Hello, the first prizes of the season have been handed out,

:00:28.:00:30.

and rugby league minds are now firmly focussdd on

:00:31.:00:32.

We started the weekend with three rounds of the regular season

:00:33.:00:41.

remaining, and a set of six teams chasing first place.

:00:42.:00:49.

It is one to live long in the memory.

:00:50.:00:57.

All that to come, plus a Hull derby too ` Huddersfield's Eorl Crabtree

:00:58.:01:40.

and Mark Flanagan of St Heldns are here to steer us through

:01:41.:01:43.

It's six years since St Heldns last won a trophy, and they were at Leeds

:01:44.:01:48.

on Friday night just six daxs after the Rhinos lifted the Challdnge Cup.

:01:49.:01:57.

The 130th Challenge Cup fin`l, whatever happens today,

:01:58.:02:06.

the friendly final, and we have a terrific story.

:02:07.:02:08.

Hall dragging defenders with him, goes over and scores.

:02:09.:02:31.

Wembley memories are finallx made of this.

:02:32.:02:46.

St Helens could put one hand on the League Leaders Shield with

:02:47.:02:49.

They are fresh, they have h`rdly played in this last month.

:02:50.:02:53.

Due to their lack of involvdment in the Challenge Cup.

:02:54.:02:55.

Leeds, of course, hoping to show that their feet are back on firm

:02:56.:02:58.

ground, after lifting the Challenge Cup a week ago at Wembley Stadium.

:02:59.:03:01.

This is a big match for them tonight.

:03:02.:03:08.

A couple of their key players involved last week,

:03:09.:03:11.

Ward and Singleton coming in on the bench.

:03:12.:03:18.

St Helens, still with that well`documented injury crishs.

:03:19.:03:20.

The likes of Walsh, Lomax and Wilkin still not there,

:03:21.:03:23.

but Lance Hohaia's back in the starting line`up.

:03:24.:03:27.

In the starting 13 For St Hdlens tonight.

:03:28.:03:37.

Lost the ball just inside the Leeds half.

:03:38.:03:45.

So the penalty goes to St Helens.

:03:46.:03:50.

Mark Percival is ther man who has got the kicking duties

:03:51.:03:57.

with four minutes played, looking to give them an early lead,

:03:58.:04:02.

On the right`hand side, quickly rushed out to Watkins.

:04:03.:04:16.

St Helens; defence is responding well enough just at the momdnt.

:04:17.:04:19.

The referee is asking for the replay to see how that ball came loose

:04:20.:04:34.

Richard Silverwood says pen`lty for Leeds.

:04:35.:04:47.

That defensive line is going to be tested again.

:04:48.:05:15.

A little bit too much going on in the tackle after it was complete.

:05:16.:05:20.

Kevin Sinfield having electdd to kick for goal,

:05:21.:05:22.

looking to tie things up ag`in in front of

:05:23.:05:24.

Ten minutes played now. It is two points apiece.

:05:25.:05:32.

He might have lost consciousness as well.

:05:33.:05:44.

A big hit by Bailey, who just took him round the waist.

:05:45.:05:52.

And the shoulder there, of Joel Moon, has caught Percival

:05:53.:05:54.

Joel Moon is sent off with barely 18 minutes played.

:05:55.:06:07.

Look at the shoulder, the referee has decided that's

:06:08.:06:14.

And Percival looking nonplussed as well.

:06:15.:06:22.

And too much of a delay for the referee.

:06:23.:06:35.

Kevin Sinfield looking to add another two and he gives Ledds

:06:36.:06:48.

the lead for the first time despite being down to 12 men.

:06:49.:06:51.

They have got some lively rtnners including Watkins, who off`loads

:06:52.:07:07.

Keeping it alive, Delaney across the line, Sutcliffe,

:07:08.:07:15.

puts the footwork on, he's going to get there.

:07:16.:07:19.

The first try of the night for either side, and despitd having

:07:20.:07:26.

Hardaker on for Delaney. it is St Helens who concede.

:07:27.:07:50.

Leeds with Sutcliffe, he's dropped it, he's lost ht.

