Good afternoon. Welcome to the results show. Looking for the

the country. Anyone for headlines? We can start at Ibrox, Rangers at

home to Ross County. No Joey Barton as he was told to stay away. No Liam

Boyce for County. We can go to McDiarmid Park. 1-0 St Johnstone in

the Perth sunshine, Cummins prodded past Hamilton, Hearts dominant but

1-0. And Fir Park? Plenty of goals? Yes, Motherwell 4-2. And one name

has dominated proceedings, Moult, first start of the season, four

goals, low finishes, header, penalty. Crawford has two for

Hamilton to stop his side falling adrift. The next is going to be

crucial. And we can go to Kilmarnock. Partick Thistle looking

to avoid five defeats in a row, four in the league, Boyd opened the

scoring. Stevie Lawless equalised, but Coulibaly put Killie 2-1 up. The

hero of the Killie fans. Brian is my hero. He is at Easter Road.

Cummings put Hibs in front but Balatoni has equalised. We can get

some more detail. Yes. Cummins with the goal, against the run of play,

some fabulous saves from Nicholson, and as I am talking, Robbie Newson

has been sent to the stand. I will give you more news about what has

straight wins, not won here on league business since November 2000

Until today, Motherwell hadn't won since the opening day, low poked

effort, header to the back post then another nice finish. But then,

Hamilton getting back into it. Brilliant curved shot, 3-1 at

confidently. But then, Crawford for Hamilton. It was a lovely way to

remarkable turnaround. Hibs had led through Cummings, it was a

magnificent shot, looked as though it would open up. But then, sending

off for Bartley on Adams. And since then, Ayr have come back. Balatoni

equalisers, and then Gilmour, from just six yards, slots home. Ayr,

2-1. Hibs have won the opening five games. Never won their opening six.

It looked as though that was going to be on, not now. And details, of

the Ayrshire rivals, Killie at home to Partick Thistle. Leading 2-1. You

talk about continuity, that has been a problem but Lee Clark has selected

the same starting line-up for the second week. Kris Boyd, getting on

the scoresheet, good control, it looked as though he had lost the

ball, but back of the net and after that Erskine went close. Doolan had

a shot blocked away by McDonald. 32 minutes, Stevie Lawless got Thistle

back on level terms. Lovely touch and turn to pull the Glasgow side

back on level terms. Coulibaly had that acrobatic effort last week,

causing more problems, alongside Kris Boyd and after 65 minutes, he

found the back of the net, header, jumping above everybody to get on

the end of the cross. We have played 79 minutes. Plenty of goals but not

at Ibrox! 0-0! Rangers, 13 shots, County three. County's Twitter feed

said the bus leaves Ibrox at 10am! I have taken a look at the statistics,

Rangers bossing the game... No Joey Barton. Holt and Halliday in

midfield with Windass. High tempo. But supporters would be expecting to

win this? At home, against Ross County, after last weekend and all

the controversy, they wanted some resounding success. It is not

happening at the moment. They are not going to be happy. This happened

last season, Rangers would have possession, not take chances, one of

the failings of last season's team. I think Rangers have actually

regressed with some of the summer recruitment, the Barton issue, it

has been difficult to handle. The manager has to have the respect and

authority of the squad, but... Will he be back, Barton? Obviously, he's

going to be back on Monday. Will he? Yesterday he gave that radio

interview, an authorised by the clock, I think it is a difficult

situation but the manager has got to have control of the dressing room so

I think it is unlikely that he is going to have a future at Rangers.

But he has the two year contract. I just cannot understand, how this has

been allowed to happen. I know that social media, we have listened to

him so many times but I cannot see readers allowing that to happen.

Joey won't stop. Imagine telling him you cannot do social media. I think

Mark Warburton, it is huge for him, defining. I know that he wants a

positive environment at the dressing room. If that has deteriorated he

needs to sort it out. He should also be saying, this is Rangers, almost

like Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United. But if he does

not get this right, he could be undermined. Big moment for Partick

without too many goals, St Johnstone and Hearts. This could be huge, but

going to St Johnstone, it is so difficult to defeat them at the

disappointment. They have been going so well. Lots of chances? Zander

Clarke in goals. He has made some excellent saves. Opportunities from

the first half. And just at the point when St Johnstone scored, I

thought that Hearts were on top, getting chances, but St Johnstone

Hearts twice recently, and they have been doing this, finding the way to

win, wouldn't rule them out. But Robbie Neilson now watching from the

And Tommy Wright had said that Hearts maximise simulation. I

thought that he was fouled. As soon as you stick out a leg, I was

listening to the radio, talking about the situation, from last week,

man of the moment at Motherwell, Moult, scored four then substituted?

