Wednesday, Quarter-finals, Morning Snooker: World Championship

Aloe and good morning. Welcome to the Crucible. We are edging ever

closer to the 2016 world Snooker Championships semifinals. China's

Ding Junhui is already through, the first man into the last four by

knocking out Mark Williams with a session to spare yesterday evening.

Today, we will see if the young English qualifier can continue his

very tail run here at this fairy tale venue. I am good friends with

Peter Ebdon. It was an unbelievable experience to watch with ticket he

gave me and as soon as I was there, I knew I had to go there to play. It

is a surreal experience. As soon as you sit down, you are daunted by how

close everyone is to use but it is a fantastic venue. I went up a couple

of days before, went into the venue, had a look around, got my bearings.

That is something I like to do before I play, trying to acclimatise

to everywhere. There is so much history and so many memories there,

you want to make those memories for yourself and go down in history

yourself. There is no atmosphere like it. You look into the back and

it seems like it goes off for miles when really it is quite small and

compact. Sometimes, you are even close to falling over the barrier

when you play a shot. It is so unique and special. There is a buzz

around Sheffield when it is on, especially if you have got nice

weather and everyone is out the back of the Crucible, with the big screen

TV up. There is a real buzz. Driving in, you have the signs for the

Snooker. It is really special. It is the pinnacle of our sport, really.

Everybody choosing to watch the Crucible. It is certainly somewhere

I would like to meet -- like to lift the trophy. I won't stop until I get

there. Whatever happens today, we will certainly remember his run to

the quarterfinals. He has knocked out Joe Perry and Mark allen. Such a

lovely lad as well. He won the Shanghai Masters last season. He

trails Mark Selby, who needs only three more frames to set up a

semifinal for himself. Kyren Wilson's family are in the Crucible

this morning. They are in the centre of the screen there. You can see his

brother, his dad, his mum, Sonia, and his sister. I think they have

just spotted that they are on the television. I am sure they are very

proud of what he has achieved to date. The players are standing by.

Let's join our MC, Rob Walker. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Dean

has done it with a session to spare and today, three more players will

join him. Welcome to a very important day 12 here at the

Crucible. -- Ding Junhui has done it.

Please welcome first of all, a man who is flourishing into his 40s, 25

years after his debut, this is his second quarterfinal in two years. He

will draw on all of those years of experience here this morning, he is

Alan, the Angles, McManus. And his opponent, one of the finest

sportsmen his country has ever produced, here bidding for an eighth

Crucible semifinal. Winner of 28 big ones in all, four times a champion

of the world, the Wizard of Wishaw, John Higgins.

And on table two, a young man who has climbed up into the top 16 for

the first time. Can he make it through today? He will have a go,

because he is the warrior, Kyren Wilson.

And his opponent, bidding for a fourth Crucible semifinal, one of

the sport's ultimate opponents. He never loses his cool under pressure.

He is the world number one, the Jester from Leicester, Mark Selby.

Rob is actually -- absolutely right. He beat so many people on his way to

the finals last year but this is a really tall order. He has two

somehow come back from 10-6 to knock out Mark Selby. That is your life

much here to date. Your other matches available now on the red

morning to our commentary team, Dennis Taylor and Ken Doherty.

Good morning, Jason, and good morning everyone watching. Kyren

Wilson up against the world number one.

Mark Selby, I don't think anyone else would have come out of the last

session for frames all against Kyren Wilson because Mark didn't play well

at all and he could quite easily have won that session 6-2, Ken? Yes,

he has got it all to do this morning. We have seen on many

occasions that obviously his target is to win three of the first four

frames at least. If he can do that, he is well back in the match. It has

happened many times before, Dennis, as you know. Players have come back

from a 10-6 deficit but he has got to come to it with a good start.

A good start, a good long putt. Always nice when you knock a long

one in. No problem. This is an early chance because there are five or six

rates nicely placed here. What ever confidence Mark Selby lost in the

second session, which he seemed devoid of. It was as if his

confidence was bereft in the second session, those two pots are a good

sign. Sometimes when you start off slowly in a session, it can

snowball. There is a snowball effect. But those first two pots

right in the heart of the pocket will make him feel very, very good.

