keep you updated online. That is all from us. Now the news

:00:00.:00:00.

where you are. Is Tonight on BBC London: The Bank

:00:00.:00:12.

of England warns the recent surge in house prices could end in a crash.

:00:13.:00:17.

It comes as London's most expensive flat is sold for ?140 million. And

:00:18.:00:26.

why the Bank of England is warning the boom may not be a good thing.

:00:27.:00:34.

In the last few minutes, the RMT have confirmed next week's strike is

:00:35.:00:37.

on. I will have all the details. Also tonight, 16 months in jail for

:00:38.:00:41.

the judge who lied to police, but criticism that the sentence is

:00:42.:00:42.

racist. And the artist who uses the humble

:00:43.:00:45.

ballpoint pen to create these amazing portraits.

:00:46.:00:58.

Good evening. The Bank of England has given a

:00:59.:01:03.

warning over rising house prices. One of it's deputy governors has

:01:04.:01:06.

said that while the market could cool down safely, a crash is his

:01:07.:01:11.

biggest worry. Sir Jon Cunliffe warned of complacency over the

:01:12.:01:14.

issue, and dropped strong hints that new measures could be taken to force

:01:15.:01:20.

the market to slow down. The warning comes as a penthouse in central

:01:21.:01:23.

London is reported to have been sold for ?140 million, which makes it

:01:24.:01:30.

London's most expensive flat. Sarah Harris is in Belgravia for us this

:01:31.:01:39.

evening. Yes, this is the toughest warning

:01:40.:01:44.

yet from the Bank of England about what it sees as this overheating of

:01:45.:01:48.

the property market. Of course, strongest here in the capital,

:01:49.:01:53.

nowhere more so than in this neck of the woods where exclusive properties

:01:54.:01:59.

have been going for record prices. This is the stunning first floor

:02:00.:02:03.

reception room. A multi`million pound Knightsbridge flat for sale.

:02:04.:02:07.

Interior designed by candy and candy, a similar style to the one

:02:08.:02:12.

that sold just around the corner at Hyde Park for a record ?140 million.

:02:13.:02:19.

These types of property are not on the market long, according to the

:02:20.:02:23.

estate agent, who believes prices will rise even further, with Eastern

:02:24.:02:28.

European buyers fighting over them. I can see it going higher if there

:02:29.:02:32.

are more than one or two parties bidding for the same property. This

:02:33.:02:36.

property in question is one of the best properties in London, in a key

:02:37.:02:43.

building, potentially one of the key buildings in the world. But this

:02:44.:02:47.

heat in the London property market was described as blinking on the

:02:48.:02:51.

dashboard by Sir John Cunliffe, deputy governor of the Bank of

:02:52.:02:55.

England. In a speech, he said there was a risk of a major overshoot in

:02:56.:02:59.

prices, followed by a sharp correction, with negative equity.

:03:00.:03:04.

Many economists think it is right to make the warning. There are so many

:03:05.:03:07.

things pushing up the price of housing, which is already too high.

:03:08.:03:12.

We never saw the end of the previous bubble. Instead of getting a bottom

:03:13.:03:16.

and a rise from a correct level, we are getting a sharp rise from a

:03:17.:03:21.

level that was already too high. It is estimated one in 15 London homes

:03:22.:03:26.

are now selling for over ?1 million. Many of the top end buyers are

:03:27.:03:31.

companies from overseas, and some analysts believe the government

:03:32.:03:33.

should make those transactions more costly. Any property purchase,

:03:34.:03:39.

whether through a trust, a company or individually, should pay all of

:03:40.:03:44.

the taxes due on a property purchase and sale. I think that is one

:03:45.:03:48.

thing, so we need to see through from the property to how it is held.

:03:49.:03:54.

With properties looking like this going for ?10,000 per square`foot in

:03:55.:03:57.

London, it might not be surprising the Bank of England is also dropping

:03:58.:04:01.

hints about measures to slow down the housing market in the months

:04:02.:04:06.

ahead. It is worth bearing in mind that the

:04:07.:04:10.

