Good evening. This is BBC Newsline with Donna Traynor and Noel | :00:20. | :00:25.
Thompson. The headlines this Tuesday evening. | :00:25. | :00:29.
They Ballymena man who raped a pensioner had been out of prison | :00:29. | :00:35.
for just two days. He had raped before that. He got out and raped | :00:35. | :00:39.
someone else. It is claimed that the son of one of the Troubles most | :00:39. | :00:42.
notorious terrorists was the getaway driver in the Massereene | :00:42. | :00:45.
murders. Where men move into try to prevent | :00:45. | :00:49.
any more landslides at homes in Londonderry. | :00:49. | :00:53.
PGA referee quits after a club involved in a mass brawl was given | :00:53. | :00:58.
a reprieve. A white some of our top sports men and women may miss out | :00:59. | :01:05.
on a place in next year's Olympic Games. And after today's chill, it | :01:05. | :01:07.
might temperatures tomorrow will be closer to those of mid-to-late | :01:07. | :01:16.
April. The police have defended how sex offenders are monitored in the | :01:16. | :01:21.
community after news that a Ballymena man raped a 74-year-old | :01:21. | :01:25.
woman within two days of being freed from custody. 26-year-old | :01:25. | :01:29.
Barry Johnston will be sentenced next month for what has been | :01:29. | :01:32.
described as a vicious and diabolical crime. A group which | :01:32. | :01:35.
works with rape victim says the case raises serious questions | :01:36. | :01:39.
because Johnston had not only been convicted for a previous rape, but | :01:39. | :01:46.
had also breached the sex offences order. The court was told that | :01:46. | :01:50.
Barry Johnston's elderly victim had pleaded with him after he entered | :01:50. | :01:56.
her house in August last year. The pensioner said to him, have mercy | :01:56. | :02:03.
on me, I am an old woman. He went ahead and rector. After the attack, | :02:03. | :02:06.
he told her not to reported, but she confided in a neighbour and the | :02:06. | :02:11.
police were alerted and Johnston was arrested on the basis of DNA | :02:11. | :02:15.
evidence. Johnston has a previous rape conviction and had served a | :02:15. | :02:20.
sentence. The latest attack happened two days after he was | :02:20. | :02:24.
released from custody for breaching a sex offences order in relation to | :02:24. | :02:30.
that prior conviction. A rape victims' group said it is concerned. | :02:30. | :02:33.
Obviously there are different categories of sex offenders and I | :02:33. | :02:38.
cannot category --, De more category he was in. There should | :02:38. | :02:44.
have been more robust protocols put in place, because someone has been | :02:44. | :02:51.
grievously damaged as a result of this. In the vast majority of cases, | :02:51. | :02:55.
these work, but in this case, we cannot always predict what will | :02:55. | :02:59.
happen and unfortunately these things do happen. The PSNI | :02:59. | :03:02.
described the attack on the pensioner as horrendous and | :03:02. | :03:06.
diabolical. The court was told that Barry Johnston's victim was at risk | :03:07. | :03:10.
of suffering from clinical depression and was unlikely to | :03:10. | :03:15.
return it to be the person she was before the attack. Johnston also | :03:15. | :03:24.
admitted possessing drugs and will be sentenced here on sixth January. | :03:24. | :03:28.
A son of one of Northern Ireland's most notorious terrorists, Dominic | :03:28. | :03:32.
McGlinchey, has been named in court as the getaway driver in the murder | :03:32. | :03:36.
of two soldiers at Massereene Barracks. The claim was made by a | :03:37. | :03:40.
barrister representing Colin Duffy, one of two men accused of the | :03:40. | :03:49.
murders. Dominic McGlinchey, a self-confessed killer, was shot | :03:49. | :03:54.
dead in chocolate heir in 1994. Today, the court was told that one | :03:54. | :03:58.
of his sons was the driver of the car used during the attack in | :03:58. | :04:02.
Massereene Barracks which code soldiers' Mark Quinsey and Patrick | :04:03. | :04:09.
