20:22.

and I jumped at the chance. I've never done it in a capped game

:20:23.:20:25.

before. It is a massive honour for my family as well. I'm chuffed to

:20:26.:20:31.

bits. With the squad we have got, there's a wealth of experience

:20:32.:20:36.

there, Jamie Roberts, Jonathan Davies, it makes your job easy when

:20:37.:20:39.

you are looking round and there's a leader throughout the team. On for

:20:40.:20:43.

Wales at scrum-half, Rhys Webb, horrible injury in the World Cup

:20:44.:20:47.

campaign but back in action now. The World Cup, I try to stay away from

:20:48.:20:51.

it as much as possible because I was in a dark place at the time. I

:20:52.:20:54.

worked hard to get myself back in a good position. All the way to the

:20:55.:21:00.

corner and scores! What a trifle Gareth Davies! Wearing the jersey

:21:01.:21:06.

makes me work a bit harder because I want to get the number nine jersey

:21:07.:21:10.

back. It is the end of Warren Gatland's title hopes. At this

:21:11.:21:14.

level, if you are off by 1% in different aspects of the game, it

:21:15.:21:17.

makes a big difference. There's a lot of head scratching going on this

:21:18.:21:20.

week, and soul-searching, and you want answers because nobody wants to

:21:21.:21:26.

be like that again. We let the fans down but not only them, no one is

:21:27.:21:29.

hurting more than us and the coaches. It is not a blame culture

:21:30.:21:33.

but we are honest. That is the best way to be. If you can't be honest

:21:34.:21:36.

with each other, you will never learn. We've got a lot to prove,

:21:37.:21:41.

ourselves and the coaches need to prove that we are a lot better than

:21:42.:21:46.

we were last week and Wales itself, we know how much support we have

:21:47.:21:49.

from the nation itself and we want to go out there and do them proud

:21:50.:21:52.

this weekend. We want to play and the boys have been trying to play.

:21:53.:21:55.

We won't be chucking it around like the Barbarians but we know we have a

:21:56.:21:58.

job to do first. Hopefully they will tire and the boys can show what they

:21:59.:22:00.

are all about. There he is, a massive David Dan

:22:01.:22:07.

Lydiate as well but I want to talk to you about Rhys Webb, he's a

:22:08.:22:10.

wonderful character to have around as God. -- a massive date for Dan

:22:11.:22:15.

Lydiate. A remarkable recovery for Webb, ended in September but back in

:22:16.:22:20.

a number nine jersey. He's hit the ground running after a dreadful

:22:21.:22:23.

injury the World Cup warm up game. It's a great position for Wales to

:22:24.:22:27.

be in, choosing between Webb and Gareth Davies but I think Rhys Webb

:22:28.:22:31.

alongside Dan Biggar, who he plays his club rugby with, probably gets

:22:32.:22:35.

him the nod. It's the worst possible scenario for Italy in a way, simply

:22:36.:22:38.

because you have Rhys Webb coming out here and he said, when it. I

:22:39.:22:44.

think that is the right mindset for this game. We called it a dead

:22:45.:22:48.

rubber earlier but you are playing for your country and wearing your

:22:49.:22:51.

jersey and you want to deliver for it. There's a bit of the pressure

:22:52.:22:55.

off because Italy are struggling and Wales want to get their confidence

:22:56.:22:59.

back. If they get couple of early scores, the floodgates will open.

:23:00.:23:04.

Fantastic atmosphere at the Principalities daily and a massive

:23:05.:23:08.

day for Dan Lydiate but is he playing as well as he has done for

:23:09.:23:13.

Wales? I don't think the back row as the unit has functions that well but

:23:14.:23:16.

it is a huge day and he deserves to be captain because he's been a

:23:17.:23:19.

stalwart for the last four or five years. A proud moment for him and

:23:20.:23:23.

his family but hopefully the Welsh team can score nine tries against

:23:24.:23:27.

Italy like Ireland did last week. I think that's exactly what is going

:23:28.:23:31.

to happen. It could be 60, 65, 70 points. It could be that hard for

:23:32.:23:37.

Italy today. A wonderful atmosphere, red hot inside the Brezovan at

COMMENTATOR: It has been a fairly low-key build-up to the game but

:27:16.:27:18.

Wales at this stage in particular, don't do low anthems. The home

:27:19.:27:22.

support looking for a festival into this Six Nations. You might see a

:27:23.:27:26.

fair few different names tried out today but Warren Gatland goes

:27:27.:27:29.

largely with the tried and tested. But a new captain in Dan Lydiate,

:27:30.:27:34.

taking the armband from Sam Warburton and Justin Tipuric has

:27:35.:27:39.

openside flanker. A timely return to Luke Charteris in the second row

:27:40.:27:42.

alongside Bradley Davies. A significant change in the backline

:27:43.:27:46.

where Rhys Webb, after all his injury problems, is back at

scrum-half ahead of Gareth Davies and Hallam Amos comes in for Alex

:30:26.:30:31.

winger. Still there, for Wales. A little pokes through from Williams.

:30:32.:30:36.

red blood the Azzurri are making a bit of decent ground with the ball

:31:14.:31:16.

and the result is a Wales scrum at the end of that.

:31:17.:31:26.

Everyone has spoken about this call in today. I think the Italians just

:31:27.:31:39.

have to up their intensity. They've got to do the basics well but also I

:31:40.:31:41.

think they've got to keep the ball and go through the phases. When they

:31:42.:31:45.

have the ball, they are in control of the game. It is a big ask.

:31:46.:31:51.

They've got to start well and hang on in there. He has had a great

:31:52.:31:57.

championship. He is looking for a try today. That would be four games

:31:58.:32:01.

in a row. Only Shane Williams has done that for Wales in four straight

:32:02.:32:09.

Six Nations games. The coaches have spoken about him being involved in

:32:10.:32:13.

the attacking game. They still have to earn the right to go wide. They

:32:14.:32:19.

still have to go forward first. Let's see if they develop their

:32:20.:32:32.

attacking play. Looking forward to the battle up front. He is up

:32:33.:32:35.

against Martin Castrogiovanni. There is a massive right-hand side scrum.

:32:36.:32:38.

Italy really need to try and dominate this. They need to get

:32:39.:32:51.

results from this. Just bounced off his man. Wales pouring up to the 22.

:32:52.:33:00.

Scrum-half felt that. A little cross from Dan Biggar. He gets in their in

:33:01.:33:09.

front of his opposite number. They have gone to the offside. I think he

:33:10.:33:15.

overran it. No advantage here to Italy. Whiteman string -- it would

:33:16.:33:25.

be interesting to look at Guglielmo Palazzani. Here is the kick. How the

:33:26.:33:32.

assistant referee, look at this, how the assistant referee hasn't seen

:33:33.:33:36.

that. It should be a penalty for Italy. Instead, line to Wales. Rhys

:33:37.:33:44.

Webb. He scores. Wales have been tried. Italy, when you see the

:33:45.:33:51.

replay, have a sense of injustice. What a return for the scrum-half. A

:33:52.:33:57.

great finish once again for Rhys Webb. He adapted so well to

:33:58.:34:03.

international rugby. One opportunity. For the first four

:34:04.:34:09.

minutes, he was given, given. Just watch this. The ball just drops out.

:34:10.:34:15.

I think the referee a little bit is in the way. There is the conversion.

:34:16.:34:23.

Rhys Webb is so lethal round the pace at the right. If forwards don't

:34:24.:34:28.

give him enough attention and close in that space, he will explode all

:34:29.:34:33.

afternoon. Offside before that line-out. It should have been an

:34:34.:34:38.

Italian penalty. Once Wales got this, and that is what Gareth Davies

:34:39.:34:43.

has been doing in his time as a scrum-half, and Wales begin the

:34:44.:34:47.

scoring. Five minutes gone. Dan Biggar takes the restart. And

:34:48.:35:04.

Samsung Lee. Map sent it high. An enclosed arena today.

:35:05.:35:11.

Samsung Lee. Map sent it high. An was Evans. A bit of a fumble from

:35:12.:35:19.

Jonathan Davies. It went backwards, says the referee. A chance for

:35:20.:35:23.

Italy, but well watched by Williams. Great covering by the full-back.

:35:24.:35:29.

They are trying to play it. It's going to be loose. They are going to

:35:30.:35:37.

create chances. An expansive game plan. Wales are looking at moving

:35:38.:35:40.

the ball but it isn't under control. Somebody like that Italian, he's got

:35:41.:35:48.

the skills and he will exploit those advantages, Leonardo Sarto. Rhys

:35:49.:35:55.

Webb gives it to Dan Biggar. The ball has gone and Jonathan Davies

:35:56.:36:01.

has to move it up. -- he has to do it up. That was a risky play. They

:36:02.:36:09.

will be looking to exit from the pace of that trial. Everything has

:36:10.:36:12.

will be looking to exit from the to be spot on and clinical. It

:36:13.:36:15.

seemed a bit loose. Uncharacteristic of Wales. Italy, I think, a

:36:16.:36:24.

promising attacking position. Italy's line at this time,... The

:36:25.:36:39.

penalty to Italy. There was interference, Guglielmo Palazzani

:36:40.:36:43.

going up. The right call from the referee. He is impeded as he tries

:36:44.:36:48.

to get the ball out of the air. A clear penalty. Tommy Alan coax

:36:49.:36:59.

into the corner and Italy will have a seven metre

:37:00.:37:08.

Here come Italy. front. And the big beast, Martin

:37:09.:37:20.

Castrogiovanni, has it at the back. Just about lost it, Guglielmo

:37:21.:37:22.

Palazzani, but clings on. Just about lost it, Guglielmo

:37:23.:37:35.

Allan takes it in. A very busy blindside flanker. Francesco Minto.

:37:36.:37:44.

Martin Castrogiovanni alongside. Guglielmo

:37:45.:37:45.

Martin Castrogiovanni alongside. confident scrum-half.

:37:46.:37:52.

Martin Castrogiovanni alongside. Lovotti, the loosehead prop, takes

:37:53.:38:00.

it in. It just goes to show, once one of your playmakers and somebody

:38:01.:38:02.

has got their hands on the ball for one of your playmakers and somebody

:38:03.:38:06.

most of the game, if they take it out of play, Italy losing a bit of

:38:07.:38:11.

direction and cohesion. Before the scrum, let's move back to just

:38:12.:38:16.

before that Welsh try. The Italians are running on. Just watch. They are

:38:17.:38:24.

clearly offside. Lily, clearly. So, you know, that has to be an Italian

:38:25.:38:29.

penalty. I think the scrum-half makes the most of it, really. They

:38:30.:38:35.

are up against it anyway, so that is a poor refereeing decision by the

:38:36.:38:42.

assistant. Clearly offside. A Wales ball, and Wales have a free kick for

:38:43.:38:48.

an early engagement by Martin Castrogiovanni. He is the man

:38:49.:38:53.

singled out by the referee. A good kick. Don't see it often. Played 40

:38:54.:39:00.

minutes down the pitch. In seeding a penalty inside the opposition 22,

:39:01.:39:06.

normally you are going 20 metres to recover your line-up. -- conceding a

:39:07.:39:10.

penalty. An Italian ball. Commentator's occurs. We said he was

:39:11.:39:29.

having a good game and then he blows it.

:39:30.:39:39.

Guglielmo Palazzani has taken his chance well. You do feel for them.

:39:40.:39:44.

The amount of injuries they have had, very, very difficult. You need

:39:45.:39:49.

consistency. It is a very tough competition. Turnover of players.

:39:50.:40:03.

Connor O Shea is leading the contenders to take over the Italian

:40:04.:40:07.

job, but it isn't confirmed. From that little spill forward by

:40:08.:40:18.

Guglielmo Palazzani, a Welsh ball. The scrum so far a little bit messy.

:40:19.:40:38.

Samsung Lee on the right-hand side, he needs to try and get that

:40:39.:40:43.

pressure directed straight onto the Booker. If they can get the right

:40:44.:40:50.

shoulder, it is ideal -- straight onto the hooker. Taken straightaway

:40:51.:40:59.

by Rhys Webb. From that free kick, the tackle made shore. Jonathan

:41:00.:41:06.

Davies creating a bit of pace. He must have almost overrun Biggar in

:41:07.:41:15.

there to try and free it. It is lost. Italy, from their own 22.

:41:16.:41:22.

Straight down the middle. He had a chance there. So Biggar instead. Up

:41:23.:41:33.

on Guglielmo Palazzani. Dan Biggar again, wonderful in the air. And to

:41:34.:41:41.

chart it had to be made by Francesco Minto. And of his own man. To the

:41:42.:41:51.

edge of the 22, Baldwin playing scrum-half. George north still

:41:52.:41:57.

feeling that is Wales move it wide, and a chance for Jamie Robba 's to

:41:58.:42:08.

use his strength. -- Jamie Roberts. Better passage of play from both

:42:09.:42:16.

sides. North still struggling. Wales attack with 14 men. He is stripped

:42:17.:42:25.

of the ball. Away to Davide Giazzon. A bit uncertain of himself. Back it

:42:26.:42:32.

comes to Alan. And again, straight down the middle. And Amos.

