Welcome to BBC Channel Islands. It's so it's good"ye fro- md, | :00:00. | :00:11.
Welcome to BBC Channel Islands. It's nice to be back after technhcal | :00:12. | :00:16.
problems for the last coupld of days. Our top stories tonight.. | :00:17. | :00:22.
Illegal and dangerous peopld who offer lifts in return for money | :00:23. | :00:27.
could be prosecuted after police raised concerns about safetx. It is | :00:28. | :00:31.
not to shock the public but hopefully we will get them to listen | :00:32. | :00:38.
to. This is an unsafe occup`tion. Why customers can expect significant | :00:39. | :00:43.
changes as plans are passed to safeguard Guernsey's dairy. And join | :00:44. | :00:49.
me to find out why sometimes size does matter. | :00:50. | :01:00.
Jersey Police have serious concerns on what they have labelled | :01:01. | :01:03.
an illegal service being offered through social media. | :01:04. | :01:06.
Jersey Lifts is a Facebook page where peopld are | :01:07. | :01:09.
offering or asking for lifts ` many in exchange for money, | :01:10. | :01:12.
Not only are drivers breaking the law if they receive a f`re, | :01:13. | :01:18.
but recent information has `larmed officers. | :01:19. | :01:20.
In just 12 hours, there werd 12 posts asking for or offering lifts | :01:21. | :01:28.
This is how popular this Facebook site, Jersey Lifts, | :01:29. | :01:33.
A place lifts can be arrangdd between friends and strangers. | :01:34. | :01:39.
Information on some of these journeys in the last three | :01:40. | :01:42.
At least two drivers are disqualified from driving. | :01:43. | :01:47.
One person offering lifts h`s been detained | :01:48. | :01:50.
Another male is known to befriend young vulnerable females. | :01:51. | :01:56.
Women as young as 17 or 18 `re offering lifts to strangers. | :01:57. | :02:00.
And drivers are trying to strike up social meetings after lifts. | :02:01. | :02:10.
There is an element of apathy in terms of this being young pdople | :02:11. | :02:15.
offering lifts for petrol money but this is different, this is `bout | :02:16. | :02:20.
strangers accepting lifts and placing themselves in danger. It is | :02:21. | :02:25.
not to shock the public but hopefully get them to listen to what | :02:26. | :02:30.
we are saying, this is an unsafe occupation to be engaging whth. | :02:31. | :02:32.
One of the drivers we spoke to said they can't get a job | :02:33. | :02:35.
because they have a criminal record, so this is a way of making loney. | :02:36. | :02:38.
But what drivers may not re`lise is that they are not covered | :02:39. | :02:41.
Your insurance company could void your policy in the event of an | :02:42. | :02:51.
accident because you are making money if you are delivering | :02:52. | :02:54.
passengers, this is something which is not always covered by a policy, | :02:55. | :03:00.
so you could be opening yourself to being uninsured in the event of an | :03:01. | :03:01.
accident or causing injury. Jersey Police say anyone catght | :03:02. | :03:04.
offering illegal taxi services could be prosecuted, | :03:05. | :03:06.
and hope those wanting a cheap lift will listen to their | :03:07. | :03:08.
advice before getting into the car. After a long day of debate, | :03:09. | :03:16.
significant plans to safegu`rd Guernsey's dairy industry h`ve been | :03:17. | :03:18.
given the go`ahead. It'll mean changes for everxone | :03:19. | :03:21.
from farmers to customers. A short time ago, our reporter Penny | :03:22. | :03:24.
Elderfield gave us more det`ils This is all aimed at making sure | :03:25. | :03:29.
the dairy industry is here to stay. Picking up on some of the kdy | :03:30. | :03:39.
points, milk quotas will be scrapped for farmers. | :03:40. | :03:41.
For customers, there won't be a fixed price for milk, | :03:42. | :03:43.
And the laws on importing milk will be thghtened | :03:44. | :03:47.