Azimkar. The claim was made by the defence barrister For: Duffy. He | :04:09. | :04:13.
told the court that police have reliable information to indicate | :04:13. | :04:18.
that one of the McGlinchey sons drove the car. He said both Dominic | :04:18. | :04:21.
junior and his brother Declan had been arrested and questioned about | :04:21. | :04:26.
the offences. The court also heard from Colin Duffy's wife. She said | :04:26. | :04:30.
her husband had been at home on the night of the attack, that she | :04:30. | :04:33.
remembered the date because they had been tired after attending a | :04:34. | :04:38.
friend's wedding the day before. Martine Duffy said she believed the | :04:38. | :04:41.
attack on the soldiers was absolutely terrible and she | :04:41. | :04:45.
believed those responsible should be cut. It is awful she said that | :04:45. | :04:51.
my husband should be accused of it, but summing up the case, the | :04:51. | :04:53.
prosecution barrister Terence Mooney said there could be no | :04:54. | :04:58.
innocent explanation for DNA been found in the getaway car, | :04:58. | :05:02.
particularly Colin Duffy's on the tip of a latex glove for. He said | :05:03. | :05:06.
it was related to the attack and was obviously present and had | :05:06. | :05:11.
become detached from a glove worn by a terrorist who was trying to | :05:11. | :05:14.
prevent traces of forensic material which could make a link between the | :05:14. | :05:18.
terrace, the car itself and the attack. The court is entitled to | :05:19. | :05:24.
draw inferences adverse to Duffy because he failed to give evidence. | :05:24. | :05:27.
But Barry MacDonald QC said they were such complete absence of | :05:27. | :05:31.
evidence against Colin Duffy that the prosecution did not know what | :05:31. | :05:36.
case to make against 10. He said he was not a gun man nor of the driver | :05:36. | :05:39.
of the car and inviting the just to draw an inference for him failing | :05:39. | :05:44.
to take the stand was dangerous and entering a miscarriage of justice | :05:44. | :05:51.
territory. The case continues. A man charged with the murder of a | :05:51. | :05:55.
Crossmaglen man in Duntocher has been found dead in a holding cell | :05:55. | :05:59.
at Dublin court house. Shane Rogers was accused of shooting the man 10 | :05:59. | :06:03.
days ago and was on suicide watch. It is understood he took his own | :06:03. | :06:08.
life. The Prison Service and Bacardi are investigating. | :06:08. | :06:11.
On BBC Newsline last night we reported that the police were | :06:11. | :06:14.
investigating six allegations of abuse at Lissue Children's Hospital | :06:14. | :06:17.
and Forster Green Hospital it, including one which was alleged to | :06:17. | :06:22.
have happened this year. This was based on a request made to the | :06:22. | :06:25.
police under the Freedom of Information Act. The police have | :06:25. | :06:29.
now clarified that they are not investigating any reports of abuse | :06:29. | :06:34.
from this year. He now the latest on the dangerous | :06:34. | :06:38.
wall that has caused landslides behind -- beside terraced housing | :06:39. | :06:43.
in Londonderry. Work by contractors to secure the area in and around | :06:43. | :06:47.
Marlborough Terrace began this afternoon with emergency funding | :06:47. | :06:50.
coming from the Department of the Environment. Kevin Sharkey has been | :06:50. | :06:55.
reporting since the first landslide last week. We were told a residents | :06:55. | :07:01.
may have to leave their homes because of the danger? Well, they | :07:01. | :07:05.
have not had to leave their homes and I contended there is a lot of | :07:05. | :07:08.
relief at that, because it is Christmas week and who wants to | :07:08. | :07:13.
have to leave their homes during Christmas week? If there was relief | :07:13. | :07:18.
at this, there is even more relieved that the clear up after a | :07:18. | :07:25.
long, hard and anxious week is now underway. The force of nature | :07:25. | :07:31.
brought much of this wall down, now it is the turn of man and machine. | :07:31. | :07:37.
They are making it safe. This is how a quarter of a million pounds | :07:37. | :07:41.
is helping to stabilise a huge bit of earth, and dangerous land bank | :07:41. | :07:46.
behind one row of terraced housing above another. It collapsed in the | :07:46. | :07:52.
last week twice. It smashed a band and two cause and wrecking a car | :07:52. | :07:59.
workshop, leaving this community facing safety and health risks. Now, | :07:59. | :08:03.
almost a week after that first landslide, action. Contractors | :08:03. | :08:10.
accompanied by heavy machinery and heavier materials, a week-long | :08:10. | :08:13.
crisis needing this emergency response. This is a story of | :08:13. | :08:19.
families, their fears and worries. Lives disrupted in Christmas week. | :08:19. | :08:25.
Today, a little irony, a lot of noise at bringing calm and | :08:25. | :08:33.
reassurance to the people living here. Well, there is a lot of | :08:33. | :08:36.
relief around a Marlborough Terrace that this work is now under way | :08:36. | :08:46.