:42:33.:42:39.

Trying to take the ball a bit closer to the defenders there. That is a

:42:40.:42:46.

bit too far. Allen able to take it reasonably easy. Italy salvaging the

:42:47.:42:54.

situation. The penalty goes to Wales. Now Lee Williams is down,

:42:55.:43:01.

looking a bit groggy. Some hard hitting going in early on. I'm not

:43:02.:43:08.

sure which one it was, was it Francesco Minto on George North? He

:43:09.:43:16.

is a great tackler. When you throw those long balls, you are inviting

:43:17.:43:21.

it to happen. On the blindside, a rib tickling. He gets the ball away

:43:22.:43:26.

but he has knocked the wind out of him. Francesco Minto has made a lots

:43:27.:43:35.

of tackles. He is quite a force. You can cover the back row as well. It

:43:36.:43:41.

is a decision to make, when you are outnumbered, to cut people off. If

:43:42.:43:45.

you get man and ball together, it cuts all the momentum from the

:43:46.:43:52.

attack. Wales had an early try at you really have to respect your

:43:53.:43:56.

opponents and build a lead first of all. 14 minutes gone, ten points

:43:57.:44:04.

clear. You've got to score twice. You have to build a score, keep this

:44:05.:44:10.

Paul Burke -- keep the scoreboard ticking over.

:44:11.:44:20.

A beautiful kick by Dan Biggar. And ten points for Wales now. The

:44:21.:44:32.

scoring is slowed down after that earlier Rhys Webb tried, a sensible

:44:33.:44:38.

thing to do, getting up into double figures.

:44:39.:44:47.

Tommaso Allan going for the restart. It is a good back row, the Italians

:44:48.:44:58.

have. Perhaps some frailties elsewhere in the side. Today he is

:44:59.:45:04.

on his own. I'm not sure what he was looking to do there. Back he comes

:45:05.:45:11.

to Davies. The full-back waiting, David Odiete. Plenty of space to run

:45:12.:45:19.

into. Eventually, he ran only in to Davies. Still there, just, for

:45:20.:45:30.

Wales. There is Leonardo Sarto. And Biggar has... I think the Italians

:45:31.:45:35.

have to keep the ball there. They are on the attack. After Leonardo

:45:36.:45:40.

Sarto get the ball, they have to come inside or try something on the

:45:41.:45:44.

float will just keep it and go through the phases. They have to

:45:45.:45:47.

start all over again now. I think somebody is seriously

:45:48.:46:11.

injured. As soon as the ball went away from the line-out, one of the

:46:12.:46:18.

Italian players I'm not sure which one, they just said, something is

:46:19.:46:27.

up. I think he fell awkwardly on the back of that line-out. Just watch

:46:28.:46:34.

him, goes for the steel. He comes down. He just falls awkwardly, just

:46:35.:46:40.

loses his... There we are. He gets tipped over and comes down on his

:46:41.:46:41.

shoulder. Valerio Bernabo was right there and

:46:42.:47:03.

said it didn't look too good. Sam Overton is here. He is somewhere out

:47:04.:47:10.

there watching. Concussion for war against England. -- concussion for

:47:11.:47:17.

Warburton against England. doesn't look good for Justin

:47:18.:47:22.

Tipuric, the understudy to Warburton. It is going to be a head

:47:23.:47:29.

injury assessment. Maximum of ten minutes to assess the injury to

:47:30.:47:35.

Justin Tipuric. He might come back on, but he has to go off now and

:47:36.:47:42.

have that assessed. I think he will be all right. Just needs to get it

:47:43.:47:48.

checked. Ross Murray coming off the bench. He is motivated, in form at

:47:49.:47:52.

the moment. The last outing against Italy, he performed really well.

:47:53.:47:57.

Some big line breaks and he was really involved in the game. There

:47:58.:48:01.

is Moriarty. He plays for Gloucester. Just to break, of. --

:48:02.:48:13.

Justin Tipuric is off. He is a different sort of player. Tipuric is

:48:14.:48:20.

a classic player, but Ross Moriarty is a hard working, non-nonsense

:48:21.:48:21.

player. is a hard working, non-nonsense

:48:22.:48:29.

On the back of a solid front five, he could carry the ball very well.

:48:30.:48:38.

The Wales scrum at he could carry the ball very well.

:48:39.:48:47.

crumbles. Dan Biggar sends it to be and the Italian player.

:48:48.:48:52.

Italy are in bother again. Wales have a five metre scrum. It is a

:48:53.:49:06.

very good kick. But David Odiete either has to let it go in touch or

:49:07.:49:13.

just roll it in. They are under huge pressure, the scrum is under

:49:14.:49:20.

pressure. It is. That last scrum on the right hand side of Samson Lee,

:49:21.:49:26.

it went straight in across temporary -- David Odiete. Five metres from

:49:27.:49:32.

their scrum, Welsh ball in. I think this ball isn't going to move past

:49:33.:49:39.

their feet. If Wales get the shaft on here and the scrum goes down, as

:49:40.:49:45.

the last one did, the referee will be more inclined to give the penalty

:49:46.:49:56.

to Wales. Down it goes on that side. The first penalty, taken quickly by

:49:57.:50:03.

Rhys Webb. Advantage to Wales. Your opinion on that scrum? And a huge

:50:04.:50:10.

amount of pressure. He can't long blind because it exposes his chest.

:50:11.:50:16.

Samson Lee is on the right. I think it is very difficult, when

:50:17.:50:33.

somebody runs into you. Rhys Webb is lethal on the quick tap. Go for that

:50:34.:50:40.

ball, go for that line. And then, for that early tackle on Rhys Webb,

:50:41.:50:45.

who was trying to make his way to the line, an Italian player is off.

:50:46.:50:51.

Italy down to 14 men without their scrum-half. They are a man short.

:50:52.:51:06.

Here is Rhys Webb, and Biggar. I think Allen has taken a bump. They

:51:07.:51:12.

are back on their feet. Wales have to come from a bit deeper now. Great

:51:13.:51:22.

line speed by Italy so far. A man down. A quick yellow card. Carried

:51:23.:51:26.

in by the forwards again. Played back by Moriarty. Let it goes,

:51:27.:51:34.

Williams is there. Great covering defence. But the advantage was being

:51:35.:51:43.

played back. Dan Biggar calling for the ball quickly. The try is on.

:51:44.:51:56.

Nobody is out wide. Leonardo Sarto is supremely committed on defence

:51:57.:52:00.

today. Villa it is a great defence. This has to be a scrum, doesn't it?

:52:01.:52:07.

It is a great defence. I can't believe they are going for three

:52:08.:52:13.

points. When they last... When they have a man advantage, their scrum is

:52:14.:52:18.

absolutely dominating, that is a bizarre decision. Speechless. I

:52:19.:52:24.

This could be interesting. Listen to would say, look, hang on a minute...

:52:25.:52:33.

This could be interesting. Listen to this.

:52:34.:52:46.

REFEREE: We work together to set a good game, right? Keep your role and

:52:47.:52:51.

let me do my role. That is enough. If I am fed up by the guys who are

:52:52.:52:56.

talking to me, I am the only one to say that, OK? OK? Thank you.

:52:57.:53:05.

He isn't happy with that. What was the point of that? Sergio is saying,

:53:06.:53:14.

what was the point of that now then? Just wasted a minute of my life. An

:53:15.:53:27.

extra man. The scrum-half is off. As a back, I would be saying, I want a

:53:28.:53:34.

scrum here. You are so vulnerable around the ruck, because you are one

:53:35.:53:38.

man short in the defensive line. If somebody is coming up, the second

:53:39.:53:45.

line is short as well. Italy will be delighted to have yielded only three

:53:46.:53:46.

points. Rhys Webb sends it high himself.

:53:47.:54:06.

George North takes it beautifully. Wales making good ground again.

:54:07.:54:14.

Straight through on the scrum-half. Bradley Davies and Baldwin.

:54:15.:54:27.

Davies had to get rid of it quickly. Into touch it goes, Hind Amos. Italy

:54:28.:54:36.

right up with this game, as far as the confrontation battle goes.

:54:37.:54:48.

Francesco Minto there. Straight, really hot at the base of the scrum.

:54:49.:54:56.

George North, supreme in the air. The aerial skills of the Welsh backs

:54:57.:55:00.

are to be admired. There is nothing which lands on the deck which isn't

:55:01.:55:05.

covered by them. A chance now for Wales to come again. Moriarty, on

:55:06.:55:12.

the field for Justin Tipuric. He is still being assessed but I am not

:55:13.:55:17.

sure he will come back on. North, a little clap of the hands in

:55:18.:55:23.

frustration. Good defence from Italy, using the touchline to

:55:24.:55:31.

shuffle them across. Liam Williams, outpaced, and David Odiete comes in

:55:32.:55:35.

and puts him to ground nicely. Look at this, this is the play. Look how

:55:36.:55:41.

deep they are. They are so deep, you've got to come and angle inside

:55:42.:55:47.

shoulder. It goes wrong for Italy at the line-out.

:55:48.:55:55.

We understand that Justin Tipuric isn't going to come back on after

:55:56.:56:01.

his injury assessment, so Moriarty is on permanently. An early,

:56:02.:56:07.

enforced replacement, with Ross Moriarty on for Justin Tipuric in

:56:08.:56:08.

the back row. There is the captain, Dan Lydiate.

:56:09.:56:31.

And on to Evans, who has been a good loosehead prop for Wales. Moriarty,

:56:32.:56:41.

Martin Castrogiovanni and Francesco Minto both took him. Wales

:56:42.:56:49.

off-loading nicely. A little forward pass. So back they come. Dan Biggar

:56:50.:56:57.

had to get rid of that hot potato because he was being lined up with

:56:58.:57:01.

his arms stretched high above his head.

:57:02.:57:07.

The past you don't want to receive. Italy, defensively, as soon as Dan

:57:08.:57:18.

Biggar stretched his arms up there... Wales looking to move that

:57:19.:57:21.

ball into space and looking for the off-load. It wasn't far, because

:57:22.:57:24.

they were coming from in front. off-load. It wasn't far, because

:57:25.:57:29.

pass wasn't forward, but what is fair is fair. They are down to three

:57:30.:57:37.

minutes 46 on the scene binning of Guglielmo Palazzani. Italy are doing

:57:38.:57:38.

OK in this stretch. So in Italy scrum. There is

:57:39.:58:00.

Guglielmo Palazzani. His top draped casually over his shoulders, the

:58:01.:58:09.

continental way. David Odiete feeling poorly at scrum time.

:58:10.:58:16.

Communication is critical. That one early try for Wales.

:58:17.:58:27.

Penalty to Italy. Decision from the scrum this time. The man penalised,

:58:28.:58:33.

Robert Evans. So, Italy chew a little more off the

:58:34.:58:48.

clock sin-binning. They will be quite happy. They are a man short.

:58:49.:58:55.

They have had most of the play in their own half. They scored an early

:58:56.:59:00.

try. 25 minutes gone, they've only conceded one try. Wales will be

:59:01.:59:05.

disappointed with their attacking because, you know, they are not

:59:06.:59:09.

engaging defenders again. They are running into shoulders. Three

:59:10.:59:15.

line-outs that Italy have gone wrong, though, and they can't afford

:59:16.:59:19.

that. And a penalty to Wales now, so the set piece is costing them. It is

:59:20.:59:28.

the one thing to stop momentum, secure your line-out ball. Three

:59:29.:59:31.

line-outs lost in situations where they

:59:32.:59:37.

line-outs lost in situations where if Italy are going to hang on in

:59:38.:59:42.

this game, they have to get the set piece right. They have to keep the

:59:43.:59:46.

ball when they have it, go through the phases. If they have to kick,

:59:47.:59:50.

turn Wales and put them back in V-22. So frustrating to be back on

:59:51.:59:56.

the edge of your own 22 again. Wales again try and build an attack,

:59:57.:00:11.

still with a man advantage. Straight through, unnoticed. You've got to go

:00:12.:00:13.

Rhys Webb has support command left.

:00:14.:00:23.

Rhys Webb has support command and now Charteris. Wales getting

:00:24.:00:28.

close to the second try. Moved left and Roberts crashes in, drags in the

:00:29.:00:32.

defenders. They are calling, crying for it out wide, left. And still

:00:33.:00:37.

they go right, Wales and Charteris is there and Italy defender.

:00:38.:00:43.

they go right, Wales and Charteris one out wide, left. And now

:00:44.:00:45.

they go right, Wales and Charteris left but the Italian defence is

:00:46.:00:46.

getting ever there. left but the Italian defence is

:00:47.:00:51.

that is a waste for Wales. That left but the Italian defence is

:00:52.:00:59.

a massive let off for Italy, completely outnumbered out wide. The

:01:00.:01:01.

