This could be something quite sensational. Right out of the top

is history. Weekend four of the Premiership

season and finally we've 6pm, Sunday nights,

BBC Two Scotland, the new regular With us tonight - before

we take a breather for the international break -

Steven Thompson and Michael Stewart. No doubt about the game

of the weekend. The sides who'd finished first

and second in both of the last two 22 straight league defeats

for Aberdeen in the east end COMMENTATOR: Is that the goal which

gives Aberdeen the win against Celtic? Griffiths. They cannot seem

to topple the champions in Glasgow. That is about the strongest Celtic

line-up you will see, despite the exertions. Derek McInnes as spent

for Aberdeen at Celtic Park. It is a horrendous record. Two wins since

1993 here. In the top-flight. The goalkeeper was beaten all ends

up. What I hit that was. James Forrest is a man reborn this

season. How good was that for Leigh

Griffiths? It is a poignant tribute to Kieran

McDade, the 13-year-old who passed away tragically playing football for

his school team. And this was scored on the 13th minute. A special

moment. Anthony O'Connor looks to be a real

shrewd signing by Derek McInnes. Rooney, one apiece. Amazing! The

debut keeper couldn't keep out Adam Rooney. The poacher supreme, very

much against the run of play, ties things up at Parkhead. The dons have

been so far out of this game. To be on level terms...

A superb finish, and the Celtic league is restored two minutes shy

of the break by James Forrest. Shanked. Celtic will go up at

half-time in the lead and deservedly so. -- Celtic will go off. Last

season's top two. 15 point of a difference between them in the end.

Celtic looking to continue this start to the season.

Celtic have been so much better today than they were in Israel on

Tuesday. They could barely string three or four passes together. Not

that it mattered. Celtic have been streets ahead,

certainly in the first half. The Dons have been better in the second

period. The Aberdeen captain in the absence

of Ryan Jack with an opportunity to level things again, Graeme Shinnie.

He knew exactly what he was doing, the Aberdeen defender, and he gets a

yellow card. Tom Rogic has given Celtic a fresh appearance since

coming off the bench. Didn't quite catch it. He has made

such an impression since arriving from Aston Villa.

Sinclair was giving Logan a hard time. It is a penalty and Reynolds

will be ordered off. If this goes on... A confirmation of the second

yellow sees Reynolds off and this will surely end the match as a

contest, going into the final stages. Sinclair will take this

himself. 3-1! Game over! Scott Sinclair

scores again. Aberdeen are going to have to go

back home and think again. Graeme Shinnie can't believe it, a

free kick for that. Celtic maintaining this 100% start

to their title defence. Roberts takes it and scores it. Aberdeen are

complaining the referee had not blown his whistle, but that is just

applying some serious gloss to the scoreline. A terrific free kick by

Tom Rogic. The Dons are putting their pace. Your map is a difficult

the players because the travel and everything they have put into it. It

gathers emphasis for the final half hour of the game and it was really

good. To end up scoring four goals against a very good side and late

on, it really shows the mental and physical fitness of the players,

that they are relentless at the moment. It has been a near-perfect

start. If we don't lose a goal, it is fine, but if we lose a goal and

have to change and then we changed and I thought we went toe to toe and

gave a very good account of ourselves. We showed that we are a

team who are confident coming here. Until 2-1 when a couple of decisions

went against stores... Leigh Griffiths had an absolute

blockbuster of a goal and a fitting tribute to the 13-year-old fan who

died. An emphatic win. No one in Scotland can live with the attack.

On that evidence, it is hard to disagree. Gower modest lead to say

that. They have everything, pace. You look at Sinclair, Tom -- Tom

Rogic. Griffiths is at the heart of everything. You couldn't get it in

the top corner any more. He has been a drastic. His seventh goal already

this morning. -- this season. -- seventh goal already. A great finish

on this goal. Virtually the same as last week. He favours the outside of

his foot. It is strange, but you have to take your hat off. It only

takes the goalkeeper by surprise. Another player who has a resurgent

under Brendan Rodgers. Any doubts over the Scott Sinclair penalty?

From Aberdeen's perspective, and the manager was disappointed, when you

see here it being flicked on, it is that infamous run from Sinclair,

getting in between the lines of the Aberdeen defence. There is enough

contact when you see the close-up. There is a coming together. When you

are running at such pace, it doesn't take a lot to knock you off your

stride. He did well, got in front of the player. I think it is a penalty.