Ken, you mentioned comebacks in matches and I remember very early in

the morning, I woke up at 3am this morning, put snooker extra on and

you were playing Paul Hunter in 2003 and you were 15-9 behind. 2003,

while. We've had a lot of great comebacks in this wonderful theatre

of hours and none greater than your own, 8-0 down to Steve Davis in 2005

-- in 1995. There is a history to them, there is no doubt about that.

It certainly can happen. And the players know that because they have

seen it on the television over the years, they have witnessed it

themselves, they have witnessed it in person and they know about it.

Sometimes that can inspire them out there. It certainly did when I

played Paul Hunter. Certainly when I was playing Paul Hunter in those

days, I grew on -- I drew on your great victory over Steve Davis and

all the other comebacks over the years here.

Of course, the arena will change completely for the semifinal stages,

with the table right in the middle. The dividing wall disappears and

then the Crucible comes into its own. That hasn't quite worked out.

He was going along very nicely and then all of a sudden the only

possible pothead is a cannon, which didn't work out. -- the only

possible pot here. He might try to double this red, but if it is not

the correct angle, it will be a telling safety. He knows how

important this first frame is. He will set his all out, wanting to get

off to a quick start. It doesn't look a natural to take the double on

and keep it safe at the same time, so just the pin safety. -- the Finn

safety. Ad is the type of shot he has been

knocking in but are detected yesterday that he has been looking a

bit tired. It takes it out of you mentally, doesn't it? Absolutely. It

is the adrenaline that keeps you going in this championship. I

suppose you'd have to say he was a little bit unlucky. It was the only

red he could leave other, that is why he took a calculated risk having

a go at it. Unfortunately for Kyren Wilson, it has left a mark with a

good chance to build on that lead. He played a nice delicates done into

the red spare. -- into the reds there. He has got a terrible kick

there. Just watch this cake. Any more of a

kick and that might have dropped. It has left this a little bit awkward.

He can't run three to the red to the right of the bunch.

He just avoided that red but he had to play it gently and he has made a

good job of the position from that shop there. He wants to get to his

target 68 score to avoid a Snickers stage. He could be a little bit

short with the blue there. He had played that very well. Couldn't have

played it much better. He's got such a strong game, even

when he's not at his best, hasn't he? In his last match, I think he

was 11-7 up, his opponent came back to 11 to 11 and he still came back.

Even when he's not playing at his best, his B game is still so good.

Mark Selby is a player who has a B game and a C game and it is still

amazing. He really is the all-round player.

He is 64 ahead so he has the choice of going into the reds. The blue

would mean snooker is where required. That is why he is just

going to pick off the loose thread to make sure of the frame. -- the

loose red to make sure of the frame. One of those occasions, we always

talk of going into the pack of reds, but you just want to press home your

advantage. You don't want to go into the pack and not be on anything. You

just want to make sure of the frame, don't you? Get our next red on the

board. He looks much more alert here this

morning, the world number one. I think, all of a sudden, with the

favourite, Ronnie O'Sullivan, going out, it has thrown this year's what

championship wide open. It puts quite a bit of pressure on the

players but if anybody can cope with it, you'd have to say it would be

Mark Selby. He is a totally different player this session.

He will want to try to put all the balls here, so he has a tricky red

along the question to try to negotiate. -- along the

if he misses the brown, he will clear up.

Can't quite get to the century break.

And exhibition positional shot from the world number one and he has

played it perfectly. Coming round, I thought he was going

to leave the black but as you say, he wants to put them all. A trick

shot. It is coming back towards the pocket, and with that magnificent

break there, Mark Selby has got the start that he wanted and he extends

his lead, leading 11-6. Kyren couldn't do much about that. He had

one half chance. He is a dynamic long putt -- pot player, and it was

a long shot because he will not leave much for him. I think that is

why he took it on. He has been knocking the sun. He was hoping to

be on the black if the red goes in, of course, but look at where the red

landed. It landed over the bottom left-hand corner pocket and

subsequently Mark Selby went on to make that wonderful 92 break. A good

start from Mark Selby. Looks a little bit better and he did in the

second session yesterday. It just increases a little bit more pressure

on Cairo and Wilson now. -- on Kyren Wilson now. Look at the Mark Selby's

face. He wants to get this over with as quickly as possible and get ready

for the semifinal. There is no substitute for experience here at

the Crucible but there is still a long way to go. You always feel when

your opponents needs to frames, you are in with a shot.

