during the winter storms. And today Trinity

and Eden were released back into the sea after months of rehabilhtation.

This afternoon Trinity and Eden were carefully loaded onto

a boat to carry them on their journey to freedom.

During the crossing from Gudrnsey they both appeared remarkably calm.

As we approached Jethou another seal was spotted, Dave,

the resident seal, checking out what all the fuss was about.

Once ashore and gently in place the cages were opened.

A little unsure at first, the two soon made their dash for frdedom.

For their carers it was thrilling to see

the seals back where they bdlong. It is never easy when we release any

wild animals back to the se` or whatever they belong. There were

some nervous points but oncd they got into the water, they had a great

time. Now, they are out there fending for themselves.

fortunate to have a great cdntre in Guernsey to bring these girls on.

Back in Guernsey, those who played with her in the 2012 tournalent say

it is a fantastic achievement. The England selectors pushed a lot more

women to come down from the National Leagues. To get picked and then to

be the captain of the ladies team is a massive achievement. She will take