:08:46. | :08:47. | ||
after such a difficult week. I am joined by a member of Derry city | :08:47. | :08:49.
Council. Relief from everyone concerned? Absolutely. The | :08:49. | :08:53.
contractor was appointed first thing this morning and as you can | :08:53. | :08:56.
see, there is a considerable rump above activity and a large amount | :08:56. | :09:01.
of work has been completed to stabilise some of the priority | :09:01. | :09:05.
areas and there is a programme of work advanced over the next couple | :09:05. | :09:12.
of days. Thank you. Derry city Council has been playing a lead | :09:12. | :09:15.
role along with other agencies including the Department of the | :09:16. | :09:19.
Environment, but most of all this story is about people and families | :09:19. | :09:24.
and residents, among them this woman. Marion, it has been a long | :09:24. | :09:30.
and difficult week for you. Very stressful. Very worrying for | :09:30. | :09:40.
everyone. Bank got it is started. I would like to thank everyone. | :09:40. | :09:43.
Everyone will be safe and well and we will all have a nice Christmas | :09:43. | :09:49.
and sleep the better. Thank you for joining us. It has been such a | :09:49. | :09:54.
difficult week for all concerned. Everyone is very happy comet with | :09:54. | :10:00.
days to go to Christmas, that this work is now under way. Thank you. | :10:00. | :10:03.
A formal Anglo-Irish Bank at a factory in County Cavan under | :10:03. | :10:06.
surveillance after hearing that the businessman Sean Quinn was planning | :10:06. | :10:10.
to start a new company there. The details emerged during a High Court | :10:10. | :10:15.
hearing with the bank is trying to have this bankruptcy in Northern | :10:15. | :10:18.
Ireland over terms. The bank says that Sean Quinn who until recently | :10:18. | :10:24.
was reported to be Ireland's richest man, close at about 2.4 | :10:24. | :10:27.
billion. Arab business correspondent Kevin Magee has the | :10:27. | :10:32.
latest on the court challenge. Sean Quinn's bankruptcy in Northern | :10:32. | :10:36.
Ireland has been challenged by lawyers from the former anger -- | :10:36. | :10:43.
Anglo-Irish Bank. They argue that he is based in the Republic and | :10:43. | :10:49.
should have been the bank up there. He would face much longer periods | :10:50. | :10:54.
of disqualification there. He claims the centre of his business | :10:54. | :10:56.
interest has a whole has always been in Derrylin in County | :10:56. | :11:01.
Fermanagh. Mr Quinn's barrister said the affairs of the Quinn | :11:01. | :11:05.
family were conducted from Derrylin and it was custom and practice for | :11:05. | :11:10.
the banks to send all Quinn family correspondence to the former Queen | :11:10. | :11:13.
headquarters in Derrylin. He said that Mr Quinn as the UK National | :11:13. | :11:18.
Insurance number and was drawing the UK state pension. After the | :11:18. | :11:21.
bank effectively told him to leave his Derrylin headquarters, he says | :11:21. | :11:26.
he moved to another premises in this industrial park, but the bank | :11:26. | :11:30.
insists his business is really best -- based where he lives south of | :11:30. | :11:35.
the border. Earlier, the court was told by the Bank that it had | :11:35. | :11:38.
engaged a security firm to gather information on Mr Quinn after it | :11:39. | :11:44.
had seen rumours on a wet side that he was planning to start a new | :11:44. | :11:48.
business in the disused factory in County Cavan. It was denied that Mr | :11:48. | :11:51.
Quinn were members of his family had been watched by the Dublin- | :11:51. | :11:55.
based security firm. He said that people born not been followed and | :11:55. | :11:59.
that surveillance was too strong a word for what was happening. | :11:59. | :12:06.
Judgment has been reserved and will be delivered in the New Year. | :12:06. | :12:09.
A GAA referee has said he is quitting the game because sanctions | :12:09. | :12:12.
imposed on a club whose members attacked him have been watered down | :12:12. | :12:16.
on appeal. Ray Matthews was assaulted in the autumn and the | :12:16. | :12:19.
club from Rasharkin in County Antrim was banned from competition. | :12:19. | :12:25.
Now it has been told will be allowed to play. It was the day the | :12:25. | :12:29.
GAA laid down a marker to its members. Lengthy bands and | :12:29. | :12:33.
expulsions for 10 people from Rasharkin's GAA club involved in an | :12:33. | :12:37.
assault on a referee. The plant itself kicked out of senior hurling | :12:37. | :12:42.
and football for the entire year. It was an attack on Ray Matthews | :12:42. | :12:47.