Bank of England can use this kind of rhetoric to try to dampen things

:04:11.:04:14.

estate agents, they are saying there estate agents, they are saying there

:04:15.:04:18.

is an almost insatiable demand for these kind of luxury flats. I think

:04:19.:04:23.

it may not be too long before these words have to be replaced by some

:04:24.:04:31.

action. Stay with us tonight, as there's

:04:32.:04:38.

lots more to come. We are lifelong Millwall supporters, and later in

:04:39.:04:41.

the show we will tell you why it is important for us to avoid relegation

:04:42.:04:48.

on Saturday. Next week's three`day Tube strike is

:04:49.:04:53.

on. Talks between the RMT union and London Underground have ended with

:04:54.:04:56.

the two sides failing to reach an agreement. It means the walk out

:04:57.:04:59.

looks set to begin on Bank Holiday Monday at 9pm. Tom Edwards is at

:05:00.:05:04.

ACAS headquarters where today's talks have been taking place.

:05:05.:05:15.

Yes, talks have been going on all day and I was told these were

:05:16.:05:19.

intense negotiations. We were hearing positive and negative

:05:20.:05:23.

noises, a real mix. Just a few moments ago, the RMT said talks had

:05:24.:05:29.

broken down, the strike is on. That means the strike is going to start

:05:30.:05:36.

from bank holiday Monday at 9pm, 472 hours, until Thursday night. The

:05:37.:05:42.

last time we had a 72 hour strike was in 2007. This is what John Leech

:05:43.:05:46.

from the RMT had to say a few moments ago. We came here and

:05:47.:05:51.

repeated the same message which we made last week, which was that if

:05:52.:05:57.

they would suspend the implementation of their plans to

:05:58.:05:59.

close every single London Underground ticket office, lose 953

:06:00.:06:05.

jobs from the front line, then we would suspend the industrial action.

:06:06.:06:09.

I am afraid to report that they haven't done that. They have not

:06:10.:06:14.

taken up our offer to suspend the action if they suspend their

:06:15.:06:17.

implementation. They spent eight hours talking about very little, so

:06:18.:06:21.

regrettably the strike is still on. Not good news for commuters. The

:06:22.:06:28.

sticking point seems to be these 950 job losses and the review of ticket

:06:29.:06:33.

office closures. What can commuters expect? Disruption will be

:06:34.:06:38.

significant. London Underground managed to run 52% of services but

:06:39.:06:42.

that still meant a lot of problems for a lot of people trying to get

:06:43.:06:45.

round in the capital. Long`term, this doesn't look good. This dispute

:06:46.:06:52.

is getting increasingly bitter and ugly. London Underground have just

:06:53.:06:56.

come out here. What they have said is that they are extremely

:06:57.:07:05.

disappointed with what has happened. A part`time judge who was found

:07:06.:07:08.

guilty of trying to pervert the course of justice has been jailed

:07:09.:07:11.

for 16 months. Constance Briscoe was convicted at the Old Bailey of lying

:07:12.:07:14.

to police who were investigating claims that the former Cabinet

:07:15.:07:17.

minister Chris Huhne had passed speeding points to his wife. Today's

:07:18.:07:21.

sentence has been described as racist by the Society of Black

:07:22.:07:35.

Lawyers, as Chris Rogers reports. Constance Briscoe, one of Britain's

:07:36.:07:39.

first black female judges. She now has an addition to her impressive

:07:40.:07:43.

CV, the first serving judge convicted of perverting the course

:07:44.:07:47.

of justice. Her downfall was her determination to help her friend,

:07:48.:07:51.

Vicky Pryce, politically destroy her husband, former energy minister

:07:52.:07:55.

