Day 14, Part 2 Snooker: World Championship

the sports most important annual event, we hope it provide you with a

decent excuse to ignore the perennials for a few hours. We are

on and off here all afternoon and this is our bill of fare.

Ronnie O'Sullivan says he has come back for the cash and there is

standard bearers for respective snooker generations and what an

it was important that he didn't get too many of the balls tied up. And

that pink will be available into the right corner, perfect on the blue.

the fact he didn't convert will be a frustration. He was walking a bit at

the end. Ken, the fascination will be not a single century break in

this. Still great entertainment, though. 16 friends and not a single

century between them is very unusual. However, on the other hand,

we've had a lot of tension and highly entertaining but you ready

from both players and really fantastic safety, particularly in

been fascinated by what we've been seeing out there. We've also been

intrigued by the comments from viewers about Ronnie O'Sullivan. It

has galvanised the press room where acres of copy have been generated.

Has Ronnie squandered, perhaps, some of the goodwill that was generated

towards him because of the magnitude of this task he was taking on and

the subsequent comments thereafter? I'm unsure of the timing. That's why

I'm a little bit surprised. In a way, it it might put extra heat on

him. Whether he likes and welcomes that heat or not, I think sometimes

when you have a lot of that stuff in the papers, there's more attention

on you and I'd be rather deflecting attention away. It may put extra

pressure on him. It remains to be seen. There was one comment that he

has to fulfil ten tournaments or something. That makes a mockery of

what he then said in the press conference but who knows? I think

we'll be talking about it for some time. We've got a 60 break coming up

very shortly. That's a break of 60 minutes anyway because politics will