:07:51.:07:56.

And the referee again has given Leeds the penalty.

:07:57.:08:01.

And you can see that Hohaia had his hand on the ball

:08:02.:08:04.

This will be nearly the last act of the first half,

:08:05.:08:13.

Kevin Sinfield looking to add another two, four kicks out of four

:08:14.:09:45.

Behind the 40 metre mark when he lets that fly.

:09:46.:09:51.

Hardaker got there but he c`nnot stop it from going out of play.

:09:52.:09:59.

It gives St Helens terrific position.

:10:00.:10:00.

Glancing right and left, puts it back.

:10:01.:10:10.

What a big moment this is, not only in the context

:10:11.:10:27.

this? Try given, and with a kick under the sticks, St Hdlens are

:10:28.:10:51.

Next try, next score, wins this game, you would have thought.

:10:52.:11:02.

Hohaia all the way back, he's got the time to get

:11:03.:11:04.

St Helens might just have snatched the win.

:11:05.:11:11.

And St Helens surely now with one hand on the League Leaders Shield.

:11:12.:11:26.

What's it like to be in the middle of a game that dramatic?

:11:27.:11:51.

Those are the kind of games you want to be involved in.

:11:52.:11:54.

And Leeds have been great m`tches, they beat us by one point

:11:55.:11:57.

Are you focused on picking tp that of that league leader's shidld?

:11:58.:12:05.

Yes, I think at the start of the season that was one

:12:06.:12:07.

You have to finish high in the play`offs.

:12:08.:12:11.

Being on top of the other teams is quite important.

:12:12.:12:15.

We have a big game this week at Warrington, against Warrhngton,

:12:16.:12:18.

And if we can pick up the whn there, we should go far.

:12:19.:12:22.

The big talking point is obviously the sending`off.

:12:23.:12:24.

Did you see it when you run the pitch?

:12:25.:12:26.

I think the shoulder charge was out years ago for reasons like this

:12:27.:12:32.

It is very easy to get someone on the chin or the jaw

:12:33.:12:36.

And unfortunately, Matt Percival was knocked ott.

:12:37.:12:38.

There isn't too much doubt when you see it back, is thdre?

:12:39.:12:43.

He is not being malicious and what he does.

:12:44.:12:46.

In a sense, that is what makes it so bad because he is not evdn

:12:47.:12:51.

Leeds' response, particularly given the Challenge Cup and all that has

:12:52.:12:58.

taken out of them, that must have taken it out of them, it was pretty

:12:59.:13:02.

You think the emotional and physical levels would bd lower

:13:03.:13:05.

coming into this game and it did not seem like th`t.

:13:06.:13:08.

Going down by an extra man hs so difficult

:13:09.:13:10.

I have been in that position myself and gone on and have won gales.

:13:11.:13:17.

I think that's what Leeds possess in abundance, really.

:13:18.:13:21.

They are absolutely fantasthc the way they work for each other.

:13:22.:13:24.

Given all the injuries you have had, and the injuries to key plaxers

:13:25.:13:27.

are you guys slightly surprhsed that you're top of the tabld?

:13:28.:13:29.

I think it has been well`documented in the last few weeks,

:13:30.:13:32.

And we have kind of had to change the way we play a little bit.

:13:33.:13:37.

But I think there is character in our team as well.

:13:38.:13:40.

And some players have steppdd up this last few weeks.

:13:41.:13:42.

Jordan Turner has played a different role and done wdll and

:13:43.:13:45.

And he just directs us around the park.

:13:46.:13:49.

Have you had to change the way you play with Luke Walsh out?

:13:50.:13:52.

The way Luke played, there was a lot of emphasis

:13:53.:13:55.

on him taking control of thd team and with him out of the teal,

:13:56.:13:58.

we have got two half`backss and a loose forward with a kind

:13:59.:14:01.

I think the last two weeks we have gone pretty well with the ndw system

:14:02.:14:05.

and the longer we play with it, the better we will get.

:14:06.:14:08.

Warrington, you talked about, and Huddersfield.

:14:09.:14:11.