Bitts Park debt. He was the victim of a sustained physical assault | :12:47. | :12:51.
after a close-fought and controversial under 21 match in | :12:51. | :12:55.
October. Another of the officials who was there described the scene | :12:55. | :13:03.
it to BBC Newsline at the time. those people had not been there, we | :13:04. | :13:09.
would not have stood a chance. were fearful for you live? I were | :13:09. | :13:15.
not say for my life, but from a good kicking, yes. Antrim county | :13:15. | :13:18.
board which handed out the sanctions was praised for its | :13:18. | :13:22.
stance, tackling the kind of thuggish behaviour which Mars GAA | :13:22. | :13:27.
matches and indicating that match officials would be protected. | :13:27. | :13:31.
Rasharkin did not question the individual sanctions but did appear | :13:31. | :13:35.
that a band to the Ulster Council and it has now been rescinded. | :13:35. | :13:40.
Rasharkin GAA will be able to play in senior competition but will not | :13:40. | :13:45.
have home fixtures and that move has angered Ray Matthews who today | :13:45. | :13:49.
told BBC Newsline that he decided to quit over it. He said that he | :13:49. | :13:53.
feared for his life the day of the assault and that he was extremely | :13:53. | :13:58.
annoyed, disappointed and disgusted at the appeal decision. Referees he | :13:58. | :14:04.
said had been left high and dry by what had happened. There are two | :14:04. | :14:07.
schools of thought in the GAA about this. The first is that by banning | :14:07. | :14:13.
the entire club, the Antrim county board was that -- punishing all the | :14:14. | :14:18.
members for something only some of them were involved in. If the GAA | :14:18. | :14:21.
is serious about tackling violence in sport, it suggests, particularly | :14:21. | :14:25.
those directed at match officials, it has to stand by the sanctions | :14:25. | :14:30.
and that by watering them down, the Ulster Council is sending GAA fans | :14:30. | :14:40.
:14:40. | :14:40. | ||
Still to come: They drive the fastest cars in the world but that | :14:40. | :14:46.
is not all they have in common. And Santa's helpers get ready for | :14:46. | :14:55.
their big night. They are all of them in their. | :14:55. | :15:00.
250 motorists have been called -- caught drinking and driving in the | :15:01. | :15:06.
past few weeks. The three were four times over the alcohol limit. So | :15:06. | :15:11.
drunk that they couldn't stand up. If you have been driving out over | :15:11. | :15:16.
the last few weeks, you may have been stopped by a police officer. | :15:16. | :15:20.
Often it ends up being a friendly chat but the police have court does | :15:20. | :15:26.
of motorists who have had too much to drink. Since they started their | :15:26. | :15:31.
campaign on 25th November, the police have stopped 250 drink- | :15:31. | :15:37.
drivers. That is 28 more than last year. In 2010, fewer people were | :15:37. | :15:42.
driving because of the snow. The oldest was 72 and the youngest was | :15:42. | :15:47.
16. Some motorists who failed a breath tests were very drunk. | :15:47. | :15:54.
highest we have had his 155. The legal prefaced 35 so that is over | :15:54. | :15:59.
four times the legal limit. That is falling down drunk are witches | :15:59. | :16:03.
utter madness. The risk that they pose to themselves is bad enough | :16:04. | :16:11.
but the risk to motorists going about their normal business is vast. | :16:11. | :16:21.
TV adverts like this are direct and often graphic. The police say they | :16:21. | :16:25.
are disappointed that so many people are still ignoring the | :16:25. | :16:32.
warnings. A 34 year-old man has been in court | :16:32. | :16:35.
charged with the man's daughter of a Coleraine father of three at the | :16:35. | :16:41.
weekend. Colin McLeister died after falling down the stairs at Tayport | :16:41. | :16:46.
rush nightclub. The man was charged with unlawful killing on 17th | :16:46. | :16:53.
December. Police made -- believe there was a row on that night. | :16:53. | :16:59.

last night was Christopher Connor, the 20 year-old from Coleraine. He | :17:03. | :17:06.
was reported missing in the area at the weekend. | :17:06. | :17:11.
Liam Adams, the brother of Gerry Adams will find out tomorrow if he | :17:11. | :17:16.

With only five more sleeps two Christmas Day, at some | :17:41. | :17:44.
schoolchildren will be joining us here over the next few days to sing | :17:44. | :17:50.
carols. Tomorrow we have Cedar Lodge School from North Belfast. | :17:50. | :17:55.