Italian defence in ones and twos. completely outnumbered out wide. The

:01:02.:01:06.

controlling the back line, which way completely outnumbered out wide. The

:01:07.:01:09.

they are going to go. If they go left, the ball is too slow and they

:01:10.:01:14.

have overthrown it. They had two opportunities, there, where they had

:01:15.:01:17.

to go left and they went right, as if they are set in a pattern. Look

:01:18.:01:20.

up and look where there is no players and go outside, it is a

:01:21.:01:26.

simple thing to do. Tomato Alan clears for Italy and George North

:01:27.:01:28.

was right on his shoulder, just as the long past when out. Italy have

:01:29.:01:34.

managed the Welsh pressure well with Palazzani off. That is the clock

:01:35.:01:38.

counted down for him to come back on now. Italy back to 15. Bears the

:01:39.:01:46.

unnecessary chat when a Simbine player comes back on, perhaps a

:01:47.:01:50.

higher sin-bin. It was certainly a penalty but it came quite quickly.

:01:51.:01:53.

Italy have only conceded three points in that time. Wales are still

:01:54.:01:57.

with the attack. Through the middle and now want to Roberts, and Dan

:01:58.:02:01.

Biggar is in and Wales have their second try now! Dan Biggar, very,

:02:02.:02:09.

very simple, when it came. And the Italian defence was cut apart by two

:02:10.:02:17.

men, Roberts and Dan Biggar. Just watch, they go wide, Sergio Parisse

:02:18.:02:22.

has got to make the tackle on Dan Biggar. He does not get there. It is

:02:23.:02:29.

an easy give and take. Just watch. It is not Sergio, sorry, I think it

:02:30.:02:34.

is the hooker, Giazzon has got to make the tackle. I don't understand

:02:35.:02:39.

why he was defending, there is, well, the scrum-half is off, isn't

:02:40.:02:43.

he? He's got to go there and he does not get to him, the hooker is in the

:02:44.:02:46.

scrum-half position and he is too slow. Ideally, coming off the back

:02:47.:02:51.

of the line-out, they call it the vacuum, you need your fastest men

:02:52.:02:54.

camming off the tail of the line-out to make the tackle in the channel.

:02:55.:02:58.

-- coming off the tail. He's excited! Italy go back to 15 men and

:02:59.:03:07.

concede a try. Dan Biggar, who scored that charge down try against

:03:08.:03:10.

England, has won now against Italy and Wales are leading 20-0. -- has

:03:11.:03:21.

one now. Wales try to set up camp in the Italian half, Fala tower again,

:03:22.:03:24.

carbon copy of the last restart and it goes back to Dan Biggar and

:03:25.:03:33.

Odiete fields. Allan. Chasing it down himself, but Williams able to

:03:34.:03:38.

take it and then get involved in that tussle with tomato Alan. --

:03:39.:03:49.

Tomaso Alan. Evans. Loose to Sarto. The winger is heading to Glasgow in

:03:50.:03:56.

the summer. Carried in by Francesco Minto. Zanni. Nearing 100 caps, now,

:03:57.:04:06.

the flanker. Palazzani, giving it to Garcia. He just manages to keep it

:04:07.:04:17.

alive as he was heaved into touch, Castrogiovanni dips his shoulder and

:04:18.:04:19.

has a good challenge with Samson Lee. Geldenhuys.

:04:20.:04:29.

Italy going through a good few faces for the first time and then Garcia

:04:30.:04:34.

sent through the grubber kick and Williams. Taken down well by

:04:35.:04:41.

Bellini, who has not had too much to do in a match so far. Skipping

:04:42.:04:46.

nicely away from Williams but then into Samson Lee.

:04:47.:04:55.

Carried in by Bernabo. And Palazzani. Just a fraction too long

:04:56.:05:11.

and Amos... Scribed by Giazzon. -- scribing tackle. Now a chance for

:05:12.:05:14.

Wales as Jonathan Davies has Roberts outside of him, to George North now,

:05:15.:05:19.

tearing down the wing and inside it goes to Dan Biggar, to Jonathan

:05:20.:05:23.

Davies and he is free! Sergio Parisse trying to get to him but

:05:24.:05:29.

Jonathan Davies will score! Davies get the touchdown. So many pairs of

:05:30.:05:33.

hands, it went from one end of the field to the other and Wales with

:05:34.:05:36.

their third try and a glorious thing it was. And again, this comes from,

:05:37.:05:47.

you know, they lose possession and give it away, acceleration down the

:05:48.:05:50.

side, inside the port and it is just good give and take with good support

:05:51.:05:57.

play. -- inside support. Italy run out of defenders. Way too much width

:05:58.:06:01.

to handle. As soon as he got to the ball, there were still four or five

:06:02.:06:04.

Italian players in the Welsh half, excellent counterattack, working

:06:05.:06:09.

with width, precision and lots of inside run as an option is to score

:06:10.:06:13.

the try. Dan Biggar with another simple kick through the posts and

:06:14.:06:17.

Wales are 27-0 in front and suddenly they are racing away. 25 minutes

:06:18.:06:24.

gone, they were happy with one try conceded and now they have conceded

:06:25.:06:25.

another two. As we watch the replay, you can see

:06:26.:06:36.

on the far side, the winger, Bellini is going off for Italy as well. I

:06:37.:06:43.

would imagine Luke McLean will be coming on. Yes, there he is on the

:06:44.:06:49.

far side. There is Bellini, being carted off and Luke McLean will come

:06:50.:06:54.

on for his 79th cap. He has become a bit of a utility back. He is

:06:55.:06:58.

normally a full-back but he can fill in in most places. He comes on now

:06:59.:07:04.

with 33 minutes gone and 27-0 down. Fowler tower again, the same restart

:07:05.:07:07.

and just a few first tackles being missed Italy now. -- valet out --

:07:08.:07:16.

Toby Faletau again. Rhys Webb scooping it high. Not foreign.

:07:17.:07:19.

Sergio Parisse comes forward to take it. -- far enough. Allan. Maclean.

:07:20.:07:32.

Giving it to Bernabo. Castrogiovanni. Not quite the force

:07:33.:07:36.

he was, five years ago. And Tomaso Alan. Gonzalo Garcia,

:07:37.:07:55.

now. -- Tomaso Alan. Bernabo, once more.

:07:56.:08:00.

Again, moving through the phases. But do they have the cutting

:08:01.:08:03.

Again, moving through the phases. the end, they live or short pass

:08:04.:08:10.

from Allan to Pratichetti. -- a little short pass. Francesco Minto.

:08:11.:08:15.

Italy, trying to get it back as Davies goes over. And a penalty,

:08:16.:08:22.

quickly taken by Palazzani, now with Sarto outside him and a great hit

:08:23.:08:28.

coming in as Liam Williams... And a counter ruck, he has turned it over,

:08:29.:08:33.

I think, great tackle and a counter rock. The ball is therefore Wales.

:08:34.:08:36.

-- counter ruck. WHISTLE

:08:37.:08:45.

So, it ends with a scrum for Wales, into the final five minutes in this

:08:46.:08:50.

first half. And Italy with some good fluency in attack, there but great

:08:51.:08:56.

difference from Wales in the end. Yeah, they just have to keep it...

:08:57.:09:01.

difference from Wales in the end. No mistakes. They are under pressure

:09:02.:09:03.

in every area of the game so when they have got the ball, I know it is

:09:04.:09:08.

very difficult, they have to catch and drive and catch and drive but

:09:09.:09:15.

that is where their best chance is, really, to limit the score. Another

:09:16.:09:21.

man off, Pratichetti is heading off, so it is all going horribly wrong

:09:22.:09:24.

for Italy at the moment. This is how Bellini injured himself. Turning his

:09:25.:09:30.

ankle before he took the hit from Samson Lee. I think he did that

:09:31.:09:37.

himself, didn't he? And then Andrea Pratichetti, the latest to go off,

:09:38.:09:42.

making his first start in four years. Already running out of

:09:43.:09:47.

options. Kelly Haimona will come on. He looks interested, doesn't he,

:09:48.:09:52.

coming on? Really interested, there he is, walking on to inside centre!

:09:53.:09:57.

More often he is a fly half but he will settle into the centre.

:09:58.:10:05.

They have lost a bit of pace, there, Pratichetti a bit quicker than Kelly

:10:06.:10:10.

Haimona but he is a big man. So, Wales ball, inside their own 22.

:10:11.:10:23.

The ball is just sitting there. WHISTLE

:10:24.:10:24.

Italy get the penalty. That was the decision from Sergio

:10:25.:10:41.

Parisse into touch it will go. Well done, Italy. They know they are not

:10:42.:10:44.

going to win this game by kicking penalties, so why not? So, the

:10:45.:10:52.

Italian forwards go into a huddle to discuss this, nearing the end of the

:10:53.:10:58.

first half. It has pretty much gone according to predictions. Yes, they

:10:59.:11:02.

have been patient, taken opportunities. I felt, you know,

:11:03.:11:05.

there's a few other opportunities gone missing for Wales. The Italian

:11:06.:11:11.

line-out, this time, it is the short, safe option, Zanni takes it,

:11:12.:11:14.

a little peel around of Sergio Parisse. A front peel but he is held

:11:15.:11:22.

up and he will be disappointed with that. Wales have the scrum. The

:11:23.:11:29.

thing about Italian side as well, in past seasons, when often they have

:11:30.:11:34.

lost but in those games, more often than not, they have gone at least 60

:11:35.:11:38.

minutes being in touch and being very competitive but this is quite

:11:39.:11:40.

worrying for Italy. I think there's very competitive but this is quite

:11:41.:11:46.

a lot of injuries, 1719 players, it is now. As Keith said at the

:11:47.:11:52.

a lot of injuries, 1719 players, it based the game on the forward

:11:53.:11:56.

a lot of injuries, 1719 players, it they have had to develop more of a

:11:57.:11:57.

15 man game and it has not they have had to develop more of a

:11:58.:12:02.

They don't have the quality of player at nine and ten and maybe the

:12:03.:12:06.

back three to do that. They have to try come in games like this and last

:12:07.:12:09.

week, that is all they have to do is get their basic set piece right and

:12:10.:12:11.

the tackling right to be still in get their basic set piece right and

:12:12.:12:15.

the game. Unfortunately, tired bodies, you know, they are falling

:12:16.:12:21.

Poite have to say to the captains. Something about this is getting a

:12:22.:12:25.

bit tedious, still it steady. REFEREE: We have played two scrums

:12:26.:12:30.

with ball out only, it is not enough. The players must be more

:12:31.:12:33.

disciplined than the time enough. The players must be more

:12:34.:12:36.

spent in the first half. We need to improve,

:12:37.:12:42.

spent in the first half. We need to simple, I don't know why he is

:12:43.:12:44.

talking to the captains, he just has to tell the front rows, any messing

:12:45.:12:48.

about, lads, yellow card, thank you very much, get on with it. Easy job!

:12:49.:12:54.

Let's look at some of the injuries Italy have. Ghiraldini, Edoardo

:12:55.:13:02.

Gori, Campagnaro, Josh Furno, Fuser, Biaggi, Cittadini, it goes on and

:13:03.:13:06.

on. It is a bit like Wales in the World Cup but Italy don't have the

:13:07.:13:14.

depth to cope with it. Webb feeds and a decent shot from Italy. Valet

out. -- Faletau. Great play by Faletau again, the pace, to get from

:13:23.:13:26.

where the scrum was to where he ended up. It makes the kick so much

:13:27.:13:30.

easier for Dan Biggar. A good kick as well but quickly taken. Luke

:13:31.:13:36.

McLean. Garcia. Trying to edge his way past Jonathan Davies.

:13:37.:13:41.

McLean. Garcia. Trying to edge his Mak row onto Leonardo Sarto. --

:13:42.:13:50.

Allan onto Leonardo Sarto. Advantage Italy as well. Palazzani with this

:13:51.:13:57.

free attack for Italy. And Luke McLean and it is built they will

:13:58.:14:01.

come back for the penalty. They will go to the corner. It is pointless,

:14:02.:14:09.

kicking for goal, 27-0 down, go for the corner. Tommaso Allan will do

:14:10.:14:21.

just that. His uncle John, I think was a player for South Africa and

:14:22.:14:24.

Scotland in the days when you could do both. Slow down the ball. There

:14:25.:14:33.

is geared is on -- Giazzon, as the clock goes round for the final

:14:34.:14:35.

passage of play in this first half. Just a bit of a harsh around the

:14:36.:14:55.

stadium now, and that will do for the end of the first half and Wales

:14:56.:14:58.

have controlled it and they are surely heading for victory. They

:14:59.:15:01.

have built a good lead. They have been patient and scored some great

:15:02.:15:06.

tries. They've missed a couple of opportunities as well but it is a

:15:07.:15:09.

no-win situation for Wales today. I would expect them to put 50 on them

:15:10.:15:12.

so they just Avdukic the scoreboard ticking over and try to develop the

:15:13.:15:18.

attacking game. I think that is the key, developed the attacking game,

:15:19.:15:21.

looking forward to New Zealand in the summer. They lead by three tries

:15:22.:15:23.

to nil and 27-0. JASON MOHAMMAD: SENTENCE MACRO WALES

:15:24.:15:36.

HAVE WON NINE MATCHES IN A ROW AGAINST ITALY SINCE 2007. IN

:15:37.:15:43.