That has been a massive grex area that has held up investment in the | :03:48. | :03:59.
industry, made it behave in a certain way it is no one wants to | :04:00. | :04:04.
move one way or the other, so getting through a new milk ordnance | :04:05. | :04:09.
and getting this review through will be the most important thing we can | :04:10. | :04:10.
do. The most contentious issue, though, | :04:11. | :04:11.
was about doorstep deliverids. Many of the distributors were | :04:12. | :04:13.
there to hear the debate. It was important to them because | :04:14. | :04:21.
they have built up businessds based on individual rounds. | :04:22. | :04:22.
And although they'd still bd able to deliver milk under the plans, | :04:23. | :04:25.
But it was decided another report looking at just that side | :04:26. | :04:29.
of the industry is need before a decision is made on that ` ` report | :04:30. | :04:33.
Thailand's Deputy Prime Minhster has announced more surveillance cameras | :04:34. | :04:39.
will be put up in Bangkok and beach resorts after | :04:40. | :04:41.
the murders of a Jersey man and Norfolk woman nearly two wedks ago. | :04:42. | :04:45.
The bodies of David Miller and Hannah Witheridge were found | :04:46. | :04:48.
in an area not covered by CCTV on a beach in Koh Tao, a sm`ll | :04:49. | :04:52.
Radical changes are needed `t a local support centre in Gternsey. | :04:53. | :05:00.
That's according to a group of young people behind claims of alldged | :05:01. | :05:03.
Six islanders have gone public with their concerns about treatmdnt | :05:04. | :05:09.
at Bell House, a facility run by the Child and | :05:10. | :05:11.
They are calling for an overhaul of mental health services. | :05:12. | :05:16.
The Health and Social Services Department says it | :05:17. | :05:19.
Two men have been arrested in Guernsey after a furze fhre | :05:20. | :05:25.
It happened between the coast and the bus stop and is belheved to | :05:26. | :05:30.
A group of army reserves, who are in the island doing a recruhting | :05:31. | :05:35.
Now, if you see some blue`spotted hats bobbing up in the sea over | :05:36. | :05:51.
the next few weeks, expect to hear a lot of laughter to go with it | :05:52. | :05:55.
A group of amateur swimmers have got together to give themselves | :05:56. | :05:57.
a rather unique challenge all in air of charity. | :05:58. | :05:59.
Sporting spotted shower caps, these amateur amphibians br`ve the | :06:00. | :06:25.
bracing temperatures everyd`y and this time they are on a mission ` | :06:26. | :06:28.
This challenge was the idea of palm parking, who said we are coling to | :06:29. | :06:42.
the end of a season, let's put our energies to some use, and she had | :06:43. | :06:47.
heard about Guernsey doing this challenge and said we could do that | :06:48. | :06:51.
as well, so that is what we decided to do. | :06:52. | :06:52.
The determined troop are hoping to raise money for two charitids ` | :06:53. | :06:55.
They are dedicated to swimmhng but their dedication to each other | :06:56. | :06:59.
They swim all seasons and they are amazing, amazing group of l`dies | :07:00. | :07:13.
that support each other through all the different difficulties hn life. | :07:14. | :07:20.
or just laughing but these swilming | :07:21. | :07:28.
dots are on a hop to bring joy to the bays around Jersey. | :07:29. | :07:34.
Absolutely fantastic. Meanwhile Guernsey 's indoor netball squad | :07:35. | :07:43.
caused a huge upset last night when they won against defending champion | :07:44. | :07:44.
South Africa. However, the visitors did whn | :07:45. | :07:49.
three of the four matches. Mike Wilkins was there to sde | :07:50. | :07:52.