Chris Huhne, by revealing to newspapers that he had persuaded her

:07:56.:07:58.

to take speeding points on her licence. The subsequent

:07:59.:08:01.

investigation led to the pair being prosecuted. The final chapter in the

:08:02.:08:06.

scandal is Constance Briscoe's 16 month jail term. The sentence is

:08:07.:08:12.

double the eight months that Chris Huhne and his ex`wife Vicky Pryce

:08:13.:08:14.

each received for the original offence, in which he passed speeding

:08:15.:08:20.

points on to her. It is a punishment that has widely been seen as a

:08:21.:08:23.

message that nobody is above the law. But the Society of Black

:08:24.:08:29.

lawyers have condemned the sentence as excessive and racially motivated.

:08:30.:08:35.

What it shows is that still in these days we have the resonance of

:08:36.:08:41.

slavery and colonialism, and really blatant, in your face racism, where

:08:42.:08:45.

people can't see what they're doing. The justice system has a long

:08:46.:08:49.

history of disparity of treatment of black women, where we are still

:08:50.:08:54.

overrepresented in prison. Human rights lawyers have told us the

:08:55.:08:57.

sentencing is fair as Constance Briscoe was found guilty on three

:08:58.:09:02.

counts of perverting the course of justice, including falsifying

:09:03.:09:04.

documents to explain her role in getting the story into the press.

:09:05.:09:08.

The judge make clear this was three counts of perverting the course of

:09:09.:09:12.

justice she was found guilty of, and that she is a part`time judge who

:09:13.:09:17.

disgraced the justice system. You have to see it for what it really

:09:18.:09:24.

is. This is on the back`end of other people's unlawful behaviour. The

:09:25.:09:28.

Society of Black lawyers plan to lodge a formal complaint. Meanwhile,

:09:29.:09:31.

the BBC has learned Constance Briscoe faces further enquiries over

:09:32.:09:35.

her actions during a libel case brought against her by her own

:09:36.:09:39.

mother. An award winning head teacher faces

:09:40.:09:42.

being struck off after admitting a string of expense offences which

:09:43.:09:44.

include charging the school ?7000 for her birthday party. Jo Shuter

:09:45.:09:50.

had been credited with turning around Quintin Kynaston Academy in

:09:51.:09:53.

St John's Wood but now, she's been found guilty of "unacceptable

:09:54.:09:58.

professional conduct". Marc Ashdown reports.

:09:59.:10:03.

A darling of top politicians, a CBE, once head teacher of the year, now

:10:04.:10:06.

Jo Shuter's career in education could be over. She turned around

:10:07.:10:14.

Quintin Kynaston School, but in 2012 a whistle`blower raised concerns

:10:15.:10:20.

over finances. An investigation found she was personally paid

:10:21.:10:22.

?28,000 for public speaking in school time, and ?13,000 was claimed

:10:23.:10:25.

for overnight hotel stays for senior managers. ?7000 was spent on her own

:10:26.:10:34.

50th birthday party. Furniture for the school worth ?1500 was delivered

:10:35.:10:39.

to her home. Overall, they raised queries over at least ?40,000 in the

:10:40.:10:45.

budget. Jo Shuter resigned in June and this week admitted a large

:10:46.:10:51.

number of the allegations. This is the report into this professional

:10:52.:10:54.

misconduct hearing and in it the panel say they are satisfied Jo

:10:55.:10:57.

Shuter is guilty of unacceptable professional conduct, and they say

:10:58.:10:59.

they are taking into account the role of teachers, especially

:11:00.:11:02.

headteachers, and their influence on pupils, parents and the community.

:11:03.:11:09.

They say they should be viewed as role models. And the maximum

:11:10.:11:15.

punishment they can hand down is what is called a prohibition order,

:11:16.:11:17.

which would effectively see her struck off the teaching register in

:11:18.:11:22.

England. Some of the money was paid back, but Westminster Council

:11:23.:11:24.

referred the case to the regulator and said they felt it was too

:11:25.:11:32.

serious not to take further. She admitted using her school personal

:11:33.:11:34.

assistant to sort out speaking engagements and book holiday flights

:11:35.:11:37.

for friends and family, arrange rental of her luxury villa in a

:11:38.:11:40.