-- Wales have won nine matches in a roasted Italy since 2007. When you

:15:44.:15:49.

look at the stats, now, trust me, it is not going to end 27-27. Carlo, at

:15:50.:15:54.

one stage, I wondered where the want to come back and talk about this

:15:55.:15:57.

because Italy are all over the place. I know, it's not good,

:15:58.:16:02.

half-time, 27-0, I was hoping that would be the final score something

:16:03.:16:08.

but Wales are an containable. Every time there was a moment of trying to

:16:09.:16:11.

stop the Welsh momentum and regain possession, they lost the line-out

:16:12.:16:13.

and Wales counter-attacked, missed a few tackles as well and then you are

:16:14.:16:17.

back under pressure. One thing to sour which prided their commitment

:16:18.:16:21.

to the tackle and their commitment to the defence. Your pre-match

:16:22.:16:25.

prediction, Keith, of 70 point is not off the mark. Not too far off,

:16:26.:16:29.

Wales could have scored another couple of tries, to be honest. They

:16:30.:16:33.

were throwing the ball around like the Harlem globetrotter is one

:16:34.:16:37.

stage. A bit of control would not go amiss and at times, they were a bit

:16:38.:16:42.

frantic and it was far closer until 15 minutes to go and then suddenly,

:16:43.:16:46.

they just put on the afterburners and Italy could not hold them. Great

:16:47.:16:51.

to see Reece Wabara after the awful injury against Italy and a good

:16:52.:16:55.

start? Yes, we spoke about how poorly they started last week and

:16:56.:16:58.

this week, at home, you expected them to come out with a bang at home

:16:59.:17:00.

and they did. This is the tried and trusted. Jamie

:17:01.:17:09.

Roberts, scrum-half on the front foot, straightaway. It is worth

:17:10.:17:12.

pointing out, like Jonathan 's leading commentary, aged have been

:17:13.:17:16.

an Italian penalty. How do you miss that? Really poor officiating.

:17:17.:17:19.

England need all -- Italy need all the help they can get. It is sloppy

:17:20.:17:24.

and it should have been a penalty. But then Reece Webb-Foster what he

:17:25.:17:27.

does best. Italy are in a good position, here, well set up and they

:17:28.:17:31.

have the numbers but I think Webb uses the referee very cute to Lee, a

:17:32.:17:36.

slight block in front of Sarto but he should still make the tackle but

:17:37.:17:40.

Webb has a very strong upper body and is very explosive and a great

:17:41.:17:45.

try, and gets Wales after the perfect start. He gives Wales an

:17:46.:17:50.

extra edge in attack, Reece Webb-Foster he does, very sharp at

:17:51.:17:55.

the back, very powerful, actually. Talking about smarts, we were always

:17:56.:17:58.

taught to do that, the referee often gets in the wrong place so let's use

:17:59.:18:04.

it to the best advantage. Go behind his back in many respects. But it

:18:05.:18:08.

was very quick and exactly what Wales needed. They have started

:18:09.:18:11.

poorly in the last couple of games. We did not get back up to the studio

:18:12.:18:15.

in time to see the try. We did our best! They did everything they

:18:16.:18:20.

wanted to do and they put down a marker. I found it baffling this

:18:21.:18:24.

week with lots of Wales fans suggesting Rhys Priestland should

:18:25.:18:27.

start. It was not long ago that Neil Jenkins said that Dan Biggar was a

:18:28.:18:31.

world-class fly half and you are getting people saying, maybe Rhys

:18:32.:18:35.

Priestland should start? It is a fickle world, isn't it? Dan Biggar

:18:36.:18:38.

has been immense for the last 18 months and Rhys Priestland played

:18:39.:18:41.

well in the last 20 minutes last week but Dan Biggar has been key to

:18:42.:18:44.

everything that is good about this Welsh team over the last 18 months.

:18:45.:18:48.

This has become his trademark from outside-half, this is unheard of,

:18:49.:18:52.

perfectly weighted kick, very brave, and the ability to off-load as well.

:18:53.:18:57.

This is the second try. For some reason, Keith is not happy with this

:18:58.:19:00.

but the hooker should never be there, trust me, as an openside,

:19:01.:19:05.

it's difficult enough as it is. Great flat ball by Rhys Webb, Dan

:19:06.:19:09.

Biggar is on at pace and a great run by Roberts as well. It's ridiculous,

:19:10.:19:13.

people questioning whether Dan Biggar should start. You have to be

:19:14.:19:19.

very fast! He said he could have got there! I would have made that! I'm

:19:20.:19:23.

laughing but we are talking about Dan Biggar and Rhys Priestland and

:19:24.:19:27.

I'm looking at it like who would I rather play against? I would rather

:19:28.:19:30.

play Priestland. I think Dan Biggar is a class act. He's been the form

:19:31.:19:35.

fly half in the Pro12 and for a lot of the Six Nations. He's mature wood

:19:36.:19:41.

into a fine player. For me, that try is something a ten would pick on in

:19:42.:19:44.

his analysis leading up to the game, if you know they have a hooker at

:19:45.:19:48.

half-backs and that space between the end of the line-out and the

:19:49.:19:51.

first ten channel is so critical and when you have two massive wingers

:19:52.:19:54.

who can attack that space as well, someone who gets the ball quick off

:19:55.:19:58.

the top, no pressure whatsoever, inside shoulder and you are beating

:19:59.:20:01.

a forward, definitely a mismatch. You picked out a key moment in the

:20:02.:20:11.

Jonathan Davies try because the crowd loved it, it looks like

:20:12.:20:14.

exhibition rugby to them. Wales can only play what is in front of them

:20:15.:20:16.

but they spilled the ball and look at how slow the Italian kick chases.

:20:17.:20:19.

They have left Tommaso Allan 45 seconds on own. It is well finished

:20:20.:20:22.

off but a poor defence at the end of it with two men going forward. Wales

:20:23.:20:25.

get criticised for their attacking play but this was brilliant

:20:26.:20:29.

counterattacking. Look at Italy, though, poor old Sergio Parisse

:20:30.:20:31.

attracting back again, though, poor old Sergio Parisse

:20:32.:20:35.

make the tackle. You can see by his body language, everything, here he

:20:36.:20:40.

is again, it is so hapless. You might be able to expand why they are

:20:41.:20:45.

disjointed, Carlo, no chase, it seems. Great inside balls and what I

:20:46.:20:49.

like from Wales he is something they have not done, passing the full

:20:50.:20:52.

contact, so often we see the Welsh players go into contact and then try

:20:53.:20:55.

to pass but they have shown what they can do in open spaces. It was a

:20:56.:20:59.

possession stats earlier, if you have that much time in possession,

:21:00.:21:04.

the opposition is fatigue and stressed under defence. Any ball in

:21:05.:21:08.

the counterattack, any loose runners, defences are loose as well,

:21:09.:21:12.

and these are some of the world's most lethal strike runners. In that

:21:13.:21:16.

space, they will exploit it every time. We so often talk about Sergio

:21:17.:21:20.

Parisse like a statesman of Italian rugby and yet he cuts an isolated

:21:21.:21:25.

figure out there. Yes, he looks dejected. He was disconsolate last

:21:26.:21:29.

week. He was down on the ground. He was quite edgy in the post match

:21:30.:21:34.

interview. He was at the referee for the whole 80 minutes last week. He

:21:35.:21:39.

started the exact same today, having a go at Romain Poite, and the

:21:40.:21:43.

referee is just saying, "Go away, I don't need you to tell me how to

:21:44.:21:51.

referee the game". The shape of him is dejected. He looks as if, "God, I

:21:52.:21:55.

would rather be on a winning team". If ever there was a player who

:21:56.:21:59.

deserved to be on a winning team, it's him. He's great to the field

:22:00.:22:02.

for the last ten years, been magnificent but it has been

:22:03.:22:05.

heartbreaking for him for the last few weeks. We picked out Palazzani

:22:06.:22:09.

before we came on air as well and we are looking at the yellow card.

:22:10.:22:15.

Let's take a closer look. Was unlucky? That quick ball, you know

:22:16.:22:18.

that he is lethal on the quick ball. He's got to tackle him otherwise it

:22:19.:22:21.

is a short right. Leaving it to the referee to make the decision

:22:22.:22:24.

eventually, he is taking a gamble, the whole time he is looking at the

:22:25.:22:28.

ref, is he going to get called? Romain Poite had no hesitation.

:22:29.:22:33.

Probably being a bit too sympathetic, Romain Poite could have

:22:34.:22:35.

given him the benefit of the doubt but by the law, it is the yellow

:22:36.:22:39.

card. It is whether Rhys Webb was right behind the scrum when he took

:22:40.:22:44.

it. I'm not sure. But that is the pressure Wales are putting them

:22:45.:22:47.

under from the outset. It has led to that outcome. They did well when

:22:48.:22:50.

they were down to 14, held Wales up but as soon as they were back to 15,

:22:51.:23:01.

they conceded the Dan Biggar try. It is a long Segunda. It's amazing how

:23:02.:23:03.

the psychology can go, 14 people, you are in the trench together and

:23:04.:23:06.

everyone has to work but the 15 comes back on and you realise you

:23:07.:23:09.

have weathered the storm and that is when you drop your concentration and

:23:10.:23:10.

suddenly, when you drop your concentration and

:23:11.:23:13.

Warren Gatland using the bench? I think so and looking at the players

:23:14.:23:17.

they have got to bring on, Ken Owens was fantastic off the bench and

:23:18.:23:19.

Priestland as well, was fantastic off the bench and

:23:20.:23:24.

and Moriarty is already on. I think, 50, 55 minutes, used the changes.

:23:25.:23:29.

The last 20 minutes in the last few games, Wales have scored four tries.

:23:30.:23:33.

It's the acceleration at the end that puts teams away. They came back

:23:34.:23:37.

against England with it and I think Italy are in serious trouble if they

:23:38.:23:40.

don't get their hands on the ball. And when you talk about the Wales

:23:41.:23:43.

bench and then you talk about the Italy bench, a very callow faced

:23:44.:23:46.

bench with very few caps. Italy bench, a very callow faced

:23:47.:23:51.

cannot win the Six Nations championship, of course, but one

:23:52.:23:54.

thing they did win last night was the Grand Slam, yesterday, in the

:23:55.:24:00.

under 20s. Carlo was there in Colwyn Bay Lasse Vibe, Joe Thomas going

:24:01.:24:03.

over in a 35-6 win, the first time they have ever won the Grand Slam, a

:24:04.:24:10.

great win but a slow start. That pass from the Welsh full-back, he

:24:11.:24:14.

did everything textbook, running on inside shoulders, giving the past,

:24:15.:24:18.

ten metres out to his right side. The Welsh squad are humble guys and

:24:19.:24:20.

I was really addressed with the whole setup and the team. Italy did

:24:21.:24:25.

fantastic, well in the first half, they contained and manage their well

:24:26.:24:28.

but they came out, the coach had a few words with them in the changing

:24:29.:24:31.

room and they dominated the scrum upfront and then had the run of the

:24:32.:24:35.

place in the second half. This was just before the match started at the

:24:36.:24:40.

Millennium Stadium, Principality Stadium, rather, they got a

:24:41.:24:42.

fantastic welcome and grated easement. Great credit to the way

:24:43.:24:46.

they've played the game, they've used a lot of players because they

:24:47.:24:50.

have had to go back to regions all the time. The future is bright.

:24:51.:24:54.

Incredible that they were all wearing jeans and track suit tops,

:24:55.:24:57.

there. You thought they should be in suits. They have done so well. Let

:24:58.:25:05.

them celebrate. And their anthem is meal diamond's Sweet Caroline. Great

:25:06.:25:11.

performance. By Neil Diamond? The blue yes. Thank you. This evening,

:25:12.:25:17.

attention switches to the Stade de France in Paris where England and

:25:18.:25:20.

Eddie Jones have done a remarkable job, magnificent achievement in

:25:21.:25:23.

becoming the champions. Tonight, they have a chance to become Grand

:25:24.:25:24.

Slam champions. Wales are storming to the title! It

:25:25.:25:37.

is turning into a rout! Heavy defeat to Wales in 2013 when the Grand Slam

:25:38.:25:41.

was at stake is the most recent example of England falling at the

:25:42.:25:46.

final hurdle. What was the painful lesson? Generally, there was an

:25:47.:25:50.

underestimation of the task at hand. The fact you going with a chance to

:25:51.:25:55.

win a Grand Slam, you think everything is going well. But to win

:25:56.:25:59.

the last game, you have to improve again. The message has been this

:26:00.:26:02.

week, we have to keep improving because if we don't, we are going to

:26:03.:26:05.

repeat history, not create new history. You have to remember, this

:26:06.:26:11.

is a New England side now. A new way of thinking about the game. A new

:26:12.:26:16.

tactical flexibility. We are probably the fittest side since

:26:17.:26:20.