So, Mark Selby breaks off in frame 18. Is the brown going to come to

his rescue? It might have. He has got a very similar pot to what he

had in the last frame. Certainly a little bit of pressure on this,

Dennis, particularly with the red in the baulk area. He tends to punch

these in which means he has to be even more accurate. He could do with

this one. No, just jumping and straightaway, unless the yellow

comes to the rescue, he has left one for the corner pocket. The ball

start to bounce around when you strike down on them. That is why you

have got to be so precise. Certainly looking at the red to the left of

the pink passed the yellow, it is very, very tight. Two up from the

black as well, they are a lot more difficult than they. Plenty of room.

A good pot. I know there will be a lot of

patience up at the Northern General Hospital watching the snooker this

morning on the TV set above the beds. That's what I was doing last

Friday and Saturday and I want to take this opportunity to say thank

you to Mr Chapple and the doctors and nurses up there that looked

after me. He did a magnificent job to have me back a commentating so

I'd like to thank them all for that. I had to rush into the Northern

General and have a badly infected appendix out but, yes, sort of back

to normal. It will take a while but great to be back here at the

Crucible. It's good to have you back, Dennis.

Now another blue into the right centre. Interesting to see him go in

and out of baulk with the cue ball. Will he leave the red? This is a

distance sort of pot. So good at putting top on the cue ball and

getting around the back of the green, brown and yellow ball

normally. That is such a tremendous shot. That red at the back will

pocket -- will pot into this pocket. He makes it look easy but the

control is excellent. He would love to get rid of that

weight to be left of the black. He was just eyeing it up there.

The pack is not a great pack to go into from the blue because of the

position of the pink. It is away from the pack.

That's why he is reluctant to go into the pack from the blue. Not

guaranteed there would be one red. He has worked this out nicely,

hasn't he, Dennis? When he put this red, he will split the pack. He will

hope to be on pink or blue. A bit of check side on this so can

he get through to the black? The cue power he generates is fantastic.

This is quite tight. I think he can just see enough of the black. The

red closest to the black is a bit of a distraction but he doesn't look

like missing this morning. Everything is going right. It is all

going in the centre of the pocket and that is always an indication of

how you are cueing. That was a good putt -- pot. We didn't expect him to

take it on because we had a red finish next to the blue and it was a

great finish. A great pot. Still got a bit of work to do here.

There is an interested spectator, a young Damian Taylor, son of my

co-commentator here and a young coach. Coach to many people on the

two here. He was the first face I saw when I recovered from my

operation. He came over. He has worked with many great players.

Steve Webster from the Midlands and Daniel Brooks. Four or five of them.

So that is where you get your golf handicap from? He doesn't help his

dad both. That was a bonus but he had already left the plant. For five

minutes ago he had a glance there so it shows you sometimes how far they

are thinking ahead but he is cueing beautifully this morning. Kyren

can't do anything about this. Should there you see it, 56 ahead.

Another couple of reds and colours and he will be one frame away from a

place in the semifinals. He was runner-up in 2007 two John

Higgins anti-win-macro it in 2014. -- and he won it in 2014.

Yesterday he looked vulnerable in the second session. He managed to

get out of the session 4-4, but how he did it, I don't know. A true test

of a great champion. But today has been a different day completely.

Yes, he is looking like a favourite for this year's World Championship.

But all remaining players are in with a great chance.

He will not be bothered about the red. They wonderful break of 78 from

the world number one, Mark Selby. And he is one more frame away from a

place in the semifinal, leading Kyren Wilson 12-6. Yes, it just has

not been the start Kyren wanted but he can do nothing about the way Mark

Selby is playing. Mark Selby looked very focused from the first shot.

Kyren had half chances. He loves to punch these in, but if you are not

accurate, it is amazing, they are so difficult. These are things years

ago you did not realise was happening because you didn't have

the magnificent slow motion shot. What is happening with the ball

before it gets to the object ball. When you strike down, look at this.

Look how many times the ball bounces before it hits the object ball. And

this was not particularly hard. This is why you have to be so accurate.

Even this shot, to see the ball bouncing around. Look at it hitting

the rubber underneath the cloth. I think the reason the ball bounces so

much these days, the cloth is so thin, very quick. It did not bounce

around as much, if did announce a bit but not so much on the thicker

cloth as we used to play on -- it did bounce a bit.