We have talked about it, we're not allowed to run at each other!

:14:12.:14:17.

I think I will come off better from that one!

:14:18.:14:20.

Wigan played just two fixtures in August, the second of whhch was

:14:21.:14:23.

And it was play`off chasing Widnes who made the better start,

:14:24.:14:26.

A lot of people complain but you cannot complain at that one,

:14:27.:14:34.

it is a great start by Widnds, showing straightaway that they want

:14:35.:14:37.

to be involved and to disturb the Wigan te`m.

:14:38.:14:39.

Brown with the big, wide pass to Patrick.

:14:40.:14:41.

And it seemed like Widnes wdre in control, here.

:14:42.:14:45.

They seemed to dominate the game but there were was a lot of silly

:14:46.:14:48.

errors, bad penalties given away by Wigan and I think that is what they

:14:49.:14:51.

The fact that discipline cost them points and Danny will

:14:52.:14:55.

And off the back of that, you cannot confound a penalty with

:14:56.:15:10.

an error, kicking out on the forward is just not accdptable.

:15:11.:15:13.

And with that field position, it was Widnes' opportunity to score

:15:14.:15:17.

Kevin Brown at the centre of most things.

:15:18.:15:19.

Wigan had their opportunitids as well, a bit of scrappy play.

:15:20.:15:22.

The Widnes defence not quite getting there.

:15:23.:15:23.

And then the wing going into the corner with

:15:24.:15:26.

a great finish and he managds to ground the ball in the corndr.

:15:27.:15:29.

Again, you thought that Wig`n, at any point, could get into this

:15:30.:15:32.

Widnes were keeping them at arm s length for most of the game.

:15:33.:15:36.

I think he will be disappointed with that effort.

:15:37.:15:41.

Again, Kevin Brown, instrumental in what they do.

:15:42.:15:46.

It was a bit of a shocking drror, really, there.

:15:47.:15:52.

He needs to be knocking that and the celebration sums it up, really.

:15:53.:15:55.

And going into the final part of the game with 12 men isn't

:15:56.:16:11.

And that might just have bedn the straw that broke the camel's back.

:16:12.:16:15.

It was some effort from Widnes to nail Wigan in that second h`lf?

:16:16.:16:18.

Yes, like we said, Kevin Brown is in fine form.

:16:19.:16:20.

The big cutout passes that he does so well.

:16:21.:16:22.

And I think Danny Tickle got Man of the Match because he did some

:16:23.:16:26.

And with the boot as well, you cannot give him too manx

:16:27.:16:30.

Widnes have been one of the stories, haven't they, of the season?

:16:31.:16:34.

Yes, but I think at the same time they will be

:16:35.:16:37.

disappointed that they haven't done even better because they have been

:16:38.:16:39.

in some great positions and they obviously kept doing really

:16:40.:16:42.

But putting teams like Wigan away just shows that they

:16:43.:16:45.

could do anything they wantdd in Super League.

:16:46.:16:47.

I think it has been a fantastic year for them.

:16:48.:16:50.

Again, Wigan had some terrible penalties at the end.

:16:51.:16:52.

I am not sure about that ond, that one was a little bit dtbious,

:16:53.:16:55.

So, Widnes taking one step closer to the play`offs.

:16:56.:16:58.

Let's find out what everyond else was up to in round 25.

:16:59.:17:06.

If you're watching in black and white, keep watching,

:17:07.:17:10.

the Friday night lights shining on Derby night in Hull.

:17:11.:17:15.

There was Wembley heartache but can the Cats stay on Super League

:17:16.:17:22.

course against buoyant Bradford And season over?

:17:23.:17:24.

Not quite. Wakefield and Salford make one

:17:25.:17:25.

last push for the play`offs. Warrington made it all the way

:17:26.:17:37.

to the Grand Final last season. Their play`off campaign included

:17:38.:17:40.

a home win against Huddersfheld Well, the Giants were back there

on offer for somebody at thd end And one of these two may

:17:47.:17:55.

very well be lifting it. Warrington and Huddersfield,

:17:56.:17:58.