Before the music tonight, we will be in search of Santa's reindeer | :17:55. | :17:59.
and they are not all in Lapland. Now for the sport and there could | :17:59. | :18:04.
be fewer members of the Irish Olympic team heading to London 2012. | :18:04. | :18:09.
Stephen Watson will explain. The Olympic Council of Ireland is | :18:09. | :18:13.
existing that athletes must meet a standard times if they want to be | :18:13. | :18:19.
part of the Irish team going to the Olympic Games. Local athletes such | :18:19. | :18:24.
as Jason Smythe and Melanie Nocher will not be in the team. The | :18:24. | :18:31.
council insists their stance is raising standards. | :18:31. | :18:35.
Lord Coe giving a guided tour of London's Olympic Park to the woman | :18:35. | :18:40.
who has been in charge of team Ireland at next summer's Games. As | :18:40. | :18:44.
a former Olympic silver medallist, Sonia O'Sullivan knows what it | :18:44. | :18:48.
takes to read the top level of international sport. When it comes | :18:48. | :18:52.
to qualifying for the Games, she can appreciate why the Irish | :18:52. | :18:56.
officials are demanding a golden entry standards. There has been | :18:56. | :19:00.
athletes that have gone to the Olympic Games before and maybe they | :19:00. | :19:05.
didn't then that's part. They went there and didn't justify being on | :19:05. | :19:10.
the Olympic team and we want to eliminate that. We are looking at | :19:10. | :19:16.
athletes that can go out there and make a difference. We don't... It | :19:16. | :19:20.
is not that we don't want to shut the door on those that have | :19:20. | :19:26.
potential, we want them to take the stepping stones. As things stand, | :19:26. | :19:31.
no Northern Ireland track and field athlete will be on the plane next | :19:31. | :19:41.
summer. Jason Smythe and Kieran McKeon have only got to the beat | :19:41. | :19:47.
qualifying standards. Athletics Ireland officials say that raising | :19:47. | :19:53.
the bar is raising standards. have put the standard out there and | :19:53. | :19:58.
we have 20 people qualifying. Raise the bar and people step-up to the | :19:58. | :20:03.
plate. Coaches agree with the standards and suggest there is room | :20:03. | :20:11.
for Lee Wave. As a coach, I said my standards high. Maybe we have too | :20:11. | :20:20.
much set in concrete. Some might leave athletics. Maybe we should go | :20:20. | :20:25.
the UK it way. They would send athletes for GB and Northern | :20:25. | :20:35.
Ireland if they had the standard on a regular basis. The Olympic | :20:35. | :20:37.
Council of Ireland says it is determined to stick with its plan | :20:38. | :20:42.
for London. Nobody said qualifying would be easy but for some | :20:42. | :20:47.
competitors, it is more difficult than ever. | :20:47. | :20:52.
They are both from the same town in County Down, drive some of the | :20:52. | :20:56.
fastest cars in the world and are previous winners of the breed it -- | :20:56. | :20:59.
British and racing driver of the year. That is not the only thing | :20:59. | :21:04.
the two men have in common. They happen to share the same surname. - | :21:04. | :21:12.
- British racing driver of the year. Johnny and Steven Kane's success is | :21:12. | :21:20.
not known but they have had great success in America and all over | :21:21. | :21:27.
Europe. We came to the same conclusion that we are brothers and | :21:27. | :21:33.
both of average height. We are both from Northern Ireland and both of | :21:33. | :21:39.
the same name. It is an obvious conclusion for people to come to. | :21:39. | :21:43.
We were talking about the possibility that we could be | :21:43. | :21:46.
related back in the generations. It is weird that we come from the same | :21:46. | :21:56.
:21:56. | :21:57. | ||
place at the same time. For decades, motor sport has been MP vesting | :21:57. | :22:03.
time and money in cars like these on to the track. It is here in | :22:03. | :22:06.
England where the hard work and preparation is done to get to where | :22:06. | :22:15.
our top motorsport drivers through the races. Sports car racing has | :22:15. | :22:19.
been out there for the last 30 or 40 years and it has got bigger and | :22:19. | :22:26.
better. We were getting crowds of up to 230,000 at some races. It is | :22:26. | :22:32.
an eye opener for me. It was a great opportunity to get to America | :22:32. | :22:37.
and get stuck in. Both men won races this year and will set their | :22:37. | :22:42.
sights and competing at their Le Mans at 24 hour next year. At Le | :22:42. | :22:50.