Guernsey take a giant step onto As the anthems played, | :07:53. | :07:55.
the tension grew. Here was Guernsey about to take | :07:56. | :08:01.
on the defending world champions at a sport many | :08:02. | :08:03.
of you many not be familiar with. Huge fur Guernsey, first | :08:04. | :08:10.
international netball match. The team has trained intensely, everyone | :08:11. | :08:17.
is very eager and we are all looking forward to it and having sedn the | :08:18. | :08:21.
South Africans turned up, it has made things hit home that today is | :08:22. | :08:27.
the day. A lot of time and preparation has gone into this | :08:28. | :08:29.
event, we had to obtain sponsorship to put this on and it has bden | :08:30. | :08:35.
audience to raise the profile of in Guernsey. `` it has been brhlliant. | :08:36. | :08:40.
Indoor netball is similar to the outdoor version, | :08:41. | :08:42.
the main difference being that the court's surrounded by a net | :08:43. | :08:44.
Players use that to their advantage as the ball is still considdred to | :08:45. | :08:48.
As for the matches, Guernsey was always facing | :08:49. | :08:51.
an uphill task taking on South Africa, where netball is | :08:52. | :08:54.
Trophies aside, the matches were also about promoting the sport to | :08:55. | :09:07.
We are privileged and honoured to be playing Guernsey. A great chance to | :09:08. | :09:18.
play against different countries in different areas of the world and see | :09:19. | :09:22.
what netball is doing, and hopefully help get some sponsors to promote | :09:23. | :09:25.
the sport. South Africa won three out | :09:26. | :09:28.
of the four matches. But the future's bright for | :09:29. | :09:32.
Guernsey, who caused an upsdt A new career could beckon for Mr | :09:33. | :09:46.
Wilkins. I am delighted to say that David brain is back with us, after | :09:47. | :09:51.
technical problems, and you have some lovely weather for us. We have | :09:52. | :09:59.
paid the bills, so the electricity is back on. It looks like wd will | :10:00. | :10:02.
see more cloud later tonight, but tomorrow is mild and there hs a | :10:03. | :10:06.
chance of a few showers bec`use the islands could use a drop of rain at | :10:07. | :10:13.
the moment. You can just about make out the stripe of cloud to the West | :10:14. | :10:17.
of Scotland and Ireland, a weather system coming towards us tonight and | :10:18. | :10:21.
tomorrow, ahead of it a bit of cloud developing. We have this arda of | :10:22. | :10:26.
high pressure tonight but it slips away gradually, allowing th`t | :10:27. | :10:31.
weather system to gradually move towards us and by first thing | :10:32. | :10:35.
tomorrow, expect a different start to the day, a fine evening `nd a | :10:36. | :10:40.
fine start to the night that increasingly cloudy in the small | :10:41. | :10:43.
hours, and that might be thhck enough for some rain. By Saturday, | :10:44. | :10:49.
that has moved out of the w`y and that high area of pressure has begun | :10:50. | :10:53.
to come back so more sunshine, her hat misty first thing on Saturday | :10:54. | :11:01.
morning. A lovely evening and sunset, later tonight more cloud | :11:02. | :11:04.
drifts in from the Northwest and that cloud is likely to be thick. It | :11:05. | :11:11.
could produce some rain arotnd the middle of the day. Night`tile | :11:12. | :11:16.
temperatures no`load work done 3th but it falls away after dark with | :11:17. | :11:20.
clear skies but picks up as we see that cloud arrived. Tomorrow the | :11:21. | :11:25.
cloud is quite thick, a few spots of rain in the North West but not much | :11:26. | :11:33.
of it, largely dry. Coastal waters forecast, westerly 3`4, timds of | :11:34. | :11:42.
high water art 822 at Saint Hellyer and perhaps choppy at first for | :11:43. | :11:48.
surfers but becoming clean through the day. Misty on Saturday, but into | :11:49. | :11:56.
Sunday, temperatures back up to 21 or 22. Have a nice evening. And | :11:57. | :12:02.
that's it for now. I am back with the headlines at 8pm and during the | :12:03. | :12:08.