Back against the wall for Kyren Wilson. He needs all seven remaining

frames if he is going to play in the semifinals of this year's World

Championships. Might just be able to see a enough

of this red. He has walked around to see where he could put the cue ball

and what he would leave if he missed the red. He is cueing so

beautifully. How close will he get? Oh, that kicked. A heavy contact and

the first chance for Kyren here. That is an easy starter but it is

not an Se Ri pack to go into. -- it is not an easy pack. If he cannons

the two reds, misses the loose one and caverns the other two. He has a

terrific cue action and will have to call on it.

He will have to go into the reds again, as we show you the stun shot

into the bunch. He wanted to screw back for the lack

macro. Now it is a tough pink. Wouldn't it be nice if he could not

in a sizeable break here? I showed you the family earlier, his fiancee

in the champions' lounge in the lucky seat. A delightful lady. And

indeed, Kyren is a delightful lad. For me, Ken, I have not seen a great

deal of Kyren. I think this is a future World champion. He has all

the attributes. And most importantly he has the temperament, he has the

bottle. He has shown that already. He will have a big future in the

game. All covering each other, by the

looks of things. What angle has he got? He might have to power this

around two cushions and into the back of the bunch. But look where

the cue ball is going. Can you believe it? When things are not

going well that sort of thing happens. When everything is going

for you, you play that shot, you open them up, you go on to win the

frame will stop not only has the white Conning, he has left a red.

Very unlucky. I hope it is not his last shot. What

a way to go out of the World Championship with an unlucky in-off.

What a good opportunity here for Mark Selby. He got into that too

much. He will have to use the rest. Adrenaline in his back on. -- arm.

Mark Selby will definitely want to win this, he does not want to stay

out there any longer he has two. He wants to try to win this and put

every effort and concentration into winning the and match from this

position. A similar shot to last time. He will

have to play a delicate shot. Try to hold for the pink in the centre or

the black into the corner. He could just about managed to miss

the reds. Played with a lot of check side off the side cushion. That was

an excellent shot. Isn't it amazing? All of a sudden,

Mark would have been thinking, this is a chance to get myself into the

semifinal, and all of those sudden, he misses a sitter of a black.

You can see the ball bouncing around again but it was a nice flick on the

black. Just the one awkward red. That will not come into play because

the frame will be over. I thought this would be a close fought

contest. Who is to know what can happen? A

long way back but you can only play one frame at a time and see what

happens. You can drop in behind this red and

leave the white close to the cushion and have a choice of pockets.

I don't think he was too concerned. He has a frame back. It is an awful

long way back into this match, but, at least he is on the bottom rung of

the ladder. You he -- keep having to pot away.

When he went in-off. He could not have played this better. He played

it well but to hit those balls and go in-off, it looks like it might be

his last shot in this championship, but suddenly, Mark Selby, from

nowhere, he has not looked like this this morning, maybe he had one eye

on the winning line. And also one eye on trying to make a perfect

cannon. Just took his eye off the object ball. It cost him. The last

frame before the mid-session interval. He does not want to be out

there any longer than he should be. He wants to get the match over as

quickly as possible. He does not want to go through on due -- undue

stress and pressure. He has left another red for Kyren

Wilson. He does not act to force it this time, there is a path around

the back of the red and the black. Having said that, I am not quite

sure why he had to hit it that hard. It has turned out to be quite a good

safety shot. Mark is looking to see if he can get the white over the tip

of where the cue is. It looked like a misjudgement from

SatNav Selby. He knows his way around the table so well, but a

misjudgement. He has left another possible long pot into the bottom

corner pocket. He is eyeing up the left-hand corner

pocket. Good shot. An excellent pot.

Beautifully controlled. You will not see a better position shot. The pot

was difficult. The position is superb.

A decent chance, now. He has brought quite a few more reds interplay. We

might just have a mid-session interval. He could not have played

that much better. I know it is early days, but with

four reds and four blacks, it would have crossed his mind. Particularly

with his back against the wall. Nothing to lose. He will try to stay

on the black as long as possible here. Obviously, the frame is more

important, but it is not a bad chance, really. He has been

professional since 2010 and his highest tournament break was 137,

made in 2011. Sometimes when your back is against

the wall, you throw a little bit of caution to the wind. He will try to

stay on the black as long as possible. He has four, five reds out

in the open. There is no reason why he should not try to go for it.

