so well in the game. Very

disciplined against the balls. They

terms of a goal, they've gone six

to call it off. It is almost like a

pitch inspection, we have had one

and we wait a bit longer. Fans need

to have a firm idea in their head.

I

spoke to the council yesterday. They

have until tomorrow to get this

safety certificate.

Theoretically

that is great but in the real world,

the fans have to have some certainty

before they can plan and make an

idea of how to get through Edinburgh

for the Partick Thistle supporters

and even the Hearts fans. There are

fan clubs that come up from

Manchester and London and it is

difficult for them.

It is difficult

for Hearts. They are in a sticky

situation. They should now make a

firm position and not leave it

hanging. The fans are the ones to

suffer ultimately. They are forced

to wait until they are en route.

That could be how it is tomorrow.

The fans are always the ones that

suffer, especially the travelling

once and Partick Thistle just want a

decision. They might not be happy if

they're not go to play for over a

month. Often it is the weather that

cancelled the games but it is a

safety certificate. Only in

Scotland.

against Hibernian. They are hoping

to see this out.

They have played

pretty well. They had the better

chances. We were talking about it, a

couple of chances that they passed

up and you are thinking it is going

to be another one of those games

when they have not managed to score

but they have played a lot better

today. Plenty of bodies into the

final third. They have managed to

get the ball in the back of the net

from Murray Davidson but I think

Marciano has not particularly

covered himself in glory.

Aberdeen have only lost three games

in domestic football this season and

two of them have come against

Motherwell and particularly that man

Louis Mould who got the decisive

goals. They tried to sign him in the

summer of course. He headed his team

in front in acres of space from a

free kick from Richard Tait. Derek

McInnes will be tearing his hair out

with the space that he was given.

Then a terrific second goal, a great

ball to the near post and rifled in

by Louis Mould. He has 14 goals this

season, 50 in total for Motherwell

now and after Aberdeen lost the

first goal, they rarely looked

capable of finding a way back into

the match. They are now six points

adrift of Celtic at the top of the

table. Significantly for Motherwell,

who lost 7-2 at Pittodrie in

February, they now have 22 points

going into a triple header against

Celtic because they face them in the

League Cup final next weekend and

also have back-to-back league games

against them on the back of that.

The perfect way for them to go into

that tough schedule. It has finished

2-0.

A great win for Motherwell. And

a great boost for them ahead of that

cup final.

Absolutely. Just what

Motherwell would have wanted going

into that game. It can go both ways

because you can play these games and

people protect themselves from

trying to get in the team but it was

comfortable as well you have to say.

It is the movement for the second

goal and the finish, there is a lot

to do and he gets it on the half

volley. It is where he is mentally,

Louis Mould, he is at the top of his

game.

sparked some movement, he got the

today! It was straightforward for

the home team, championship against

junior side and a classic Scottish

Cup performance but Glenafton more

than matched them for a lot of the

match but it was the cutting edge

that came from Dylan MacKin. The

second was a header into the bottom

corner, again from the delivery from

Josh Malone. It has been a good

journey for Glenafton in the

Scottish Cup and they can go out

with their heads held high.

Sensational scenes here and it is

St. Johnstone who are celebrating!

Surely it is a late winner, Steven

MacLean will not care about the

yellow card because it has a tap in

on the rebound. Michael O'Halloran

fired it across goal, the initial

shot was saved by Marciano but there

was Steven MacLean to tap in and

surely give his team the points.

They had not scored in six, they now

have two in the second half and they

are winning 2-1.

They are still

playing. Queen's Park against

Dunfermline in the cup.

4-1 to Dunfermline. The opening

stages belong to Queen's Park with

James MacLennan denied by a save

from Sean Murdoch. David Galt hit

the woodwork but all the good work

nodding home from close range. They

doubled their lead just before the

hour, Jason Tolbert with a

piledriver which gave the keeper no

Ryan came on and he side footed home

ease the pressure. The icing on the

cake came from Declan McManus with a

quality strike from the edge of the

men in the box and it was evident

with the winner. It must have been

so disappointing to be set back.

box again. It is a decent save but

MacLean fires it in. It is a big

result for St. Johnstone, they have

not been scoring and you could see

the release when they got the first

goal and they started playing. Three

out of the top four getting beaten

today and some surprises.

Hibs had

been in a good rhythm going into in

the international break.

There is a

doubt that they are in a good

position. They will be massively

disappointed with that result today.

I think this is more about, Hibs did

not hit the heights, but more about

the determination of St. Johnstone.

They got pegged back in the last

minute but they showed belief to get

bodies in the final third and get

the gold with almost the last kick.

knocked it in from the yard after

the shot from Liam Byrne it came

stands out for me.

We never spoke

about Celtic winning 1-0 away to

Ross County, going ahead at the top

for, the only one in the top four to

win. They are relentless.

I don't

mean they wouldn't go there and beat

Ross County, it was the other teams

dropping points. It was a good day

for Celtic, especially going into

the Champions League fixture. They

got the job done. They move forward