2003. What has really impressed me as the positivity of the group. You

:26:21.:26:24.

have young men who all want to get better and they are all desperate to

:26:25.:26:27.

do well for England. That is a great thing. Our opportunities are really

:26:28.:26:33.

well for the game and to make sure the first 20 minutes, we put

:26:34.:26:36.

ourselves in a winning position. If we do that, we have a great chance

:26:37.:26:43.

to win a Grand Slam. Eddie Jones described it as a magnificent

:26:44.:26:45.

achievement and let's find out what Jonathan Davies in the commentary

:26:46.:26:48.

box thinks of Eddie Jones' comments this week. Was it a magnificent

:26:49.:26:52.

achievement, Jonathan Kodjia Mark I think they are going for it. They

:26:53.:26:56.

deserve to be going to the Grand Slam. I think they have matured.

:26:57.:27:01.

They have improved from the World Cup. Defensively, they are solid. I

:27:02.:27:07.

like the way they play their attack. I think Ben Youngs was special last

:27:08.:27:15.

week. And the way they varied the slow ball, they truck it up and they

:27:16.:27:18.

try to feed quick ball in and they do create it and then George Ford

:27:19.:27:23.

steps in. They have not really shone in the previous games but last week,

:27:24.:27:26.

the first 20 minutes was impressive. It will be a shock if they lose to

:27:27.:27:33.

France tonight, I think. They are quite clearly favourites. Again,

:27:34.:27:39.

that is all we say, what France turns up and I have not seen France,

:27:40.:27:43.

if they did turn up, I don't think they are capable of beating England

:27:44.:27:47.

tonight. Absolutely, banks, Jonathan. When you look at the squad

:27:48.:27:51.

that Eddie Jones has assembled in a very short space of time from the

:27:52.:27:54.

wreckage of the Rugby World Cup, do you see it as a squad, Keith, that

:27:55.:27:58.

can dominate the Six Nations, possibly autumn internationals, the

:27:59.:28:03.

tour down under to New Zealand and South Africa? I think it's too early

:28:04.:28:07.

to save the stuff they have been very pragmatic and on the simple

:28:08.:28:11.

things very well. They have sparked and they have real gas. But they are

:28:12.:28:14.

not making the mistakes they were making last year. It is amazing, the

:28:15.:28:18.

error rate has gone down quite heavily. That is great potential. I

:28:19.:28:26.

have to qualify this next statement, coming from a bitter Welshman, not

:28:27.:28:29.

in any way, shape or form but was it a good jumping ship for England to

:28:30.:28:33.

win because Ireland have been poor, Wales have been a bit disjointed,

:28:34.:28:36.

Italy have been woeful and as Jonathan says, probably one of the

:28:37.:28:40.

worst French sides we have seen in our generation. If Wales were

:28:41.:28:44.

winning, you don't care. It's all you can do, like today, beat what is

:28:45.:28:52.

in front of you. England have been by far the best team in the

:28:53.:28:55.

tournament, no doubt about that and if they go on to win the Grand Slam,

:28:56.:28:58.

they will deserve it, no doubt about that. Absolutely right, Jonathan was

:28:59.:29:01.

trying his best to conceal his utter joy of England winning the

:29:02.:29:03.

championship and maybe a Grand Slam! England have played really well and

:29:04.:29:06.

they have done the job and done it efficiently. They have been better

:29:07.:29:10.

than everyone else. That is the point, isn't it? You have to beat

:29:11.:29:14.

what is in front of you and if you win a jab Egypt, it does not matter

:29:15.:29:17.

what the others do. And they've done it with a balanced team, gone back

:29:18.:29:20.

to what England do well. If we analyse them leading up to their

:29:21.:29:24.

matches, they have a power game and they mash you upright and then clear

:29:25.:29:27.

out the spaces out wide and they have strike runners to do that. --

:29:28.:29:32.

upfront. They did not have it last year but they are moving it back --

:29:33.:29:36.

moving back to it and it is making them dangerous. Coverage starts at

:29:37.:29:41.

seven 20p on BBC One. It will be a tough second half for Italy and they

:29:42.:29:45.

are tired. They are tired already and Wales just have to keep their

:29:46.:29:49.

concentration and skill level and intensity up and I think he's

:29:50.:29:52.

prediction won't be far off. A cricket score. Thank you for joining

:29:53.:29:53.

us. Back to the commentators. If you have confidence in your own

:29:54.:30:31.

ability, if there's a relegation game or a play-off game, you have to

:30:32.:30:45.

go with it. It's worth pointing out that in the last 15 years, Scotland,

:30:46.:30:49.

Wales, France would all have been facing a relegation match. It takes

:30:50.:30:56.

a long time to settle in. Someone told me that France took decades to

:30:57.:31:06.

come and compete in the Six Nations, the Five Nations then. It's a

:31:07.:31:14.

changing world. Carried in by Andrea Lovotti. At half-time Italy had that

:31:15.:31:23.

huge list of injuries that would cripple many sites.

:31:24.:31:30.

I understand why they kicked the ball away.

:31:31.:31:37.

Jonathan Davies up to the ten metre line. Straight into the gap goes

:31:38.:31:46.

Moriarty. That is taken down. Good covering. Still with Wales. Baldwin

:31:47.:31:57.

still going. Wales immediately on the front foot again. Deeper it goes

:31:58.:32:00.

now, to Williams. Biggar gets it to Roberts. Roberts

:32:01.:32:15.

almost away. Haimona cleaning onto it for dear life. All the Wales

:32:16.:32:23.

players making their way through one and a half tackles or so.

:32:24.:32:33.

Wales building the platform again. Eight phases and Biggar gives it up

:32:34.:32:42.

to Davies. And Biggar again and onto North. Taken down by Gonzalo Garcia.

:32:43.:32:52.

There is Rob Evans. Still with Wales and Bradley Davies.

:32:53.:32:58.

And through Dan Biggar. Just slows down again and web summons the heavy

:32:59.:33:08.

men to fly half position and it goes to Morrie Arty. And there is the

:33:09.:33:18.

crash, Thunder ball in the middle. Now wide it goes and Biggar had to

:33:19.:33:21.

be taken, taken well by Palazzani. Still Wales, 15 phases, prodding

:33:22.:33:30.

away and Still Wales, 15 phases, prodding

:33:31.:33:45.

they've got to go. Know they are outside for Wales and Biggar is

:33:46.:33:52.

there. Still Wales come, heading towards 20 phases. Web standing

:33:53.:34:02.

strong on the challenge. Incomes Biggar and back it goes for

:34:03.:34:09.

Charteris. And there is Davies again. And a rise of noise inside

:34:10.:34:18.

the stadium. Are these mounting phases to end in a try?

:34:19.:34:28.

Wide it goes now. Williams in there. And there is George North. He sets

:34:29.:34:34.

it away to Jamie Roberts and Roberts it away to Jamie Roberts and Roberts

:34:35.:34:38.

has scored in the corner. Eventually it came. Patient build-up from

:34:39.:34:40.

and Jamie Roberts scores at the start of the second half. Great

:34:41.:34:48.

patience. A lot of slow balls so they just carried

:34:49.:34:55.

patience. A lot of slow balls so up and then eventually, it's a

:34:56.:35:02.

lovely ball from George North, who releases Roberts on the outside

:35:03.:35:04.

it's an easy finish for Jamie Roberts. Width on it. Takes it on,

:35:05.:35:10.

sucks McLean in. You shouldn't have come inside there. Garcia goes in.

:35:11.:35:13.

sucks McLean in. You shouldn't have And he just told. There he is,

:35:14.:35:21.

McLean turns. You've got to have faith in your inside defender but

:35:22.:35:27.

when you're outnumbered, it's a tough, tough call as a defender.

:35:28.:35:32.

George North just got outside his defender. Distracted Luke McLean to

:35:33.:35:39.

make that hit but it's unsustainable. This amount of

:35:40.:35:42.

pressure, this amount of position, that amount of territory, it's just

:35:43.:35:48.

not sustainable. Five from 54 Dan Biggar but number six is a difficult

:35:49.:35:49.

one. So no extra two for Wales but they

:35:50.:36:04.

are beyond 30 points and a bright start of the second half for the

:36:05.:36:09.

home side. I think this lad's done exceptionally well. He's been

:36:10.:36:13.

explosive with the ball. He had great pace to it, carries well.

:36:14.:36:17.

There's the off-load. Just running on the outside of Garcia and there's

:36:18.:36:23.

the ball out the back. Italy making changes as well. Castrogiovanni is

:36:24.:36:28.

off. Might well be his last international for Italy. He is

:36:29.:36:33.

getting to that point now. Certainly you would think his last Six Nations

:36:34.:36:37.

game. A great play of Italy he's been over the years but like a few

:36:38.:36:41.

in the Italian pack, perhaps just beyond his best.

:36:42.:36:53.

Chistolini is on the front row for Italy. And Wales begin to build a

:36:54.:37:01.

game. Backwards it goes and then Tommy

:37:02.:37:15.

Allan is there. Italy now coming and Odiete now still going. Haimona and

:37:16.:37:21.

Garcia were outside but Garcia with a chance perhaps gone. Wonderful

:37:22.:37:29.

weaving run from Odiete. He is looking for Garcia now.

:37:30.:37:43.

Carried on by Jacopo Sarto, the older brother of Leonardo Sarto. A

:37:44.:37:52.

bit of a screen there. That was a clear obstruction, unfortunately.

:37:53.:37:57.

There he is. Will we see him here again, good old Castrogiovanni?

:37:58.:38:05.

Castrogiovanni has been absolutely massive for Italy. Listen to the

:38:06.:38:08.

applause is getting as the see him on the screen. But as people

:38:09.:38:13.

recognising a great rugby man. It has been a privilege to be behind

:38:14.:38:17.

him in my career. He has been one of the best in world rugby. He knows

:38:18.:38:21.

the world so well. His athleticism around the pitch when he was in

:38:22.:38:26.

fourth was something to be admired. APPLAUSE

:38:27.:38:29.

On inside the stadium for Castrogiovanni. He will appreciate

:38:30.:38:35.

the applause but he knows he's in a struggling side and that's not how

:38:36.:38:40.

he wants to see out his international career. So a change

:38:41.:38:46.

being made now for Wales. On comes Gareth Anscombe and he's coming on

:38:47.:38:51.

for Hallam Amos. Unfortunately for Hallam Amos, he hasn't had the ball

:38:52.:38:55.

that he would have liked. The ball has gone mainly to George North, so

:38:56.:39:01.

not as much impact as he would have liked to have had on the game. Yes,

:39:02.:39:04.

that will have been frustrating for him. Just the kind of game that

:39:05.:39:08.

wingers will be licking their lips at. Wales line-out. Charteris lays

:39:09.:39:19.

it back for web and Biggar. Straight through goes north. He's got

:39:20.:39:26.

volatile inside. What a try from George North! He does it again. Four

:39:27.:39:33.

games in a row in the Six Nations. Only Shane Williams has managed that

:39:34.:39:36.

for Wales and now George North has done it.

:39:37.:39:45.

It could have been any of supporting runners he had alongside him but

:39:46.:39:51.

George North all the way his own. But just watch the gap here. You

:39:52.:39:55.

could ride a bus through this. Haimona comes in on a dummy run and

:39:56.:40:02.

then bass player goes out. That's a brilliant finish. A good dummy run

:40:03.:40:08.

by Jamie Roberts. Haimona is dragged in and then it's just the finish,

:40:09.:40:12.

sublime, by this man. That's a man in form. A man in form and running

:40:13.:40:21.

with conviction. That format he's in at the moment is just completely

:40:22.:40:26.

convincing. He's got a lot to do but it comes off his left foot and then

:40:27.:40:32.

he just accelerates but the work was done by a great dummy run by Jamie

:40:33.:40:35.

Roberts. Haimona took the easy option, really. He didn't need to go

:40:36.:40:39.

in metal stop there was too many options. The inside defenders could

:40:40.:40:43.

have coped with that kind of pressure. 25 tries for George North

:40:44.:40:48.

now and this is 60th cap. But it goes from Biggar. Ken Owens

:40:49.:41:11.

is an as hooker for Wales as Garcia comes away with the ball.

:41:12.:41:31.

Carried in by Oliviero Fabiani, replacement hooker for Italy.

:41:32.:41:38.

Haimona, a nice little pass inside and a great run from Sarto and Sarto

:41:39.:41:43.

gets support from his older brother Yacob O Sarto. -- Jacopo Sarto. A

:41:44.:41:50.

great break by Italy and the Sarto brothers in tandem, carried in by

:41:51.:41:57.

Fabiani. Italy threatening, the Wales defence being tested but it

:41:58.:42:05.

hit coming in. So scrum advantage to Italy and Maclean has to skip his

:42:06.:42:11.

way around Fallon et al and Davies. --

:42:12.:42:20.

Italy are coming that with a penalty advantage. So close to a great try.

:42:21.:42:32.

I think they missed the biggest opportunity. They cut through a nice

:42:33.:42:36.

clean break, players in support. Should have finished it. In support

:42:37.:42:43.

is one of Italy's unsung heroes. He gets through a massive amount of

:42:44.:42:49.

work and having expressed all his energy in the tight phases, he's

:42:50.:42:55.

running that support. A lovely inside ball. I do like Sarto. He's a

:42:56.:43:03.

very deceptive runner but creates the opportunity, plenty of support

:43:04.:43:07.

players there. Missed opportunity. It would have been a moment for the

:43:08.:43:13.