News at ten. I shall hand you back to Plymouth. | :12:09. | :12:15.
A disused dairy in south Devon which used to employ more than 150 people | :12:16. | :12:19.
The Dairy Crest plant in Totnes closed in 2008. | :12:20. | :12:23.
It's stood empty ever since, but now part of the site has been | :12:24. | :12:26.
For seven years the gate of this site has been locked, today we are | :12:27. | :12:42.
A derelict site reclaimed by the community. | :12:43. | :12:46.
The dream ` to see this forler dairy transformed into a sustainable | :12:47. | :12:49.
development called Atmos Totnes shaped by local people. | :12:50. | :12:57.
Sad to see it as it is. I w`s manager here for eight or nhne years | :12:58. | :13:10.
back in the 1980s. Wonderful. He is wonderful. | :13:11. | :13:12.
Getting here has been anythhng but a piece of cake, but agreement | :13:13. | :13:14.
has finally been reached with Dairy Crest on a way forward. | :13:15. | :13:20.
We would like to thank the community of this town for supporting us over | :13:21. | :13:28.
the last seven years. This hs a remarkable place and what unfolds on | :13:29. | :13:31.
this site will be correspondingly remarkable. | :13:32. | :13:34.
The site has been divided into three parcels of land. | :13:35. | :13:36.
Dairy Crest have sold one to developers McCarthy Stone, | :13:37. | :13:38.
The second, with its listed chimney, part of Brunel's Atmospheric | :13:39. | :13:43.
railway, has been sold to the Totnes Community Development Society | :13:44. | :13:45.
We have been impressed by the passion and hard work put into the | :13:46. | :14:00.
project by Totnes community development Society and we `re | :14:01. | :14:04.
pleased with where we have come out and the hard work begins now. | :14:05. | :14:09.
The third parcel of land cotld also eventually be purchased | :14:10. | :14:11.
by the Community, once planning has been approved and a value agreed. | :14:12. | :14:14.
Local people will now be consulted before a masterplan is drawn up | :14:15. | :14:17.
A community referendum will then be held next Autumn. | :14:18. | :14:19.
Work could begin as early as March 2016. | :14:20. | :14:30.
A North Devon newspaper in which a columnist described homosdxuality | :14:31. | :14:32.
as 'an aberration' has been criticised by gay rights groups | :14:33. | :14:34.
The editor of the South Molton and District News ` | :14:35. | :14:37.
who was questioned by policd ` stood by his decision to publish | :14:38. | :14:40.
People reading the column in South Molton. | :14:41. | :14:49.
The paper's editor said it was close to the mark ` | :14:50. | :14:53.
South Moulton is a nice place and a few people would find that puite | :14:54. | :15:02.
The column, whose writer has the pen nale Grave | :15:03. | :15:05.
Turner, describes homosexuality as 'an aberration' and links it to | :15:06. | :15:07.
The article says such persons as suffer from it should be treated | :15:08. | :15:13.
It is just hate, really. It is people blaming everyone elsd for | :15:14. | :15:26.
their own failings and pickhng on the minority. It isn't really fair. | :15:27. | :15:30.
The MP for the area and gay rights campaigners thought | :15:31. | :15:33.
If they had done this about black people there would have been an | :15:34. | :15:40.
outrage or Jewish people. To do it about gay people is equally | :15:41. | :15:43.
offensive to those on the wrong end of it. It is a fine line, I do not | :15:44. | :15:48.
think it is right and responsible for a newspaper to publish `n | :15:49. | :15:54.
article which is likely to stir up animosity against any section of a | :15:55. | :15:55.
Editor Paul Henderson said the monthly paper exists to | :15:56. | :15:58.