Mans, we will cover the whole season in 24 hours. Because of very | :22:50. | :22:56.
technical. They are as quickly as you can get. They will be no | :22:56. | :23:00.
slowing down for this pair as preparations are underway for next | :23:00. | :23:09.
year. -- the their will. They are five matches today. | :23:09. | :23:12.
Linfield are at home to Lisburn Distillery. The nearest challengers | :23:12. | :23:15.
to the champions of Portadown who have climbed up to second after | :23:16. | :23:20.
back-to-back wins and travel to Carrick tonight determined to keep | :23:20. | :23:24.
their good run going. I have said all along that if we | :23:24. | :23:28.
can keep the players fit, there is no reason why we can't keep it | :23:28. | :23:33.
going. That is the key for us, keeping everyone fit. We are happy | :23:34. | :23:39.
with the position we are in. We will always be stronger in the | :23:39. | :23:44.
second half of the season and that is what we are looking for. | :23:44. | :23:51.
Live coverage is on line. Finally, 19 year-old Rory Donnelly. | :23:51. | :23:55.
Today he was speaking to Liverpool and confirmed he has already spoken | :23:55. | :24:03.
to Everton. The transfer saga goes on. Only he knows where he is going. | :24:03. | :24:08.
Busy time for Santa and his team. Not less for his reindeers. They | :24:09. | :24:16.
are having to get into shape to pull those heavy sleigh's across | :24:16. | :24:19.
the skies. Did you know they are closer to us | :24:19. | :24:29.
:24:29. | :24:32. | ||
Add a sprinkle of snow and a bit of magic and this could be Santa's | :24:32. | :24:40.
Lapland. 30 deer live in this park but many others roam around 400 | :24:40. | :24:44.
acres of woodland. Deer have been associated with this area for | :24:44. | :24:49.
centuries. John looks after them -- them that he loves his job at | :24:49. | :24:54.
Christmas. In the wind time -- wintertime, you get a lot more | :24:54. | :25:01.
children coming to look after and see Santa's dear. I will be here on | :25:01. | :25:09.
Friday evening and will gather up Rudolph, dancer and pram said. | :25:09. | :25:18.
Rudolph is the biggest one. This park is open every day of the year. | :25:18. | :25:25.
When these dear return on Boxing Day, they will be treated to a real | :25:25. | :25:35.
:25:35. | :25:39. | ||
The rain deer don't mind the cold weather and don't mind the snowbird | :25:39. | :25:44.
based not much of that over the next day or so. | :25:44. | :25:54.
It was cool today and it will be changing by daytime we head towards | :25:54. | :25:58.
tomorrow morning. We have mild air flooding back in and that is going | :25:58. | :26:04.
to extend his way from tomorrow into Thursday. We have dry weather | :26:04. | :26:12.
with it as well. The rain has been gathering again and at the moment, | :26:12. | :26:19.
we have it everywhere. The breeze will start to pick up. It is this | :26:19. | :26:24.
part of the event that is the coolest part as well. Temperatures | :26:24. | :26:31.
up to six Celsius. The second part of the night becomes dry and breezy. | :26:31. | :26:36.
Temperatures up to ten Celsius. That mild weather stays with us | :26:36. | :26:41.
tomorrow. There is going to be a lot of cloud in the sky and a dark | :26:41. | :26:48.
and gloomy morning with hill fog around and patchy drizzle. Other | :26:48. | :26:53.
than that, it is mainly dry and stood -- should continue. The | :26:53. | :27:01.
breeze will help break up the cloud a little bit. The cloud is a bit | :27:01. | :27:06.
more stubborn towards the West but it should lift over the hills. The | :27:06. | :27:10.
temperatures of very mild indeed for this time of year. Not too much | :27:10. | :27:16.
change tomorrow night. It is mainly dry, cloudy and breezy. | :27:16. | :27:25.
Temperatures around nine Celsius. Into Thursday, it creaks backed up | :27:25. | :27:30.
-- Create Backup to 12 Celsius. It looks as if we are going to see | :27:30. | :27:36.
more cloud and sunshine although it is pretty mild. That cloud is going | :27:36. | :27:43.
to be thickening as we head through Thursday night. We have a band of | :27:43. | :27:45.
rain but it is going to be cooler rain but it is going to be cooler | :27:45. | :27:52.
behind that. Our late news summary is that when | :27:52. | :27:56. |