Sarto family, Jacob O Sarto on his debut, Leonardo a fixture in the

:43:14.:43:14.

team. Parisse is there. Wales pretty

:43:15.:43:40.

steady in defence. Nudging forwards. Just creeping, the feed began to

:43:41.:43:43.

move in those multicoloured boots and Italy beginning to move towards

:43:44.:43:47.

that line. Garcia comes in as well and the try is there for Italy. And

:43:48.:43:53.

the man with his hands on the ball is Palazzani. Garcia was adding his

:43:54.:43:59.

weight. I'm not sure - did he get a touchdown? It might have been

:44:00.:44:04.

Palazzani, the scrum-half. I think it is Palazzani. He was digging for

:44:05.:44:13.

that ball. The ball was at the back of them all. I think that line

:44:14.:44:21.

coming up... I think he scored a well-deserved try. He's played

:44:22.:44:28.

really well in the last two games. Scrum-half on the back of

:44:29.:44:35.

hard-working forwards. Well, he actually scored against Wales in the

:44:36.:44:39.

World Cup warm up game, Palazzani, and this is his second try for

:44:40.:44:40.

Italy. So Kelly Haimona, to try and add the

:44:41.:44:47.

extra two points. Beautiful kick from Kelly Haimona.

:44:48.:45:18.

Seven points for Italy. Something to cling to.

:45:19.:45:25.

Kelly Haimona converted a well-deserved try from Guglielmo

:45:26.:45:30.

Palazzani. Ecstatic. He's happy. well-deserved try from Guglielmo

:45:31.:45:43.

its Haimona Fielding at the restart. And back it goes to Tommaso Allan. ,

:45:44.:45:49.

so Alan has had a really good game. He's been solid in defence. For

:45:50.:45:55.

somebody who hasn't played a test match this whole Six Nations, he's

:45:56.:45:59.

coming under pressure and I think he's dealt with it really well, this

:46:00.:46:08.

afternoon. So Ken Owens, a man under pressure. And

:46:09.:46:12.

afternoon. So Ken Owens, a man under stung by that. Ken Owens made an

:46:13.:46:19.

impact last week. I thought he carried the ball very well. A loop

:46:20.:46:27.

around by Rhys Webb and it opens things up. Davies has to get the

:46:28.:46:30.

ball away sharply with Sarto in the and Liam Williams... Still there for

:46:31.:46:46.

Carried by an with strength. inside Charteris.

:46:47.:46:58.

Carried by an with strength. play like a second 58. Well

:46:59.:47:03.

Carried by an with strength. on by Gethin Jenkins, who is on for

:47:04.:47:13.

cap number 123. Still going through goes North, look at him against

:47:14.:47:15.

Palazzani. So Wales into the 22 and Biggar...

:47:16.:47:30.

Roberts flicks it onto Liam Williams. Liam Williams with a try.

:47:31.:47:38.

Wales score again. And Liam Williams with a fine finish. And Wales move

:47:39.:47:45.

beyond 40 points. That's a lovely ball. Again, its patients, going

:47:46.:47:50.

through the phases, waiting for the opportunity, and then they've got

:47:51.:47:53.

the numbers on the left-hand side and it's a correct pass. This is the

:47:54.:48:01.

final ball, I think. Garcia has come up, Odiete has come up, but they are

:48:02.:48:06.

man short, so it's a very good finish by Williams. There is the

:48:07.:48:10.

money ball. Flicks it on. Very difficult to stop that. They were

:48:11.:48:15.

man down because Italy have an injury but still a good finisher and

:48:16.:48:19.

Liam Williams. Last scored against Italy in this fixture last year and

:48:20.:48:21.

he's done it again. That's going to be the end as we

:48:22.:48:42.

watch the conversion. Visit Francesco Minto? He is heading off

:48:43.:48:46.

Dan Biggar. He readies Francesco Minto? He is heading off

:48:47.:48:55.

the conversion. It's coming round. Oh, hello. Running into the post,

:48:56.:49:06.

always comical. I'd quite like to see a replay of that! Can we see a

:49:07.:49:10.

replay of the touch judge running into the post? Here is the off-load.

:49:11.:49:17.

Early tackle but he keeps hold of the ball. And then he just recycles

:49:18.:49:21.

and goes and there's the finish. We will spare the blushes of Marius

:49:22.:49:36.

van der Westhuizen. What a spill by George North. So the ball for Italy.

:49:37.:49:42.

There is Fabiani. Ad vantage to Italy. Maclean gives

:49:43.:50:06.

it onto Fabiani. All a bit loose but still their advantage. Ken Owens

:50:07.:50:15.

penalised. So we'll have that penalty now. They go for the touch

:50:16.:50:24.

again. They have to go to the touchline. It's that time of the

:50:25.:50:27.

game where you got to try everything. You peel off the front,

:50:28.:50:32.

peel off the back. Just something that keeps the momentum moving

:50:33.:50:36.

forward but the body language of the Italians at the moment, they are

:50:37.:50:40.

really struggling. Just the remainder of the changes you will

:50:41.:50:44.

have seen in the graphics. Jarvis is on in the front row six. Lee is off.

:50:45.:50:49.

This is how the team started, the Welsh team, and now all the

:50:50.:50:56.

changes... Rhys Priestland on at fly half and Jake Ball on in the second

:50:57.:51:00.

row. Interesting to see how Priestland and Anscombe work

:51:01.:51:04.

together. He's a different full-back. There's the Italian team

:51:05.:51:05.

with the changes. Italy looking for a second try here.

:51:06.:51:26.

Abramovich stain is also on, the South African born runner. --

:51:27.:51:38.

Abraham Steyn. Fabiani, the replacement hooker, gets his hands

:51:39.:51:39.

on it. He's looking for that energy and

:51:40.:51:56.

speed. Wales set the defence again as Parisse mulls a few things over.

:51:57.:52:10.

Abraham Steyn coming on for the injured Francesco Minto. Palazzani

:52:11.:52:18.

will now and the chance once more for Italy. Garcia for the try. A

:52:19.:52:23.

beautiful off-load in the tackle and they claim a second try. A well

:52:24.:52:30.

worked try through patient phases, maintaining positions, using your

:52:31.:52:34.

big forwards, being direct in midfield and Reece Burke about Tommy

:52:35.:52:39.

Alan and how he's played well this week. -- we spoke about Tommaso

:52:40.:52:46.

Allan. A well worked try and well-deserved. It's not something

:52:47.:52:49.

that they're lying downfall. They're looking to take this game. They are

:52:50.:52:52.

being positive with everything they're doing. It's a

:52:53.:52:57.

being positive with everything Tommaso Allan just sees a dog-leg

:52:58.:53:01.

defence, pushes through the gap and gets his arm through the tackle.

:53:02.:53:05.

That's a lovely off-load and there's good support and a good finish.

:53:06.:53:10.

Gonzalo Garcia has had a massive contribution in Italy's backline

:53:11.:53:14.

this Six Nations. He puts his body on the line and is supremely

:53:15.:53:18.

committed all the time and is one of the unsung heroes in this backline.

:53:19.:53:23.

He has just got a knee injury which is heavily strapped. He's getting a

:53:24.:53:27.

bit of treatment as Kelly Haimona lines up for the conversion attempt.

:53:28.:53:37.

Another good one from tries and 27 point tries for Italy.

:53:38.:53:49.

-- two seven point tries. Wales making a change. Gareth A Davies is

:53:50.:53:51.

coming on for Rhys Webb. Carried in by Geldenhuys. Debate it

:53:52.:54:23.

goes to to Masoe Alan -- Tommaso Allan. Not quite able to field it.

:54:24.:54:35.

Clever play from Italy, staying inside the 22, which allows them to

:54:36.:54:39.

kick directly into touch. He's cleared 45 metres with that kick.

:54:40.:54:48.

Nicely knocked back by Jake Ball. Williams chasing it down. Luke

:54:49.:54:51.

McLean should get there for Italy and he's just taken into touch by

:54:52.:54:59.

Williams. Good play again. Always the option of a left foot kicked by

:55:00.:55:01.

Jonathan Davies. Nothing really McLean could do. More

:55:02.:55:20.

changes happening. The hairy fellow coming on is Alberto Lucchese. And

:55:21.:55:29.

we remind you a game that later on, 7:20pm, BBC One, France against

:55:30.:55:32.

England, England going for the Grand Slam. Owens finds Jake Ball. And

:55:33.:55:47.

Wales begin the march. Great play and a lovely try and it comes to

:55:48.:55:52.

Mariana two. Ross Moriarty is the man who gets over for another try

:55:53.:56:00.

for Wales. They moved past 50. That's very tight defence. It was

:56:01.:56:04.

just so easy. Nobody made a tackle, they broke free. It's deflecting the

:56:05.:56:13.

pressure to the front. Luke Daisy Waugh is trying to come in and stop

:56:14.:56:18.

them. -- Lucchese was trying to come in and stop them. It's so

:56:19.:56:25.

controlled, so cohesive. You've got players in front of the ball, which

:56:26.:56:28.

is extremely difficult to stop, and the momentum just carrying all the

:56:29.:56:31.

way forward. A well-deserved try for Ross Moriarty. Propelling him

:56:32.:56:36.

towards the line. seven tries for Wales today. It is

:56:37.:56:59.

Rhys Priestland to try and add the extra two points.

:57:00.:57:13.

It's coming around well. Slightly different styles about Biggar but

:57:14.:57:20.

beautifully struck by Rhys Priestland. Still 14 minutes to go.

:57:21.:57:31.

It's a long time. They've changed the attack to the front

:57:32.:57:37.

It's a long time. They've changed line-out. It's a very tired

:57:38.:57:40.

defensive line by the Italians now. line-out. It's a very tired

:57:41.:57:45.

A chip down the middle for Parisse but Moriarty was there again.

:57:46.:57:49.

A chip down the middle for Parisse Priestland flings it out.

:57:50.:57:53.

A chip down the middle for Parisse dangerous, as Garcia was raising up

:57:54.:57:57.

there. Garcia has been very good today. He hasn't stopped working

:57:58.:57:58.

hard. He's stopped a lot of Welsh today. He hasn't stopped working

:57:59.:58:09.

right-hand side defence. Jarvis is on. Matteo Zanusso is on

:58:10.:58:17.

right-hand side defence. Jarvis is row for Italy. Jonathan Davies into

:58:18.:58:21.

Haimona. Gareth Davies, row for Italy. Jonathan Davies into

:58:22.:58:30.

Charteris. Priestland carried back into the 22. McLean watching it and

:58:31.:58:39.

takes it. Could have off-loaded to Odiete. Eventually laid-back.

:58:40.:58:48.

Alberto Lucchese, replacement scrum-half for Italy, but it will be

:58:49.:58:55.

Parisse. A rather unpleasant past to Sarto. And there is Abraham Steyn,

:58:56.:59:06.

the number 20 player. And McLean, Odiete.

:59:07.:59:15.

Carried in now by Zanusso. And onto Fabiani. Advantage to Italy.

:59:16.:59:26.

Moriarty infringing, not rolling away on the tackle. And Parisse onto

:59:27.:59:35.

Abraham Steyn and Abraham Steyn, just as he was making his way

:59:36.:59:38.

through the gap, gives it onto Geldenhuys. And Tommaso Allan,

:59:39.:59:46.

looking for the off-load to Leonardo Sarto.

:59:47.:59:53.

He'll come all the way back for the penalty. It's the best phases of

:59:54.:00:01.

attack Italy have strung together in the whole game and the bravery and

:00:02.:00:06.

the tenacity to keep the ball in hand, just the ambition to keep the

:00:07.:00:10.

ball in action, as well. It's got to be welcomed. Haimona will try and

:00:11.:00:19.

put this into the corner. I think they will be relatively happy with

:00:20.:00:24.

the performance. Twos tries scored against the Italians, Sean Edward.

:00:25.:00:28.

I'm not sure how happy they would be if you could see the third.

:00:29.:00:35.

You can see the carries on the meter is made by both sides. Wales looking

:00:36.:00:41.

to cement second place in the table which will be of little consolation.

:00:42.:00:45.

It all really hinged on the game at Twickenham last week. Fabiani,

:00:46.:00:51.

looking for Zani at the back who gets his hands on it and Parisse,

:00:52.:00:58.

now, going to Braam Steyn. Steyn Lucchese, giving it to Fabiani. Good

:00:59.:01:05.

hits on him coming from Gethin Jenkins company and Garcia now.

:01:06.:01:09.

Italy, hunting Jenkins company and Garcia now.

:01:10.:01:15.

Lucchese. Into the final ten minutes and Chistolini, a little fumble and

:01:16.:01:20.

the boys out there for Davies and onto Williams. -- ball is out there.

:01:21.:01:30.

Davies again, playing scrum-half. Gareth Anscombe and Priestland and

:01:31.:01:35.

out wide to Roberts and a chance for Wales to attack. Gareth Davies, the

:01:36.:01:40.

replacement scrum-half to George North, and Tommaso Allan watching

:01:41.:01:42.

and it calms and the interception had to be made by Parisse. -- it

:01:43.:01:50.

comes. Lucchese gives it. McLean hacks forward. Tired bodies, chasing

:01:51.:01:54.

back. Gareth Anscombe and the game is opening up. Parisse is down

:01:55.:01:59.

injured. Trying to get back into play. Jonathan Davies. On it goes.