Mark McGhee said it was his first start and would get an hour. Even

though he has got four goals, Mark McGhee has got to look at the bigger

picture because last season Moult, his goals and Scott Quigg Donald,

the Motherwell to the top six. -- Scott McDonald. It is crucial. He

lost Johnson, coming back for his first game, four goals, going to be

happy tonight. And Crawford scored two crackers but overshadowed?

Hamilton's top scorer, I think he has rediscovered his form. And those

goals today, right and left foot, expelled finishes, we have been

watching and Hamilton have not given even at 4-1, 3-0. That have just

kick going. That says a lot about the character. Not going to accept

that schooling. It has been entertaining. And plenty of

entertainment Last year Partick Thistle won the

game handsomely. Different this year. It's a big game and Kilmarnock

was one of the favourites to be bottom. 17 signings they've made.

Yeah, quite incredible. But you know, by going in at the back, is he

on loan? That's a good bit of business, because he needed that

consolidation at the back. A good signing for them. They're doing OK.

It's going to be a fight down the bottom no matter what. Thistle down,

there this is a big result today. Kilmarnock was predictively down

there going well. Looks like a fight at the top of the championship as

well. We thought it was going to be a procession for Hibs. They were

going for their sixth win on the spin, their best ever start to a

season. They're 2-1 down to Ayr United. Queen of the South, 3-0 at

home to Raith Rovers. They will go top. I don't think it was Queen of

the South expecting to challenge Hibs. We thought Dundee United,

range Rovers and Falkirk would have continued their form from last

season. Queen of the south did this two years ago. They had a tremendous

run of form under Jamie Fowler. Maybe the change of management has

been enough to kickstart something there. Two goals again today.

Stephen Dobie has scored at the highest level. He could probably

play in the top flight in Scotland comfortably. He's gone back to a

club he knows well. He's responded to that. He's a very good player.

It's a blow for Hibs today, not only because they were on a good run.

Marvin Bartley has been sent off. That will disrupt the flow of the

team. Neil will not be happy that the team surrendered. It's a

challenge for them. I don't think the championship will be countered

by them. There's enough competitiveness in that team.

Dunbarton 1 st, mirn 1. St Mirren haven't won. This was a big result

for St Mirren. They'll be hoping to get something and take the pressure

off the manager. You don't like to see St Mirren as a team playing in

the top flight down at the bottom of the division below. Plenty of drama

still this afternoon to come, I believe. Something has happened at

He was booked after 85 minutes for hauling back Rory McKensey as he

Hamilton met at Fir Park there were six goals. 3-3 that day. Today a 4

4-2. Hamilton peppered the Motherwell goal with headers and

shots that were cleared off the line or saved. They couldn't get the

crucial third to bring them straight back into the match. Moult has given

a fist up to the crowd in celebration. The key man here.

The man of the moment at mother well. Given the departure of Marvin

Johnson he will be crucial for them. He already proved that he was last

season in his partnership with Scott McDonald was so vital to them. Other

players are stepping up. Ryan Bowman has played a real part in this game

today. He could have had a goal today. There was a slight argument,

disagreement over who was taking the penalty. He was the player brought

down. He stepped up to the take it. Then Louis Moult said, I'm on this

one. He scored a penalty last week as well. Definitely his duty. I

believe it's fulltime imminent, no it's not, I was going to say it is

at Rugby Park, but it's not. Hamilton, losing 4-2 today and two

goals from Crawford. He's their talisman. Even when he's scoring

they've gone down to defeat. Just winning one match this season.