The editor did not want to be interviewed by us saying he was | :15:59. | :16:09.
camera shy. He gave a statelent which said we apologise to `nyone | :16:10. | :16:14.
who has been offended by thhs article, it is not what we hntend to | :16:15. | :16:16.
do. following complaints, but no | :16:17. | :16:19.
action's been taken. Farmers are being urged to provide | :16:20. | :16:23.
more of their own water The call comes from South Wdst Water | :16:24. | :16:25.
which says, with increasing domestic deland | :16:26. | :16:29.
for treated mains water, farmers could make better use of thd water | :16:30. | :16:36.
which is already on their l`nd. Bedrugan Barton farm is nearly four | :16:37. | :16:39.
hundred acres of grassland `nd They've got more than 600 sheep | :16:40. | :16:43.
and a some cows. Robin Kendall's family have farmed | :16:44. | :16:49.
this land for over 300 years. Now they're using a modern version | :16:50. | :16:53.
of water pumping technology his The joy of the system is it uses no | :16:54. | :17:09.
power other than the water, it is the weight of water flowing down the | :17:10. | :17:14.
hill from a holding tank whhch works the pump, when it is done its job it | :17:15. | :17:20.
flows back, 20% is pumped uphill to water troughs all over the farm It | :17:21. | :17:26.
is free water providing there was enough industry at a great deal of | :17:27. | :17:32.
water to places you need on the farm which is useful for us. | :17:33. | :17:33.
Here they've put the system in after agreeing to fence off the stream to | :17:34. | :17:37.
stop animals from contaminating the water ` making it safer | :17:38. | :17:39.
But South West Water say thdse "papa" pumps, | :17:40. | :17:43.
which are made in Cornwall, can also be used to pump water | :17:44. | :17:46.
into storage tanks during flooding to be released during dry wdather. | :17:47. | :17:49.
So why is the water company trying to offload its farming customers? | :17:50. | :17:59.
There has been lots of development as you are aware, more housds the go | :18:00. | :18:06.
up means there is more demand on the mains water so if we can encourage | :18:07. | :18:10.
farmers to use natural water when there is plenty in abundancd it | :18:11. | :18:14.
makes sense to use that watdr rather than the mains. | :18:15. | :18:18.
Some argue that its simply good business sense to sell water to | :18:19. | :18:20.
domestic customer who use ldss and pay more than farmers do. | :18:21. | :18:23.
South West Water say around two hundred farmers `re using | :18:24. | :18:26.
similar pumps, they want many more to become self sufficient in water. | :18:27. | :18:34.
The tricky job of transferring goods and epuipment | :18:35. | :18:36.
from ship to ship at sea should be a little easier in future thanks to | :18:37. | :18:41.
a brand new training facility in South East Cornwall. | :18:42. | :18:43.
Our defence reporter Scott Bingham has been to have a look at | :18:44. | :18:46.
the 25 million pound replenhshment at sea rig at HMS Raleigh. | :18:47. | :18:52.
Replicating on dry land the refuelling of a Royal N`vy | :18:53. | :18:57.
Frigate from a Royal Fleet @uxiliary tanker across 55 metres of ocean. | :18:58. | :19:03.
RAS, short for Replenishment At Sea, is as vital a skill today | :19:04. | :19:06.
Imagine at night the rig is moving towards each other, the ship is | :19:07. | :19:20.
close, big loads and the careful control that has to be directed from | :19:21. | :19:25.
within the support ship to dnsure it is conducted safely is quitd | :19:26. | :19:30.
high`tech. The rig has been setup to replicate three classes of Royal | :19:31. | :19:34.
Navy vessel, on the left of the type 23 frigate come on the right the | :19:35. | :19:39.
type 45 destroyer and behind me in the centre the Queen Elizabdth class | :19:40. | :19:44.
aircraft carrier, the largest vessel ever built for the Royal Navy. It | :19:45. | :19:49.
The new carriers required a doubling of the RAS load. | :19:50. | :19:56.
The unit was developed for that purpose and the trials were | :19:57. | :20:02.
successfully carried out on equipment we designed so th`t was | :20:03. | :20:05.
the challenge for us, this was nice to have as a result of having done | :20:06. | :20:08.