:02:00.:02:08.

Dan Lydiate, the captain. Advantage. It is to Wales. And they have a

:02:09.:02:13.

penalty. It is all beginning to break-up now and Gareth Davies

:02:14.:02:16.

carries on and Ben Williams with a spell and a chance for Italy to

:02:17.:02:21.

counter. Geldenhuys with a rather ungainly hack forward. I think

:02:22.:02:30.

everyone is relieved the whistle has gone, a lung busting phase of play

:02:31.:02:33.

and all the Italians and some of the Welsh as well have got their hands

editor of to say. -- a little injury. It is as the twists round.

:02:59.:03:03.

He looks as though he has twisted his ankle. I'm not sure because he's

:03:04.:03:08.

up on his feet and walking. Massive play from Sergio, his action, hand

:03:09.:03:12.

speed and controlling the ball is sublime. It was a little nudge in

:03:13.:03:16.

the back of the head from Jamie Roberts as well. That is what he

:03:17.:03:20.

might have been feeling as well. Just about ready to go again.

:03:21.:03:29.

So, a shortened line-out called by Italy and Fabiani, the Zebre hooker.

:03:30.:03:39.

Parisse, back to Lucchese. Tommaso Allan and Garcia. Jacopo Sarto. He

:03:40.:03:46.

has done well since he has come on, the elder brother. Spilled by

:03:47.:03:52.

Geldenhuys. He could not stoop down for that one. It was tired looking.

:03:53.:03:57.

Very tired looking, isn't it? He knows that. We stay disciplined and

:03:58.:04:07.

we stay good, even at the scrum. The first one in the second half. That

:04:08.:04:14.

was wary. You have do look at Jacopo Sarto on the bench and some of the

:04:15.:04:18.

players that have come on. A lot of the changes and the selections have

:04:19.:04:20.

been forced through injury but once the players that are injured

:04:21.:04:24.

comeback, it just broadens your depth and your base for the next

:04:25.:04:29.

group of selectors to select the team. Far more handling errors by

:04:30.:04:31.

group of selectors to select the Wales but they have had far more of

:04:32.:04:35.

the ball to play with. Seven and a half minutes to go. We have not had

:04:36.:04:42.

too many scrums of late, which has been... Very good! Yes. Roberts. And

:04:43.:04:49.

then Jonathan Davies. Lucchese preventing the off-load from the

:04:50.:04:53.

ground. Davies gives it onto Moriarty. He's done well to stay in

:04:54.:04:59.

there, Moriarty. Jake Ball to Ken Owens. And Davies again. So many

:05:00.:05:08.

times, Davies has had to really very quickly give the ball away. Braam

:05:09.:05:13.

Steyn up on him this time. They still have not worked out the blitz

:05:14.:05:21.

defence yet, Wales, of Italy. Still Wales but deep inside their own half

:05:22.:05:24.

and there's a little chip over the top from Priestland and how does it

:05:25.:05:29.

bounce? Odiete claims it. George North emerges with it, though, and

:05:30.:05:36.

feeds Roberts. Complaint from Roberts and Wales have the

:05:37.:05:40.

advantage, quickly taken by Davies. But the referee says no. The same.

:05:41.:05:50.

If you are not, you wait for the mark. He has got his hand on the

:05:51.:05:57.

ball. He ripped it out. It has been poked into the corner for Wales to

:05:58.:06:06.

launch another attack. Let's have a look at George North, ten carries,

:06:07.:06:07.

Wales, successfully working the 116 metres. That is fairly decent.

:06:08.:06:19.

Wales, successfully working the line-out and Roberts, and Wales

:06:20.:06:24.

still full of running and muscle. The Italian defence looking more

:06:25.:06:27.

tired. Back it goes to Jake Ball. Wales again, trying to attack with

:06:28.:06:51.

some patience. Lydiard. Getting closer and closer and

:06:52.:06:56.

some patience. Lydiard. Getting there. -- Liddy

:06:57.:06:56.

Jonathan Davies. Drawing in the defence. Why it goes, through

:06:57.:07:09.

Priestland and Gareth Anscombe. -- wide it goes. Davies slips it away

:07:10.:07:12.

and Moriarty carries. Priestland. Gareth Anscombe.

:07:13.:07:28.

Floating it over the top and so nearly intercepted by Garcia, en

:07:29.:07:33.

route to George North. Garcia is struggling. Really struggling, he

:07:34.:07:38.

had cramp through the last phase, he's given everything, I don't think

:07:39.:07:41.

there's anything left in the tank. This is a good decision, you, a lot

:07:42.:07:46.

of referees would have said, yellow card and get off but he said, he

:07:47.:07:51.

went for the ball, he was not deliberate, he went for the

:07:52.:07:53.

interception so it's a good decision. He's an absolute warhorse

:07:54.:07:58.

and he needs to hang on for another five and a half minutes. There are

:07:59.:08:04.

no more backs for Italy to use so he just has to hang on. There was a 41

:08:05.:08:10.

point victory in Rome last year and it is 31 at the moment -- 39 at the

:08:11.:08:15.

moment. Wales with a chance to extend that lead, here. Another

:08:16.:08:21.

advantage to Wales, side entry by Italy. Ken Owens. A very lively

:08:22.:08:31.

hooker. Priestland, a little pop over the

:08:32.:08:32.

hooker. Priestland, a little pop claims it but they will be back for

:08:33.:08:38.

the penalty. Doing very well, Odiete. Man of the match, quickly? I

:08:39.:08:44.

think Rhys Webb made exceptionally well and so did Jamie Roberts but

:08:45.:08:47.

Faletau, as ever, just does everything. For me, I think the

:08:48.:08:51.

standout player for Wales has debate, there he is, my Six Nations,

:08:52.:08:57.

RBS Six Nations man debate, there he is, my Six Nations,

:08:58.:09:04.

George North. What do the crowd think of that? CHEERING

:09:05.:09:07.

Strangely enough, they like it! think of that? CHEERING

:09:08.:09:12.

Welsh line-out, looking for another try. The final three minutes of the

:09:13.:09:21.

game, advantage to Wales. Another try surely has to come, Gareth

:09:22.:09:22.

Davies! try surely has to come, Gareth

:09:23.:09:32.

another try. Faletau in there, Faletau goes himself but Zanni and

:09:33.:09:35.

Zanusso have him. Gethin Jenkins. Faletau goes himself but Zanni and

:09:36.:09:46.

And the crowd would dearly love another. Fed on to Jake Ball. Well

:09:47.:09:59.

knocked back in the challenge. Wide they go and Jamie Roberts floated

:10:00.:10:04.

over Odiete again and will they go the length of the field? No, back

:10:05.:10:08.

they come and Odiete does not know. Look at him go. He does not know.

:10:09.:10:15.

Poor fellow! Back you come! He is delighted and then he put his head

:10:16.:10:25.

up. Romain Poite pulled them back, actually, for the infringement on

:10:26.:10:30.

the maul. He deemed it to be a maul because Sergio was still in contact

:10:31.:10:34.

with the Welsh pack as they were advancing. Odiete has come around

:10:35.:10:42.

and stopped the maul and so the sidelines were in place. It was

:10:43.:10:45.

bitterly new was offside so advantage being played but good

:10:46.:10:49.

running, young fellow. A slap on the back from George North! And away

:10:50.:10:52.

they go and it will be a back from George North! And away

:10:53.:10:59.

has to be, Moriarty with a second! And for Wales, it is number eight

:11:00.:11:02.

and they are moving up towards 60 points now with a minute to go. Half

:11:03.:11:08.

the Italians were not back in position and that is what they guard

:11:09.:11:10.

complaining about. They were still walking back from the Odiete

:11:11.:11:16.

intercept. -- they are complaining. I tell you what, though, this guy

:11:17.:11:20.

has played exceptionally well since coming on as well. Look at all the

:11:21.:11:25.

Italians, they are just waiting and it's a quick tap and he scores a

:11:26.:11:29.

try, great angle but a few of the Italian boys are still walking back.

:11:30.:11:33.

-- great angle. I think Ross Moriarty has played exceptionally

:11:34.:11:36.

well since coming on. He has really made a mark in this game. I think he

:11:37.:11:42.

has carried the ball so well. He has really enjoyed it. I know his mum

:11:43.:11:49.

and dad will be very proud of him. This might well be the final kick of

:11:50.:11:53.

the game and it is fitting that the strains Bread Of Heaven are ringing

:11:54.:11:58.

around the stadium. They have been fed until they wanted no more. Eight

:11:59.:12:02.

tries and this is for the conversion. Through it goes and

:12:03.:12:09.

Wales, as the clock goes red, move to 60 points. And the referee is

:12:10.:12:14.

having a look at the clock and I wonder if he will just say enough is

:12:15.:12:19.

enough? He should. Put Italy out of their misery. But no, it is an

:12:20.:12:23.

opportunity for Wales to score again. Will they go for another one?

:12:24.:12:28.

Will they just kicked the ball into touch? The kick is before 80 or

:12:29.:12:38.

after? Not quite, the club was before 80. It's too late now. They

:12:39.:12:44.

are plain on, not quite Wales' biggest win in the Six Nations, that

:12:45.:12:49.

was against Scotland couple of years ago, 51-3 after Stuart Hogg got a

:12:50.:12:53.

red card. They are looking for more, Wales, and they might well get it.

:12:54.:12:58.

The Liam Williams. Just fending off the attention of Leonardo Sarto.

:12:59.:13:06.

Ball gets it away nicely and a real opportunity, here. Just a check by

:13:07.:13:13.

Jenkins to take the ball behind him. A lovely little step and away goes

:13:14.:13:15.

George North, still going, Luke In through Cain Sergio Parisse save

:13:16.:13:29.

his side as Wales were threatening again. And Italy will have a final

:13:30.:13:31.

fling. Fabiani. They don't want to just boot the

:13:32.:13:41.

ball out as Braam Steyn carries. Let's see if they can find

:13:42.:13:46.

something. Haimona with a little chip, into space. He's never going

:13:47.:13:52.

to get there, is he? Now an opportunity, Gareth Anscombe who has

:13:53.:13:55.

bought and it might be another try as Brisbane takes it, carried on by

:13:56.:13:57.

Dan Lydiate and it will be, surely? as Brisbane takes it, carried on by

:13:58.:14:04.

Davies for the dry and what they try to finish with. -- further try. Two

:14:05.:14:09.

minutes into dead time and Wales go up to 65 points. Cruel on Italy but

:14:10.:14:12.

are bidding finish to this game for Wales. They got up with intent. They

:14:13.:14:18.

have scored some lovely, lovely tries today, looked dangerous in

:14:19.:14:23.

broken field. Gareth Anscombe with the off-load, Dan Lydiate,

:14:24.:14:27.

Priestland, Dan Lydiate and Ben Garratt Davis, finishing off. He is

:14:28.:14:32.

such a try scorer, this kid. -- and then Gareth Davies. They have

:14:33.:14:35.

redeemed themselves from last week's defeat. They have gone out and

:14:36.:14:42.

played an open, attacking game and the Italians look shot. It is over

:14:43.:14:46.

from the boot of Rhys Priestland and Wales move to 67 points. It is a

:14:47.:14:52.

record win for them now in the Six Nations. It is a humbling defeat for

:14:53.:14:56.

Italy and Sergio Parisse is seen far too many of those, and the likes of

:14:57.:15:01.

Lee and Castrogiovanni deserve rather better than this. But Italy,

:15:02.:15:06.

well, they will improve in the future, we hope, they must do.

:15:07.:15:11.

Today, this is a sideshow. The big game is in Paris. But you know,

:15:12.:15:17.

Wales wanted to go out on a high. They have a tough tour to New

:15:18.:15:21.

Zealand in the summer so they wanted to give something back to the fans.

:15:22.:15:25.

The Italians started well in Paris. They have

:15:26.:15:28.

The Italians started well in Paris. injuries. They have looked very,

:15:29.:15:33.

very tired in the last two games. No strength in depth. A good way for

:15:34.:15:38.

Wales to go out. Italy, you know, they have to go back to the drawing

:15:39.:15:43.

board. Interesting for Wales now, they have an oddly scheduled match

:15:44.:15:45.

against England at the end of May and then the three tests against New

:15:46.:15:52.

Zealand. But a great way to finish. Well, if they can just go to New

:15:53.:15:58.

Zealand, New Zealand rebuilding without Dan Carter, Richie McCaw,

:15:59.:16:02.

Ma'a Nonu, so a lot of people think they have a great chance of going

:16:03.:16:05.

down there. If they get the set piece and the basics right, but they

:16:06.:16:09.

will have to be far more clinical in their execution against New Zealand.

:16:10.:16:14.

But they go on the back of a good result. Ireland scored nine tries in

:16:15.:16:17.

victory over Italy last week and Wales have done the same, 67-14,

:16:18.:16:22.

their victory, to round off the Six Nations campaign.