Warrington tonight, with thd absence of Stefan Ratchford and Chrhs Bridge

:18:07.:18:13.

both returning to the team. Joe Wardle and Brett Ferres

:18:14.:18:28.

amongst those who miss out. It is going to be held up

:18:29.:18:34.

but not too far away. Huddersfield's defence is good here

:18:35.:18:42.

at the moment but it has to be. Out of the clutches of a cotple

:18:43.:18:49.

of Huddersfield defenders, Just under 20 minutes played

:18:50.:19:04.

and Warrington get the first points Huddersfield have put themsdlves in

:19:05.:19:07.

a decent position, it is a decent Well, they are on onside,

:19:08.:19:25.

no problems there. It is just about the groundhng,

:19:26.:19:48.

really, and that should be fine Parity restored

:19:49.:19:51.

when the kick goes over, surely Lovely little delicate kick

:19:52.:19:58.

by Brough. Crabtree leading

:19:59.:20:02.

in the first instance. And Ta'ai is given the pass`ge

:20:03.:20:16.

through the Warrington line. Charged down,

:20:17.:20:29.

that was judged by Hill. Another centre had a go but

:20:30.:20:38.

the pass from Lunt was exquhsite. The right`hand side finding Cudjoe

:20:39.:20:41.

with a little bit of space. And he has got support

:20:42.:20:52.

on the right flank. The kick into

:20:53.:20:59.

the goal area was just about up And Huddersfield are turning

:21:00.:21:02.

the screw, here. And Warrington are feeling

:21:03.:21:06.

the pressure, He is going to go

:21:07.:21:10.

for it himself here, Shaun Lunt He does it so often but he hs

:21:11.:21:32.

so often unstoppable. And it is another Huddersfidld try,

:21:33.:21:37.

three in eight minutes. That has put them in control

:21:38.:21:41.

of this game. Determination and battling

:21:42.:21:45.

but Warrington's defence will be Sashaying through that defence

:21:46.:21:47.

and taking Huddersfield verx close. Danny Brough is going to

:21:48.:21:59.

put it over the top. Who manages to escape sever`l

:22:00.:22:04.

defenders and puts it now for What a terrific drive

:22:05.:22:32.

from Huddersfield. Created by a man who has had

:22:33.:22:47.

a fantastic game here tonight. Dancing away from defenders

:22:48.:22:50.

and then setting it up for But it is still 23`6

:22:51.:22:56.

in Huddersfield's favour. That is good from him

:22:57.:23:19.

to set up this position, here. Touchdown by Ryan Atkins,

:23:20.:23:24.

he is in and is this the st`rt They were being dominated

:23:25.:23:30.

by Huddersfield. But they have just got

:23:31.:23:39.

themselves back in the game. Two tries in six minutes

:23:40.:23:44.

and it is game back on again now. Warrington back within

:23:45.:23:56.

touching distance. Ben Harrison finding

:23:57.:23:59.

a way through here. Listen to the roar now,

:24:00.:24:02.

Warrington fans suddenly believing. Michael Monaghan,

:24:03.:24:11.

dragged down but close. Stepping away,

:24:12.:24:17.

he is going to be caught. The ball has been knocked down out

:24:18.:24:20.

of the tackle so a penalty here It looks as though he is well

:24:21.:24:27.

short there, doesn't it? Well, you can hear

:24:28.:24:49.

the referee saying it ends tp on the line so the fact that it is short in

:24:50.:24:56.

the first instance doesn't latter. It got there without

:24:57.:25:00.

any double movement. The second of the night for him

:25:01.:25:04.

and how big a moment is that? Well,

:25:05.:25:23.

he has hurt himself in the `ttempt. And Rhys Evans is clearly

:25:24.:25:31.

in a bad way. There will be some real concern

:25:32.:25:37.

here. A matter of moments left

:25:38.:25:48.

in the game. We should just say that, th`nkfully,

:25:49.:25:57.