Turkish hotspot, all in office hours. There were also numerous

:11:41.:11:47.

personal taxi journeys charged to the school, and phones and an iPad

:11:48.:11:52.

for her children paid for, too. Some travel expenses were claimed twice.

:11:53.:11:57.

The panel did say the allegations did not refer to dishonesty or

:11:58.:12:00.

fraud, and some believe the story might not be over. We should not

:12:01.:12:04.

forget there is potentially a police investigation that has yet to be

:12:05.:12:09.

completed. So unfortunately this may go on a bit longer, but not

:12:10.:12:16.

necessarily at QK. I was trying to get through to Jo Shuter. She is

:12:17.:12:19.

currently head of another school in east London and was not available

:12:20.:12:22.

for comment. If the panel recommends a ban, the Secretary of State

:12:23.:12:25.

Michael Gove will have to decide whether she is fit to continue.

:12:26.:12:30.

It's emerged a Metropolitan Police detective has been dismissed after

:12:31.:12:33.

allegations that he sexually assaulted two colleagues. Detective

:12:34.:12:38.

Constable Alex Manz who lives in Surrey, was arrested in January last

:12:39.:12:41.

year after an investigation by The Met's specialist Rape and Sexual

:12:42.:12:46.

Violence Unit. Alice Bhandhukravi joins me to tell us more on this.

:12:47.:12:57.

Detective can Alex Manz was accused of sexually assaulting two female

:12:58.:13:01.

colleagues whilst off duty, but the alleged victims did not want to

:13:02.:13:05.

testify against him, so the Crown Prosecution Service decided there

:13:06.:13:07.

was not enough evidence to prosecute him. However, the Metropolitan

:13:08.:13:13.

Police internal watchdog, the directorate of professional

:13:14.:13:16.

standards, carried out its own investigation and Alex Manz was

:13:17.:13:19.

found guilty of gross misconduct and dismissed last October. What is even

:13:20.:13:24.

more disturbing was the fact that Alex Manz was a member of that

:13:25.:13:27.

internal watchdog, whose role is to look into the conduct of police

:13:28.:13:33.

officers. Not only that, but he was the family liaison officer for the

:13:34.:13:37.

family of Mark Duggan after Mark Duggan was shot by police in 2011.

:13:38.:13:43.

As such, he gave evidence to the IPCC. As we know, that was one of

:13:44.:13:47.

the most high profile cases that The Met has ever had to handle. Many

:13:48.:13:52.

people will be surprised by this but what have the Metropolitan Police

:13:53.:13:57.

copter say? They have been criticised for not disclosing

:13:58.:14:00.

information about this case until it was revealed by the Evening

:14:01.:14:04.

Standard. They have defended that position by saying it is not common

:14:05.:14:07.

practice for the police to put this kind of information in the public

:14:08.:14:11.

domain, given that there were no criminal proceedings. They also

:14:12.:14:15.

faced questions over how it is that this former police officer is still

:14:16.:14:20.

entitled to a full police pension. They have said that in order to

:14:21.:14:24.

forfeit his pension, police regulations require an officer to

:14:25.:14:28.

have been convicted. And in this case that is not the situation.

:14:29.:14:35.

Still to come before the end of the programme: Creating an amazing

:14:36.:14:39.

likeness using just a ballpoint pen. We speak to the artist who's adopted

:14:40.:14:41.

a very humble tool for his work. With European and local elections

:14:42.:14:56.

less than three weeks away, political parties have stepped`up

:14:57.:14:58.

their campaigning. And nowhere is that more apparent than in Croydon.

:14:59.:15:03.

The town that was hit by riots over two and half years ago is host to

:15:04.:15:06.

London's tightest contest for control of the town hall. Our

:15:07.:15:11.

political correspondent Karl Mercer has been to the area for this

:15:12.:15:20.

report. The people of Croydon are used to

:15:21.:15:24.

the hard sell and once every four years they get it in spades.

:15:25.:15:29.

Election time has arrived in one of the capital's key battle grounds.

:15:30.:15:33.