They're at the bottom. That's probably them, I don't necessity

where it will be in the league. Third bottomment Not easy. Also a

derby, you want to win the derby to give you confidence and that. What

Ally Crawford will score goals again. The defensive side of the

game, I always feel as a goalkeeper, if you have a good unit there, you

can nick games, you have a chance. It's going to be tough enough season

for them. St Johnstone goalkeeper has had a clean sheet this

afternoon. His side winning 1-0 at home to hearts. We can see fulltime

scenes there. There he is. He will be a happy man this evening. We can

get the details now. Hearts have passed up the chance to go top of

the table this evening 1-0 to St Johnstone. A very competitive match,

but dominated by Hearts. Graham Cummings prodded past Hamilton just

before the hour mark totally against the run of play. Hearts completely

dominant till that point. Clarke in the goal was in sensational form all

afternoon. Great one-handed, close-range saves from Nichol son in

particular. It just wouldn't fall for them. Patterson headed against

the bar. The build up to this game dominated by Tommy Wright saying

Hearts players go to ground too easily. He was looking sheepish when

his midfielder Michael Koulson was booked for diving early on. The

manager sent to the stand late on, we will find out what that is all

about. Hearts dismall form in the league continues. They haven't won

here since 2010. Fulltime, it finished St Johnstone #1, Hearts 0.

Defeat for Hearts, also defeat for Hibernian, this afternoon. They were

at home to Ayr United in the championship. We can have the

fulltime report now. It finished 2-1. A remarkable crowd in front of

15,000 here at Easter road, all of them looking for record breaking

Hibernian sixth win out of six in the league, a record held since

19146/47 season. Cummings opened the score and they looked on course for

the seven out seven winners. A magnificent, left foot, curling

shot. He's score the in all six games this season. The pivotal point

in the game was mid-way through the first half. A red card was shown to

Bartley by the referee for a challenge on Jamie Adams. The whole

contrast of the game completely changed. Ayr players began to

believe. Conrad Balitone equalised with a stunning header. That gave

could leave here with all three points. With ten minutes left they

scored the winning goal. A wonderful run down the right side into the

box. Gilmour slid the ball into the back of the net. Not too bane boos

still ongoing at Ibrox. It's 0-0. We're into stoppage time. There it's

fulltime at Rugby Park. Kilmarnock against Partick Thistle. Let's hear

from John Barnes. A point apiece here this afternoon. Kilmarnock 2,

Partick Thistle 2. A terrific left foot strike into the bottom right

hand corner of the net. Stephen Lawless levelled thing up with

terrific touch and turn. On his right foot he fired past McDonald to

level things in the first half. In the second period Kilmarnock went in

front. This time a header at the back post after a deep cross from

the right. It looked at that stage as though Kilmarnock were in the

ascendency. Then Liam Lindsay popped up at the back post and blasted home

to level it at 2-2. The drama wasn't over then. Osman was sent off for a

second yellow card two minutes from the end. That means Kilmarnock have

picked up one win in seven. For Partick Thistle no wins in five, but

it stops the rot of four straight defeats.

In those pictures we saw Kris Boyd and Culibale, that is a fearsome

forward line. Looks as though that will stand them in good stead. And

no overhead kick. He tried one. He had that fantastic somersault when

he scored, which is fantastic. You'd never have been able to do that.

Norchlts! -- No! I would have chased after him. He's strong and he's good

balance to his game and that. He scores goals, yeah. Kris Boyd big

and strong again. We watched the goal here, he was up against three,

four defenders, able to hold them off. That's where he wants the ball

in that airate pitch. He's going quite -- that area of the pitch.

They will be pleased with that result compared to last year where

they didn't really perform down there. They'll be happeny enough.

That keeps their run going a bit too, without getting beat at home,

crucial. Ross County supporters will be happy with the fulltime score

line from Ibrox, because it has finished there Rangers 0, Ross

County 0. Richard, that's Rangers third draw. They've won just two

matches in the opening games. Not the most inspiring of starts. No,

they've struggled a bit this season. I think even Mark Warburton would

acknowledge that the summer signings have come in and haven't quite

fitted the system the way he likes to play. Rangers play with a high

press, a lot of pace and tempo in the team. The players coming in have

slowed that down. Rangers have lost some of the identity they built up

last season, lost their confidence a bit in front of goal. I think why

that's such a set back today is not so much the result last week when

they lost heavily in the Old Firm game, but they're away to Aberdeen

in the league, then Partick Thistle, then Inverness and Hearts. This is a

tough period. At home in front of your own crowd not scoring a goal,

drawing the game, I think, it's going to be tough. I said at the

start of the season, I thought this year Rangers needed to settle into

the league. They've been out of it for so long, coming back up. The I

know the perception of the fans, they should be up there challenging

Celtic. I don't think that should be the case. I think this year they've

got to settle in. Obviously, being in the top six, of course. If

they're out of that, that would be a disaster all together. Be in there,

maybe in third, fourth place and settle themselves down and then

build on that. I don't think they're looking at events last week, I don't

think they should be up there in any way challenging Celtic at the

moment. Queen of the South are at the top of the championship. Let's

find out details of their match today. 3-1 at home to Raith Rovers.