Rhys Evans is OK. We talked about the drama again

:25:58.:26:41.

yours was reared because the momentum seemed to lurch

:26:42.:26:44.

one way to the next. Both teams had momentum and

:26:45.:26:46.

at one point we thought we could confidently go ahead

:26:47.:26:51.

and win the game because we were The second half was

:26:52.:26:53.

like a landslide. The Huddersfield forwards h`ve to

:26:54.:28:45.

take a lot of credit becausd Shaun is only able able to do this because

:28:46.:28:56.

the front row of Huddersfield gets And that gives him time and space

:28:57.:29:00.

to run and take people on. It is the same for most,

:29:01.:29:07.

James Roby plays well. The Huddersfield team have to

:29:08.:29:11.

take some credit as well. It seems like when

:29:12.:29:14.

the ball gets there and thex are flying, they are flying, but they

:29:15.:29:18.

make it look messy, don't they? Yes, I think the game on Thtrsday

:29:19.:29:21.

showed that. They were pretty poor in

:29:22.:29:23.

the first hour but then thex scored I think Warrington are the type

:29:24.:29:26.

of team that there is a lot of offloads and off`the`cuff

:29:27.:29:31.

players and when they are hot, they are really hot and when thex are not

:29:32.:29:34.

so much, I think it showed hn the We have seen Warrington,

:29:35.:29:38.

Huddersfield, Leeds and Wigan dropping pohnts

:29:39.:29:41.

and that left Castleford as the only team who can catch

:29:42.:29:44.

St Helens at the top the table. They had to beat Bradford to stay

:29:45.:29:48.

in the race. You were impressed with how they

:29:49.:29:51.

reacted to the Challenge Cup defeat? I was, it was tough to come

:29:52.:29:54.

back after a loss at Wemblex. A game

:29:55.:29:59.

like that is maybe the highlight You can see them going over

:30:00.:30:01.

for the try, though. The middle part of the field

:30:02.:30:06.

for Castleford has been brilliant. Along with Lynch and Hughes with

:30:07.:30:12.

his ballplaying skills and Clark. He announced he was going to

:30:13.:30:16.

Warrington at the end of thd season It is tough, you have been there,

:30:17.:30:22.

to pick ourselves up? Yes, I think that what is what has

:30:23.:30:27.

been so impressive about thdm. We talk about player rust,

:30:28.:30:31.

as it were. At the beginning of the season,

:30:32.:30:33.

the fact that they have got No real standout names

:30:34.:30:36.

but the fact that they have worked so well together and so hard,

:30:37.:30:41.

it is just that work ethic. They seem to be a family,

:30:42.:30:44.

like Massey as well, stepping up, big carriers, off`loading and

:30:45.:30:50.

the way they play is just so fluid. The way they pass the ball, it is

:30:51.:30:53.

just very hard to defend ag`inst. They have been very successful

:30:54.:30:57.

and they have played the right way. This try going in, they havd played

:30:58.:31:00.

some great stuff and they used to be called Classy Cass and they are

:31:01.:31:03.

warranting that name again. Bradford were better in the second

:31:04.:31:16.

half, great to show them showing that talent? Lee has got lo`ds of

:31:17.:31:22.

talent and was unearthed. Hd scores the hat trick in that game `nd he is

:31:23.:31:26.

very sharp with a very good kicking game. As he gets older he bdcomes

:31:27.:31:33.

more consistent. Do you think you can get that consistency? Hd is

:31:34.:31:37.

somebody that everybody has known about for ages. He put in some

:31:38.:31:42.

performances against Wigan hn big matches and he was by far the Man of

:31:43.:31:44.

the Match. He has matches and he was by far the Man of

:31:45.:31:47.

the Match. played a lot of stand`off and full`back because he is very

:31:48.:31:53.

good off`the`cuff play. And that from Clark was lovely? Look at that

:31:54.:31:55.

speed! You have talked

:31:56.:32:00.

about him going to Warrington. And Gayle has announced that

:32:01.:32:05.

he's going to Castleford. That could be a smart bit

:32:06.:32:07.

of business. I'm sure that a lot of clubs have

:32:08.:32:14.

looked at Luke Gayle before. It is something we

:32:15.:32:17.

have talked about. He should fit in really well, and

:32:18.:32:20.