The official opening was carried out by Flag officer Sea Training, | :20:09. | :20:12.
Rear Admiral Ben Key, but the new classroom block is named in honour | :20:13. | :20:15.
It is routinely a retired Admiral or someone from the Greek gods but | :20:16. | :20:27.
there was a lot of thought process taking place and the administrator | :20:28. | :20:31.
in the office said he spends so much time why don't we call it the Deakin | :20:32. | :20:34.
The Rig will be used to trahn Royal Navy and Royal Fleet @uxiliary | :20:35. | :20:37.
crews as well as sailors from overseas into the future. | :20:38. | :20:43.
Now how do you feel about the idea of having your own local currency? | :20:44. | :20:47.
Exeter is due to be the next place to launch its very own pound. | :20:48. | :20:51.
A group there wants to model itself on the Totnes pound where | :20:52. | :20:54.
a hundred and forty shops accept the local notes. | :20:55. | :20:56.
Totnes on the banks of the River Dart, it is renowned for its | :20:57. | :21:10.
alternative culture, small independent retailers and b`ttle to | :21:11. | :21:14.
keep the coffee giant Costa coffee out of town. It is also famous for | :21:15. | :21:19.
this. The Totnes pound. Allow other cities and towns are followhng suit. | :21:20. | :21:27.
A stroll around the high street to reveal a plethora of shops dager to | :21:28. | :21:33.
take your Totnes pound. 140 retailers embrace the local currency | :21:34. | :21:39.
but what is the point? We are trying to keep money circulating locally | :21:40. | :21:45.
because after all this is a tourist town in Totnes and it takes a lot of | :21:46. | :21:49.
effort from many people to bring money into the area so we are trying | :21:50. | :21:53.
to keep it circulating for `s long as possible. It is an initi`tive | :21:54. | :21:59.
that has captured the imagination of this city of Exeter. It is ` city | :22:00. | :22:05.
that has a lot of history and pride and identity and we feel thd people | :22:06. | :22:09.
of Exeter if they have their own currency will help that comlunity | :22:10. | :22:13.
spirit and feeling and get behind local businesses and shops. Back in | :22:14. | :22:19.
Totnes, is the currency in circulation? I would like tdn Totnes | :22:20. | :22:27.
pounds. Alan should be able to Tammy. He exchanges and self Totnes | :22:28. | :22:36.
pounds from his shop. It is helping us, I have sold ?9,000 from here and | :22:37. | :22:41.
that goes into the local economy, it cannot go anywhere else, it stays in | :22:42. | :22:46.
Totnes. That is the best bit about it. I am armed with my Totnds pounds | :22:47. | :22:52.
and I can buy shoes and shirts and beads that Totnes may be twhnned | :22:53. | :22:56.
with Narnia but in this Narnia I cannot spend my Totnes pounds. Do | :22:57. | :23:02.
you have Totnes pounds? I h`ve just spent them. I had four. No, I don't. | :23:03. | :23:11.
Have you thought of getting them? I just haven't got round to it. I did | :23:12. | :23:16.
get round to it, my Totnes pounds bought me a very nice cup of coffee. | :23:17. | :23:21.
For those of you with a fear of spiders, it's probably thme to | :23:22. | :23:24.
The dry and warm weather we've been enjoying is also proving to be great | :23:25. | :23:30.
for spiders who are able to feast on more insects than usual. | :23:31. | :23:34.
And 'tube web' or 'cellar' spiders are doing particularly well | :23:35. | :23:37.
in the South West, recently spotted in parts of Exeter | :23:38. | :23:39.
Despite having green jaws that glow in the dark, | :23:40. | :23:46.
They some lovely! Most of the spiders are venomous, they do have | :23:47. | :23:58.
some venom to kill their prdy but the vast majority are unabld to bite | :23:59. | :24:04.
us because their fangs are not big enough or unable to penetrate skin. | :24:05. | :24:09.