Stephen Dobey proved the difference with a second half double to

kickstart the win. The striker proving a talisman with his return

to the club. He fired them in front early in the second half. He raced

to a through ball from Anderson to calmly slot it into the net. He

added a second 15 minutes later. Curling a delightful strike into the

net from 20 yards. Dean Brotherton put the result beyond doubt. But a

bullet header from the corner was just a consolation for Raith Rovers

at the end. Let's head to Dunbarton then in the

championship. At home to St Mirren this afternoon. It finished 1-1.

Dunbarton might feel they should have had all three points here. The

home side opening the score after 15 minutes. Stirling found the back of

the net with his right foot. It took Saints till just before halftime to

reply. Ryan Hardy was there to nod home. In the second half, Dumbarton

were unlucky through Robert Thompson, who was the stand-out

player for the home side. His best chance coming on the hour. A great

New leaders, Queen of the South. Hibs knocked off. St Mirren stay

First win. It was a good day for St Johnstone, and the manager Tommy

Wright. Hard fought? I have said to the new Wales, that we can get

results, with quality goalkeeping, the new Wales, that we can get

the desire not to let the ball go in the net. Odd bit of quality.

Probably not enough. But hard fought win. Perfect. Clean sheet. And

perfect for the goalkeeper, what an afternoon for Zander Clarke? I have

said before, that I have got two number ones. That is rare. Over the

last six months, Zander has improved. The work he gets, the

experience, and I don't think there is a better young goalkeeper in

Scotland. Gordon Strachan was here today. He can only go away

impressed. Certainly something that should be closing in on that score.

You mentioned the fact that your seem more than capable getting those

results, the will to win is incredible? We have got it in a

bottle. How we get it? Good people, staff, attitude. Work hard. And it

is a good dressing room. No egos. Everybody, equal. They would die for

each other. Tommy Wright, praising Zander Clarke. Absolutely. All the

defenders like clean sheets. Today, it looked as though they had got

absolutely pummelled, but the goalkeeper produced some heroics. He

has done well. And when you have a manager that is also former

goalkeeper, giving you that praise, there's going to be on a high. And

Dave Mackay has sadly had to retire. But touching tribute today? When

they scored they grabbed a jersey with his name. The camera panned to

him and he actually looked embarrassed, but that is the sort of

person that he is, low key, led them to the Scottish Cup and we spoke

about that almost meeting the decision easier, because he has had

that moment. Looking to move into coaching. Still one match that is

going to be played at the Scottish Championship, between Falkirk and

Dundee United. 5.15. Evening. This was always going to be important for

two of the teams with hopes of promotion, but after that result at

Easter Road this afternoon it is a crucial challenge for them to take

advantage and try to close the gap. The Dundee United manager has been

satisfied with his recent performances, winning at Dunfermline

and just one change to that team. That is after Dickson was sent off.

Robson takes over. Falkirk also won at Fife last weekend. 2-1. Peter

Houston keeps faith, his first game in charge against his former club.

Both of those teams, going into this after a shaky start? But good recent

form? I think they are going to see the importance of winning this,

closing the gap on Hibs. It was always going to be difficult for

Falkirk, it was almost exceptional season, in terms of the consistency

but for Dundee and dated, it is a rebuilding job. -- United. He has

got to start building consistency, if they are going to challenge. They

need to go back up. The competition, building at the Championship. We are

going to go back to Perth. Robbie Neilson. I would assume, you are

scratching your head, wondering how you have lost? That is football. I

have spoken to the players, and we had some fantastic chances, didn't

take them. But some things you have got to accept that, I would rather

play like that than go direct. It was dominant? We played well, but

that is football. We are hungry and energetic. Robbie there. Cut off. He

mentioned that he has got an energetic team. Seven Scots in the

line up. That could surprise people, after having so many foreign

players. They have got Mickelson, Tony Watt, and he is going to get

the reward. They have treated so many chances, but not converting,