make sure that he enjoys hilself. The biggest crowd

:32:21.:32:26.

of the week was at the KC Stadium on Friday night for the third

:32:27.:32:29.

and final Hull derby of the season. The Red and Whites have had

:32:30.:32:33.

the better of it so far this year with two wins, so it threatdned to

:32:34.:32:39.

be a long winter for the Bl`ck and Whites if they couldn't get

:32:40.:36:00.

anything from this one. The Derby is one of the biggest in the g`me and

:36:01.:36:05.

they are very passionate about Rugby League over there. Even with those

:36:06.:36:10.

teams not doing well. Interdsting from Bradford, if both teams and

:36:11.:36:16.

that, who knows what would have back `` what would have happened all

:36:17.:36:21.

season? We got turned over puite easily and they totally domhnated

:36:22.:36:25.

us. That is what happened the other day and that is what is verx

:36:26.:36:30.

disappointing. They can put in this performance, just not very often and

:36:31.:36:35.

on paper they have a great side and we have got them coming up. I would

:36:36.:36:42.

expect to see a different tdam. One of those performances they will

:36:43.:36:45.

really rip into. Buried as ` body with Hull KR, Christiansen was

:36:46.:36:54.

announced. `` really disappointed. It does make you look in thd murder,

:36:55.:37:01.

and that probably makes plaxers more accountable for their actions. I

:37:02.:37:06.

would not be surprised if I saw a very big reaction this week. There

:37:07.:37:12.

is not much to play for? Thdy will try to get into the play`offs, but

:37:13.:37:16.

at this time you have to be hitting form to hit those running and make a

:37:17.:37:22.

big difference. Despite that, Rovers have an outside chance of m`king the

:37:23.:37:24.

top eight, Wakefield were looking good against Salford on Sunday?

:37:25.:37:31.

Exceptional performance, thdy have really stepped up. Andrew showing

:37:32.:37:41.

greater speed. He has come out of retirement to play the last ten

:37:42.:37:45.

games of the season but he `ctually had some injuries. Wakefield

:37:46.:37:52.

absolutely dominated. The celebrations every time. And they

:37:53.:37:55.

have had a lot of players coming back from injury also. He w`s

:37:56.:38:05.

absolutely fantastic. Perhaps they thought Salford had given up? He may

:38:06.:38:11.

be needs to be the main man. I have been at Wakefield and he has been

:38:12.:38:14.

the player who has been in control, marshalling, he certainly w`s. It is

:38:15.:38:25.

ironic that he was a star of the show against his former club. It

:38:26.:38:29.

might have been a case of not being the main man at Salford. He has gone

:38:30.:38:34.

back to Wakefield and everything runs around him and he has shown in

:38:35.:38:41.

this match just how good he is. The only driver Salford, the ch`irman

:38:42.:38:46.

was pretty harsh on Twitter? This is not what they want to see? They got

:38:47.:38:51.

roasted at the start of the season and for one reason or anothdr, it

:38:52.:38:57.

has not worked out. I am a very big believer in team spirit and I think

:38:58.:39:04.

next year it will be 12 months, they will be better off and thosd

:39:05.:39:09.

combinations will work and they will hopefully turn into a very good

:39:10.:39:14.

team. We talk about team sphrit There is a problem when you publicly

:39:15.:39:17.

criticise your own players hn front of the coaches and the owners, I do

:39:18.:39:21.

not think that is the right way to go about it. It needs to be

:39:22.:39:25.

in`house, look in the murder but make constructive criticism. You

:39:26.:39:30.

know that you need to step things up in whatever department but for the

:39:31.:39:35.

public, that is no not the right way of going about it. Let us move on to

:39:36.:39:45.

Catalan Dragons against London and London will be hugely disappointed?

:39:46.:39:50.

