14 games, 45 goals. Cheers, some tears and all the drama we have

come to expect. There is nothing quite like Scottish Cup Fourth

Round day. We will cram all the Saturday action into the next 80

minutes with the help of Pat Nevin and the man who scored one of the

goals which took Hearts to Cup glory in 1998. Who, even in his

40th year, more streamlined, was in Cup action today for Cowdenbeath.

Colin Cameron is with us. The William Hill Scottish Cup is

special. So say all of us! oldest.. The oldest. The Oldest.

Football trophy. Football trophy. In the world! You've given us drama.

Upsets. Goals! Go on, have a go!. Hope. Glory. It is! Achievement.

They've done it again. Upset. calligoalisitic. Glory. Strike.

Cup. The Cup. The Cup. It will be ours again. It is a bit special.

Cup romance was in the Airdrie at Tynecastle. Breaks hearts was the

plan for Ayrshire Junior team. Hearts were winners six years ago.

They beat great in a in a penalty shoot-out. They were the title

front runners that season. With the man gearal upheaval split the Old

Firm. Auchinleck Talbot are a record-breaking nine times winners

of the Junior Cup. The town population took the trip to

Tynecastle with success in another Cup on their minds. Hearts against

Cup on their minds. Hearts against Auchinleck. This is a momentous and

historic day in the history of Auchinleck Talbot. Giants of the

junior game with nine Scottish Cup wins. This is their second campaign

in the senior version. The biggest match they have ever played. The

first time they encountered SPL opposition. There are eight changes

from the side that beat Hibs. It's one as they aim to frustrate Hearts.

The Auchinleck goalkeeper was in the scoresheet victory over Raith

Rovers a repeat of that would be nice. He would settle for a clean

sheet, I'm sure, this afternoon. They get under way. A huge match in

defence. Danny Grainger working it away. Just the start that

Auchinleck would have wanted, a few touches on the ball. Looking for

the biggest result of his career, no doubt. He keeps the ball in play

on this occasion. Good covering at the back by Auchinleck. Giving

easily there. Looking for the penalty kick. A blot on Driver's

copy book. He got hold of the Auchinleck jersey there. He throws

himself to the ground. The light on the far corner have gone out,

rather. This could be promising for Hearts. He's done well. A great

Driver. First real scare for Auchinleck. Here they go at the

of pulling down the Hearts winger. Pope misjudged the flight of the

between the legs as well. Gordon Pope booked for the challenge. A

chance for the young Hearts player Fraser Mullin. Phenomenon stuff

from the goalkeeper. -- phenomenonal stuff from the

goalkeeper. Mullin thought he would mark his debut with a goal but the

keeper was esquall to it. Can Talbot withstand the pressure?

Incredible stuff. It looked like Auchinleck Talbot had spoiled their

excellent start to the match. Andrew Leishman keeps them on level

Novikovas goes down again. The referee says only a corner kick.

Skacel is not happy. He might have gone down there Novikovas. That

looks like another penalty. The challenge comes across. There is

nothing on the ball there from Ricky Robb. Novikovas can consider

himself unfortunate. Hearts still have a chance. Webster, well off

target. Sergio is not entirely happen, I would imagine, with the

way his side have started. Skacel could be in here. Two defenders to

beat. Can he score? Good save by Leishman. Skacel found the room.

Andrew Leishman is rapidly earning hero status. Skacel came inside, a

deflection there as well. Which didn't make it any easier for the

goalkeeper. A terrific save from Andrew Leishman. Milliken wins the

header. A great chance for Faulds. He just couldn't make the

connection. Talbot have it back once more. Milliken. He passes up a

golden opportunity. He might not get a better one than that. It

broke kindly for Kyle Milliken. He just couldn't get the purchase on

the shot. There's Novikovas going in. Some more terrific defending,

this time from Ricky Robb. Skacel got away from his man to find

Novikovas. Robb was in the right place to clear the danger. Hearts

A scramble in the box. Toward his own-goal there by Latta. Relief

that that ended up over the bar. It could have gone anywhere. It was

very scrappy. Driving into the box. Again, good defending. As soon as

he gets inside the box the Auchinleck Talbot defenders have to

be really aware of his tricky feet. They have done well so far. Here's

Black, again with the corner kick. It's met by Darren Barr. It looks

like a head knock for Darren Barr. He has come off second best. He won

the header, got right into the back of the Talbot defender. That is a

really hefty knock. Hearts doctor signalling there is no way Darren

Barr can continue. Well, the stadium rises, as Darren Barr is

carried off on a stretcher much applause too from the Auchinleck

Templeton, who dances past the challenge, and surely Rudi Skacel,

and a brilliant save a from Andy Leishman, who denies Hearts what

looks like a certain goal for the put Simon the match. You would put

money on the the Skacel to score from there. Andy Leishman stood up

so well. And it is out for a corner kick. What a game he is having, and

having the most incredible match, Andy Leishman. Rudi Skacel blasted

it, and the goalkeeper was equal to Hearts have the opening goal, at

long last. That was a mixed up between Andrew Richman -- Leishman,

who has had such a great game, that is very harsh on Auchinleck. Smith

with audit into the goal, with Andy Leishman lying on the deck. --

Leishman stands up to the shot from David Templeton. That is a

up. It was Ricky Robb who knocked it forward. That is incredibly

tight. Can Talbot get it for what? One final chance. The answer is No.