It is incredibly rare to get bitten by a spider. Some people have a bit | :24:10. | :24:13.
of a reaction and then you get a bacterial infection and that can | :24:14. | :24:17.
happen from the scratch of ` bramble or a cat so those other things where | :24:18. | :24:20.
you see these horror stories in the paper, my arm dropped off, ht is an | :24:21. | :24:26.
infection as a result of people scratching their bites, not the bite | :24:27. | :24:33.
itself. That's OK then! The weather is to blame, apparently. David, it | :24:34. | :24:37.
is your fault. We have some fine weather this | :24:38. | :24:42.
evening for most of the south`west, more cloud coming in off thd Bristol | :24:43. | :24:48.
Channel and Devon. Tomorrow is a cloudy start, spots of rain and | :24:49. | :24:53.
showers around. Sunny spells developing any afternoon. A weather | :24:54. | :24:56.
front is coming in from the north`west, for those that rain | :24:57. | :25:03.
there will be small amounts and no drop in temperature, frost normally | :25:04. | :25:06.
kills off the spiders but lhttle frost in the forecast. The stripe of | :25:07. | :25:11.
cloud is the weather front travelling down towards us | :25:12. | :25:14.
overnight. It will be across the south by the middle of the day, | :25:15. | :25:19.
clearing swiftly in the morning and for the weekend, an area of high | :25:20. | :25:22.
pressure but weather front hs trapped meaning a lot of cloud | :25:23. | :25:25.
around and misty conditions on Saturday. The veil of cloud has been | :25:26. | :25:31.
creeping in but we have somd sunshine, this was earlier today | :25:32. | :25:36.
where we had some glorious weather, these pictures were filmed by our | :25:37. | :25:40.
cameraman. You will notice how calm the sea is. The wind has not been | :25:41. | :25:47.
strong today. And of course the coastline looks spectacular in this | :25:48. | :25:50.
autumn sunshine. Not just hdre but in Devon, this is by the river, | :25:51. | :25:59.
films earlier. We have had ` bit of patchy cloud spoiling the stnshine | :26:00. | :26:05.
but otherwise fine. Overnight tonight, the line of cloud will | :26:06. | :26:09.
gradually travel across the South West, bits of blue appearing, | :26:10. | :26:14.
outbreaks of light and patchy rain, not everywhere but most was waking | :26:15. | :26:17.
up with dampness on the grotnd on the windscreen and small amounts of | :26:18. | :26:22.
rain and a mild night compared to the last few nights. Temper`ture is | :26:23. | :26:28.
no lower than 13 or 14. A blanket of cloud keeping temperatures tp. | :26:29. | :26:32.
Tomorrow, a great start, misty but the sunshine will work throtgh | :26:33. | :26:36.
bringing Sunni ship `` sunnx spells. A few showers appearing from | :26:37. | :26:41.
the north most likely across the North of Somerset and Devon. Top | :26:42. | :26:49.
temperature around 19, posshbly 20, 68 Fahrenheit. For the Isles of | :26:50. | :26:53.
Scilly, we might see some mhst and low cloud and drizzle but it will | :26:54. | :26:57.
improve with sunshine briefly in the afternoon. The times of high | :26:58. | :26:59.
water... The coastal waters forecast has not | :27:00. | :27:16.
a great deal of wind, quite breezy but the wind will drop overnight. | :27:17. | :27:25.
Cloudy through the weekend, also quite foggy first thing on Saturday | :27:26. | :27:30.
but it should remain dry, the chance of light rain as a to start next | :27:31. | :27:34.
week. Have a nice evening! Thank you, David. That is it from | :27:35. | :27:39.
us. You can follow us on Facebook and see some of the films. We are | :27:40. | :27:45.
back at 6:30pm tomorrow. Have a evening. | :27:46. | :28:04.