Their first win of the season? Yes, they were going for two in ` row but

:39:51.:39:53.

that is a tough place to go. they were going for two in ` row but

:39:54.:39:56.

that They showed what a good team they are at the moment. Gre`t try

:39:57.:40:06.

with that flick pass. One of the best back`up layers in the

:40:07.:40:13.

competition. More often than not, it leads to a try. Catalan will have to

:40:14.:40:17.

go away in the leads to a try. Catalan will have to

:40:18.:40:19.

go away play`offs and they `re better at home? It is the toughest

:40:20.:40:24.

place to go in Super League because every time you go there, thd change

:40:25.:40:28.

in environment and the change in environment and the changing hotel,

:40:29.:40:30.

it makes you feel fatigued. They have gone there thinking, wd have

:40:31.:40:35.

won one of the games in the season and with poor defence and mhssed

:40:36.:40:38.

tackles, they would just not good enough. Catalan played extrdmely

:40:39.:40:43.

well but another point I had to make was players have been possibly told

:40:44.:40:48.

they will not be playing for the rest of the season. Like Leon Pryce,

:40:49.:40:53.

you need that experience, why would you drop one of the better players?

:40:54.:40:59.

That is not something I agrde with. Catalan have a good team but they

:41:00.:41:04.

need that experience. Catal`n touched us up over in Francd earlier

:41:05.:41:09.

in the year and he was instrumental. He is an old head who has bden there

:41:10.:41:13.

and done that and got the T`shirt, he will be invaluable to thdm. Can

:41:14.:41:19.

Catalan do damage in the pl`y`offs? I hope not! They possibly whll, it

:41:20.:41:26.

depends what teams turn up. We have the issue of going over there and

:41:27.:41:31.

they have the same problem coming over to England. It does make a

:41:32.:41:36.

difference, it really does. At home we absolutely annihilated them, they

:41:37.:41:42.

were not the same team. It hs check the latest standings in the Super

:41:43.:41:47.

League table... The Saints need just one point from the remaining two

:41:48.:41:52.

matches to claim the shield for the first time since 2008. Castleford

:41:53.:41:56.

are the only team who can overtake them. Catalan and witness jtst did

:41:57.:42:01.

one point to secure the plax`off places. Saints and Warrington is on

:42:02.:42:06.

Thursday. Wigan play Leeds on Friday. And there are five fixtures

:42:07.:42:15.

on Sunday. Join us at 11:35pm next Monday night for highlights from all

:42:16.:42:19.

of those matches with a repdat showing on Tuesday lunch tile on BBC

:42:20.:42:23.

Two and you can of course c`tch us all week on the iPlayer. Kevin

:42:24.:42:30.

Sinfield announced this evening that he is retiring from international

:42:31.:42:33.

Rugby League. He has been a great servant to his country and says he

:42:34.:42:37.

can play at that level still but, like Peacock, he reckons he could

:42:38.:42:42.

prolong his career if he dods not play for his country? Is a lassive

:42:43.:42:47.

loss because he is a great captain and leader and especially for

:42:48.:42:51.

leaves, his best promises h`ve been for the Leeds Rhinos. I think it is

:42:52.:42:56.

the right decision, I have done the same thing but not through choice!

:42:57.:43:00.

Doesn't make the huge difference to not have the international career?

:43:01.:43:04.

Looking at Jamie Peacock ovdr the last 24 months, that has shown that,

:43:05.:43:09.

yes, but Kevin is a different player, but his leadership for

:43:10.:43:14.

England has been brilliant `nd hopefully he can continue to do that

:43:15.:43:18.

for a bit longer. He will bd hard to replace? You know what, with Steve

:43:19.:43:24.

McNamara, I was not sure th`t he wanted to play him in the fhrst

:43:25.:43:30.

place. When he is leading, he is fantastic, he controls the game

:43:31.:43:33.

They don't want to lose that there will be other players to fill the

:43:34.:43:38.

place but they have a mightx task. And we will need a new capt`in is

:43:39.:43:43.

Mike I might throw my hat into the ring! Will you back him up? Mark for

:43:44.:43:51.

the captain? Yes! Gentlemen, thank you for the company. Don't forget,

:43:52.:43:56.

Saints against Warrington and Wigan versus Leeds next week. Join us for

:43:57.:43:59.

that, if you can. Goodbye. MUSIC: "Changing"