I can see why he has given it. I don't think it is a penalty. They

have lost balance and fallen over. There wasn't great contact, and any

contact was outside the box. They both fall into the box on the

ground. Out of bounds for me. I don't think it is a penalty. When

you run at that pace, it doesn't take a lot to knock you off your

balance. That was a fair call from the referee. Craig Gordon, usually

respected in Scottish football. Is his time up? Celtic's number one. It

was a big call yesterday and I do feel sorry for Craig Gordon. He has

made one or two high-profile mistakes, but he has also made some

really big saves, as well. Yesterday, we look at Celtic's

build-up play. Brendan Rodgers wants the departed from the back. There is

nothing Craig can do. He doesn't do anything Craig can't do. It is

simple passing. At this minute, Aberdeen didn't work them in terms

of his goalkeeping. If Craig Gordon made this mistake yesterday he would

have been crucified. Aberdeen should have scored. : Tory gets him out of

trouble. Another slack one. If Craig Gordon made 's mistakes, the focus

would be on that. Now that Brendan Rodgers had made that change, I

would be astonished if he reverts back. Who will be in goal for the

Rangers game? Barrister agrees. He has made his decision. Ryan Jack was

missing for them. For me, the fact that Brendan Rodgers has installed a

fear factor at Celtic Park. Teams going there are fearful of the front

four. Was a lot to do with the players picked.

COMMENTATOR: The home side are looking to get back to winning form

following last weekend's defeat at Aberdeen. Outgoing suspended Sean

that beat beat Inverness last Saturday and Robbie Neilson fields

the same starting 11 as he looks for a similar performance.

He should have picked out team-mate. It looks like he was trying to find

the top corner. Did so well to get past Callum Paterson. That would

have been some finish if he had squeezed that into the top corner.

Terrific entertainment, moving from end to end. The

allowed Partick Thistle to get back and get the block in. Sam Nicholson

to take the corner. 15 minutes gone at the ground. Hearts, can they find

the breakthrough? Headed triumphantly. Callum Paterson

just gets so far above Liam Lindsay there. Nobody could get there to

stop it. A wonderful header from Callum Paterson. Robbie Neilson is

keen to keep hold of Callum Paterson.

The keeper knew where that one was going and was able to get across and

turn it behind will Chris Dillon with a shot and again

Jack Hamilton gets down well and gets plenty behind it. Again, a

lovely delicate pass from Steven Lawless.

Their skin is beginning to look in the mood -- Chris Erskine looking in

the mood. Partick Thistle are level. It looked

like Liam Lindsay's had it may well have crossed the line, but that is

definitely over the line, Daniel Divine following up there. The

initial header from Liam Lindsay looked across the line.

Ziggy Gordon was vociferous. The assistant referee signals only for a

throw in. Definitely comes off the arm. You can see why Thistle were

asking the question. Good save, completed clearance by

I thought we created a number of chances in the first. We were

unlucky to go a goal down, but actually got back into a good set

play. We had a lot of good opportunities. Got in good areas. A

lot of possession but we couldn't break them down. We found it

difficult. Eventually got through will stop we've spoken about

possibly changing the shape, but I didn't want to do that. I wanted to

give them opportunities to create something. A last gasp winner. Tale

of two strikers for Hearts. Michael, you have had your doubts over Connor

Sammon. Is that changing? You're correct, I'm not overly convinced,

but if he keeps performing like you did yesterday, he is certainly going

the right way. You see what he was doing yesterday is what you want and

expect from a guy that is going to lead the line. Energetic, putting

defenders under pressure. But not just that, linking up well. We saw

it last week as well, when he linked up well with Don Cowie. Linking up

well, holding it, but then making the movement and giving the guys

that are supporting him options. This man, Tony Watt, I have no

doubts about him. A real success for Hearts since he has joined. A good

foil for Callum salmon. Height keep the pressure on. Great little turn.

-- Connor Sammon. You think the goalkeeper needs to do better. That

slight deflection but passive. You had Robbie talking about maybe

changing the formation, changing the guys up top because they couldn't

break them down. They have options. Massive options. The take-off Sam

Nicholson and Connor Sammon and bring on strikers, they have

options. That contributed to them winning the game. Celtic look ahead

of most of the other sides in the division at this moment. That is

there to say. They beat Hearts at Tynecastle at the start of the

season, but how far away do you feel Hearts are. Tony Watt has got his

first goal. How much of the challenge can the present this

season? There was progress made last season. No doubts, finishing third

in the first season, it will be hard for them to compete at the top end

with Celtic, but they a team that they have expectation level to be up

there challenging. A lot of interesting Callum Paterson. How

important is it they hold onto them? Wigan athletic have been trying to

him. He is important, no doubt. In young Liam Smith varies a

replacement if he were to go. Hearts are in a comfortable position and it

has to be a good feed. They are talking 700,000. You can double that

to even get negotiations started. Chris Erskine looking impressive.

