that is what Yeovil have done. They have been in it altogether. They may

not have the biggest squad but they have played their hearts out and won

promotion to the championship. They will be playing in the second tier

of English football. What a moment for the Yeovil management team! I

don't think Somerset is going to a little clublike Yeovil playing

against clubs like Redding... Look at this! I can't describe it.

hard was it towards the end there? It was desperate, but as you see, we

stood up to it and they never had a chance, debate, really? They never

had a chance! And now we are the championship! It is about the

manager, actually. You know that as well as anybody. What has he done

since he came here 15, 16 months ago to create all of this? What an

achievement! He just threw everything in. I think the

population of Yeovil is 40,000! They are all here today! They have made

so much noise. I am so pleased for all of us. A massive achievement.

Everyone thought we were going to win. Obviously we will under dogs

and came out again. It is unbelievable. It doesn't matter

whose cause. I thought the lads at the back were also on. -- it doesn't

matter who scores. What a season for you! Where has it come from? Gary

gave me my chance and built my confidence. I knew I had that in the

locker but I wasn't given a chance so Gary gave me the chance and

showed me what to do. Very, very hard not to think back to

that penalty. I think it would have been the wrong thing. First of all,

congratulations to Gary. When you win 2-0 in a final, you deserve to

go up but it doesn't take anything away from my players and what they

did today. They were a bit nervous and against Yeovil it is crucial not

to go down because they have their defenders... In the second half,

giving a sloppy goal away just before half-time. The nerves went

away from our young players and they played very well. I'm so proud to be

their manager. And they will gain a lot of experience after this, the

massive games we had, not only the one today, but the big goals against

Doncaster. And this team will only get better. Wow! Wow is about right!

You get winners and losers. So we commiserate with Brentford. They had

a great second half and we had to hang on in there. But we were the

winners and so you've always got to do your best and you've always got

to congratulate your staff and supporters and your Board of

Directors. And the manager, too, because since he came back, this

club has undergone a remarkable transformation. Is that it? Certain

people who are right at the club? It could be. It fitted right at certain

points in the season. We have got good relationships together, trust.

They gave me everything. We got a group we trusted and we said right

from the off we weren't going to be the whipping boys in this division

and we were going to compete, and we have had to work very hard to keep

at this level as far as keeping up the league, but when it mattered,

they came up trumps, and if we can keep these supporters next year for

our home games, then we have got half a chance!

Great scenes from the Yeovil town dressing room! What a story! Here we

are, they were favourites for relegation but now they have been

promoted to the championship. You could not have got a game of two

more contrasting halves, could you? We use that cliche, game of two

halves, but we have to. They just came out and seemed ready and

prepared whereas Brentford seem to be playing to the occasion. We have

seen that before. They seemed to lack energy in the second-half and

Yeovil took advantage. I think you will have been pleased he only went

with a two old deficit. -- he will have been pleased. You think it has

fallen on his weaker foot here... And then the outside of the right

foot, it is an absolutely beautiful finish. Absolutely perfect. Any

player in the Premier League scores that goal and they would say it was

world class, and it was world-class. That was his 24th goal of the

season. Not bad for a striker that cost just 15 to �20,000. Yes, and

then they took advantage. You just see him take a swipe at it and he

misses it. It definitely goes over the line. And they deserved their

lead. As you say, they did have a chance to make it 3-0 after

half-time and bring trouble desperate to start the second half

quickly, with momentum, and they certainly did that, didn't they?

They had so many chances. They were really getting into it. It is a bit

disappointing from Yeovil's point of view. Going into the post. But it

really gave them the momentum. They thought, we have got a game on our

hands here. They had numerous chances, Brentford, and played some

excellent football. They really did drive forward. You can see them

driving into the box from the other angle. He just kept it out anyway

you could. This was the best save with Bradley Wright Phillips. It

looks more difficult from this angle because he is onside for a bit.

suppose the most painful thing for Brentford bands is they have had

such a journey to get to this point and to not turn up in the way they

did in the first half will almost begin their throats? -- for

Brentford fans? Yes. What will stick in their throat is that they didn't

get over the line in the first place. With all respect to Yeovil.