He wants to put the cue ball between the two reds so that he will have a

shot on the black. This is the type of shot where he could try to get on

the pink to the left centre, but if his is -- intention is to stay on

the black. His main concern, and quite rightly so, is taking the

frame. He sacrificed trying to get on the black. He had thought about

it but had second thoughts and thought if I can get on the pink, I

can give myself a chance to take the frame.

Not that far away. 71 to secure the frame. This is exactly the way he

has played throughout the championship, cueing beautifully

again. But maybe as you said the tension, and we were saying his

natural game now. For me, he seems to be the sort of player who can

take his practice game to the big arena. I have been so impressed by

this young player. A quick glance of the scoreboard.

Just to make sure he has passed the winning line in this frame. Just

double-checking he is 76 ahead. Hundred and 41 is the highest break

at this year's championship. He is thinking pretty positive. Barry

Hawkins has made 141. It is nice to see him smiling. He is doing that

simply because the frame is over and he is trying to reckon up how many

he can score. He would have to get onto the black, you would feel.

Mark Selby is called the Jester from Leicester but he was not smiling

now. It was Kyren who was doing all the smiling. He will have to wait

until after the mid-session interval to clinch a place in the semifinal.

That has got the black back on it spot. A couple of reds to the side

of the table, neither of them easy. That will do nicely. A possible 143,

if he takes all blacks with the remaining reds. That is not going to

be easy. ?10,000 for beehive break this year.

-- the high break. That is a magnificent century break.

His 27th this season. I wonder could he beat his highest break, we

mentioned earlier it is 137. If you can drop on this last red, he can

stun off the cushion behind the black and drop 12 inches behind the

red. He has gone further away than he

would have liked. We have had 62 centuries so far this

year. The record is 86. That record could go. Kyren has had four. Can he

beat his own highest break? Command, Kyren, knock this green in.

Reach a little milestone. It would be nice to make your highest break

ever at the Crucible. 143 will take a little bit of

beating. A little thinner than he would have

liked. A little smile there. Don't miss the black now, Kyren.

Absolutely superb. He once the crowd to give him a big round of applause

and they respond. He has kept himself in this years but Fred work

championship with a tournament top break of 143. It is not over just

yet. Excellent stuff from Kyren Wilson, a

break of 143 which goes past the high break of 141. No doubt be

couple of thousand pounds that Kyren Wilson may win if he makes the high

break of the tournament will go towards his wedding, as he is

getting married in six weeks' time, so the family could find a way of

spending that. It looked like Mark Selby wanted to get this over and

done with. Absolutely. Mark Selby will be disappointed that he did not

feel it in the frame before that. It is a long way back. He needs every

frame, Kyren Wilson. Five to go and he needs every one of them but you

never know. As long as you are still out there, you have got to make your

opponent get over that line. Keep putting them under pressure. That

143, magnificent break as it was, will give him by the doors of

confidence. He will be itching to get back out there. We will come

back out to Kyren in just a moment... Oh, we don't have the

graphics. Sorry. Let's get back to Kyren Wilson. Ronnie O'Sullivan says

he could be one of the best players in the world. When you see him make

that break, do you agree with him? I am very impressed with his

break-building and his long potting. I am most impressed by his

temperament, his bottle. Making breaks under pressure. He is not

giving in. A lot of players at 12-6 down the Brady towel in, say its not

my day, but he stuck at it. That takes a lot of bottle and courage

and they are good qualities to have. More important than anything else.

When you see Mark Selby, he looks a much better player now than in the

first two rounds, doesn't he? In fairness to Mark Selby, he said when

he beat his opponent on Saturday night, he struggled to get over the

line. He is meticulous in his planning, isn't he? When you see him

playing as he has done in this match, you have to take back him all

the way, don't you? He played way below his best yesterday and I do

know how he got two for- four. That is the thing about champions. When

they are playing badly, they can eat in and rely on their excellent

safety game, he has excellent safety game and much play snooker. This

tournament is open seven days and you will have some bad sessions but

if you can minimise the damage in those bad questions. That is exactly

what he did yesterday. He played eight frames, played terribly, but

still came out for- four. He is still playing not quite at his best

but much better than he was. Let's turn our attention to John Higgins

who is playing Alan McManus. Let's show you what happened in the first

frame of today's session. Higgins to play.