Croydon is the tightest fight in this year's local elections in

:15:34.:15:39.

London. Since 2006, it has been a battle between Labour and the

:15:40.:15:42.

Conservative Party. The difference is just for seats at the moment. It

:15:43.:15:46.

is a town that has suffered mixed fortunes. The riots of 2011 brought

:15:47.:15:53.

it unwelcome attention. Last year, more positive news. Plans unveiled

:15:54.:15:56.

for the redevelopment of the town centre. Mike has been the Tory do

:15:57.:16:01.

for the last eight years. He wants to stay on. One of the key things is

:16:02.:16:07.

council tax. People remember the last Labour council. They doubled

:16:08.:16:14.

council tax over 12 years. 27% one`year. Compare that to our record

:16:15.:16:19.

where people this year are paying the same or less than four years

:16:20.:16:24.

ago. For people finding it difficult financially, it is a real issue.

:16:25.:16:31.

Have you seen our manifesto? Same old from the Tories. Labour has a

:16:32.:16:37.

clear pledge that we would freeze the council tax in 2015 will stop we

:16:38.:16:43.

voted to freeze it this year as well. We will put that before the

:16:44.:16:47.

people of Croydon. We have got a manifesto for the town. The

:16:48.:16:52.

Conservatives have yet to publish a manifesto.

:16:53.:16:57.

parties, but it does not mean they parties, but it does not mean they

:16:58.:17:02.

have given up hope. There are people have given up hope. There are people

:17:03.:17:06.

up and Billy Morgan `` unrepresented. We need another pair

:17:07.:17:10.

of eyes watching over their mistakes `` there are people unrepresented.

:17:11.:17:17.

UKIP is standing more candidates in Croydon than any other borough. It

:17:18.:17:23.

is by no means certain we would support the Tories. I can envisage

:17:24.:17:32.

supporting some of our members `` I can envisage supporting Labour. The

:17:33.:17:39.

centre of the borough has always been a battle between Labour and the

:17:40.:17:48.

Tories. UKIP could win votes off both parties. It is very close.

:17:49.:17:52.

Which means lots more of this over the next couple of weeks.

:17:53.:17:55.

And there's a full list of candidates standing for election in

:17:56.:17:59.

Croydon on the council's website. Their address is on your screen now.

:18:00.:18:06.

Time to look ahead at the sport. Crucial games being played this

:18:07.:18:19.

weekend. Massive weekend for London's clubs. Tomorrow is the last

:18:20.:18:22.

day of the Championship season and the Millwall fans will be in full

:18:23.:18:25.

voice at the Den, needing a win against Bournemouth to stay in the

:18:26.:18:28.

Championship. The Lions' supporters are going through the mill once

:18:29.:18:31.

again after they faced a similar conundrum last season. I went to

:18:32.:18:34.

meet the fans and Millwall manager Ian Holloway to see how their nerves

:18:35.:18:36.

are holding up. Last week in the last minute of

:18:37.:18:40.

extra time Millwall were thrown a championship lifeline. It is in! How

:18:41.:18:45.

important could that be! Extremely important. To explain the

:18:46.:18:49.

significance I went to the cafe to meet up with lifelong fans Stan and

:18:50.:18:56.

Ted. To get to the last game and still be involved, it is quite

:18:57.:19:00.

exciting. You look forward to those moments. I do not want anyone

:19:01.:19:06.

looking at me on the telly when I am crying my eyes out at the end of the

:19:07.:19:10.

game. The responsibility and the chance to win. There is also the

:19:11.:19:16.

chance to lose, but it is having the chance to win. As they Millwall

:19:17.:19:22.

supporter, it is never easy. We have to do it the hard way. If Millwall

:19:23.:19:29.

lose or draw, they have to rely on the results of Birmingham and

:19:30.:19:34.