And it cost them massively. They will reflect on this. Yes, it will

go down in their history, this season. To miss out in the last

minute of the game. That is what cost them. I didn't think the

manager could lift them after this. It certainly wasn't the case and

they didn't show that in the second half at Wembley today. But at the

end of the day, that is what they will be really sad about. Lots to do

over the summer, not least to keep hold of that young core of players.

As for what goes on at Yeovil over the summer, they have been averaging

4,000 but next season, they will be looking at 20,000 at Wembley and

thinking, we could do with that extra backing now for the team?

Absolutely. They get the fans in there to support them. I am sure

they will be thinking they can survive the move into that

championship again. I don't think they will have any worries about

that. As for Saturday's leak to final, Bradford snuck into the

play-offs having come good in the last three months, eventually

sealing their places in the play-offs. They were just 90 minutes

away from a return to League One. They had enjoyed a real revival.

That is due to their manager. been an expensive year for me but

well worth it! We have been down here for six years and we need to

get out of it! He has done magic since he has come in. The best

Brighton desperate to get the ball away from their own goal as Palace

run down the cup. Yet another throw for his side. Brighton can see their

chances of promotion just ebbing away. Surely palace will keep them

put Palace at Wembley! -- that puts! He turns and leaves him for

dead, and no chance for the keeper. It was all about the turn, showing

real quality, the sort of quality Manchester United have bought.

chance to take a team into the still believe we are a good team and

to come here and do that with that atmosphere, it is second to none.

the season. It puts the Hornets Sentenced Level. And Michael Oliver

has pointed to the spot. Leicester City have a penalty deep, deep into

injury time. It was an arm but was it enough to send him sprawling? It

is a controversial decision. If he scores here... What a moment for the

goalkeeper! He says it twice! They stay alive in this play-off

won it! Seconds after Leicester could have put -- booked their own

place at Wembley, he has won it for Watford. Last-minute drama again

delivered by the football league. Watford are going wild! And as well

they might! They are on their way to Wembley Stadium! He brings it to a

close. Watford have won it by 3-2 on aggregate. That late strike only

seconds after Anthony could have won own goal today. When I saw the ball

go into the other hand, I saw a picture of Brentford somehow! But we

finished in the proper way. I think Watford were the better side today.

They had us on the ropes for long periods in the second-half. But we

were still able to score a goal from set play and also got a penalty at

the end of the game, which, unfortunately, has ultimately cost

us the game. But it is a tough one to take at the moment.

And Nigel is not wrong. I would say on any other day, in any other year,

we have seen nothing like it, but obviously how uncanny is it to see

what happened at Griffin Park replicated there? I have never seen

anything replicated like this in my lifetime! But this was even more

dramatic than what happened at Brentford. The penalty save... He

was half injured and took an age to get out because of his injury. He

makes the save and the place erupted! And from that, they go down

the other end and then... This is incredible. And then the man who

sticks in the back of the net is the one who thought he had ruined

Watford's chances after being banned. You are right. We know about

the start of the season with where he was and where he has come from,

but this season, he has been so consistent. They have largely been

rotated but he has been the constant? Yes. When he was suspended

a few weeks ago, he and we thought he had up severely ruined it, but

then he comes back. -- he had absolutely ruined it. A couple of

goals for Palace. He has been there since he was ten, ten years? And to

get them into the Premier League would be perfect? Yes, and he really

needed to show that, Holloway, because he has been nowhere near

that. To come into that game, and I think Palace fans knew that that

they needed to step up to the plate. You mentioned Glenn Murray, who is

out for six months. He certainly deserves a better end to the season

after hitting, what was it? 30 goals. I have some other players who

are strong and powerful. They want to show it is not just about one

player. They have had some good performances and have been amazing.

Great midfielders. Everybody has chipped in and that is what they

need now. And what about fallout after that win at AMEX? -- what

about that fallout? Not nice, what we think has gone on there. But I

think you chose the wrong time to say he might not be at the club.

After everything he has done, the players would have been dejected,

and he could have left it 24 hours with the Board of Directors and

sorted his future out there and then, and it has left a really sour

taste in the mouth. The fans absolutely love him for what he has

achieved but this has caused a massive problem and it is a real

shame. And Watford versus Palace - who do you fancy? I'm not even going

to answer this! It is two teams who play open, attractive football. I

think it will be an amazing game and after what has happened at Brentford

and at Watford, I am really looking forward to it. That is it from us.
