Good evening. A number of people have been

arrested in south and east Belfast after minor trouble. A man was

detained in the Castlereagh Street area while six men were arrested in

Ormeau Park for public order offences. The police say a large

crowd which had gathered in Central station has now dispersed. Train

services between Belfast and Larne were also disrupted for a period

because of disruptive passengers. A 36-year-old man who was being

questioned in connection with the death of a woman in west Belfast has

tonight been released. The police say inquiries into her death are

continuing. BBC Newsline's Mark Simpson reports.

Tributes outside the family home of Eimear Clarke. Her body was

discovered early yesterday morning, in the road where she lived. One

neighbour said that everyone who knew Eimear Clarke was shocked. She

had three children and she was happy. You do not expect it. She was

a happy person. Everyone is devastated. Nobody can believe that

something would happen like this on our doorstep, you do not expect that

to happen. A postmortem examination has been

carried out, but the results have not yet been revealed. The police

were called at 6:25am yesterday. They are still here and are still

searching the house, trying to find out what happened to Eimear Clarke.

A 36 robbed man was arrested yesterday by police, but this

evening he was released unconditionally. -- 36-year-old. The

police say that the investigation into Eimear Clarke's death is

continuing. Nationalist residents in the Carrick

Hill area of Belfast say they would hold no further protests if all

marches past the local Catholic Church were conducted in the same

manner as today's Apprentice Boys' parade. Both the outward and return

leg passed without incident. Helen Jones reports.

Parades pass Saint Patrick 's church have been contested because of the

playing of music. Today, one band led the Apprentice Boys, playing a

single ROM. -- drama. -- drum. Nationalists praise the move, but

said that they wished they had been told. If this is what is intended to

do for the rest of the season. The band continued with the single

beat on the way back. The Apprentice Boys says that they have not ruled

out providing assurance that they would do the same in the future. We

would have to think about that. There is nobody in our club who has

caused any offence. Not long ago, we were congratulated.

There was a heavy security presence. Because of today's outcome, people

will hope that the Apprentice Boys will have set the tone for the rest

of the marching season. Motorcycling, and there was double

success for two riders from Carrickfergus in the British

Championship. Stephen Watson reports.

In England, Alastair Seeley and Glenn Irwin both won races. Alastair

Seeley one with a brilliant passing move. Alastair Seeley collides with

a rider who does not know that he was there.

He went from third place to first place in one corner. Alastair Seeley

is now the early leader of the championship which he hopes to win

with his team. I managed to get to the front very quickly. We saw that

we could do consistent lap times. It is consistent for us, and a good lap

times. Glenn Irwin is relishing the rest of

his season as well. He was fifth today after his first-ever victory

yesterday. Two riders from the same home town sharing the same podium.

It should be a thrilling season. And now here is the weather.

We have had great whether this Easter. Today has been the warmest

day. It will not be as good for the next couple of days. It has been

fined this evening, there will be some fog, but it will not be as cold

as recent nights. No frost in the morning, there will be some cloud

and showers around. Places will see some rain. In the West, there should

be some early sunshine. By the middle of the morning, there will be

some showers. As the day goes on, the showers will become more

widespread. Looking at the picture across Ireland, there is a lot of

cloud. There will be summer breaks at times and some sunshine, but the

temperatures in Northern Ireland will be at least three degrees down

on today, and that is due to the cloudy skies and the rain that most

of us will have for a while, which should drive up again later in the

day. There will be more rain on Wednesday, so you will need an

umbrella. It will improve slightly during the latter part of the day.

The end of the week will see the sun making an appearance. Thursday and

Friday should bring the summer sunshine. It should feel a little

warmer. Not too bad for anyone is still off
