Another row has broken out between the deputy and first ministers. The

DUP have described comments by their opponents as outrageous. How did

this start? It is part of the continuing aftermath of the arrest

of Gerry Adams. The design and about favouritism shown by David Cameron

to the DUP. A scathing attack was launched on the First Minister. I

would challenge anybody in the media to look for any MLA or MP who has

attributed the violence against the Alliance party and against innocent

people from Poland, Lithuania and other parts of eastern Europe, I

challenge anybody to show me a statement from any of them that the

UVF are involved. That is in my opinion coward this of the worst

kind. What was the response of Peter Robinson? The DUP in a statement hit

back strongly. They describe these commitments as outrageous, said the

always disliked hate crimes. They had to adopt a more conciliatory

tone for the Giro D'Italia. It is a matter of recognising we face

serious challenges but have a responsibility to overcome them in

the interests of our people. What is your response to those comments? We

will respond in due course. This tonight is about the Giro D'Italia

event. I do not think dragging those kind of controversial issues into an

evening like this is the right thing to do. We agree on many things, we

agree on encouraging visitors to come to Northern Ireland. We

continue to push those issues together. The First Minister and

Deputy First Minister were putting on a united front of sorts for the

Giro D'Italia. But there are suggestions that Martin McGuinness

has been frozen out by the DUP from some recent jobs announcements. You

can see more of what Martin McGuinness had to say on a programme

after this one. Women here cannot have free abortions on the NHS in

Great Britain a court has ruled. A teenage girl had travelled to

England for a termination when she was 15 and had to pay for the

procedure. She had taken the case to court. It was in a clinic like this

one that the 15-year-old girl from Northern Ireland had an abortion.

Alongside her mother she travelled to Manchester because the procedure

is unlawful here unless it is to preserve the life of the mother. At

court the girl and her mother argued they should be able to access free

abortions at hospitals in England. In court the girl's mother said the

stress of not knowing whether her daughter would have the treatment

and gathering the necessary funds was harrowing. She felt her daughter

had been treated more stunned fairly because when she'd acquired

treatment in another part of the UK, if she could not get it. The judge

said this was a devolved matter which had to be resolved in Northern

Ireland. We feel there needs to be more detailed engagement with the

discrimination issues we have raised. The Society for the

protection of the unborn child welcomed the decision saying had it

gone the other way it would have led to more abortions taking place which

would have been a bad thing or women and children. Despite what other

people say there is support for a change in the law. 63% said women

should not have to be macro for a private abortion in England,

according to one poll. With the Justice Department considering

consulting on changing aspect of the abortion law it is still unlikely

there will be a change soon. And IT services department is creating 400

jobs in Newtonabbey. The posts will have salary levels almost twice the

Northern Ireland average. There has been a multi-million pound award of

a contract by air lingers. It involves the purchase of 189 which

convert to a flat bed. All are due to be in service by the end of March

2015. Belfast turned pink earlier this evening as thousands of people

turned up to see the world's elite cyclists at the opening ceremony of

the Giro D'Italia. Our correspondent went along. They rolled out the pink

carpet at City Hall. The opening ceremony was a chance to catch the

first glimpse of the international riders before they hit the roads of

well fast tomorrow. Also on display was some glamour. Organisers say it

is more than just a cycle race, it is a social event. On the streets

there was a party atmosphere and some party outfits. People of all

ages from all corners of the city and beyond, most of them were

wearing the same colour. It was fantastic, the kids had the ball. It

is the atmosphere, the people, the friendliness and the pink for the

girls. For local cycling clubs, it was a night to remember. We are down

here celebrating the Giro D'Italia and wearing our pink tops for it.

that it finally stopped raining. They do not like slippy conditions.

What about the weather? The weather is a problem in Belfast. I think it

is very dangerous for the bike. The race begins tomorrow afternoon in

east Belfast. Rain or shine, the riders can expect a warm and

colourful welcome. Let's get all the important weather for tomorrow from

Cecelia Daly. If you like thunderstorms you may well hear a

rumble of thunder or see a flash of lightning tonight. On the plus

side, temperatures will not fall too low. Some of those heavy showers

will be around tomorrow morning. They will ease as the day goes on.

It should end on a reasonably fine note. Some showers to begin with. A

persistent lying to the North Coast. -- persistent line. There will be

some sharp showers across Scotland but dry and sunny weather will

develop over the Republic of Ireland and many other areas of England and

Wales. That will come our way tomorrow afternoon. Brightening up

in the afternoon, still some showers around but not so heavy and becoming

scattered. Temperatures could reach 15 degrees. On Friday night, later

on, it will turn very wet. There will still be some of that heavy

rain first thing on Saturday morning. Most of Saturday will bring

some sunshine and heavy showers. Some of the showers will be funded

aid but there will be dry gaps in between. Sunday will be similar with

a mixture of sunshine and showers but rusty wins. That is all from