It has been a glorious performance from Auchinleck Talbot, acrid it to

that man, Tommy Sloan, eventually Gordon Smith grabbed the winning

goal, after a mix-up between Andy Leishman and Bryan Slaven. Knocking

into the empty net. The only blot on this man's copybook. He played a

marvellous game and the night Hearts on numerous occasions. A

penalty save and the first half. The man who gave away the penalty

had a goal chalked off in stoppage time for offside. But it finished

at Tynecastle, Hearts 1, Auchinleck His relief the main feeling you

have after that victory? It was a very close match, and perhaps

Auchinleck eat your a tougher game than you anticipated. It was not a

close match. It was 90 minutes of Hearts attacking. When you are

doing that, you know no regrets. You're not expecting -- you are

expecting that at any moment, you can score. Tommy, I can only

imagine you are incredibly proud of the players after an incredible

performance this afternoon. I am coming to expect that from this

group of players. They have got a great spirit about them and their

effort was first class. Did you think at one stage you were win to

should have equalised. Should have gone for the far post, went for the

near post. It was played through to him, and he flashed it behind. Good

header away by Michael Hart. Good perseverance from Cowdenbeath. And

And Thomas Flynn was racing back. Mark Brown was hurt, as he went

victory as Hibernian boss. Colin Cameron will be delighted by the

finds need something to be excited about going forward, but if you can

get Leigh Griffiths and Eoin Doyle working together as a partnership,

and they have got Garry O'Connor to come in as well, but that gives

them some confidence. I wish I had a player like that in the game

because I've built and he looks like a natural goalscorer. He picks

up a great position. And after he has the shot, he is the first to

react, and he takes the ball well - - he takes the goal will. They did

not lie down and die. This was a tough one to defend against. It was

a great finish. Great ball in and great header. There is no movement

that was from my point of view, criticising our players, and it is

hard after they played so well today, against a Premier League

Division Airdrie United against 2010 Cup winners Dundee United had

the potential to raise eyebrows. As Jonathan Sutherland reports, the

underdogs had a good warm-up victory in the last round. In the

last round of the Scottish Cup Airdrie United thrashed Gala

Fairydean, 11-0. But at totally different prospects in the 4th

round. Dundee United, the 2010 Scottish Cup winners, the visitors

to the Excelsior Stadium. And not for the first time this season they

have been here, because they came to the plastic pitch on League Cup

business and beat here the United, too-0. -- Airdrie United. What is

the score going to be today? Ashore for Airdrie? It is going to be 5-1,

2 Airdrie. You cannot take away from them what happened in the last

round. I am loving the trainers. Brilliantly choreographed. World in

his team, world-famous manufacturer making these shoes specifically for

us. This is what all Dundee United fans want to have. Is this a

potential shock? I don't been so, I am going 42-1, Jon Daly and Johnny

inside the exile Stadium. And it was Stevenson who hits the bar from

a corner kick. But, with just over a quarter of an hour played, John

Rankin made it 1-0-the SPL side. And, just before half time, a great

move from Dundee United, with Gary Mackay-Steven down the left,

think we deserved to lose by that much, but Dundee United were

clinical and took their chances, and Airdrie did not. Dundee United

performance was great for the team. I am just happy to get a few goals

and help us on our way. We have hit the bar at 0-0. We have come up

got. The biggest thing was getting through. We have to get Airdrie

credit for the first half performance. With that goal was all

failing to live up to his billing as David Goodwillie's replacement.

back. That is difficult. What chance Dundee had to win the game

with the penalty. We spoke about this before the game. Because

Kilmarnock like to play-the-ball out from the back this is where

they are found out. If you look at it there. As soon as you throw it

out there is a Dundee player in his face. Rushes the past and gives it

When Scot Vernon put one in on the half hour mark it settled their

other clubs looking at you. If Rangers want him, come and speak to

me and make an offer. Chances were few and far between in this

you aren't a striker. You have got to make defenders and goalkeepers

make mistakes. The striker will be pleased with that because it looks

like an easy tap-in, but he has put pressure on them and that was what

created it. Peter should just have let the defender deal with it. But

because he came out, it gives Paul McManus and nice, easy tap-ins.

Francisco Sandaza got his 12th goal, at a crucial time for the Perth

side, and it is goal poaching like this that has Rangers casting there

I over him. I have seen better goals from them, but he has got a

bit of vision about him, he is a clever player with some

intelligence. He night -- he might not be the quickest, he would do

very well, playing for Rangers, I am sure about that. Steve Lomas

sounds like he might take a bit of negotiating with. And so we should.

If a player like Francisco Sandaza or Leeds in Johnson, they all want

to get some money in to replace him, because he will not be easy to

replace. The action has been fast and furious in the last 20 minutes.