Doncaster. But if they win, they stay up. It is the easiest and least

:19:35.:19:39.

stressful result for everyone. It means the players have decided there

:19:40.:19:44.

will be no phone or radio updates from the dugout or in the dressing

:19:45.:19:53.

room. People will be listening to the radio. We cannot afford to do

:19:54.:19:58.

that. It is like a tennis player. If you throw the ball up to serve and

:19:59.:20:01.

then look away, you have no chance of hitting it. The fans have to act

:20:02.:20:13.

as the 12th man, an area Millwall fans consider themselves to be the

:20:14.:20:16.

best at. When you have experienced it, you know, you just know. This is

:20:17.:20:27.

our life. Millwall fans make the noise of 100,000 people. It will be

:20:28.:20:32.

something like that on Saturday. In its history, Millwall has pretty

:20:33.:20:37.

much seen and done it all. Cup finals, relegations, promotions. The

:20:38.:20:44.

hope is tomorrow that it will all be about survival.

:20:45.:20:46.

Good luck to Millwall tomorrow against Bournemouth, but it's not

:20:47.:20:49.

just the Lions with a challenging weekend. Reading need a win to

:20:50.:20:52.

secure their place alongside QPR in the Championship play`offs. In

:20:53.:20:54.

League Two, Wycombe Wanders could drop out of the Football League

:20:55.:20:57.

altogether after losing to Bristol Rovers last weekend. They need a win

:20:58.:21:00.

away at Torquay and to hope that other results go their way. It all

:21:01.:21:05.

promises to be quite an afternoon and you can re`live everything that

:21:06.:21:08.

happens on our football show, Late Kick Off, on bank holiday Monday at

:21:09.:21:12.

11.35pm with presenter Mark Clemmit. But if you can't wait that long, of

:21:13.:21:15.

course our radio station BBC London 94.9FM will be following the

:21:16.:21:18.

fortunes of all the capital's clubs this weekend. Including bringing you

:21:19.:21:22.

full commentary of Fulham's vital Premier League clash with Stoke. The

:21:23.:21:26.

Whites could be relegated if they lose and other results go against

:21:27.:21:29.

them. Relegation would mean an end to Fulham's 13`year stay in

:21:30.:21:37.

football's top flight. I think there is no doubt about it. We need three

:21:38.:21:49.

points. In order to have the chance to not be relegated. That is the

:21:50.:21:54.

situation, I think. There is nothing to say about it.

:21:55.:22:01.

And lastly it was disappointment for Olympic taekwondo bronze medallist

:22:02.:22:03.

Lutalo Muhammad. He failed to defend his under 87kg European title in

:22:04.:22:06.

Azerbaijan today. The 22`year`old from Walthamstow had to settle for

:22:07.:22:09.

third place. That's all the sport. Big, big weekend ahead. But for now,

:22:10.:22:15.

back to you, Asad. It is a very big weekend. I know you

:22:16.:22:21.

like your art, so take a look at this. This famous image of Audrey

:22:22.:22:27.

Hepburn shows her in one of her most famous roles as Holly Golightly in

:22:28.:22:30.

the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany's. And although you may

:22:31.:22:33.

think you've seen this particular picture before, let me tell you, you

:22:34.:22:35.

haven't. There's something very special about what you see behind

:22:36.:22:38.

me. Wendy Hurrell explains what it is.

:22:39.:22:44.

Portrait of an artist, but this is not a photograph, it is not even a

:22:45.:22:54.

painting, look again. It is made with a ballpoint pen. Even when you

:22:55.:22:58.

are looking at it close`up, you still cannot quite believe it. I

:22:59.:23:03.

have had people look at the backs of drawings to make sure they were not

:23:04.:23:07.

fakes. People think they are photos. Some pieces of James's art have

:23:08.:23:13.

taken him 300 hours. If he makes a mistake, he risks having to start

:23:14.:23:20.

again. You cannot use Tippex because you can see it. If it is an

:23:21.:23:23.

emergency, you can get a scalpel but about as a risk because it can make

:23:24.:23:31.

it worse. Other ballpoints are available, but this is what he uses.

:23:32.:23:39.