Well, that will do. Nothing like a good start. Yes, he cued that

lovely. Very positive cueing, that was. The type of shot that if you

decelerate as you are going through, you get a good solid pot full

through -- pull through. He can get on the black for the right corner

pocket. Certainly not at the moment, as he will have to go up the table

for a baulk colour. If he is going to have to keep going

back up and fourth for the baulk colours, he will get tired after a

while. He will have to hit the ball quite hard each time to move the cue

ball. Now then, has he got a possible red that can take him into

the gap with the two reds on the left. I don't think so. A view reds

there but he would like the type of shot that could bring beeping into

play as well. -- that could bring the pink into play as well. In these

types of situations, you would be happy to get the blue on the spot

but that is not an option at the moment, where the blue is. We always

go on about the maximum break. At the moment, he is heading for the

minimum break. Red, yellow, red, yellow. He has overdone this. He is

nothing. A possible red. Possibly to be left corner. He may just have

found a gap to that, but that is the problem when the cue ball is having

to travel distances. It's not always possible to judge the pace. He is

just about on this red. I'm not certain where the colour comes from

our nephew plays a controlled cannon onto the black. He is worried about

the blue. He played the cannon on the black. Where is the black ball

going? That is unlucky. No way he could have envisaged knocking the

black into the pocket. It would have been perfect had it stayed in the

jewels -- the jaws but it just dropped in. Disappointment for John.

An unexpected chance now for Alan McManus. Quite a contrast in the cue

actions of these two players. Alan McManus on the table now has got

quite a long backswing -- back spin on all the shots he place. He moves

a little bit on the shot, lifts his head as he delivers the cue. John

Hopkins -- John Higgins is a lot more solid. He hits with a bit more

power than Alan McManus. You can see his head coming up now. As long as

he puts the Q3 straight, he will be OK. -- VQ through straight.

Now then, it is a little bit tricky around this cushion.

He played to this very confidently. You have got to be accurate with

those. You can't take them for granted. In an ideal world, he'd

have liked to have been straight on this black. It shouldn't cause him a

problem here. He is going to play a little stunned, a little cannon. He

played it well. I didn't see the first session of this match but, as

I say, everybody said that Alan started off like a house on fire.

And then John Higgins came back. You know John Higgins is a tough

competitor. You get nothing easy from him. But this was an unexpected

chance from Alan and I have to say, Terry, at first look this morning,

he looks in good touch. Hitting the ball nicely. Yes, I mentioned to you

care that he had trouble with his neck yesterday when he was playing

and he looked very uncomfortable. He was all right for the first three or

four frames but after that he struggled, even going down on the

table when the balls were set up, trying to loosen himself up. He

looks better this morning. He said he slept badly the night before.

There's money done that -- many done that. Absolutely. You are in a

strange bed and sometimes you are that tired that you just fall asleep

in a funny position. That was just about OK. No doubt he

played on this thread but if he'd run past the red is closest to, that

would have been a bit more difficult.

Still in nice control. And this black will put him 50 points in

front with 59 remaining. So this black, one more red and a colour and

it should be framed over. And he could not have played that

any better. Just checking the scoreboard. A red and the black will

put him 58 points in front with just 51 remaining.

So, well played Alan McManus, very well played. OK, John Higgins a

little unlucky when he parted the red. He overran his position on his

attended -- intended red. Their play to Alan, he has taken this well. At

red going in means there will be no return to the table for John

Higgins. 59 point the lead, just 43 remaining now. Another excellent

shot, just a bit unfortunate it didn't catch the red he was planning

to cannon into, the one just below the pink. Needs a good pink -- pot

to make any chance of his second century of the match. That was a

very impressive start this morning from Alan McManus. OK, you have got

to stay John Higgins was unlucky when he knocked the black in but

you've got to take advantage and Alan McManus did that. An excellent

break of 68. He is now within one. 5-4, John Higgins.

And you can continue watching the battle of the Scottish veterans on

the red button. We will turn our attention back to Kyren Wilson. What

will Kyren be thinking now? He will be itching to get back out. The

short to get it into the centre. He will take the blue or the green

here. If he can somehow get on one of

these reds that are out in the open. He is probably thinking a couple of

shots down the road, if he can get onto it, the black will be

available. He doesn't have to worry about that now. That will do.

could possibly win this match with blues and pinks.

Absolutely spot on. Having the cue ball clean here. I don't think he

got heavy contact but he asked Colin Humphreys just to clean the cue