They are creating chances, just not taking them. We watched him last

weekend creating a lot of opportunities. Yesterday, Archie was

talking about the front for being good. They created a lot of chances.

A good opening game, but they are not turning the chances into goals.

week. Murray Davidson drop tabs to make way for Chris Kane. Those of

the two changes from the team beaten by Celtic.

Ross Draper was not picked up and that was a chance. That came off the

head of Anderson. Bursting onto the loose ball was Draper.

Big opportunity, this, for Saint Johnstone. Put off by those bodies

diving in front of them. Are really dangerous ball across

goal. Liam Polworth was entitled to be thinking that someone should have

tried a bit harder to get on the end of it.

Alex Fisher Mr big opportunity there. Ian Varga is pulling the

strings. Smart goalkeeping from Alan Mannus.

Very quickly off his line here when he sensed the danger. Inverness are

the only team so far pointless in the premiership. Nearly one hour

gone, still goalless. That is the breakthrough. Lots of

pace on the delivery and Draper showing real desire to get on the

end of it. Murray Davidson had the opportunity.

Off the bench to make an impact for the Perth team. Should have hit the

target. What a sweet strike! The equaliser

for Saint Johnstone and it is a foster's first goal for his new

team. He might never strike a better one. 1-1. Little bit happier now,

Tommy Wright. Inverness try to edge themselves in

front again, another great save from Alan Mannus. Draper is having a big

say in this match. It was always going to be difficult

here for the substitute, Bowden, to squeeze that at such a tight angle.

-- Boden. Josh Meekings has scored in stoppage time, right at the end

of the match. Not the prettiest goal you will ever see, but Inverness

Caledonian Thistle have their first premiership points of the season and

they have got all three. The longer it goes without a point on the table

the players might get nervy, supporters get nervy. It is great to

get three points. It was been a massive four us, I am delighted,

looking forward to heading off to Aberdeen in a couple of weeks.

Disappointing. We could try to let Inverness back into it after we got

back to one each. But then for the last four minutes, five minutes, we

let them back in the game. A massive victory for Inverness

Caley Thistle and it looked like the players were rallying. They had to

show a reaction after last week's performance and I think there were

rumours there was an meeting with the players this week, without the

manager, the senior players working out what is going wrong but it

seemed to work. The desire and the spirit of the team were back and I

think that is what the result was built on. They also had Alex Fisher

upfront. He put in a real shift upfront. He is a big boy at six foot

three and a good target man to have and he was impressive yesterday and

does well to cut inside and put a shot over the bar but he held the

line well, and this was emblematic of Inverness's performance, winning

tackles, looking hungry to show a reaction from Hope they have been

and Alex Fisher stood out. If you're talking about players not performing

and wanting to get back to basics, this highlights it perfectly,

charging about. I'm not sure Tom has ever charged about as much as that.

He probably runs the same distance, some managers tell you not to run

about like a headless chicken but he is being affected, it forces St

Johnstone back but where are your team-mates to support you? That clip

did epitomise what that game was about and you heard Richie Foran

talking about it, it was more about the energy than the style, you could

argue that was wasting your energy but that was so much running he was

doing that it almost embarrassed the team into following suit. So it was

good? In a perverse way. But you wouldn't have done that. As for St

Johnstone, Tommy Wright disappointed. Lessons were not

learnt from the first set. The first one was a fantastic ball from Tansey

but they don't deal with the second one from Draper. There are two

defeats after what was a bright start to the season.

With three wins from their last four games, Ross County were motoring

along pretty well as they motored down the A9 for their match

season for us County. It didn't take it cleanly. That is a

good effort from Accies, they are breaking well. Accies with just one

win in ten home games. McKinnon makes the run. Just couldn't put it

on target. Nice passing play again from Accies, Imrie at the heart of

it. Still awaiting the breakthrough. Danny Redmond is in. Didn't see the

subject. -- substitute. The fact it was so high in the air, almost

perfectly laid on for Redmond. Brophy looks across, let the chips.

The referee says it is a corner. Credit to the goalkeeper. It is good

from Fox, he had started to celebrate. That is a great ball

across. Matthews with the save. A great chance there for County.