Once cutting`edge technology, today it is a common implement. The bit by

:23:40.:23:46.

road. A typical drawing has over a million pen strokes. `` Bic Biro. He

:23:47.:23:59.

is something of a pioneer in photorealistic artwork. His latest

:24:00.:24:04.

draughtsmanship is on show until the 6th of May in Notting Hill. He has

:24:05.:24:13.

royal ambition. It would be great to do a royal portrait. That would be

:24:14.:24:18.

amazing. The ultimate. That would be amazing. Prince George! Why not?

:24:19.:24:29.

What an incredibly talented man. Now it is time for the weather forecast.

:24:30.:24:35.

We had rain yesterday, cloudy today, but we should have a decent amount

:24:36.:24:41.

of sunshine as we head through the next few days. Things are improving.

:24:42.:24:46.

Most of us had a dry day today. A weak cold front sliding southwards.

:24:47.:24:51.

Over the last few hours, it has produced isolated showers. Looking

:24:52.:24:57.

upstream, we have got clearer skies coming down from the North. They are

:24:58.:25:01.

not far away from the capital now. Give it another two or three hours,

:25:02.:25:06.

we will see all of the cloud go. Overnight, temperatures will drop

:25:07.:25:11.

like a stone. Clear skies with light winds. It will be called. In the

:25:12.:25:15.

centre of town, temperatures hovering around four, five degrees.

:25:16.:25:20.

Out in the countryside, a cold night with pockets of frost and the lowest

:25:21.:25:28.

temperatures down to minus one. Warmer around the Thames Street.

:25:29.:25:32.

Tomorrow's forecast. A decent day coming up. Cold start. But plenty of

:25:33.:25:38.

sunshine. Clear blue skies for most of us. As we head into the

:25:39.:25:41.

afternoon, there will be subtle changes with more cloud floating

:25:42.:25:45.

across the skies from the north`east. Still bright with sunny

:25:46.:25:51.

spells and a dry day. Temperatures up to 15 degrees in the centre of

:25:52.:25:56.

town, 14 or so for Guildford. Around the coasts of Essex and Kent, cooler

:25:57.:26:03.

and fresher. Onshore winds. That takes us on through Saturday

:26:04.:26:08.

evening, should stay fine and dry. The second half of the Bang, day

:26:09.:26:12.

weekend, Sunday and Monday, we will keep the high`pressure `` the bank

:26:13.:26:19.

holiday weekend. The good news is the weather forecast is for more dry

:26:20.:26:24.

weather through Sunday. It will be quite cloudy. Increasing sunshine on

:26:25.:26:30.

Monday. Temperatures climbing. Highs potentially of 19 degrees.

:26:31.:26:33.

Not bad at all. The tube strike. The three days of

:26:34.:26:43.

action is juju start on Monday at 90 after talks ended within the past

:26:44.:26:48.

hour without agreement. This is what London Underground had to say. We

:26:49.:26:52.

will be prepared to go through every station by station as a review. We

:26:53.:26:58.

said we would put on hold any voluntary severance. The reaction

:26:59.:27:02.

was, we do not think we can accept that, we will take this information

:27:03.:27:05.

back to the executive and I will not be recommending it. The strike is

:27:06.:27:11.

still going ahead on Monday. They rest often I's main news. The

:27:12.:27:15.

publicist Max Clifford has been jailed for eight years for

:27:16.:27:17.

indecently assaulting young girls and women. The judge said he had

:27:18.:27:22.

exploited his position in the world of entertainment.

:27:23.:27:28.

Pro`Russian activists using surface`to`air missiles have shot

:27:29.:27:31.

down Ukrainian helicopters. The government in Kiev says a pilot and

:27:32.:27:36.

a serviceman was killed. I will be back later. Have a good

:27:37.:27:41.

evening. Men are even less tolerant of women

:27:42.:28:06.

than they were before. It's shocking it'd happen

:28:07.:28:07.

in a public place. I don't find it funny,

:28:08.:28:12.

but I don't find it offensive. It really is vile.

:28:13.:28:14.

Shock value sells.