:16:23.:16:30.

Wales have won six matches at the Principality Stadium for the first

:16:31.:16:33.

time. They won their opening five Test matches, part of a nine match

:16:34.:16:39.

winning streak at all them venues. A record breaking in and in fairness,

:16:40.:16:44.

Keith, did you say 65 or 67? Not bad. I rarely get it

:16:45.:16:52.

George North, man of the match, four tries in four games, equalling Shane

:16:53.:16:59.

Williams' record and an emphatic victory at home, how does it feel?

:17:00.:17:03.

It feels great. We knew we had to come out and perform today and we

:17:04.:17:07.

showed our intent and desire to win and win well. I think the scoreline

:17:08.:17:12.

says it all. It is a record victory. Is this redemption for what happened

:17:13.:17:17.

last week at a again? We know what happened last week. We needed to

:17:18.:17:20.

work hard and get it right and this week was a new week. We had to focus

:17:21.:17:24.

on performing well and doing things right, we knew what we had to work

:17:25.:17:28.

on and get the result we deserved. New Zealand's next in the summer.

:17:29.:17:34.

Looking forward to it? I will relax for now and worry about that when we

:17:35.:17:38.

get there! Congratulations, well done. I bet he can't wait to go to

:17:39.:17:46.

New Zealand! Played well today and all tournament, George North. He's

:17:47.:17:50.

back to his best, had a difficult season last season with a concussion

:17:51.:17:54.

and so forth and we spoke about it before in the show, she's only 23 in

:17:55.:17:57.

learning his game but he showed how athletic and dangerously was today,

:17:58.:18:01.

along with that man, Moriarty, who made a huge impact off the bench. I

:18:02.:18:05.

think he is someone who people were bigging up before the World Cup last

:18:06.:18:08.

year and he is something different to what we have got in the back row,

:18:09.:18:12.

can expose defences and carries really well, so good impact off the

:18:13.:18:16.

bench from them. Let's go back down to pitch side and he is with --

:18:17.:18:20.

losses with Dan Lydiate. The winning captain, your first Test match in

:18:21.:18:25.

charge of Wales and it is a record victory. You, obviously, we were

:18:26.:18:28.

disappointed with last week. We owed it to the fans this week. -- yes,

:18:29.:18:33.

obviously. Gave away a couple of soft tries but the boys went out

:18:34.:18:37.

there and play their hearts out so I could not ask for more. Your back

:18:38.:18:40.

row colleague, Ross Moriarty with two drives, helped by you,

:18:41.:18:45.

particularly the first one. It would have been nice to score myself, to

:18:46.:18:49.

be honest! Getting over the whitewash is all that matters.

:18:50.:18:56.

Gutted for who went off but Ross had a great impact. Is it a question of

:18:57.:18:59.

what might have been in this tournament, stronger stance against

:19:00.:19:02.

Ireland and England and perhaps you would have been playing for the

:19:03.:19:07.

championship today? Yes, two bad parts of Rugby L down in this

:19:08.:19:11.

championship. Let's hope we learn from this, especially last week.

:19:12.:19:16.

Make sure we don't turn up and start games like we have done in the first

:19:17.:19:21.

game and the last game. Cracking performance today, though,

:19:22.:19:29.

congratulations. Sergio Parisse mon the losing side, commiserations.

:19:30.:19:33.

What was the difference between the sides today? Well, I think Wales

:19:34.:19:36.

played with lots of speed, especially from the beginning. They

:19:37.:19:40.

scored tries in the first phase sometimes. A big mistake on our

:19:41.:19:45.

part. It was difficult. After that, in the second half, again, a lot of

:19:46.:19:51.

things, a lot of guys with problems. But you know, Wales are a great

:19:52.:19:58.

team. Especially for the young guys, there is much to keep working and

:19:59.:20:02.

learn from this defeat and build something for the future. A tough

:20:03.:20:06.

campaign for Italy overall, so many injuries. Did those derail your Six

:20:07.:20:08.

Nations this year? The injuries. Did those derail your Six

:20:09.:20:19.

single nation sometimes has a lot of injuries. Maybe for us, it is more

:20:20.:20:22.

difficult because we don't have the depth in our group. But no

:20:23.:20:31.

difficult because we don't have the and from June, we will have another

:20:32.:20:33.

staff and maybe things will change. Despite seeming overwhelmed at times

:20:34.:20:38.

today, plenty of spirit shown by the Azzurri, two drives of your own.

:20:39.:20:43.

Yes, -- two Azzurri, two drives of your own.

:20:44.:20:47.

to play matches when you are losing by 50 or 60 points

:20:48.:20:51.

try to do good things, scored two tries too many mistakes

:20:52.:20:53.

try to do good things, scored two Wales play with a lot of speed and

:20:54.:20:59.

they have great backs and they put us under pressure today.

:21:00.:21:03.

Commiserations. He is a wonderful player and when you look at their

:21:04.:21:07.

miserable away record, they have now won two of their 40 36 Nations away

:21:08.:21:11.

fixtures, both in Edinburgh. One wonders how he must feel. A

:21:12.:21:14.

top-class rugby international, always on the losing side. So Wales

:21:15.:21:18.

and their Six Nations campaign in second but it is very much all about

:21:19.:21:24.

England and they take on France at the Stade de France for the Grand

:21:25.:21:25.

Slam this evening. You have to have sympathy to Sergio

:21:26.:21:33.

Parisse god they were not at the races today. Absolutely and in the

:21:34.:21:36.

first they did not play particularly well and gave up the ghost with ten

:21:37.:21:40.

or 15 minutes to go in the first. In the second half, they played better,

:21:41.:21:46.

their line they did a lot. But one mistake followed by another -- their

:21:47.:21:50.

line speed, they did a lot. But one mistake followed another followed by

:21:51.:21:54.

dropping ahead for the last nine or ten minutes and then they got hot

:21:55.:21:58.

lead. It is tough. He is Klaasen has been for so long. He has had to

:21:59.:22:04.

stand up as captain and talk to us, to the media. -- he is class and has

:22:05.:22:08.

been. After every defeat, he has spoken to us with grace over that

:22:09.:22:13.

period of time but your heart bleeds for him. Fair play to him but

:22:14.:22:17.

unfortunately for Italy and a lot of the Six Nations teams, they've come

:22:18.:22:20.

up against a vast improve George North. Yes, for Wales, they are

:22:21.:22:24.

under run massive amount of pressure, I think the media puts

:22:25.:22:28.

them under more pressure than most. It is the work, Kelly Haimona, on

:22:29.:22:31.

the inside, he does not need to be there, giving any attention, to mass

:22:32.:22:36.

are Alan has it covered. He needs to stay out by George North is coming

:22:37.:22:39.

on the outside, the acceleration and the power and the speed and the

:22:40.:22:44.

balance, his conviction that he's going to score the try makes the

:22:45.:22:47.

difference between a player in form and someone who is really struggling

:22:48.:22:52.

and hunting for tries. And a record-breaking afternoon because he

:22:53.:22:55.

has scored in four successive Six Nations matches, equalling Shane

:22:56.:23:01.

Williams in 2008. They used to well off the wing, he looked for work and

:23:02.:23:05.

looked energetic. We said before the show, when Wales are on the front

:23:06.:23:08.

foot, the game opens up which is perfect for him. It is great to have

:23:09.:23:12.

him back to his best. You mentioned going down to New Zealand in the

:23:13.:23:15.

summer and George North needs to be at his very best if Wales are going

:23:16.:23:19.

to do anything down there because it will be a very tough three games. A

:23:20.:23:22.

great way to finish and it gives them a lot of confidence going down

:23:23.:23:26.

there. It is and he played very well. He's one of those world-class

:23:27.:23:31.

players. I just think the summer tour is too much for most of these

:23:32.:23:36.

teams. A big play up for the World Cup which takes a huge amount of

:23:37.:23:39.

effort, followed immediately afterwards by the Six Nations and

:23:40.:23:42.

then three Test matches in New Zealand. You will relish it but at

:23:43.:23:45.

some stage, you have to give them a break which is why when you see

:23:46.:23:48.

somebody like Ross Moriarty coming into it, because he is young and

:23:49.:23:55.

fresh and the energy of there. But for the most part, we

fresh and the energy of there. But protect these players a little bit

:24:00.:24:01.

because we have got far too many injuries. Viewers watching today

:24:02.:24:07.

will recognise that, Moriarty and Wales have an after bit of a gem. I

:24:08.:24:13.

played against his father. Are you that old? I think he was a view is

:24:14.:24:17.

older than me, coming to the end of his career but I mentioned earlier,

:24:18.:24:21.

new so dynamic and powerful. He is really aggressive. He treads a fine

:24:22.:24:24.

line sometimes, gives penalties away but I think he is there, pushing Dan

:24:25.:24:30.

Lydiate very close that the number six jersey. He playing at Gloucester

:24:31.:24:33.

which is not helping his cause when it comes to Welsh selection. Also

:24:34.:24:38.

Sam Warburton, we have not mentioned him, he was not involved today but

:24:39.:24:41.

it shows the strength in the back row. That is what it means to score

:24:42.:24:46.

an international test drive. Two in one game as well, you will be

:24:47.:24:49.

streaming proud. He mentioned before he came onto the pitch, what an

:24:50.:24:56.

impact. He knew what he had to do, get your hands on the ball, cause

:24:57.:24:59.

carnage and the result is some thing you can be proud of. Today in many

:25:00.:25:02.

ways makes it more frustrating for the Welsh bands, had it gone to plan

:25:03.:25:04.

last week, had they had started so slowly at Twickenham, they would

:25:05.:25:07.

have been in a perfect position to win the title. Yes, they have

:25:08.:25:11.

struggled starting matches, look at how they started against Ireland in

:25:12.:25:14.

the first game and ended up with the draw and how they started against

:25:15.:25:17.

England, but these are the big matches they had to bow forming and

:25:18.:25:20.

they did not for whatever reason. There will be a bit of

:25:21.:25:25.

soul-searching because Wales have traditionally won the championship

:25:26.:25:27.

Laura Brown slam immediately after the World Cup and they did not get

:25:28.:25:32.

close this year. -- championship or a Grand Slam. What is great about

:25:33.:25:36.

Warren Gatland's squad today, Rhys Webb came back and played well but

:25:37.:25:40.

Gareth Davies was magnificent in the World Cup and comes on the day and

:25:41.:25:43.

is itching to prove to the coaching staff that he wants the place back.

:25:44.:25:47.

That is what you want, competition for places, Wales have not had that

:25:48.:25:50.

traditionally, you more or less know the starting 15 but today with 20 or

:25:51.:25:55.

25 off-load they have managed, not the greatest Italy team but they

:25:56.:25:58.

have shown what they can do, how they can play in the last 15 minutes

:25:59.:26:03.

at Twickenham -- 15 minutes at Twickenham and that is when the

:26:04.:26:05.

Welsh public gets frustrated sometimes. We know it is within

:26:06.:26:09.

them, how good and skilful way but it seems to be safety first

:26:10.:26:12.

sometimes. Hopefully the last ten minutes of last week and this game

:26:13.:26:16.

shows that we need to evolve and if we are going to beat the top teams

:26:17.:26:20.

because the next six games for Wales I huge, England away, three against

:26:21.:26:23.

New Zealand and then Australia and South Africa so we will find out

:26:24.:26:27.

exactly where they are after those games. At some stage under Warren

:26:28.:26:31.

Gatland, they need to register big wins against the big southern

:26:32.:26:34.

hemisphere opponents. Yes, they have not done it and they need to do it

:26:35.:26:39.

and consistently. The power game the normally played, I don't think it

:26:40.:26:42.

suits the southern hemisphere, playing against them, but that is

:26:43.:26:47.

all you can have in your locker. As you said, in the last two weeks, we

:26:48.:26:51.

have seen an ability to go and score a try and maybe it is having the

:26:52.:26:54.

freedom to have a cut from earlier in the game. It's a huge job, if it

:26:55.:26:58.

is going to be con crochet for Italy, a massive job. It's a massive

:26:59.:27:03.

job, he's coming into a team that has taken huge hits over the Six

:27:04.:27:08.

Nations. It is a team that needs rebuilding, and needs to be a bit

:27:09.:27:11.

more belief and confidence instilled in them. But you have seen what a

:27:12.:27:16.

new coach does, a breath of fresh air, different players aspire to

:27:17.:27:19.

that, you have to impress the new coach and there are new players,

:27:20.:27:23.

like Jacopo Sarto, not even in the reckoning before, get his chance

:27:24.:27:26.

tonight and comes in and has an opportunity to keep the journey.

:27:27.:27:30.

Lots of players with lots to play for, new motivation with the new

:27:31.:27:33.

coach and it is only positive. One moment that the band 's the touch

:27:34.:27:41.

judge, when Dan Biggar... He kicked and there you go, that will be on

:27:42.:27:46.

the question of sport very soon, you can guarantee it. Let's bring you

:27:47.:27:49.

up-to-date with what is coming up on the BBC. A massive day of sport.

:27:50.:28:01.