Could be a chance, it is! Dougie Imrie, his first league goal since

he scored against Ross County in February. Brophy has made a

difference, both left and right since he came on, and the ball held

up on the Astroturf, a clever finish from Dougie Imrie. Hamilton Accies

ahead. The header, great save from Matthews. Off the bench for the

fourth time this season, he has played well. Might be in the

starting XI soon. Ross County repelled once more. Redmond on to

Brophy, Brophy accelerates. It's short. Providing good pace and again

afraid to give him a dig. Ross County may win three straight league

games, something they didn't do last season. Hamilton almost gave the

visitors an equaliser. You pray it goes wide and your prayers were

answered. If our performance levels continue to be at that level I have

no doubt we will start winning games, if we continue to work in

that matter. They scored, the keeper has made a great save and we don't

deal with it, we have a chance, we make the wrong decision and Hamilton

punished us. So I can use will. He will be

disappointed with the performance but happy about the league knowledge

we have had that they have not gone on to pick up points, so you see how

important the midfield three of Donati, Doherty and McKinnon, who

walked all over the midfield and over the team of Ross County,

filling in gaps and when you look at the fact that going to that part is

not the easiest, you heard Jim McIntire saying the team didn't get

up to the speed of things quickly enough, and when you face a team

that her up and battered, not giving you a chance to think, that is why

Hamilton have picked up the three points yesterday and those midfield

three or central to that result. I don't know about you but that is not

the easiest place to go. And when you have those guys up and add to it

is difficult. Ross County struggled to get to grips with that game. They

had a decent start to the season but last season it wasn't all there.

They won't want that to creep in this season. Last season they

finished top sex so they were had a successful season. After two wins in

a row, they were scoring goals, looking between. You expect voice to

score every week. The performance level wasn't there, they looked

lacklustre, it wasn't a Ross County performance and I think Jim will be

disappointed. Next up for the champions,

the clash with Rangers Mark Warburton's side began

the weekend top of the table, and they kicked things off on Friday

night away to a Kilmarnock team with Lee Clark has made six changes to

his Kilmarnock side from last week. Jonathan Byrne returned to central

defence. Danny Wilson was injured in the warm up, so Hill has been given

the call-up. Here is Barton. Finding Lee Willis in behind the full-back.

Tried to lob that one in. Jamie MacDonald took it cleanly. There was

a collision there. Rangers fans had the first chance to see Joe Garner,

a new signing on the bench. That was driven in by Frizzell and it looked

to come off the arm. Kevan Clancy has ignored appeals for a penalty.

Kiltie chipping it in, looking for board. Here is Gary Decker! An

impressive start by the home team. The midfielder going close but this

was the incident that Dodo seem to injure himself as he felt and he

will take no further part in the game. That means the new signing,

gardener, will come in to take the applause of Rangers supporters.

Chris Boyd, usually so lethal from that distance, he just didn't get a

proper connection there to turn it beyond Foderingham.

Forrester with a corner. In goes gardener. -- Joe Garner. As he tried

to swing that effort in, Barton was also grounded by Gary Decker. It

looks like a bit of rustling in the penalty spot. Barrie McKay I trying

to thread it through, good interception by Byrne. The route for

Chris Boyd, and Kilmarnock are in front. It is a former Rangers

striker delivering for his present club. We have seen him do this so

often onside and he drilled it beyond Foderingham. Excellent finish

and Kilmarnock are 1-0 to the good. His 101st goal for the club. Nice

little flick by Tavernier. James Tarver near, always adventurous

coming forward but he couldn't provide the finish. It is turned

well away from Boyle, Joe Garner again, no penalty, says the referee.

It looks like Joe Garner made the most of that one. Tavernier, away by

Smith. A challenge there from Hop Shaw, sliding in on McKay. He claims

he got the ball. This is James Tarver near's range. What a strike

that is from the Rangers full-back. His second goal of the season. Jamie

MacDonald tried to get across, he got our hands to it but couldn't

keep it out. An outstanding effort from Tavernier and Rangers are back

on level terms. Charging forward, it's Frizzell, a lunging challenge

from Greg Taylor and a red card. It was a wild tackle from the

Kilmarnock teenager on Joey Barton. He caught with the studs on the

shin. Very dangerous. Will it be Halliday with the free or Tavernier?

It is Tavernier again. An outstanding save eight Jamie

McMahon, up to the task this time. McCague trying to get beyond Hendry.

Touch the wave I Jamie MacDonald. Fine goalkeeping again by the

Kilmarnock number one. I thought we were excellent, when you get down to

a team like Rangers, we have only been pegged back by a world-class

free kick so I thought we were real value at half-time and I thought the

performance was very good. A good point for Kilmarnock, terrible

tackle on Joe we Barton, questions still remain over this Rangers side.

New additions that our Rangers better than last season? I think

they have that players and more options but the chemistry is wrong.

The balance last year was better and I think last year's was a better

team. Does that mean they? Over their recruitment? There have been

better players acquired but that balance has not even sorted so only

balance will tell if recruitment has been a success or not. When they

have spent so much money on Joe Garner upfront, with that's not have

been better Orna Young centre-half with pace. When Mike Warburton went

into the club he was quick to get rid of Garin McGregor, a fast

athletic defender, this is something I spoke about last, full-backs

attacking the ball, a centre-half has to deal with that. This is how

it should be, Rob Kidd gets dropped due to the ball, Tavernier is in no

man's land and Kris Boyd should have scored. You can see he was furious

and Kiltie here runs past Joey Barton as if he's not here, the

timing of this run is textbook, finishing for his 250th goal but his

biggest concern me is Chris Boyd running away from your centre

halves. You could imagine Kiltie driving past midfield, it could be a

Forest or a Sinclair and that is what he lives off, that space in

behind and these are the things Rangers will have to combat and

limit those chances for Celtic. That is the big question, the match with

Celtic a week on Saturday. It is still send us the answer? I'm not

convinced he is, you look at those small individual things that if they

get nailed down in training that would help but I'm not sure that is

of utmost importance to Rangers. How do you see the match with Celtic to

win? All eyes will turn to the game. I'm unconvinced by Rangers this

season. In fits and starts they have played well but they have not

dominated. Celtic have dominated every game and have looked so

convincing in forward areas and Rangers do not look great

defensively. We have to give credit to Kilmarnock, for a large parts of

the match they controlled it, a part that Mark Warburton referred to as

the worst Rangers performance in his reign. You have to attribute that to

that Kilmarnock's performance was top drawer but they have to carry

that into other games because their season will be defined by the games

against teams around them at the bottom of the table.

It had been three straight defeats for Motherwell as they prepared

Dundee still looking for that magic formula up front.

Mark McGhee opts for the same line-up that suffered a dramatic

defeat at Ibrox. The Ford line-up will again provide the threat. Three

continued forward but he couldn't hit the target. It was an awkward

effort from the left-back and it drifted over the top.

It's the long ball, looking for the pace of Faissal El Bakhtaoui. He

gets the shot away, and an important block. Although look at Michael

Duffy on the penalty spot, and Paul Hartley knows that was the better

option for Faissal El Bakhtaoui. Now MacDonald, faced by Gomis, the new

boy for Dundee, and he steps inside to the top corner, just inches too

high. Opened the scoring against Rangers a week ago, almost doing the

same here. Dropped back from taped to Hannigan and it's a fine ball

over the top, looking for Chris Cadden, whose square ball was trying

to pick out MacDonald. MacDonald's run was well trust, you just wonder

if Chris Cadden could have taken a shot on there.

Play on, says the referee, it comes to MacDonald, punched away but it

drops at the feet of Marvin Johnson. Kevin Holt did enough to block the

shot. He enjoys that position, just dropping deep off the front line. It

is one back by Dundee and now Duffy from range. Michael Duffy, the

Northern Irishman, on loan from salsa, looking for his first

Premiership goal. -- from salsa -- Celtic. Breaks away from Faissal El

Bakhtaoui. Head down now, comes up to survey his options. Faissal El

Bakhtaoui took it nicely and fires in the effort. He did well to

fashion the opportunity. But it was straight at Samson. There hasn't

been a nil- nil draw in this fixture for 30 years but that is how it

seems to be having. Here's MacDonald. Now aims worse trying to

curl one towards the far corner. -- Lionel Innsworth. Scott Bain was

equal to the effort. Paul Hartley will be pleased with the way his

side have defended. They had gone nine games without a clean sheet, it

is looking good for them and could be even better for them if Faissal

El Bakhtaoui can pick out the corner of the net. Lloyd was asking for the

pass, Faissal El Bakhtaoui took the shot. It comes off Andrew Dallas,

the referee. Johnson, as Motherwell looked to find the winner that would

deliver the three points. Clay, back to Johnson, it's well worked but the

ball got caught under his feet a little and he couldn't find the

power in the shot to beat Scott Bain.

Satisfied, I think it was important we didn't lose going into this

break, spent a whole week being distracted. We can relax a little

bit, we have Stevie Hamill back, so we will come back hopefully in

better fettle than the last few weeks. I was pleased, especially

second half we were more on the front foot, a little bit wasteful in

the past and I'm happy with the second half, I thought the players

were No goals yet for Faissal El

Bakhtaoui but I'm sure they will come at some point. Kevin Gomis, a

big impressive defender, spent a lot of time with Nice. He obviously

likes a tackle, as we saw here. No-nonsense defending and this is
